Incorrect claim that some elitist (lol) here dubbed dash cat yob cat.

Nah it was mh or struth or some other fabulous wit who also called here ‘wanker cat’

Now both addled and king of socks are calling here Cathollaxy, because you know all we talk about is Catholic stuff.

Quit your BS.
‘catholics’ like YOU are NOT addressing the infiltration of The Church by Her enemies.

YOU simply USE, ‘They’re picking on us Catholics!’, like your partners in propaganda USE, ‘They’re picking on us Jews!’, to silence those who recognise the Anti-Theist the wolves in lamb skins.

Every thing done to date by government has done damage.
Some countries have vaccine passports, some don’t, it’s clearly part of the vaxxnudge program, and to a lesser degree to stop those with active covid cases circulating in the community which is why some vaccine passport countries also allow people to opt for the ‘negative test in the last 24 hours ‘ defacto passport.

What certain simpletons need to recognise is that making comments like ‘it will be temporary’ isn’t an endorsement of the policy but an opinion about reality.
Pretty obvious if covid is circulating and you are unvaxxed you have a very high chance of catching it then you will get the much superior natural immunity passport, which is, again, already accepted for international travel.

lol, Calli. Very sciency indeed. Everyone knows you catch a cold if you stay out in the rain, I opine to Hairy, having read my Jane Austin where Mrs. Bennet pushes her eldest daughter into the rain to catch her man or her death of cold. Cautious people need their brolly. People like Hairy, who think umbrellas are for sissies, can take their chances, as I always advise him. Yet I catch worse colds than he does. Go figure.

For pity’s sake srr, you miserable git.

Rosie is being sarcastic about Grigory casting aspersions on the Dash-Cat in order to cause grievance. Like the craven and nasty little troll he has always been.

Your desperation to perpetrate and perpetuate a stoush with someone you hate as mindlessly as Bird hates Semites (of all persuasions, as it turns out. Not just the ones surrounded by Jordan, Egypt and Syria…) across every Cat forum you post on, makes you incredibly poor and highly unwanted company.

If you absolutely have to do a Struth, and denounce and abuse rosie at least once a day to stop your heart exploding from inchoate fury and rage, please be more like Arky and JC.

The bottom line is that anyone who downloads their Covid Vaccination Certificate, and uses it, is supporting (or at the very least appeasing) vaccine apartheid.

Anyone (vaccinated or otherwise) who answers such a request or demand with, “none of your business”, is making a stand against it.

I’m sorry if that upsets people, but it really is now that binary.
We are at the stage where people are going to have to dig deep inside themselves and do some serious contemplation of their individual beliefs and principles, and their commitment to them. A journey of self discovery awaits everyone.

Retiring Liberal MP Andrew Laming has joined the ranks of backbenchers to raise concerns about the scheme, which he said risks taking the decision-making process away from health experts and placing them in the hands of “virtue-signalling baristas”.”

It just occurs to me.
A business with a hipster “covid marshall” could exclude a certain demographic by saying they think Pfizer is superior and exclude AZ people.

Covid Marshalls & their lower ranks are the SS & Stasi of this age.

The Power ‘they’ (those drowning in bitterness towards all who’ve ‘made’ them feel ‘lesser’ by simply succeeding at simple things), have been given is dangerously addictive & they will NOT give it up now that they’ve tasted it

Unvaccinated people are only a ‘threat’ to themselves, surely.

Exactly.
As far as I can tell, the published claims (not my assertions) about the vaxes are:-
1. They do not reduce your chance of catching Kung Flu;
2. They do not reduce your chance of transmission on to others;
3. Theydo reduce your symptoms and risk of hospitalisation or death.
It could be argued that a vaxxed person is a higher risk, because statistically they are more likely to be asymptomatic and unwittingly pass the virus on.

And when some people make a discovery about themselves that they don’t like, they again have a choice:

You’d need to disaggregate this by age though.

Age is a key determining factor for this virus and its florid expression, vaxxed or not.

“13. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.”

As to your personal fixation of crying, “Johanna is ‘fixated’ on me.”, psycho babble (designed to rally white knights for you); she’s been so pin point accurate at describing you, that you had nothing left but to cry the losers cry of, ‘Destroy the people who see the truth of me!’

Population scared and paranoid

Circumvention of standard democratic procedures to enact those laws
Restriction of the population re movement and association

Informer mindset amongst the population
Social ostracism of individuals

Yet the Indian data showed around two thirds had anti bodies.
I don’t know that Diamond Princess is enough to rely on .
The antibody tests are going to be more readily available so we might get a better picture of those who have had covid or maybe even have natural immunity.

That doesn’t change my view that vaccine passports is a nudge policy , iirc Macron said so and that they are a short term ‘solution’ that for lots of people who are not vaxxed will soon enough become a non issue.

In Israel one of the problems children were excluded from cafes and restaurants because of passport requirements.
Another reason I don’t think they’ll be around very long.
And incidentally, as we live in a democracy, we could always vote them out.

Yes, it’s remarkable isn’t it. When you look at the overall picture, the actual figures, this thing just isn’t what it’s being portrayed to be. And those figures still rest on the assumption that the PCR test is “accurate and reliable” and not being abused by ramping up the replications to infinity to get a “positive” result. Oh, and one assumes those figures still also count the gunshot victims, road accident victims etc who might have had a “positive” test result post mortem.

Dan bans grandparents from looking after their grandchildren:

In the Herald Sun, Friday 27th
(Abbreviated precis:)

New Stay At Home rules for grandparents in Victoria

Victorian grandparents have been hit with updated rules about looking after their grandchildren, under orders in a new government document.

 Stephen Drill
Herald Sun
August 27, 2021 – 3:35PM

Victorian grandparents have been banned from looking after grandchildren even if that had been their regular arrangement.

Covid Response Commander Jeroen Weimar confirmed there was a tough interpretation of child care rules in Victoria.

That type of care was no longer considered normal household activity and was now outside the rules.

The Stay at Home orders were updated at 11.59pm on Thursday.

Mr Weimar said on Friday that the rules “suck” but they were needed to reduce the spread of the virus.

“We know that for many people if you know, if you’re if your nan looks after your kid, every Tuesday, that’s a normal thing, you may regard that as part of your normal household activity,” Mr Weimar said.

At this point in time it’s not.

The document published this week on the Department of Health and Human Services website puts a clearer interpretation on how grandparents can give care.

Page 15 and 16 of the document restricts grandparents’ care to people who are authorised workers or those with vulnerable children.

Under the rules, grandparents can only provide childcare if:

The parents of the child are authorised workers
The grandchildren are classed as vulnerable
The child’s parent needs to go to a medical appointment for themselves that the child cannot attend
To look after children for authorised workers on shift work, and to allow them to sleep

The rules came into effect on Friday, just days after Premier Daniel Andrews had said there were few options to make Victoria’s lockdown measures tougher.

Some poor maintenance bloke who goes out every day into a hostile environment environment every day, populated by boogey men and dangerous machinery, while being pushed around by his pampered partner who sits at home and watches him on live feed while doing very little useful.

From the get go, its clear she has some sort of (sexual?) hold over him.

To top it off, she’s directed from afar by a very stern older woman.

The future – men doing the shit work, women in the C-suite.

(let’s not even get into the real plot about the super-hot lost wife, who upon waking from her 50 year deep sleep, finds that hubby is a clone (#42), but gets back in the sack with him anyway. When he dies heroically at the end of the movie and she’s bringing up a kid with no daddy, she just shacks up with clone #54).

Trump caught Covid, as did Melania. She appeared to be in a worse state than he was, regardless of age. I have been doing a bit of speculation on how he caught it in an atmosphere of utmost care.

Tinfoil time – how about Melania was deliberately infected with a big viral load, being less well guarded, and passed it on? Young Barron got a dose too. I reckon it was some time around ACB’s swearing-in. And I also think it might have been an assassination attempt, given Trump’s age. One that could not be sheeted back to anyone. Too bad, so sad.

But it didn’t kill the bugger. No worries. Plan A was still all go.

As Bruce noted above, one of the core aspects of Reacher is his physical presence; Cruise has no physical presence; that lack is overcome in a lot of movies (Mission Impossible) by his energy; but in Reacher it was essential and only its inherent narrative strength saved the first Reacher movie but could not save the second which had a $100 million fall off in receipts. The point is moot anyway since with the latest 2 novels Reacher has gone irretrievably woke with the villains in the latest being Trump supporters and Russians and the goodies being BLM.

(Rather a moot point, as he does not have any serious political opponents)

Yep, while others here still champion Abbott, I remind people Hanson had balls before he got her gaoled, long enough to know why she never wants to go there again & easy enough to know she can be put back at any time, and bingo, suddenly she & hers are consistently missing in action when it matters.

I don’t think I’ve ever reported a comment here anyway. This is not the Dash-Cat, alive with crazies and even there I only ‘flag’ comments by Bird that are offensive for the usual reason, not just his rambling craziness.

Even Tom Elliot now reckons cost of lockdowns might be eclipsing the cost of the cov.

A mental health expert was quoted on this arvo’s radio news that the Premiers should be announcing suicide deaths at their press conferences.
He said ‘They are just as dead from suicide as they are from Covid.”
No one will listen to him of course.

President Trump was treated for Covid 19 by Dr. Vladamir Zelenko using his protocol ( Hcq, zinc and arithromycin).
This is a simple cheap and effective treatment/ cure.

This raises the question as to why would he be vaccinated when simple treatments are available, as he well knows.

long enough to know why she never wants to go there again

Yes, the trick pulled in another era by plod in the UK on one Mandy Rice Davies and other good time girls, in her case refusing her bail and putting her at the mercy of bad treatment behind bars. We are watching the Keeler series on ABC iview – discovered it is good for something at least. In the episode we watched last night good time Louch Larry Stephen Ward topped himself. He was clearly a Geoffrey Epstein type. The screenplay treats him very sympathetically, perhaps not wrongly, for he really was badly set up by plod. These events played out in 1963, when I first went to tech to get educated and matriculate. I can remember a lot of it, even now. I always liked Mandy, for she obviously played the system whereas it brought Christine very low. Their later lives showed this too.

The point is moot anyway since with the latest 2 novels Reacher has gone irretrievably woke with the villains in the latest being Trump supporters and Russians and the goodies being BLM.

Reacher has always been a bit woke. The villains are usually white rural rednecks. Reacher generally “saves” some innocent liberal type.

Reacher has always been the worst serial killer in fiction. He usually knocks off a dozen or so, and maims many others. The police (more rednecks) never seem to follow the trail of bodies and evidence to its source.

I’ve been wondering if Grigory – or one of his many iterations – still claims that Gladys, with her reluctance to close up NSW, failed against dictator Dan, who locked down immediately after anyone sneezed within his hearing.

Grigory scoffed when NSW cases began rising, declaring that if Gladys had locked down immediately, as Dan had done, they would’ve been hunky dory. Unfortunately for him and for Dan, Vic cases are rising daily, despite his plebs’ imprisonment.

Would some kind Cat please provide a link to Dash Cat? TIA.

I still read Dash Cat….don’t comment much but that’s not to say I won’t in the future but I get the impression that there are some on Dash Cat who are rather hostile to DB’s Cat. I don’t know why…the more sites the merrier! I don’t think one site is better than the other…although I like the layout of DB’s Cat and it is certainly more user friendly. As for the crazies…there’s one here who, when she’s not getting “hit on”, seems to spend her whole time flitting from one site to another. DB’s site is better moderated and I think that’s important.
