I keystroke very loudly because my first work computer was Compaq and you had to push down hard on the keys which were really noisy. I’m still loud when keystroke. I guess she can tell the tempo 🙂

My 11 yr old Grandaughter did get wacked by a baseball bat (on the backswing) on Sunday Hospital…lots of stiches…plastic surgeon ending in neat and tidy scar just above the eyebrow. Did you like the little watercolour of the battlefield? Meares, I think. There was a series of them, but I liked that one best.

Today I read up on the church at Albert and its golden virgin and child. They shelled the church, it was good for range-finding as it was on the highest point on what was, essentially poorly drained water meadows. The legend went that when the virgin finally toppled from her prone position, the war would end. That happened in 1918.

Here’s part of the story of the watercolour (h/t Wiki)

He signed his work “Gnr FJ Mears BEF”, or “Gnr FJ Mears RGA BEF”, but always wrote this upside down, explaining: “The whole of the World is upside down… Why then should my signature only be the right way up?”.

He described one of his early works as:

a picture of a shattered, splintered trees crying aloud … against the horrors of it all, of dark sinister pools of mud, of a troubled sky, and of insignificant little crouching figures running across a shell-swept road

He was gassed in 1917 and sent home.

I’m inclined to agree because it only targets the spike protein. The more protein targets for the immune system, the wider the repertoire of antibodies produced, the larger the number of memory B cells produced. I’m hoping that results in a much more persistent antiviral response.

We show that, after 72 h of challenge, a spike-based vaccine confers acute protection in the lung, but not in the brain. However, combining a spike-based vaccine with a nucleocapsid-based vaccine confers acute protection in both the lung and brain. These findings suggest that nucleocapsid-specific immunity can improve the distal control of SARS-CoV-2, warranting the inclusion of nucleocapsid in next-generation COVID-19 vaccines.

Former Communist Countries leading the world race to not be duped…

Of course they are. They know very well what they’re facing. After all that’s happened, can there really be anyone left in Australia who believes this is about health?

That article was written by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) which is, according to them,

an independent, non-partisan think tank based in Canberra. ASPI is one of the most authoritative and widely quoted contributors to public discussion of strategic policy issues in Australia and a recognised and authoritative Australian voice in international discussion of strategic issues, especially in the Asia–Pacific.

I’m not sure whether this is their usual approach, but this article is entirely from the communist perspective.

What is wrong with Eastern Europe? In short, mis- and disinformation. The region is awash in it, a legacy of the breakdown of public trust in governmental institutions after communism. Feverish conspiracy theories have gripped these countries like the coronavirus’s shadow.

Breakdown of public trust … after communism? They repeat this several times. I can personally attest that the public trust in governmental institutions was in the vicinity of zero BEFORE the fall of communism.

If this is the state of our institutions, no wonder we’re in the mess we are.

Thanks John H. I’d read somewhere that the very narrow focus of the mRNA vaccines, along the lines you’re saying (I think!) could actually be counterproductive. Is that so? I’m ok with a relatively ineffective vaccine if it’s the lowest available for adverse side effects, but if it’s actually a negative for immunity I’d think again.

Thousands of dollars are being spent training NSW public servants in “being woke”, with lessons in “unconscious bias”, employer guides on “intersex inclusion”, and quizzes about whether staff are “hot” or “cold” towards white people.

The Treasury department alone has spent $56,000 on the “SBS Cultural Inclusion” courses, while other departments say they are doing the courses but haven’t spent money in the past year.

At the Department of Communities and Justice more than 9000 staff have done the training at a cost to taxpayers of $22,000 a year.

Staff at the Department of Premier and Cabinet have also accessed the courses but say they haven’t paid anything for two years, while the Department of Regional NSW won’t reveal how much they are forking out for their staff training.

The Australian Taxpayers Alliance said the spend was “wasteful” and is “indoctrinating a single world view”.

One Nation MP Mark Latham, who uncovered the spending, said the lessons are “political indoctrination” woke politics and the public servants should be focusing on their day jobs.

Broadcaster SBS launched the courses in 2019 to “build cultural diversity in the workplace”.

They include sections on the theory of “unconscious bias” as well training about LGBTIQ, gender, indigenous and the disabled.

“These courses are designed to make participants hate Australia, white people in particular,” Mr Latham said.

“They depict our country as inherently racist, sexist and homophobic.

“It’s not about inclusion at all. It’s about division, propaganda and political indoctrination.

“It says a lot about how the NSW Government wastes taxpayers’ money on this stuff, instead of having public servants get on with their day jobs in delivering basic services.”

Australian Taxpayer Alliance spokesman Gabe Buckley has questioned the funds allocated to the courses.

“Not only is it a gross misuse of taxpayer funds, it is inappropriate for the government to indoctrinate a worldview through propaganda,” he said.

Treasury’s official response on the spend was that the courses had “furthered employee’s knowledge of diversity” and the diverse public they serve.

Course materials contain links to the US “Implicit Association Test”, which claims “most Americans have an automatic preference for white over black” and includes questions like “How warm or cold do you feel towards White people?” in its quiz.

It also claims that the United States has a “high score on the masculinity dimension” which has “contributed to financial crises”.

Ed Grigory is right.

No plant or plant mater has any trace metals in them, until they are perfidiously rolled by nickel.

Steel of course deposits no trace elements ever and is never alloyed with nickel, for use on rollers etc.

The iron cycle in biology is of course entirely from animal to animal transfer (predation or farming).

The more protein targets for the immune system, the wider the repertoire of antibodies produced, the larger the number of memory B cells produced. I’m hoping that results in a much more persistent antiviral response.

I don’t know about being counterproductive but the rapid wane in efficacy points to their limitations for long term protection. I don’t want to be taking booster shots forever and I cannot think of any reason why the booster shots will confer long term protection. Ideally I prefer a vaccine is where the spike protein is not a target. The other day I read that some bods believe the myocarditis is arising because the spike protein has sufficient similarity with some heart muscle proteins to induce an autoimmune response. My concern is that the transient autoimmune response may become activated if further damage occurs to the heart as the years go by or even just with changes in immune function with age. I’m arm waving but I’d rather err on the side of caution than risk an organ for present or future damage; especially given the heart has extremely limited repair capacity.

It is interesting reading the original Hippocratic oath, then, reading the so-called modern version of the same oath only then to discover that in 2006 the AMA adopted the WMA Declaration of Geneva which states;

I solemnly pledge to consecrate my life to the service of humanity;
I will give to my teachers the respect and gratitude that is their due;
I will practice my profession with CONSCIENCE and dignity;
THE HEALTH OF MY PATIENT WILL BE MY FIRST CONSIDERATION;
I will respect the secrets that are confided in me, even after the patient has died;
I will maintain, by all means in my power, the honour and the noble traditions of the medical profession;
My colleagues will be my sisters and brothers;
I will not permit considerations of age, disease or disability, creed, ethnic origin, gender, nationality, political affiliation, race, sexual orientation, social standing or any other factor to intervene between my duty and my patient;
I will maintain the utmost respect for human life;
I WILL NOT USE MY MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE TO VIOLATE HUMAN RIGHTS AND CIVIL LIBERTIES, EVEN UNDER THREAT;
I make these promises solemnly, freely and upon my honour.

(capitals are mine.)

I highlight this because the AMA, state and federal governments and their various public service bodies have threatened doctors since the beginning of this scam. And, was indeed brought to the fore with the raiding of a good Dr. in Melbourne yesterday, also the grotesque attitude shown towards a mate of a writer earlier, the writer working tirelessly to gain an exemption which the stinking doctors if they actually followed this so-called declaration would have immediately granted.

I see NO good conscience in the bulk of the medical people and I certainly do NOT see them upholding the HUMAN RIGHTS or CIVIL LIBERTIES for which they so proudly proclaim.

Indeed they demonstrate the exact opposite, i.e hypocrites the vast majority of them, cowed into submission by bum sitters and pen pushers, not to forget of course the mighty $’s which they might lose.

As the saying goes;

Conformity is doing what you are told,
Morality is doing what is RIGHT REGARDLESS of what you are told.

Fitzroy Crossing loses only dentist as crime crisis leads to town ‘exodus’
Sam Jones
Broome Advertiser
Thu, 11 November 2021 8:13AM

The only dentist in Fitzroy Crossing has become the latest casualty of what community leaders say is a “mass exodus” from the town due to crime.

A closed until further notice sign could be seen on the door of the State Government-run facility last week, with a North Metropolitan Health Service spokesperson saying the Fitzroy Crossing general dental clinic was “regrettably closed temporarily” from October 8 due to an incident that required “accommodation and security upgrades for staff”.

“Once these upgrades are completed it is anticipated services will be reinstated,” the spokes-person said.

“Dental services can meanwhile be provided at either the Derby or Broome General Dental Clinics and emergency treatment can be sought at the Fitzroy Crossing Hospital.”

In September, the clinic’s dental nurse Claudette Davison took to social media to vent frustration over the crime in town.

“My car got stolen this morning. They dismantled the back door, stole the keys by our bedside while we were sleeping,” she said in a Facebook post.

“They entered our bedroom to switch off the camera. How much safety, we need more.”

Her post was backed by numerous Fitzroy Crossing residents sharing their experience.

Fitzroy Business Network chair Phil Hams said the dentist was one of many people leaving town due to spiralling crime rates.

“We’re at crisis point to be honest,” he said.

“Every single day we have cars being stolen and homes being broken into and nothing seems to be changing.

“It’s pushing long-term residents to their breaking point and they’re leaving town — taking their valuable and important services with them.”

Mr Hams said residents felt their worries were falling on deaf ears.

“I’m not sure the exact figures in town, but I’d love to see how many cars have been stolen as a ratio to population,” he said.

“I’m sure the number would be ludicrous, and it’d be on the forefront of concerns if it was the same ratio in Perth.

Ahh Fitzroy Crossing…My first introduction was when I flew over it and spied some wonderful ponds and small lakes glittering in the sunlight, until someone told me it’s the reflection from the flattened beer cans.

Salvatore, Understaffed & Overworked Martyr to Border Closure

Why anyone would live in Fitzroy Crossing is beyond me.

Hmmm.
Twice I’ve tried my heart out to get to live in Fitzroy Crossing for the rest of my life.
Alas it was not to be.
Opportunities that perhaps never were, however you still ponder them wistfully, through the mists of nostalgia.

The centre right political leaders in Australia, Tony?
The ones that didn’t say a word when Victorians got shot by VicPol for protesting against the world’s longest lockdown.
Craig Kelly is worth 50 of you.”
