The market is ridiculously overpriced and the COVID lockdown has depressed supply – selling is a PITA because of the restrictions on the number of people allowed in the property at one time. The owner can’t even adjourn to a coffee shop for an hour while people are being shown through, so presumably they have to go and sit in their car up the street or something.
I am keeping an eye on the listings but am in no hurry. With the lockdown, being in a motel in the middle of town is actually better than being stuck in an apartment in the suburbs somewhere. I can wander around town foraging for food anytime I like quite legally. Also, there is a kitchen in the motel which I can use if the desire to cook comes over me.
Tonight I am the only guest in this usually bustling business, poor owner must be miserable, although she puts a good face on things. There have been a few other customers since I’ve been here, but never more than three or four rooms at a time, and often less.
OTOH, the Asian restaurants are doing a roaring takeaway trade just across the road – talk about winners and losers.

Abstract
Non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS) is a syndrome diagnosed in patients with symptoms that respond to removal of gluten from the diet, after celiac disease and wheat allergy have been excluded. NCGS has been related to neuro-psychiatric disorders, such as autism, schizophrenia and depression. A singular report of NCGS presenting with hallucinations has been described in an adult patient. We report a pediatric case of a psychotic disorder clearly related to NCGS and investigate the causes by a review of literature.
