  1. Good to see the covid ivermectin drums still beating.
Even Victoria hasn’t mandated universal boosters.
    It’s omicron.
If a 92 year old who’s been confined to a wheelchair for six years can ‘beat it’ the stories of I took this and that are somewhat ludicrous.

A near universal feature of most recent war movies. Such an obvious error, maybe they can’t get the dramatic shot they want any more realistically.

  3. Tintarella 6.40 “Petersens Cathy Newmans “so what you are saying”interview struck a chord in me and perhaps a lot of others at the contemptability of our own Cathy Newmans who to my mind are far worse .The promotion by Their ABC of some of the most unpleasant supercilious self satisfied and abhorrent women and their method of interviewing non conformists and their interference in election propaganda are rewarded with even higher salaries and greater promotion. Thank you Jorden Petersen.

  4. TheirABC is worried about the fact that scrutineers from nasty extreme right wing parties are going to be present at the counting of votes. Why the presence of scrutineers is suddenly a Bad Thing is never explained:

The AEC is also being warned of a possible influx of scrutineers being recruited by “freedom parties” and advocacy groups linked to Australia’s anti-lockdown movement to challenge vote counting at the federal election.

Fuelled by conspiracy theories about voter fraud, teams of volunteers are attending training and gearing up to monitor vote counting on polling day.

  6. Turkey is not in the EU, only in NATO and it’s highly unlikely that they are ever will be admitted.

Au contraire, there are powerful forces seeking to admit Turkey into the EU, notably Chermany, which has a substantial Turkish population. The EU has thrown large amounts of money at Turkey in the past, after Turkey threatened to open the floodgates of ‘refugees’ within their borders and let them into the EU to collect welfare.

Bloody Europe, always fomenting wars and trying to drag everyone else in. Always trying to create empires which fall apart for predictable reasons.

When you look at the tangled web of alliances that led to WWI, the sense of deja vu is unmistakeable. Here we go again. So what are they doing? Just as they’ve always done, creating new agreements across each other until the whole thing is an impenetrable funnel web spider hole, with only one entry or exit.

If it happens, I hope that not one Australian drop of blood is expended this time.

I was first summoned from inattentive normie sleep in 2015, when Angela Merkel opened the German borders to mass third-world immigration. It was an intensely strange moment. Weeks upon weeks of clearly manufactured media hysteria culminated in people of all political persuasions donating money and clothes to notional Syrian refugees and joining welcome parties at train stations. There they encountered primarily fighting-age men from across the Middle East and Africa, a far cry from the crowds of Syrian women and children and “doctors” that the media had promised. These refugees, supported by taxpayers and unleashed upon the indigenous population of Europe, behaved after the pattern of invaders across history. The press and government officials studiously hid the details of their conduct until the mass sexual assaults perpetrated at Cologne on Silvesternacht 2015/16 overwhelmed even the propaganda capacities of German state media.

    Read on.

Giant global asset managers have $82 billion in coal projects, $468 billion in oil and gas
    PUBLISHED WED, APR 20 2022

    Catherine Clifford

Giant global asset managers are still dumping tens of billions of dollars into new coal projects and hundreds of billions of dollars into major oil and gas companies.

That’s according to a report out Wednesday from Reclaim Finance, an organization disclosing financial sector investments in fossil fuels.

The report, titled “The Asset Managers Fueling Climate Chaos,” found that collectively 30 asset managers have $82 billion in companies developing new coal projects and $468 billion in 12 major oil and gas companies.

“Is the asset management industry changing its investment practices in line with climate science, reducing investments in coal, oil, or gas expansion? Unfortunately, the answer is an emphatic ‘no,’” Lara Cuvelier of Reclaim Finance said in a statement released alongside the report. “Leading asset managers are kicking the can down the road without even asking companies to stop worsening the climate crisis.”

The cheapest brick freestanding home in Penrith I looked at yesterday is selling for 849k.

I don’t think people want to be anti natalist and live in dog boxes.

However, the choice has been made for them.

If you sock away 300-400 pw for ten+ years after graduation or trade school, the average age of first home buyers starts to make sense.

To even qualify for a loan at 3% for 30 years from a major bank for that home with a minimal deposit (say, 5% plus 3% of gifts and subsidies), you need to be basically making $130k p.a.

  12. A massive crater in my life this morning.

The outside TV has not completely shit itself, but is on the way out. From the look of it, a bird or something’s powered into the bottom left corner at some point yesterday, and now there’s the sinister picture fading in waves across the screen. Faded to black a couple of times last night (and again, as I type, just now).

I tried everything. Reset it, recabled, Googled. Everything TV medicine had to offer, I offered. Five years we were together, sitting under the verandah with a front row seat to life. Baking heat. Torrential rain. Lightning, and lots of it. Cyclones. The lot. Now it’s just sound without fury, but still signifying nothing.

Of course, if I took it to hospital the evil doctors there would kill it with their fake medicine and salt deprivation.

    10
  13. KD, definitely don’t take it to hospital, especially Emergency.

    You see those skeletons?

  15. On the upside, the TV’s demise did spark a convo between the son and heir and I on the relative merits of buying versus renting items such as larger TVs in this day and age.

Right now the poor thing’s full bleck again, but still putting out perfect sound. It knows it’s gorn, but by Christ it’s going out with its boots on. The subtext is clear:

    ‘I’m not quite dead yet’

‘I don’t want to go on the cart’

Don’t forget that you need to have saved for the stamp duty and money for the transfers upfront as well. On that cheapest house in Penriff, you have to pony up another 36+ k to give the government, add in a few k for your conveyancer and search fees and you are looking at having to save another 40k on top of the deposit.

Former M16 chief backs claims Vladimir Putin is in poor health following reports president is ‘very ill with blood cancer’ (Sky News, 16 May)

A former British spy who alleged Russian interference in the 2016 US election campaign has backed claims Russian President Vladimir Putin is suffering from a serious illness.

Christopher Steele, who ran the Russian desk at M16 in London between 2006 and 2009, said Mr Putin’s illness is “part of the equation” of what is happening to Ukraine.

“Certainly, from what we’re hearing from sources in Russia and elsewhere, is that Putin is, in fact, quite seriously ill,” he told Sky News on Sunday.

You would think by now that Sky would have learned not to quote Christopher Steele about anything, let alone something Wussian.

What is it about the righty media that causes them to be sucked down the rabbithole along with the likes of CNN? Is there no media outlet that can sustain a conservative right wing outlook?

  20. A couple of observations on posts from last night.

Lizzie wrote something about “chalking up 200 birds in one year” at last something about a modern Casanova, but it was about real birds, disappointing.

Emu farms, my brother ran an emu farm in Tassie in the late 90’s, the owner established it as a practice farm and intended to convert it to an ostrich farm once it was established. My brother actually got it making a small profit, the oil and skin were fairly easy to sell but you need to sell everything and the market for the meat was small. On top of that he had to get a local abattoir to establish a section for the emus as they required different handling and techniques. Then after starting with nothing and getting it going he came back from town one day and there was a ‘For Sale’ sign on the gate. The owner changed his mind about farming and without even telling my brother put it on the market.

My brother tried to buy it but couldn’t get the finance. It sold quick and he was left with 200 or more emus he couldn’t sell and so shot the lot and buried them in a gully up the back. Broke his heart it did.

One of the cases was that of a successful woman who had committed suicide. Whodunnit? Right?

Well they gave the game away when they assayed her room for clues and came across photos of her with famous people – turns out she was a newspaper editor. There was a photo of her with Nelson Mandela, and one with Bill Clinton, and…never mind. Crime solved.

  22. On Saturday night there’ll be a change of government. As bad as Morrison and co. are, Albanese and his merrie mediocrities will be worse, far worse. This morning I’ve just read that Princess Allegra is on track to beat Sharma here in Wentworth. Whilst I’m sceptical of polls, I won’t be surprised if this happens, the Liberals have brought this on themselves, they’ve spent the last decade feeding the progressive crocodile in the hope of keeping it at bay but all it’s done is make the progressive crocodile hungrier. On Saturday night the crocodile will come for its pudding. But I digress, we must hope and pray that the senate is controlled by minor right of centre parties so that there is some form of circuit breaker in order to minimise the damage. The damage the Greens and the smug selfish band of despicable Teals will do to this country cannot be underestimated. I don’t know whether we should hope Labor wins a majority in its own right so that it doesn’t have to enter into unholy matrimony with the Greens and the Teals, or that it’s a hung parliament. However if it is a hung parliament then Labor will horse trade with the the Greens and Teals and this country will be on a trajectory towards disaster.

We need to keep the princesses from Wentworth, Kooyong, Goldstein etc away from power and then pray that the people’s judgment will drive these hideous fakes into a cellar of oblivion, just like the one in Ekaterinburg.

A phobia is an uncontrollable, irrational, and lasting fear of a certain object, situation, or activity. This fear can be so overwhelming that a person may go to great lengths to avoid the source of this fear. One response can be a panic attack. This is a sudden, intense fear that lasts for several minutes.

  25. I drove back to Sydney from Mudgee yesterday.
I was pleasantly surprised on one stretch of road when a truck pulled onto the shoulder at let a bunch of cars past (including myself).
I was shocked on two occasions between Mudgee & Katoomba someone was doing 70km/h in a 100 zone.
Thank goodness there were ample overtaking lanes.
    That’s how accidents happen.
    Boomers on both occasions.

  27. I was shocked on two occasions between Mudgee & Katoomba someone was doing 70km/h in a 100 zone.

I have found that a lot of people who drive below the speed limit will speed up when they get to where there are overtaking lanes – they feel safer when there is more road I suspect and subconsciously speed up.

What is annoying and unforgivable is when you are stuck in a queue of cars and the overtaking lane appears the first car will only overtake at the speed limit and it takes them so long to overtake that only a couple of cars get past. So you must wait for another (or perhaps even another) opportunity to overtake.

FMD.. they didn’t factor in the differential cost of having a roof over your head ?

  35. Another gorgeous autumn sunrise here today. No wind, trees everywhere red and yellow and pale green.

Unlike politically correct Canberra, the city fathers and mothers of Queanbeyan realised that gumtrees are messmaking widowmakers. In the main street we have lots of native grasses, camellias, azaleas and crepe myrtles pruned by the people who brought you the Black Knight. It’s a mishmash, to be sure. But, in this old country town there are many elderly European trees, and the main park is at the point where some of them need to be removed, which is now verboten until somebody is killed.

There are little plaques in the footpath dedicated to locals of note. Needless to say, there is one to George Lazenby. 🙂

It’s a very multicultural town, and yesterday on the way to the mall I saw this small brown person with tightly wound hair, instantly recognisable as from PNG.

Winter is coming. I get that the EnZed crowd are used to chilly temps.

Why would someone from PNG be here?

One of my past jobs was as an accident investigator at Adelaide University. Sadly, Roys crash has a familiar pattern: single vehicle rollover at night, so theres a fair chance its alcohol involved. In addition, it looks pretty survivable (roofline still largely up) and the ‘first on scene’ report says that he was ‘face down out of the vehicle’, which also points to failure to wear a seatbelt… 🙁

Yep, yet another example of stupid government enforcement actually exacerbating the problem. I recently wound the Landcruiser up to 130km/h to pass a B Double in the bush when I noticed a ‘suspiciously parked’ van up ahead. Knowing this would trigger a ‘sorry sunshine, the speed limit is the speed limit’ response if snapped, I was forced to slow to the speed limit and spend and extra 30 seconds on the wrong side of the road, alongside the B Double, until I passed the camera and could then continue the overtake – idiots!

  44. Violent brawl in remote Top End community
    Aaron BunchAAP

Wadeye is one of the largest Aboriginal communities in the NT, home to 22 clans.

A brawl involving hundreds of armed people has erupted in a remote Northern Territory Indigenous community as a violent feud between rival clans rolls on.

About 300 people were involved in the melee in Wadeye, 400km southwest of Darwin, late on Sunday, police say.

Various blunt and edged weapons were used during the fighting at the community’s oval. A 26-year-old man suffered a non-life threatening arm injury and rocks were thrown at police vehicles.

The latest bout of civil unrest in the town of about 3000 people started about three months ago.

Since then, one man has died, after reportedly being speared in the head, and others have been seriously injured. About 100, or a quarter, of all homes in Wadeye have been damaged or destroyed.

Up to 500 people were forced from their homes several weeks ago during the peak of the violence, many into bush camps without shelter.

Wadeye is one of the largest Aboriginal communities in the NT and home to 22 clans and seven language groups.

The community is located in the second-most disadvantaged region in Australia, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

A 2019 survey found 57 out of 400 homes in Wadeye were seriously overcrowded, some with more than 20 occupants.

Historic tensions between clans is said to have caused the unrest in Wadeye, formerly known as Port Keats.

It was established as a Catholic mission in 1935 after traditional owners in the area murdered three Japanese fishermen.

Recognition in the Constitution, and a “Voice” in Parliament will solve all the problems, surely?

Labor MP Kristina Keneally’s primary vote is collapsing in her NSW seat of Fowler according to new polling that has revealed voters in her electorate are turning to independent candidate Dai Le.

According to research conducted by Laidlaw Campaigns and Counsel, Ms Keneally’s primary vote has collapsed by nearly 13 points to 42 per cent, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Posters and pamphlets accusing Kristina Keaneally’s home of not being in the electorate of Fowler have been circulating around the area. Pictiure: Supplied

The poll suggests that the current two-party preferred state of play in Fowler gives Ms Keneally 45 per cent of the vote and Ms Le 38 per cent, making the seat too close to call.

Among voters who were familiar with both candidates, Ms Le had a net favourable rating of +18 per cent, with 28 per cent of participants feeling positively towards her versus 10 per cent with a negative view.

Ms Keneally, however, was found to have a negative favourability rating of -6 per cent – 30 per cent of participants feeling unfavourably towards her.

The news comes as opposition leader Anthony Albanese prepares to visit the seat on Wednesday.

Yeah…nah. I don’t think much of Morrison and the Liberals but, sorry, I don’t buy into the bullshit progressive spiel outlined in the essay you’ve posted a link to. In fact, having just read the turgid, supercilious and rather scurrilous piece, it makes me like Morrison somewhat. And I doubt the author of the piece would malign a politicians’s Muslim faith the same way he’s maligned Morrison’s Pentecostalism…..which might be a kind of supermarket Christianity but the plain fact is that it isn’t as threatening as Islam.

  52. I did suggest that to one millennial, complaining about the cost of urban housing. “Oh, no, we need art and culture, and we have to mix with our peer group..”

    xactly..

On ‘what first home buyers think of the super proposal’.. I found this gem of self-entitlement and perceived oppression.. What a bag of fun to work with this lady would be.

Aspiring Sydney home owner Yatha Jain said the policy was not helpful to her as it would drive up property prices and leave her poorer in retirement.

“Firstly, it doesn’t really address the issue of affordable housing because it will make prices increase, and secondly, the impact on my super, as a young person, as a woman, as a woman of colour, we traditionally have less super when we retire – it will perpetuate that cycle,” the 25-year-old said.

The graduate, who works in the medical device industry and rents in Newtown, said she would rather the federal government commit to increasing supply instead.

To be fair (c/ Letterkenny), she does end with the sensible suggestion that it is a supply-side problem.

    3
  53. I should also add that for all Morrison’s faults, he doesn’t go round proudly proclaiming “I fight Tories, that’s what I do” and he hasn’t screamed at a woman in parliament “smash her….smash her”….and unlike Albanese, Morrison doesn’t have a history of talking lies about the sole Jewish state on the planet.

Morrison might be a grub but Albanese is a bigger grub.

Oh and which reminds me…who, when in London, likes to catch up and have his picture taken with a notorious racist? Here’s a clue, it isn’t Morrison.

Their “modelling” is flat out garbage. Stupid dishonest shills running interference for the unions’ superannuation racket. Been interesting but entirely unsurprising watching all the usual suspects squawking hysterically about people being able to get some early access to their superannuation.

You know who I’m talking about, like Nobody’s Girl did a few weeks ago. This is the same Nobody’s Girl who declared a few years ago that the Catholic Church was “a failing and decaying institution”, the same Nobody’s Girl who declared on the luvvie Q&A back in 2019 that “she’d lost faith in the institution of the Catholic Church and that she mourned the loss of her faith community” and this is the same Nobody’s Girl who wrote a piece in The Malcolm Guardian declaring that Catholicism had done more damage to Australia than Islam.

To even qualify for a loan at 3% for 30 years from a major bank for that home with a minimal deposit (say, 5% plus 3% of gifts and subsidies), you need to be basically making $130k p.a.

Sydney Harbour working activities are profiled on a show whose name I’ve forgotten. One such activity is the work of fisheries inspectors who were shown boarding a returning trawler in order to check for illegal fish sizes.
At sea they found one undersized fish, so it’s full steam ahead for the Sydney Fish Markets where all 100 boxes of freshly caught fish are unloaded, sorted, inspected, measured, and approved.

As for super, it seems a fair percentage of people retire pre age pension age, spend enough of their super to become eligible for at least a part age pension.

That was my point a few days ago.
The risk to Treasury isn’t people with $2-$3 meg or more.
Typically they are pretty canny with money and unlikely to do anything irrational to get a pension.
The risk is a couple who have $500-$600k in super, and are a year or two away from OAP eligibility.
New kitchen, holiday, new furnishings etc … all to get themselves under the pension threshold of about $400k.
Before the assets test I can remember hearing of people keeping yuuuge amounts in cheque accounts to avoid earning interest and so qualify for the OAP.
They might have been better off earning interest and taking a part pension, but there was a myopic obsession about getting the full pension and benefits.

    They “left” the steel works?

Troops holed up in the last Ukrainian stronghold in the besieged port of Mariupol have begun evacuating,

    They were “evacuating”?

No, the word the ABC ought to be using, but studiously avoids using, starts with ‘s’ and ends with ‘urrender’.

I’m not pointing this out as a dunk on the Ukrainians. Their beseiged position in Mariupol was obviously unsustainable and it was only a matter of time before they had to choose between surrender or death.

It’s more to highlight the propagandistic nature of Western media coverage of the conflict; this article being a very good example of such coverage. It obfuscates the clear reality that the Ukrainian forces didn’t “leave” the steelworks. They weren’t “evacuated”. They surrendered. To the Russians. They are currently POWs, held by the Russians.

I think that, if the average person read this article and you later asked them where they thought the uninjured Ukrainian troops are at present, they’d say they are back in Ukraine.

    https://mailchi.mp/bbf1a0af6636/moral-imperative-of-sanctuary-7097601?e=5fa4245cfd

Massie explains that normally such injections would be via borrowings from international sources, but in this case came from “thin air” via the Federal Reserve – by which, I suppose, he means “the printing of money”.

I am a bit of an ignoramus re the mechanics of this public finance mechanism. I realise that our government, likewise, injected trillions of “borrowings” into people’s pockets to enable the lockdowns.

My question is – did this money actually come from borrowings, and do we actually know the source? Or do we, similarly, “print money”??????

  119. John Durham, Michael Sussman and Hillary Clinton.

    Interesting situation.

I suspect that while Durham won’t be sacked as a Special Prosecutor, he may be having his funding severely restricted, so that by the time he can indict HillBillary and Co, the statute to limitations will have run its course, and she won’t be going to gaol.
But two can play that game, as Durham appears to be showing – if he gets a whole lot of stuff that seems unrelated (or is only marginally related) to the Sussman case on the public record, he may not be able to indict HillBillary but he can certainly have enough information on the public record to allow a Republican Congress to impeach her and thereby prevent her running for President in 2024.
Now THAT would be worth seeing happen – basically, “You may avoid the legal consequences due to your political connections, but you will still be paying a price for what you did.”

  131. I’m up and down to the South Coast often. The road is windy with few passing opportunities. The number of times I see people passing too late and slow even though they have the power to pass quickly.

Dogs usually bring out the best in people and for that reason I would be loathe to take them away on the basis of carbon footprint …

If you are signing Animals Australia and PETA petitions regarding battery hens, live sheep exports, horse racing etc and you own a dog, you need to head to the hall of mirrors and take a good hard look at yourself.
Because their end game is getting rid of domestic pets.

” the first car will only overtake at the speed limit

    Slowvertaking

    Drives me crazy.”

This is why you need a ridiculously overpowered V8 for country cruising – being able to zap up to 140-160 from 80 in 3 seconds or less lets you get past the slow-pokes on even the shortest stretch of broken centre-lines, and do it safely

    You don’t need a monster V8.
Mine is just a touch over 2 litres.
    Diesel plus turbo.
I set the speed limiter warning at 130. If I put the boot into it from about 80-90, the speed limiter Bing Bong! usually goes off before I get level with the car in front.
I am sure sfw will be here shortly telling me I deserve “one with the lot”, but cops with ticket quotas tend to think like that.
The safest course of action is to spend as little time on the wrong side of the road as practicable.

Correct, which is why I would never ever give a penny to them. Same with any organisation with the words “Animal Justice” in their name.

As for Animals Australia, I find it highly ironic (or moronic) that one of their board members is Melissa Parke, former ALP member for Fremantle and recent ALP candidate for Curtin (back in 2019…..she failed). Parke is a staunch advocate for the Palestinians, an apologist for the murderous theocratic regime running Gaza and a well known Israel hater…she supports the BDS. Unlike in Israel, concern for animal welfare in Gaza and the West Bank is virtually non-existent. And given what the Pallies do at Ramadan to goats and how they slaughter them, I’ve never heard Parke condemn any of that. I suppose her outrage is selective……she is a leftist after all.

  135. Even managed to get a commemorative snap of the RAV4 in the tuart forest south of Perth from the RTA. Anyone who has driven one would realise they are comparatively rare.

If that was the tuart forest near Ludlow, you can console yourself knowing that the camera operator is now most likely suffering from either or both Ross River virus and Barmah Forest virus, both of which are endemic in that forest.

True BoN, but consider – it is now on public record that 22(?) of the emails previously claimed to be “privileged” are not so privileged, and also that the DoJ has a copy of them, even if they can’t use them in the Sussman trial (unless defense wants to dispute certain matters, which of course they won’t, being the same lawyers representing HFA and DNC – a conflict of interest that Durham has already pointed out).

However, since they are not privileged and are in the possession of DoJ, they can presumably be subpoenaed by the House or Senate and “reviewed” by those august bodies at their leisure – which the GOP could certainly do if they take control of both those houses come November.

Furthermore, if it is shown at trial that HFA (“Hillary For America”) or the DNC “created” the Steele Dossier purely as “oppo” (opposition research – which the indictment indicates Durham can show they did) and then attempted to drag the FBI and CIA into investigating Trump and others by supplying it as factual and “not from any client or company” as Sussman’s SMS to the FBI legal head says, then this is also on the official record, and even if Durham does not have the resources to collate, collect and otherwise organise an indictment prior to the statute of limitations running out, it is still usable as “evidence” in an impeachment against HRC running for President, by making her not a “fit and proper person” (or whatever the wording is) to hold such an office, or even if she manages to dodge it and becomes President – such impeachments being at the whim of the house and senate and not constrained in the same manner as the judiciary.

Durham isn’t stupid, is very methodical and IMO a patriot. If he thinks he is being set up to fail, he may be doing what he is to make sure there is a “poison pill” for the DNC and Hillary in what he actually can get done. As I said, it may mean they don’t serve any time in gaol for it, but they may still get “smashed” by it in other ways, most especially political ways. Which is rather a delicious irony, isn’t it – you use political connections to “save” yourself from gaol, but that tactic also ruins you politically if there is a sharp operator on the “other side”. And Durham is nothing if not “sharp”. So Hillary the the top DNC brass may find themselves on the “outer” with enough of the plebs to be a real problem for them personally and politically. And not just them, but also Biden and the DoJ appointees as well. Noice – couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of grubs, eh?

Still, none of it may happen for any number of reasons, not the least of which is the GOP’s resolution to “get” such people has traditionally been very low – they often seem more concerned with what the New York Slimes says about them than reality, or what their voters want. I just put it out there as my take on what may be in the works. There’s still a lot to play out yet, and much we don’t know and may never know, but the above scenario seems possible at this time.

are you sure you’re not confusing it with the lane departure warning?

  139. Lefties regard no personal sacrifice as too great, including close relatives and truth:

Robyn’s children say their mum was a “fit and healthy” 77-year-old they expected to have around for another 10 to 15 years.

She got her first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine in July 2021.

Within weeks Robyn went from doing her own shopping and loading firewood to being paralysed, relying on her children and hospital staff to hand-feed her.

She also experienced delusions and hallucinations.

“It was horrendous, like torture,” her daughter Jo said.

“It was watching your world suffer … she suffered so much.”

She died in hospital on September 5 last year, leaving four children, six grandchildren and three cats.

The cause of death listed on her death certificate is “Guillain-Barre syndrome in the setting of recent AstraZeneca vaccination”.

The kids are cool with it, the Greater Good and so on. Jerks.

Robyn’s four children, Kris, Kate, Jo and Ross, are all vaccinated and fully support the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

“I know the odds are very small and I believe in the vaccination program,” Ross said.

    Oh, wait:

Kate said a federal health department official has offered to put them in touch with someone from Services Australia who could help them fill out the form three times, but no help has been forthcoming.

They said they believed they were entitled to a lump sum payment of $70,680 plus funeral expenses, but they have questions about how the scheme works.

“As it reads it feels like pain and suffering for someone who died is not valued,” Ross said.

Having your cake and eating it is called to mind.
