Being 52 is a dangerous age.

Very, very sad. She had a great deal of integrity, and did not shrink from calling out her Party when she thought it was warranted.

Of course, one always wonders these days why a previously healthy, fit person dies at such a young age.

When is the election going to be called?

I plan on making a small-decent donation to the LDP. The minor right wing parties need to aim for actual control of the Senate in 2 – 3 terms, maximum, or I think this country is rather more ruined than we could imagine say five years ago.

I suspect we will get a lot of stupid dayglo feds in here. Note the US DHS now considers disinformation, misinformation now “mal – information” they don’t control as a threat like that of terrorism.

Mal information. You know, this is likely true, but it is damaging.

“I think it is crazy to pay $2.60 per litre of diesel in Australia to *punish* Vladimir Putin…”

Arguably “mal information” – and now likened to a terroristic threat.

The talk earlier about Marianne Faithfull’s change of abode reminded me of another young English singer of that era, Helen Shapiro. She was only 14 years old when she released “Walking Back to Happiness,” and she went on a tour around England to promote sales. She had a second act on her tour, a bunch of Liverpudlians who just returned from Hamburg, the Beatles were her supporting act.

Nowadays, she’s a leading luminary in the Jewish Messianic movement, a story of her life is here:

I’ve mentioned this more than once as well. At 9 or 10 am in the morning, they are still showing the national pressure map from 6 pm the previous day. Slack and unacceptable in this day and age.

Slack and unacceptable indeed. And these are the same buggers who claim that the diligent postmasters and others who recorded daily temperatures and other weather observations back in the 1800s weren’t reliable, because they were human and would have made mistakes or something.

These days the weather stations are automated, presumably all linked back to a central computer processing site for correlation and organisation into a chart and publishing. I doubt there’s a human being involved anywhere in the process any longer.

If there was, even if that somebody had only the responsibility of checking all the data were in from the various sites and the computations made, and maybe just pushing a button to publish the latest chart on time, it might get done. Or not.

Dover, please. Wagner is part of the Russian TO&E. They’re the “LGM” who took Crimea.

I agree there’s a market for private merc services especially in the piratical areas like off Lagos and Mogadishu, but it’s clear Putin has been fostering them for a long time as a part of the plausibly deniable facts-on-the-ground strategy. Which was working really well until is sudden brain explosion a couple weeks ago.

The downside of the plausible deniability thing is what happened when they tried to take the Syrian oil resource in the US protected sector of that country. A full battalion of LGM and Syrian militia and quite a lot of mech assets was splatted by US artillery…Trump being the President at the time.

John – The Russians are in Syria to prevent the building of pipelines from Qatar, Saudi and UAE to Europe. Russians also have wanted a port in the Med for a very long time, and by helping Assad they have use of Latakia.

They’ve been very successful with limited commitment of assets. Although those were mainly air support, and in the current war the Russian Air Force has been oddly quiet, which may be because rotation of squadrons through Damascus has caused a lot of wear and tear, plus use of munitions.

The Russian Ministry of Defence continues analysis of documents provided by employees of Ukrainian biological laboratories on the secret military biological activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine.

Russian specialists of the NBC protection troops have studied documents on the transfer of human biomaterials taken in Ukraine to foreign countries on the instructions of US representatives.

Detailed information about the implementation of a project by the United States on the territory of Ukraine to study the transfer of pathogens by wild birds migrating between Ukraine and Russia and other neighboring countries was of particular interest.

According to the documents, the American side planned to organize work on pathogens of birds, bats and reptiles in Ukraine in 2022. And further study of the possibility to transfer of African swine fever and anthrax by them.

According to the documents, experiments with samples of bat coronavirus were carried out in biological laboratories created and funded in Ukraine.

The purpose of these and other Pentagon-funded biological researches in Ukraine was the creation of mechanism for the covert spread of deadliest pathogens.

In the near future, we will show another set of documents received from Ukrainian employees of biological laboratories and present the results of their assessment».

The standing joke on Russian military equipment (and maybe general ag equipment as well) is that if you want it and want it to work, don’t buy Russian.

The Ukrainians did a T-80UD (Diesel-powered T-80 variant) derivative called the T-84 Oplot, which isn’t too bad. And the Polish PT-91 Twardy comfortably out-T-72s the T-72 amd its latter-day T-90 descendant. Though Poland has NATO’d up and bought Leopard 2s of late.

Same with the small-arms. Izmash may have got better quality control in the post-soviet era, but consider Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Hungarian AKs, RPGs, RPKs, PKMs, SVDs and so forth over the Russian ones. The build quality has traditionally been much better.

Can the Vaccines Write the Spike Protein Into the Human Genome?

Reverse transcription should be considered as a leading candidate to explain why the spike mRNA lasts for at least two months and the spike protein itself lasts for at least four months after vaccination. These long durations do not make sense without invoking some unexpected mechanisms of preserving or replicating the mRNA.

While this may have not been expected, and while it still is not settled, this was known as plausible the entire time and this should have been settled with well-done experiments before the human trials were conducted. It is public health malfeasance that we are left to argue about medicore-quality studies on this topic while we are halfway through vaccinating the world.

It was the Russians that helped save the Christians in Syria.

Yes, I have a lot of time for them for that. Putin has been fostering the Russian Orthodox Church and that’s a really good thing in my opinion, even though he tends to persecute other denominations. The JWs have just fled Russia:

Jehovah’s Witnesses flee Russia for worship without fear (7 Mar)

I’ve had many a fine conversation with JWs. We tend not to agree. After a while they’d sent their pastor to visit (big guns), since whenever they arrived I’d duck in and bring out my ancient NIV which is held together with sticky tape. Whereupon we’d have a fine time trading Bible verses like ballistic missiles. Sadly they’ve stopped coming around. I suspect I’m black listed.

It is very concerning. As you note though both studies cited by Masterjohn have their problems. Sadly what should have happened with the PNAS paper is instead of the endless commentary there should have been a big effort to try and replicate the findings. The first paper I dismiss for various reasons but there is no excuse for failing to follow through on the PNAS paper.

Hailing from Idlib – the “largest Al Qaeda haven since 9/11”- these fanatics from various countries have been despatched to Ukraine to fight against the Russian forces that alongside the Syrian Arab Amy signified the end of their Caliphatist dreams in Syria.

I’m so glad that PM Morrison sent $70 million to the Ukraine to arm the Al Qaeda, Australian generosity at its best.

To be fair BoM has their model maps available to anyone, 3 hr intervals for three days then at six hour intervals the rest of the week.

The official maps are produced by BoM people interpreting the model maps. And they’re cautious in doing so. So you get most of the info by just going to the model maps, plus the latest sat pic.

They seem to run the supercomputer a couple times a day, maybe 4 times. So the model maps change a lot. But they’re a reasonable guide.

Extrapolating out a hundred years is something else entirely of course.

Deion Sanders Loses Two Toes, Narrowly Escapes Leg Amputation Due to Blood Clots (8 Mar)

Pro Football Hall of Famer and Jackson State football coach Deion Sanders suffered the amputation of two toes on his left foot and narrowly escaped a lower leg amputation after contracting severe blood clots in his leg, according to reports.

The 54-year-old coach had entered a Mississippi hospital with three “life-threatening” femoral arterial blood clots, and at one point, he feared that he would lose his lower leg to the condition.

Sanders told fans of his medical issues in which he said he is “thankful for GOD” for getting him through the frightening times.

No comment about the cause of the blood clots. Hmmm. I saw many a game of him as WR for the 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys. Marvelous talent, and a fine guy. Best wishes sir.

Bruce, I’m talking about the actual charts from observations, as in actual gathered data, which is surely fully automated now. Projections, yes I can understand caution in developing those, of course. Meteorology is complex.

But the BOM used to publish the actual mean sea level pressure chart on time four times per day. I know that because I used to access them as soon as they were published for work reasons. They no longer appear able to do so, and the waiting times can be random, but often lengthy, and with no explanation offered for the delay.

If it’s no longer possible for some logistical/techinical reason to publish at the regular times, perhaps the BOM could inform those who pay them why it is not, and offer a schedule that they CAN meet.

Albanese to take lead from Rudd on the international stage

Asked which foreign policy prime minister he would emulate if he defeats Scott Morrison in May Anthony Albanese named Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard, Bob Hawke, Paul Keating and John Curtin.

Anthony Albanese will seek to emulate Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard on the international stage if he wins the election, pledging to get Australia out of the “naughty corner” and step-up on climate change and strategic leadership.

Speaking at the Lowy Institute on Thursday, the Opposition Leader promised that Labor would increase spending on national security, stand up against Chinese aggression and expand Australia’s soft diplomacy.

Asked which foreign policy prime minister he would emulate if he defeats Scott Morrison in May, Mr Albanese named former Labor leaders Mr Rudd, Ms Gillard, Bob Hawke, Paul Keating and John Curtin.

Mr Albanese said he saw Mr Rudd at a G20 summit in London going between “president (Barack) Obama, the Chinese delegation and all the countries there to try and get some common interest”.

“One of the things I witnessed there was, first-hand, Australia punching above our weight,” Mr Albanese said.

“The relationship that Julia Gillard forged with president Obama was extraordinary. It led to Julia addressing Washington in what was a celebrated address and a great honour for our country. It led, as well, to the increased presence of the marines and the United States in the Northern Territory.”

John Curtin. F.M.S. Completely out of his depth as a wartime leader. and dominated by the union movement.

EXCLUSIVE: Deleted Web Pages Show Obama Led an Effort To Build a Ukraine-Based BioLab Handling ‘Especially Dangerous Pathogens’.

Recovered by The National Pulse, the article raises serious questions about U.S. government activity in Ukraine, stretching back almost two decades.
[…]
Originally posted on June 18th, 2010, the article “Biolab Opens in Ukraine” details how Obama, while serving as an Illinois Senator, helped negotiate a deal to build a level-3 bio-safety lab in the Ukrainian city of Odessa.

The article, which also highlighted the work of former Senator Dick Lugar, was additionally included in Issue No. 818 of the United States Air Force (USAF) Counterproliferation Center’s Outreach Journal.

“Lugar said plans for the facility began in 2005 when he and then-Senator Barack Obama entered a partnership with Ukrainian officials. Lugar and Obama also helped coordinate efforts between the U.S and Ukrainian researchers that year in an effort to study and help prevent avian flu,” explained author Tina Redlup

HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE
By Dale Carnegie
[Revised Australian edition]
Part Three Chapter 12A – When nothing else works, even Chapter 12, try this

Sometimes just nothing you do seems to get through. No matter how you try the other fellow just won’t budge.
But don’t give in! That’s the time you can really impress him with your can-do attitude, grit, spunk and determination!
I had an experience like that. I’d tried everything in a pitch, and the prospective customer said to me “well Mr Carnegie, I must admit your presentation has been very impressive, but I’m still not convinced it’s right for our company”.
I could have given up, but I just knew there had to be a way to clinch the deal. Luckily I remembered a strategy taught to me by an Australian truck driver. I looked the prospective customer in the eye, and said:
“You’re a failure in life, and a shallow cock smoker.”
And he said, “well Mr Carnegie, now that you put it that way, I see things completely differently. I’ve come round totally to your way of thinking. It will be a pleasure to do business with you.”

https://www.veteranstoday.com/2022/02/24/us-bioweapons-labs-in-ukraine-what-will-russia-find-in-the-labs/

The US military program is sensitive information
Ukraine has no control over the military bio-laboratories on its own territory. According to the 2005 Agreement between the US DoD and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine the Ukrainian government is prohibited from public disclosure of sensitive information about the US program and Ukraine is obliged to transfer to the US Department of Defense (DoD) dangerous pathogens for biological research.
The Pentagon has been granted access to certain state secrets of Ukraine in connection with the projects under their agreement”…

The original deal was,, I gather posited or presented as; Just like the nukes USSR left in Ukraine when it collapsed, it had bio/chem research and storage facilities, and the U.S. is just going to take them over, to insure the destruction of the nasties,…(and take the research, so it doesn’t get into the “wrong hands”).

That was like,..in 2005? And yet they built new facilities since then? All the bad stuff SHOULD have bern destroyed by now, and the lab notes could have been transferred back to the U.S.

So, we got special NAZI (AZOZ) military units, internationally prohibited Chem-Bio research facilities, Mountains of illicit cash being run thru the Ukranian embassy, reports of massive corruption both in the Ukranian gov and US government,.some of the people directly involved in the Ukraine phone call impeachment hoax, are the same ones heavily involved in Ukraine,…

And its painfully obvious the Congressional Republican leadership is eaqually involved.

You just can’t make this stuff up, no one would believe you.

This explains both their insane over-reaction to “the perfect phone call” AND their over-reaction to Putins invasion of Russia.

And I bet Poland KNEW this was going on in Ukraine, as well.

He was a zany character with some interesting views but he was a good sort and I’d say he and I were broadly on the side of right, so to speak. I regarded you and him similarly, but now I see I was wrong about you. Because you know what he wasn’t? He wasn’t a whiny, self-pitying, thin-skinned little bitch martyr. I will leave you alone from now on as you’re obviously extremely delicate and fragile.

Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby JUST LIED TO THE WORLD

US has funded Ukraine Lab Pathogen and Bio Weapon Research since 2005

A publicly-available document shows a $15MN agreement signed between the US DoD and Ukraine’s Health Ministry to support research into biological weapon research in Kiev, Lvov and Odessa.

The US govt provided materials and training for “cooperative biological research, biological threat agent detection and response, and improving biological material protection, control and accountability”.

Details were withheld from public disclosure, but “state secrets of Ukraine” were to be shared with the US Defense Dept.

Good news from Daily Telegraph.

“Ray Hadley has taken a huge hit in the first radio ratings survey of 2022.

The 2GB mornings host has notched up his 139th consecutive survey win, despite a significant 3.5 percentage point drop in audience share to a lead of 14.9 per cent in the timeslot.

The result comes after Hadley’s show has been dominated by discussions around Covid-19 and the health orders, when other programs on the station have moved on to other news. Hadley too has been strongly critical of Premier Dominic Perrottet, repeatedly criticising him for not going hard enough when it comes to the pandemic”.

Hadley turning off his audience is no surprise. He hates having on anybody with a different view to his.

GERMANY-BASED WEBHOSTING CENSORED SOUTHFRONT
Unfortunately the Hetzner Team was tricked by manipulations of the recently established propagandist structure (like https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/) that works to instigate international hatred. Structures like this one are not satisfied with our independent position and alternative point of view on the ongoing military developments.

Precious little revenging going on from the bloke on the couch.

A montage of sorts.

An homage, if you will, to the bloke who said he ‘merely suggests’ things to people, and is mildly annoyed by gentle disagreement:

You’re a fucking goose, and deserve all that’s coming to you.

How many boosters are you going to get, fuckheads?
And fuck heads you most certainly are.

YOU ARE A DEAD CUNT.

You’re a failure in life, and a shallow cock smoker.

get fucked.

You’ll be dead soon enough, comrade.
And a more deserving character escapes me.

And…er…….fuck you.

All this from a bloke who couldn’t influence his own family – his own flesh and blood – not to get vaccinated, and yet who demands the same of literally millions of people he’s never met.

Followed, and ended by the latest 5% Bundy, 95% green lemonade flounce:

Ta ta….

Get your own house in order before laying into anyone else, big fella.

Apparently the price of Fanta is up by 94%.
Not exactly a staple and wonder about why, I remember talking to someone in the soft drink trade many years ago who told me it’s extremely cheap to manufacture and the profit margin was high.
Energy costs? Sugar prices through the roof?
cost of groceries soars at woolworths and coles, whopping, massive

Salvatore, Understaffed & Overworked Martyr to Govt Covid Stupidity

Apparently the price of Fanta is up by 94%.

Rosie, it may well be the cost of the actual cans.
Over the past several months there has been a desperate shortage of canned beer, with it not being available at all at times.
Canned beer (most brands) is rationed, & has been for quite some time (when it is available at all, that is)

That article mentions soft drink up by 50+% with canned soft drink up by 70% – 90%.
Could also be issues with staff shortages – dunno if Coca-Cola have a vaxx mandate (some of the other stuff they do makes it easy to believe they’d vaxx mandate faster than Dan could say “fellate me”)

Sal, no sign of rationing of canned beer in these parts. I went into the coolroom of our local Dan Murphys recently and it was stacked to the ceiling.

There’s no shortage of canned beer. Perhaps there’s a shortage of Struths prepared to make the trip to the malaria soaked regions delievering beer to beer-bellies on legs.

“Desparate shortage”, lol.

Driller, is such a dishonest attention seeking drama queen.

Salvatore, Understaffed & Overworked Martyr to Govt Covid Stupidity

Sal, no sign of rationing of canned beer in these parts.

It’d be unnoticed by the punters.
However there’s a limit (i.e. ration) on how many retailer may buy from a wholesaler.

Woolworths may have lots of pull, however they can’t make cans – there’s signs of the Woolies pub here experiencing the same delicate can issues as anybody else.

Salvatore, Understaffed & Overworked Martyr to Govt Covid Stupidity

There’s no shortage of canned beer.

Yes there is.
Stay in your lane.

Pleased to report no shortage of Woodstock cans.

A large quantity of Woodstock cans in stock at bottlos may merely be signally that your town has fewer bogans than the bottlo anticipated.

Debelle joining Fortescue is more about his multi year frustrations with RBA policy.
Regardless what is said publicly or officially, he has been at loggerheads with Lowe & others internally.
The final straw was last year when the hedge fund community took on the RBA & their yield curve control/targeting.
It took two weeks to break the RBA.
He just couldn’t believe the RBA was saying YCC was set in stone publicly, repeatedly but then turned and ran in less than a month.

Right now, Lowe is saying Australian official rates are staying at 0.1% for the rest of 2022.
But money markets are factoring in 1% by Christmas.
Before anyone says who gives a shit about 1% interest rates, that’s not the point.

The key issue when you have a central bank preaching their policy stance publicly & markets literally disregarding what they say is not a good place to be.
