”I had to have the jab to keep me job coz I is special”

Wrong.

I had to have the jabs plural because Uncle Marx McGowan made it all but impossible for almost the entire working population of WA if they did not.

Thank heavens you live in Queensland where that dictate was only ever haphazardly enforced amongst some groups and professions. And quickly dumped in the face of public discontent and statistical reality.

Some ReSiStAnCe hero you are. In WA, you’d maybe have some legitimacy about your bullshit.

You’d also have gone full Bird on Day One…

Bons at 2.21:

It has been a couple of years since I’ve been in the UK, I had largely forgotten that ‘Nanny’ intrudes into every aspect of daily life.

This was brought up the other day, after someone asked if there was a bigger nanny state than the one currently operating in this wide brown land. The realistic answer is that almost everywhere is a bigger shit pit and/or nanny state than Australia, despite the colossal arrogance and dictatorial attitude of its leaders (and police forces) over the last couple of years.

No matter what you’re doing – unless you go well out of your way to attract attention, the jacks will generally not touch you. Nobody gets shot in the street* by ‘authorities’ for voicing a political opinion other than the approved one^. If the power goes out, very few people will freeze to death as opposed to almost everybody in quite a few other countries.

It’s generally warm(ish). Hardly anyone starves to death. We do not have tanks in the streets or cholera killing infants.

Last week when the discussion wandered back to ‘where would you go?’, very few countries were mentioned and even those came with conditions – ‘if you could put up with X and Y then country Z might be all right’.

The problem is real, though – and it’s that the place could be 100 times better than it already is if it weren’t for the mincing, incompetent fuckwits apparently doing their best to run it into the ground, like a 17 year old with keys to a Porsche Cayenne.

*Melbourne protestors with bean bag rounds excepted.
^Bosi will actually execute you for ‘political warfare’. That’s in his manifesto.

While I know this move will get mixed reviews here, it is worth mentioning.

In response to the Marxist Black Lives Matter movement, celebrated English novelist Jane Austen has been replaced in a literature course by African American writer Toni Morrison in order to further the “decolonisation of the curriculum”.

An English module at Scotland’s Stirling University has decided to ditch Pride and Prejudice author Jane Austen in favour of left-wing poet and novelist Toni Morrison, whose works are focussed around racism against black people in the United States and who blamed Donald Trump’s presidential victory on white supremacy.

According to internal documents seen by The Telegraph, Stirling University scrapped the Sense and Sensibility writer in the lit programme in favour of Morrison in order to ensure the “decolonisation of the curriculum” and to “contribute to increased diversity”.

The nature of the course will reportedly change as well, with students taking the Special Authors module being told that “the main topics covered will include racial difference and critical race theory, gender and sexuality.”

and

Jane Austen, herself was targeted in the uproar, with a museum dedicated to honouring the author deciding to put up displays criticising her for benefiting from “Regency-era colonialism”. While Austen and her family did not own slaves or directly benefit from colonialism, the museum argued that she benefited from having access to worldly items such as sugar in her tea.

The comments below this article are interesting. They include several from people who say that they are not fans of Austen (usually preferring the Brontes) but nevertheless regard her as vastly superior to Toni Morrison. I’ve read a bit of Morrison, and while s/he (‘fraid so) is a talented and engaging writer, s/he’s no Austen or Bronte.

More significant is the blatant takeover of course content generally by those tedious ideologues. Apart from anything else, what could be more boring than them reciting their cliches about all their favourite ‘isms’ for a whole semester or year?

Funny how they picked a female author, and one who had much to say about the ridiculous social mores of the time, particularly as they affected women. She was also scathing of hypocrites in the clergy and the upper echelons of the class structure.

Feminist Columnist Claims No One Can Define What a Woman Is (Daniel Greenfield, 7 Apr)

And so we get this tedious nonsense from Monica Hesse, the Bezos paper’s “gender” columnist, author of a young adult novel, Girl in the Blue Coat, who started out as a feature writer covering royal weddings and dog shows, a professional feminist who now gets to argue against the existence of women.

I’m not paywalled on the Oz bern, but on the strength of the teaser:

The senior police officer named on Constable Zachary Rolfe’s murder indictment was like a ‘little brother’ to the grandparents of Kumanjayi Walker’s partner.

This would be the grandparents of Walker’s 15 year old girlfriend he repeatedly flogged.

Dole used to – apparently- work in Alice Springs and the surrounding communities in past years. As a green young chap the grandparents probably gave the bloke some mail on things like staying away from men and women’s ceremony, their funeral etiquette – ie, who sits where in the cars afterwards, how skin groups work with marriage and so on.

If Dole was actually indig he would have become ‘my little nephew’ or ‘my little brother’, and thus responsible for handing out coin to the grandparents. According to traditional ways, dating back several million years.

Here in Oz this week here we’ve seen “Professor” Brendan Murphy, a so called doctor of medicine, refuse to define what a woman is, saying it’s complicated. Once again – if this had been the other way around, there would be charities set up, national media campaigns and politicans falling over themselves to support support groups. The Hun:

A Mount Duneed woman who encouraged her partner to kill himself has avoided jail time after facing up to 10 years in prison.

Jessica Dixon, 27, was sentenced to a 12 month Community Corrections Order without conviction at the Geelong Magistrates Court on Thursday, following the death of former partner Tyrone Reith-Myers.

And:

Dixon, who was found guilty of using a carriage service to relentlessly abuse her partner, had previously been charged with stalking which carries a maximum penalty of ten years, however the charges were not proven.

Mr Reith-Myers received abusive messages from Dixon across a number of social media platforms and by text between December 2017 and April 2019, when he sadly took his own life.

Prosecutor Damien Hannan revealed the extent of the messages which included “you should kill yourself,” “neck yourself,” “slit your throat” and “no one wants you around”.

So he killed himself. Ms Dixon is being assessed for a community corrections order.

There’s a pic of Ms Dixon next to the piece. She’s obviously got some self-hate issues going on, as despite being seriously made up she’s a solid 4.

Her eyes are about two feet apart. Gazing into the camera, she looks like a plaice with foundation on.

Whatever Johanna, Austen wrote about what she knew, as most of the world’s best novelists do.
One of her brothers was adopted by a wealthy childless couple, something explored in another novel, another was an admiral and as she was the daughter of clergyman she also knew how that class of person interacted with those in a position to grant a living.
In fact Fanny marries Crawford’s second son who is granted such a living by his father.

Here in Oz this week here we’ve seen “Professor” Brendan Murphy, a so called doctor of medicine, refuse to define what a woman is, saying it’s complicated. We’ve recently seen the Disney Corporation proudly identify itself as “queer” and deliberately try to interfere in the governance of Florida. Today I read that Jane Austin has been cancelled.

When will this madness end?

It won’t end, it has to be finished off.

I understand people visit here at certain times and don’t read everything posted.
I keep reading people asking why is struth doing this?
Why is he behaving this way?
I have answered time and again.

Look in your own backyard.
You might deserve it.
NOOOOO….not you, the hero who took the jab so children didn’t starve.
The Truth is you’re in debt , in over your heads keeping up with the Jones’s and wouldn’t dare contemplate losing a job for your nation.
Well you are special , after all.
Let other people do it.
You’re not going to lose what you’re busy paying off.
Well , millions of people did.
This is why the hospital system is falling apart, for example.
Because thousands of Nurses did.
Actual special people.
Millions did.
And because you not only participate in this segregation for work, but also for pleasure, flashing your good Nazi passes around, going overseas on holidays (which many here said they would never do….they’re just getting the jab because they really are sacared of a virus that kills nobody) you empower our enemy and prolong our fight against them.

What I have written above is fact.
Truths.

Now, here’s old struthy here, who got mocked constantly for even mentioning the WEF, mentioning the jabs will kill and mentioning it will come with a passport.

All came true, and much more that I was trying to get through to absolute cowards lost to the propaganda….calling me a nanna killer and a tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist.
If you want to know why I’m giving you the shits, look at your own behaviour from March 2020 onwards.
It’s just all coming back to bite you on the arse.
Of course your opposed to hearing it.

The mental cases losing their shit was so over the top I left the blog for a year, only returning when the cracks started to appear, and people started seeing some of the truth.

Needless to say I felt quite ashamed of many here, and their behaviour, like Natafan (she’s always a good example of what not to be) but also ashamed of myself.
I had believed I’d been chatting for some years previous to a blog full of right wingers.
A bit silly of me.

Not people who took the very first opportunity to raise the right arm and goose step.

So, I am obviously not here to win people over.
I’m not here to make friends.
Your behaviour has been putrid and guess what………….we also told you that it wouldn’t end when you took the two jabs.

So the funny thing is, while you’ve destroyed my life and millions of other people’s lives by complying over the last two years,…and you did……if no one complied this would be over by now…… you are still going to have to resist like you should have done anyway, or allow them to jab you and your families to death.
You achieved nothing except empowering tyrants out to kill you.

So fuck you.
And then after all that you get on this blog talking about any other subject to try and forget what you have done, and get highly indignant when somebody keeps bursting your denialist bubble.

Hope that helps Gabor.

It would allay a lot of suspicions.

One point to come out was Murphy saying in 44% of the VIC aged care Covid deaths Covid was incidental and other factors were actual cause. Anybody who has been paying attention would not be surprised by that but seems the press never report it. The press reinforce the Government scare campaign.

Roberts got stuck into Murphy for not providing information to the committee despite saying he would.

One question he wants answer to is how many deaths in aged care within a month of vaccine.

Talking of scare campaign a new variant is known as Frankenstein!

Actually Johanna, Rosie is right. The younger sons of the British “upper class”, that is the aristocracy, did enter the military and clergy. That was their sole career option. There was no other option due to the nature of the primogeniture system in the British class system. The first born son inherited everything.

If we were smart about self defence (but when have we been smart lately?), we’d re-institute national service and have swiss-style model of an automatic rifle in every house.

The days when we were a culturally largely homogenous country with a generally patriotic citizenry are long gone. There are too many households where the presence of an automatic weapon would present a positive danger to the security of others for this to be contemplated (even the Swiss system doesn’t work that way, iirc).

An active, properly trained citizen’s reserve would be another matter.

When I said “there were clergy and clergy”, there was a distinct pecking order within the Church of England.

A sliding scale based on the church hierarchy, the value of patrons and “livings”, the class background of the clergyman. Just being a sprog of clergy, unless you grew up in the cathedral close, didn’t catapult you into a higher rung in the order.

But you might…just might…marry well.

After all, any insurgency you foment and support or fight against, pits exactly such folks against a professional military of some sort. Only if the insurgency is well-established and long-lasting, will you find cadres of trained and experienced fighters.

And remember, if it wasn’t Vlad Bae invading Ukraine in 2022 and the apparent consensus here was not that it was somehow entirely our (i.e. the West’s) fault that he did, none of these questions would be asked with such an underlying sense of self-flagellation.

In a resolution adopted with 513 votes to 22 and 19 abstentions on Thursday, MEPs call for additional punitive measures, including “an immediate full embargo on Russian imports of oil, coal, nuclear fuel and gas”.

This should be accompanied by a plan to ensure the EU’s security of energy supply, as well as a strategy to “roll back sanctions in case Russia takes steps towards restoring Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders and completely removes its troops from the territory of Ukraine”.

There was no other option due to the nature of the primogeniture system in the British class system. The first born son inherited everything.

Have you actually read any Jane Austen? How many characters were in line to inherit vast estates, other than the famous one? The rest of them were living on scraps and hoping for (I was going to say someone like Lizzie with a basket) to come along.

Younger sons may well have reluctantly entered the clergy or the military, but they were not the ones in Jane’s novels. The bad lot who ran away with the sister was not exactly a Guardsman.

By the amount of upticks you never get and the way they laugh at you here and at other blogs choo choo, I don’t need to respond to every insane piece of dribble you come forward with.
There’s so many people who are absolutely full of hatred for you, it’s surprising, where I just think you’re a sad, weak, dumb fuck.
A sort of irrelevence.
I was quite surprised at the amount of enemies you are accumulating with your carry on.
So carry on.

Yourself, SRR, Bird and that front-bar urger that calls itself ‘chilli’ over at the Furniture store. So many…

Other than amongst your hand-patters and sycophants, of course?

Upon the Just and Unjust fellow
But more upon the Just, because
The Unjust hath the Just’s umbrella.

An active, properly trained citizen’s reserve would be another matter.

Located in every significant centre of population, with those more isolated still formally enlisted, uniformed, and tasked to report on activities in their area. A regional surveillance force hard to bypass, except by sticking to the inhospitable regions.

PS, the armed Swiss are all trained reservists.

“Last week the female nominee to the US Supreme Court refused to define what a woman is…”

I realise this is an unpopular position, but I would at least somewhat defend her response.
It seems to me that her “no context” comment indicates she was looking at it from a judges – ie legal – PoV.
If she had said “For me personally, a woman is an adult human female, however in judgements I may make on such matters, I would need to consider the statute law in question, the arguments made, and the appropriate precedents before making a decision specific to that case”, it may have been a more accurate and explanatory response and caused less kerfuffle. I believe this is her actual thinking on the matter, and that she simply only responded in the legalistic sense on the basis that the questioners apparently wanted to know how she might rule, or what her legal opinion was.

As to the others you cite Cassie – there is no defense for these, or at least none that I have seen that I find convincing or even cogent.

Royalty! I hope she knows where Australia is.

Incoming US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy questioned on Chinese influence in the Indo-Pacific region (8 Apr)

Incoming US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy has struggled to answer a series of questions during a hearing at the [US] Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Ms Kennedy was grilled by both Democrats and Republicans with the focus relating to the rise of China in the Indo-Pacific region.

She conceded she was not across the detail of the latest defence deal China made with the Solomon Islands.

“Obviously I am not fully read in on that,” she told the hearing on Thursday.

“If confirmed I look forward to learning more about the details of that partnership.”

That’s ok, her dad had trouble with island nations too. I hope one of the Republicans asks her to define what the word “woman” means.

The British army was much more rigid in terms of class structure.

Purchase of commissions wasn’t abolished until late in the 19th Century, that helped enforce the class structure.

Caught up with a friend who is restoring a Mini Cooper the other day. It’s a later model, and he’s not a purist – as I found out when he showed me his latest addition.

The rear lights have mirror images of the Union Jack embedded. When they light up, you see the Union Jack. Kewl!

It is currently black, but I think I may have convinced him that the only proper colour is British Racing Green.

Brislurker. It’s grooming. Plain and simple.

The “teacher” has become the toothless old perv in a dust coat behind the portables. Or the ingratiating scout master, or the unspeakably evil “youth leader”.

It is no longer a respectable profession.

With a cream roof?

When I was at uni there was someone in Redfern who had a Mini with stuck on fake bricks on the sides and plastic grass on the roof. It looked really good. The fake brick cladding was a fad at the time, used for making walls of fibro houses look a little less ghastly.

But he’s not illegible to run for President.
So why would he give a campaign speech?

Robert Malone is suing the New York Times for an extraordinary attack on his credentials, arguing that they are defamatory and false(sorry, writing in IPad & don’t have the link at hand).

It is interesting that the article defended the authorities by claiming that the vaccine development was a “data driven” corrective process according to scientific practice – or words to that effect. Besides this statement being quite inaccurate, it tells me that the authorities & their enforcers are beginning to become very defensive.

The problem with Malone is that he’s upped his credentials a lot more than warranted. He claims to be the person who invented the new style vax platform. It doesn’t appear to be entirely true. He was part of a number of folks who did the work. There is lots of research where he’s cited but he’s not the only one. Having said that, I don’t know what the NYTimes has said about him.

That’s a rather different way of going about things, Bruce.

Given the original Mini is about the size of a large planter box, I guess the concept works quite well. 🙂

” Might I be so bold as to ask what you are here for, if it is not to win people over? Is abusing your opponents somehow therapeutic? What?

Gabor just answered your question.
It has no argument so just dismisses me as a fruit cake.”

Well, you aren’t trying to convince people – said so yourself.
You don’t want anyone who disagrees with the mandates but had the jab anyway to be an ally – you said that yourself too.

So it seems that you are only here to parade your victimhood as a virtue, abuse those you think caused it, or abetted it or whatever, and tell us all how we are soon to die or be stuck under the thumb of some authoritarian.

“Poor widdle ol’ me – look what you did to me, when I was so brave and virtuous and all. This is the price you’ll pay.”

Of course, you’re more than welcome to advise your own take on why you are here, but you apparently don’t want to do that either.

Seems to me that you’re just throwing shit hither and yon to see where it sticks, and trying to land on the spots where it does stick.
Taking what anyone says in the worst possible light and as a personal insult to you, while your own insults thrown profusely at all and sundry are “facts” and “the truth”.
That because the entire world doesn’t revolve around you, you came to a place where you thought you might get sympathy, and when it wasn’t forthcoming from all and sundry at the level you feel you deserve, you had – and continue to have – your tantrum and attempt to extract your revenge for such slights.
Which IMO in no way reflects well on you, nor helps your cause, whatever it may be.
