Be very wary about being expected to recite a Covid Catechism every time you make a comment on the subject.

If readers here haven’t worked out how your thoughts are aligned to the vaxx by now, they either haven’t bothered to pay attention or are deliberately conning you to jump through hoops for their entertainment.

Their limbs shrivelled, they wore calipers and limped, and they were the lucky ones.
That was common. Others ended up surviving only in an iron lung, their breathing paralysed.

Rates of paralysis, mobility aids and (modern day) iron lungs are vastly vastly higher today than before the polio vax.

At least, that’s what the government says.

Here’s a question for you Lizzie. How many iron lungs were there in the US at the supposed height of the polio epidemic?

Be honest here.

Write the answer you think before you google it.

In fact, if you wanted one solitary piece of data that pretty much demolished every piece of propaganda about vaccines, I reckon this would be it. But I want to hear your delusion first.

On the trip I couldn’t believe all the local councils adding in some group’s “country” under different council signs.

As an example, on a busy road in Sydney there was one attached underneath of the local council sign promoting their Christmas Carols.

Much gushing on the teev the other night about traditional Christmas carols sung “beautifully” in some Aboriginal dialect or another.

Spare me.

Election coming up?

The Palaszczuk government has announced a suite of new measures involving youth justice legislation after Lee Lovell – the husband of Brisbane woman Emma Lovell, who died following a violent home invasion involving four minors – called for youth justice laws to be changed.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced 10 new measures with the goal of enhancing community safety.

“Today we are announcing a range of tougher penalties to address these issues involving youth crime in Queensland,” she said.

“And the time for action is now and today we are announcing our most comprehensive response to youth crime in this state.”

These measures include increasing the maximum penalty for stealing a car from 7 years to 10 years’ imprisonment, an amendment to the youth justice act requiring courts to take into account previous bail history and criminal activity when sentencing, and increased penalties for criminals who have boasted about these crimes on social media.

Read some immunology instead of making things up when you know nothing.

Brilliant!

Nobody’s ever told me to do that before.

But why don’t you help out?

What book and what page explains how natural asymptomatic infection (eg chronic hep b infection) and immunity can co-exist?

The first means harbouring a virus *increases* your future risk of disease. The second means harbouring a virus *reduces* said risk.

Logically impossible.

Head Case is a definite low calibre troll. Screetch on.

As noted already, the WW1 (Great War) vaccination program was less than widespread, and when effective in composition targeted a bacillus not the object pathogen. It had some verifiable effect in improving death rates for those vaxxed due to relieving the bacterial pneumonias. Home made remedies and snake-oil ‘vaccines’ did nothing helpful but weren’t responsible for the huge death rates. This influenza variant killed millions in all of its appearances, whether treated in any way or not, with deaths often uncounted in remote places and in countries such as China and India. Good nursing in Westernised nations did help to lower the death rate somewhat. But a drop in the bucket of all deaths. Blaming ‘vaccines’ for this epidemic is more than ridiculous; it is criminal.

Rejoice as it means that all those biological weapons labs, from unit 731 through to the present day have all been run as a massive fraud by the military industrial complex.
So cunning that every government worth the name has run some sort of biological protection/warfare program at one stage.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_biological_weapons_program
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_biological_weapons_program
When the U.S. biological warfare program ended in 1969 it had developed six mass-produced, battle-ready biological weapons in the form of agents that cause anthrax, tularemia, brucellosis, Q-fever, Venezuelan equine encephalitis virus, and botulism.[12] In addition staphylococcal enterotoxin B was produced as an incapacitating agent.[12] In addition to the agents that were ready to be used, the U.S. program conducted research into the weaponization of more than 20 other agents. They included: smallpox, EEE and WEE, AHF, Hantavirus, BHF, Lassa fever, Coronavirus,[36][failed verification] melioidosis,[36] plague, yellow fever, psittacosis, typhus, dengue fever, Rift Valley fever (RVF), CHIKV, late blight of potato, rinderpest, Newcastle disease, bird flu, and the toxin ricin.[37]

A rapidly growing measles outbreak in Columbus, Ohio — largely involving unvaccinated children — is fueling concerns among health officials that more parent resistance to routine childhood immunizations will intensify aresurgence of vaccine-preventable diseases.

Most of the 81 children infected so far are old enough to get the shots, but their parents chose not to do so, officials said, resulting in the country’s largest outbreak of the highly infectious pathogen this year.

A local Ukrainian woman Anja Konstantynova has paid tribute to Victorian man Sage O‘Donnell, 24, who was killed in battle while fighting for Ukraine.

Ms Konstantynova, a resident of the Drohobych city in Lviv, said Mr O’Donnell was among the “worthy men, sons and brothers” who fought to protect Ukraine.

“Today, the legionnaire from the unit of our friends gave his life for Ukraine,” she said in a Facebook post.

“I’ll say one thing: the best die … we are protected by worthy men, sons, brothers … what a pity … many are already protecting us from heaven.”

“Rest in peace ‘Seagull’ … Thank you for the ultimate sacrifice you made for another Country … for our Ukraine.”

Another Victorian man, Brandon Declan replied saying, “RIP my dear friend, I’ll see you again when my time comes.

Police truncheons in the Victorian era were usually about 400mm in length and made of a dense hardwood .

The length of the truncheon was such that it could be swung effectively in an enclosed space/ close quarters.
A baseball bat and the like are too long and not easily concealed.

The police attached their truncheons to their wrist in such a way that if grabbed the truncheon could be pulled away from policeman instead of the policeman being pulled into the villain.

No Lizzie. I didn’t ask you to google “immunology chronic disease”. I asked a specific question.

How can we acquire immunity to a virus if that virus infects us on a chronic basis?

The two concepts are mutually exclusive. It’s not just wrong but a category error.

Your paper never asks this question.

As far as I know I’m the only person on the planet who has.

Does harbouring a virus make us more or less susceptible to the disease supposedly caused by that virus in the future?

That’s the trillion dollar question.

If “more” then immunity is non-existent.

If “less” then chronic infection is non-existent.

So just tell me Lizzie or Dot or Monty.

I’m not entirely on board with germ theory – at rhe very least, the terrain theorists seem to be right about some things and they shouldn’t be dismissed out of hand. As is so often the case, the truth is probably somewhere between the two poles.

4 cars leave Haifa together and arrive in Tel Aviv after two hours. Explain briefly how long it would take 8 cars?

If four cars leave Haifa and arrive in Tel Aviv after two hours, it would take eight cars twice as long to make the same trip. Therefore, it would take eight cars four hours to travel from Haifa to Tel Aviv.

This is based on the assumption that all of the cars are traveling at the same speed and there are no other factors affecting their travel time, such as traffic or road conditions. If these variables were present, the travel time for the eight cars could be different from the time it took the four cars.

Dead children will be the legacy of Figures and other such loons. What he is saying may not be illegal, but it is immoral.

No, m0nty=fa, dead children will be the legacy of Fauci, the CDC, NIH, TGA, and the various other health “authorities” who unleashed an experimental, partially (and inadequately) tested (being generous) so-called vaccine on the world, and kept pushing it in the face of increasing evidence of its inadequacy and level of risk compared to the illness it is supposed to defeat.

Oh dear. I think Monty might want to disappear that comment once he knows all the details.

WaPo Uses Picture of NYC Orthodox Jews for Story About Ohio Measles Outbreak (26 Dec)

“The Washington Post has an article about a measles outbreak in Ohio. Of course, the publication tried to tie it to people hesitant about the COVID vaccine. … But the featured image. Wait wait wait! One of the photos in the article is also of a Jew in NYC in 2019. WHY.

The story is about a measles outbreak in Columbus, OH, while also mentioning an outbreak in Minnesota in a similar community. Hint: Not the Jewish community:

Some of the cases occurred in Columbus’s large Somali community, the second-largest Somali population in the United States after the Minneapolis area, Roberts said. Parents have said they “intentionally delayed” giving their children the measles vaccine because of their fear of autism, she said, despite considerable research disproving any relationship between vaccines and autism. Those fears echoed similar concerns of parents in Minnesota’s Somali community during a 2017 measles outbreak that infected 75 children, mostly unvaccinated preschool kids.”

Yep, they were muslims. I suspect they might be more concerned with vaccination turning their men infertile than the autism thing, since that is a widespread conspiracy theory in the Islamic world. On the other hand with the covid vax fertility stuff maybe our muslim friends have a point.

Monty though is looking like a shag of a rock in a lightning storm. Maybe some kind Cat will give him a paper bag to hide in.

o fault divorce radically diminishes marriage because these justifications are set aside and any or no reason/ fault is sufficient for a divorce.

it’s much worst than that, no fault easy peasy divorce gives women a strong financial incentive for dissolving a relationship while financially enslaving her poor husband. most women can earn far more in divorce than they could ever dream of by any other means. What Dover said. To expand on one of his points – no fault divorce has fundamentally changed the perspective of the married individual. Prior to, you’d made a lifetime commitment. Barring extreme or prescribed circumstances, you didn’t get to leave, so you had every incentive to make the relationship work. Now, people enter into marriages with the tacit knowledge that if the relationship doesn’t work, they can just quit it. No fault divorce has created a culture of atomised, brittle marriages that are prone to fracturing over the most trivial of matters.

The city Department of Sanitation’s goals to become carbon neutral are clashing with the limits of electric-powered vehicles.

The department aims to switch all 6,000 vehicles in its fleet from gas to electric as part of the state’s goal to reduce emissions by 2040. But city officials say they haven’t found electric garbage trucks that are powerful enough to plow snow …

Officials say previous electric trucks tested by sanitation have not lasted longer than four hours plowing snow before running out of power, and the new electric trucks will be used for trash collection but not plowing snow.

“We found that they could not plow the snow effectively – they basically conked out after four hours. We need them to go 12 hours,” Sanitation Commissioner Jessica Tisch told the City Council last month.

It’s amazing how much damage a fit male body can take. This one is from today:

British soldier ‘Rambo’ airlifted home to be ‘rebuilt’ after being shot by Russian forces (28 Dec)

Afghanistan veteran Shareef Amin has been flown up to be “rebuilt” after suffering wounds to each of his limbs from Russian fire. The 40-year-old from Bristol served two tours in Afghanistan with the British Army before joining up with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Somehow though, despite his hand “hanging off”, he managed to pull himself out of the ditch he was trapped in.

He recalled: “I pushed myself up and felt this almighty f***ing agony through my lungs, through my arm. I’m a strong boy, I’ve been using the gym for the last ten years, and I looked down and my hand was hanging off.

“All I had was my left arm. I had my belt kit around me, my body armour, everything on me. I don’t know how I got the strength to pull myself out of that f***ing ditch but I did.”

Ice Age – they Come Rapidly

COMMENT: Marty you may remember this.

When this hit upper midwest I was in middle school in San Diego. I was in the library every morning before school following this, Voyager and Viking.
I watched another rendition of this video on youtube and it cut out the portion where the chief scientist at Lamont-Doherty (Columbia) stated ice-age conditions can return inside of 10-20 years time at any time (or something like that).

REPLY: With Ice Ages, we find a similar pattern of cyclical pattern formations as we do in markets. About 2.6 million years ago, that is when the Earth entered the Pleistocene period. This was marked by an interesting cyclical pattern whereby there were these deep ice ages that came at regular 43,000-year intervals. Then about 1 million years ago, the Earth entered what is known as the Mid-Pleistocene transition period. It was here where these ice age cycles suddenly expanded from 43,000-year intervals to nearly 100,000-year cycles. The last one was about 11,000 years ago. This is not referring to the Mini-Ice Age of the 1600s.

What we do know is that there were tiny changes in Earth’s orbit. These events are known as Milankovitch cycles. They are believed to have driven the planet in and out of these ice ages. However, it is also now assumed that these Milankovitch cycles have not correlated to the sudden jump in nearly doubling the Ice Age cycle length.
Preliminary data from Antarctic Ice Core saw a transition from glacial to interglacial conditions about 430,000 years ago which is known as (Termination V). This transition into the present interglacial period needs to be looked at from intensity using our Energy Models. Scientists look at the magnitude of change in temperatures and greenhouse gases. What seems to be overlooked is the cycle of these warming periods. The interglacial stage following Termination V was quite long running the course of about 28,000 years compared to the 12,000 years period so far in the present interglacial period.

What this is warning is that an Ice Age is not entirely out of the question post-2032. I am awaiting access to the data from the 2.7 million-year core and then run it through Socrates to see if we are indeed going to see a 12,000-year interval or a doubling effect. What does appear to be likely, which explains the frozen animals in Siberia, is that we can see an Ice Age hit within less than 10 years.”

Men, don’t often want to leave a marriage, Fatboy. It’s more often the sheila. When men do leave, it’s often because the sheila has caused it to be so making the poor guy’s life insufferable.

Meanwhile, if you want an excellent weapon, suitable for a pocket or a lady’s handbag, try the yawara stick.

Fairly sure they’re illegal, at least in NSW.

Looks like a half kilo dumbell. They aren’t illegal. Should make a fairly good dent in a skull or cheekbone. And if a lady manages to cause said ‘gentleman’ to fall to the ground it should make a good pestle to turn testes into pate and have the added benefit of preventing them adding to the gene pool.

AI is really stoopid.

Or maybe it is really smart – seeding stoopidity in the minds of those who never developed smarts beyond matching the time and channel for MAFS.

You know there are people who will hear that explanation from AI and think it is the last word.

Don’t get me wrong – I would think any non-Russkie willing to fight alongside the Russkies in Ukraine is equally bonkers. It’s just not our business (as I have said right from the very beginning of the conflict).

You’re probably right about those just wanting to fight. Okay, if that’s how these guys get their kicks – whatever. I don’t think they should be lionised for their hobby if they end up coming home in pieces, though. I’m not even convinced it’s our responsibility to stitch them back together again if they still have a pulse.

You know the mandatory fuel consumption stickers that are found on the windscreens of new cars? The ultra smug Tesla owner will leave theirs on because it reads 0.0L/100km and they’re incredibly proud about that. Don’t ever enter into a conversation with such a person. They’re guaranteed to be Simon Holmes a Court-level insufferable.

I’m in the camp that humanity may not be able cope with AI. When AI is more developed, and we’ll begin to see major advances in the next 3 years, people will have to cope with reality instead of delusion. I don’t think humans are equipped to handle ultra-reality. I hope it’s not, but it could be disastrous. Musk is often warning about it. I never really understood what he was getting at as I thought he was suggesting we could be creating a deliberately malevolent sky-net. But he wasn’t. I think he was alluding to the points I mentioned above.

A comparable war was the Iran-Iraq War. Just as futile and ugly. Or the more recent Ethiopia-Eritrea War. I can’t recall a stream of guys going off to fight for any of them though, but here we are with exactly that in Ukraine and Russia. It’s human nature I guess.

Dunno about the rest of Australia, but here in WA it’s illegal to carry a knife period … unless you can satisfy the police you have a legitimate “reason” for doing so.

Working on a farm is not a “legitimate reason” to carry a pocket knife.

As a Boy Scout in the 1960s we were told to carry a pocket knife. I had big pockets so my knife was on the large size.

Myths busted in bid to increase Indigenous vote

A new push from the Australian Electoral Commission to lift the Indigenous vote ahead of the referendum on the voice has exposed a series of long-held myths that are believed to be the cause of hesitation in some remote communities.

Despite the number of eligible Indigenous Australians registered to vote rising from 75 per cent to almost 82 per cent between 2017 and 2022, there are still an estimated 101,000 Indigenous Australians of voting age who have not enrolled.

The AEC was awarded more than $63m in additional funding in the October budget to prepare for the referendum on the voice to parliament, including $16.1m to boost Indigenous enrolments.

Deputy electoral commissioner Jeff Pope, who is leading the agency’s efforts to increase Indigenous participation, said “beliefs” and “misunderstandings” were often widely held in remote Indigenous communities, dragging down the numbers.

Some older unenrolled Australians believe their fines have been accumulating and they will be forced to pay them if they enrol, he said.

“I take the opportunity every time to dispel that myth, because it’s actually quite a widely held myth, particularly in Indigenous communities.”

“Once you get on a roll, there’s no fine waiting for you,” he confirmed.

He said while the AEC accepted a valid reason for not voting in “tens of thousands of cases”, some Australians who had enrolled but failed to pay fines had been left with devastating debts.

“I have heard this in Indigenous communities where people haven’t voted for a number of elections. Those fines have accumulated … they’ve turned into debts, and those debts can end up with people losing assets,” he said.

The AEC spent $200,000 on an advertising campaign which ran on Indigenous-focused television, radio and online between late November and mid-December, advising those in remote communities that the enrolment process had been digitised and the need for formal ID had been scrapped, enabling an enrolled voter to attest for a elector instead.

However, former politician and Indigenous leader Warren Mundine said ID verification was hardly the issue, explaining that another long-held misunderstanding was the main cause for reluctance.

“I think historically there’s a lot of myths about voting,” he said. “It was 1962 (when) Aboriginal Australians had the right to vote. But the issue was that you didn’t have to vote. And I think a lot of Indigenous Australians think they don’t have the vote because we didn’t have to enrol.”

Mr Mundine, noting that Indigenous enrolment has been compulsory since 1982, said some Aboriginal people refuse to enrol because they “don’t like that they’re forced to vote”.

Money would be a good motivator. Apparently the base pay for a Blackwater contractor in Iraq was $500/day, which was a lot 20 years ago and especially when compared with what you got soldiering for Uncle Sam.

Plus you didn’t have to worry about toecutters crawling up your arse and could get away with literal murder (which is why the US used them).

I read the book Welcome To Blackwater. The shit those guys did to Iraqi civilians and were able to get away with…it’s no wonder the country dissolved into civil war.
