A small group (who mentally and physically raise barriers to separate them from mainstream society) think those other people are defective because they think differently.
They feel this gives them license to lie, coerce, and abuse ordinary people in order to make them change their thoughts to theirs. Then they can be trusted to vote.
For them democracy is an obstacle which must be climbed over to achieve what they, consulting only own whims and appetites, consider justice.

I quite realise that the plan is to indoctrinate the young, but I wonder if this is truely a long term winning strategy – how many of you, when young, thought that what you were taught and perceived about “solutions” was obvious and simple? How many of those positions did you continue to hold as you got older? How many times did you see the complete failure of what you were sure would work? “Love not war”, “communism” and so on.
Sure, it may not be nice for us oldies right now and going forward, but those young-uns will see the same thing happen – inevitably. And likely quicker than we did, because the current crop of “rightness” is so completely at odds with what works in reality, the obviousness of the outcomes will be here and unavoidable much sooner. The sooner we hit rock bottom, the sooner the climb upward starts.
