My limited experience of earthquakes indicates that single storey houses are relatively safe. Even in big ones, the books are knocked out of the bookshelves and the furniture is slightly redistributed.

Pity help people in highrise. The Californian big one is long overdue. It may have something to do with local weirdness.

without the connivance of the African kings and tribal chiefs, not a single slave would ever have left Africa!

I have no doubt that this is true. Think about the feasibility of entering heavily populated and quite well defended country, whilst suffering tropical diseases, nabbing a few and then trying to extract yourself back to your vessel with them in hand.

If you’re not picking the slaves up at the ports, the trade is a monumentally difficult task. Who locates the slaves and gets them to the ports? The locals of course!

Hun:

Australian football legend Barry Cable has been sued over allegations he sexually abused a teenager when he was in the prime of his career.

Cable’s identity had been suppressed by the court since 2019 but Western Australian District Court Judge Mark Herron ruled that he could be named ahead of a five-day civil trial that will start on Wednesday.

According to media reports, the woman’s legal action centres around allegations the footy identity abused her between 1968 and 1973.

It’s understood the Perth woman was in her late teens and Cable was about 30 years old.

She is also seeking damages for psychiatric harm she allegedly suffered because of sexual behaviour and harassment by Cable between 1974 and 1991.

Cable, 79, has denied all allegations and has never been charged.

The Whitehouse is claiming that there was no risk of sensitive information getting back to China from the balloon because the US Military had managed to either “jam it” or “scramble it”.

Riddle me this? Why then would the Chinese continue to navigate and hoover the balloon over military sites. There wouldn’t be much point, would there? If you are getting zero information, why continue manoeuvring the balloon and criss crossing the country?

I guess the obvious rebuttal is that it was to “send a message” to the US/Allies.

The other question I have is this. If the US military was capable of “jamming” or “scrambling” this sensitive information, then why weren’t they capable of interfering with the balloons navigation?

None of this makes any sense at all.

Which means, Steve, that the authorities would like to know if people are attempting to make it rain more in one area or another.
There is no, repeat no, evidence that any of the listed methods actually work, with perhaps cloud seeding being the exception.
I mean to say, my Landcruiser ute has the basic components to break the sound barrier.

Wrong. Evidence is aplenty. Thanks for the laugh.

I like how you said perhaps, perhaps cloud seeding?

Weather Modification Conference – Spring 2013 – Cloud Seeding Results

This video footage was shot by our community reporter – JNRreports , https://twitter.com/JNReports — this is just one part of about 10 hours of footage from this particular weather modification conference.

I (we) sent JNReports to Texas for this weather modification conference, as part of our documentary “Genetically Modified Society”.

Due to time constraints in the documentary (already at 1hr 30min), we were unable to include a lot of the data from the conferences attended.

This portion of the presentation covers Cloud Seeding operations, methods of dispersal, as well as results of past weather modification campaigns.

I probably should clarify my question. If you can prevent information from leaving the balloon, why cant you prevent information (steering/altitude) from entering the balloon? In other words “cut it adrift” and it simply goes wherever the prevailing winds send it.

The slave market in Jeddah operated well into the 20th century. I read once an account by a Pommy journo who visited around 1901 (presumably in mufti, since he survived to tell his account.) Apparently they especially liked Ethiopian ladies. I don’t know where all those poor people ended up, nor their descendants. We don’t hear much about them unfortunately.

PROPERTY crime in Alice Springs is at an all-time high and domestic violence offences in the town have almost doubled in the past three years, according to a report by the Central Australian Regional Controller.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Chief Minister Natasha Fyles tasked Dorrelle Anderson with compiling a report on alcohol-related harm in Alice Springs after the Mr Albanese visited the town last month.

Ms Anderson’s report shows the number of property offences in a 12-month period reached a new high of 8222 offences in the 12 months ending November 2022.

“This represents an increase of 82 per cent compared with the 12 months ending November 2019 and accounted for 30 per cent of total NT property offences in the last 12 months,” she wrote.

Alcohol-related domestic violence offences increased by 96.7 per cent over the same period.

“NT Police confirms that domestic violence call-outs is one of, if not, their biggest single job,” Ms Anderson wrote.

“Given the importance of getting to the victims as soon as possible, these jobs take top priority.

“Higher numbers of domestic violence offences – as recorded in Alice Springs – therefore, mean that less police are immediately available to respond to other jobs, including property offences.”

The mayor of a Northern Territory outback council has been hit with a drug driving charge for the second time in five months.

NT Police said a 42-year-old man was pulled over in Tennant Creek on Friday morning, where he returned a positive roadside test result for cannabis.

Barkly Regional Council Mayor Jeff McLaughlin told this publication he had been charged in relation to the matter.

“It was a result of a medical condition,” he said of the alleged substance. “I’m contesting all charges.”

Mr McLaughlin took several weeks of personal leave following his previous drug charges in September.

They included driving under the influence of drugs, cultivating less than a trafficable quantity of a prohibited plant, supplying less than a commercial quantity of a Schedule 2 drug, which includes cannabis and prescription drugs fentanyl and morphine, and possessing less than a commercial quantity of a Schedule 2 drug.

Deputy Mayor Dianne Stokes took over as acting mayor at the time.

Drunken family, even people that didn’t even know them, would turn up in their house and just go through their fridge, eat everything, so they’d never have food.
“They could never ever, ever, really just live a life that was about themselves, it was always people drinking at night, people drunk at night, and violence and so you never got a good night’s sleep.

This is near exactly what i was describing with my old rental clients/underclass in Feraldton.
Rancid pisswrecks using “im your relative” as a claim on the most tenuous relatives resources.

Which leads directly to people living out of servo bain maries and McDonalds deliveries as it is a forced adaption to cope.

Another old lady (ex pisswreck, trying to raise a grandaughter) used me as her “bank”. When the rental finished she kept paying money and would call when she had a big ticket item she needed to buy. Id drop around and give her a new catalogue with the money tucked in the pages so no-one else could see it. Was her way of paying for new tires for the car or other expenses she couldnt save for.
Old people like her will never be able to visit a teller machine by themselves, someone will always attach themselves for the trip to see how much nanna has in the bank to be spent.

Only 200 bn. Man is an ascetic.

It’s about re-establishment of Imperial Russia. The Tsar basically owned everything, at least technically, much like in imperial Persia at the time of Thermopylae. Putin doesn’t really care about mere money, but does want to rebuild Russia to her highest peak. Unfortunately he wasn’t as adept as Peter or Catherine and has faceplanted. The truly excellent statesmen know when to fold and rebuild, unfortunately Mr Putin is too old and probably too unwell to be able to do that, since he can’t afford the rebuild time.

I’ve wondered why he hadn’t declared himself Tsar, since I thought he could swing it five or even ten years ago. Not now of course.

‘Outsized’ would mean its not proportionate.

Outsized means in context to the historical perspective.

See above, you can’t say its outsized and then believe that it is also proportionate to the goal or not care either way.

You’re now putting in my mouth. I haven’t made references to “proportionate”. Military spending takes away resources from private consumption.

The tweet pointed out the failure of sanctions.

The tweet talked about Russian GDP and how this magically infers the sanctions have no bite. The sanctions may or may not be working but I’d love to hear how imports directly contribute to GDP when imports are subtracted from the GDP equation.

Here:

GDP = private consumption + gross private investment + government investment + government spending + (exports – imports).

I do, but the state isn’t merely concerned with citizens as consumers. Every political question doesn’t reduce to improving or increasing consumption.

How about falling consumption.

There are workers currently slapping new concrete on the front facade but I don’t think it will make much difference.

Sounds like you’re on your way to Syracuse, Rosie, which is an amazing place. They did for Athens in the Peloponnesian War.

Many really successful early city states were based near volcanoes, since the fertility of the soil could support a large population, both in total and of craftsmen. Athens is another, since the volcano of Methana is just to the southwest of the city. Of course Athens’ silver mines were stuff of legend too – they were ultimately volcanically* emplaced also.

“The lady is hardly Joseph Stalin..”

Stalin, Lenin, Trotsky, and Hitler all spent time in prison and/or exile. Many old school revolutionaries did come from impoverished backgrounds (Lenin excepted). Regardless of their putrid politics, they were brave and they took risks for their causes. They endured hardship. In the West today the revolution is being fomented by upper middle class scum, all from wealthy families, all grew up in the best suburbs, all went to tony private schools, all studying useless courses at our best universities, many are still living at home in their parent’s mansions.

Andy Ngo has investigated and unmasked a group of Antifa scum, currently running amok in Atlanta. They’re all children of privilege, bar one.

Back last September, I ran into two gormless effwits putting up posters on Oxford Street Paddington, calling for people to protest CPAC. I confronted the two shits and yes, I gave them a verbal smackdown to which their jaws suitably dropped to the floor. I then watched them scuttle back to the School of Fine Arts a few metres away. It’s isn’t the first time I’d seen far-left posters around the school but I’d noticed they only put them on a few poles near the school, they’re clearly all too effing lazy to even walk far. Revolutions require effort and hard work from their revolutionaries, alas they won’t find this among today’s young Mosman, Killara, and Rose Bay activists. Those two coddled creatures on Oxford Street weren’t interested in exerting too much physical work, no, which is why they quickly scuttled back to drink their oatmeal latte and eat their vegan muffin. These kids call themselves “activists” as long as they don’t have to expend too much activity.

The Australian wheeled out Indonesia hack Greg Sheridan to

According to Sheridan, Identity politics is the real risk in the Voice.

Here’s his sad argument:

Most Legislation affects all Australians, therefore the Voice will have a say
on Health, Education, defence Policy, etc.,
That’s undemocratic because all other Australians get to vote only once whereas those that can vote for the voice get 2 votes

It gets worserer from there, and he abuses the Liberal Party for not adopting the No position and getting reamed, but he touched on the real issue.
A successful Yes vote will give the Voice the powers that the Kings Of England once had.

Is Geoff Clark interested in International Diplomacy?

Don’t get me wrong: I think a new Tsarist Russia would work pretty well as a system of government. Better than what has been going on in a lot of places, including Oz, I have to say. One problem for Putin is I don’t think he has well established male heirs – which has always been a problem for kings and emperors. If he did have maybe he’d’ve gone that direction, since grooming a male heir seems to work reasonably well even in the 21st C. It’s something about human nature I suppose.

On the other hand I don’t think Jesus our Lord was born on either 25 Dec nor 7 Jan. But then QE2’s birthday was in April not June, which is when we had the holiday. It has to be collected by some special certified waste group.
Pure insanity.

I cut my own hair and throw the bits into the back yard. The birds take it for their nest. I’ve raised about four generations of Willy Wagtails in my locks.
They keep coming back, so it’s not killing them.

Weather modifications via radar has been going on for a while. Is it a decision maker in the BOM? Not sure to be honest. The Harold E Holt base in Exmouth has been running amok for ages. I’ve witnessed their shenanigans on the BOM radar many times.

Your f*ckwit status is confirmed.

No worries. I am also unburdened by subscription to this Armstrong-esque thief’s Gullibility Channel.

If you had watched the forecasting clip

Is it professionally edited and produced?

I did say a 7th grader could follow it

Year Seven kids follow lots of things. I’m not following a bloke who thinks the government is ‘scrubbing’ his ability to tell the Real Truth to Teh PeoPle, that the same government (here and in the US) is using laser beams to control the weather from secret bases masquerading as BOM locations, that talks a lot about predictions coming true after events that occurred instead of before, and is also a deep-diving Q fanatic.

Michael Janitch is a weedy accountant-looking character living in the northern US, and making a shit tin of cash from idiots.

Given all this, I am unsure whose ‘f*ckwit’ status is confirmed.

P.S. 6PR is the best radio station in the Western world.

UK military running out of money and ammo – media

Britain is “under-delivering” on its NATO commitments, a source told Sky News

The UK does not have enough money to fulfill its military commitments after digging deep into its stockpiles to fund and equip the Ukrainian war effort, unnamed defense sources told Sky News on Monday.

Britain’s self-defense is in jeopardy because the government is giving away critical military assets to Kiev, including tanks and artillery, sources warned, explaining that “it is no good having a small number of high-end, exquisite platforms when you have not got capacity around it.”

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak recently promised Ukraine 14 Challenger 2 main battle tanks and 30 AS90 artillery guns – the remainder of the British army’s artillery stocks – leaving the home front vulnerable, according to the sources.

While Sunak inherited a “refresh” of defense policy formulated in 2021, prioritizing investment in high-tech submarines and the development of a new fighter jet, the sources who spoke to Sky argued this plan ignores the military’s immediate needs — a lack of ammunition, artillery, and missile defense systems.

The sources said they had already urged the Treasury to add £3 billion annually to the defense budget and ease restrictions on arms procurement, but Chancellor Jeremy Hunt was playing “hard ball.”

“[The Treasury] recognize[s] the threats. They recognize the pressure defense is under from inflation, the nuclear deterrent, stockpiles, and Ukraine. But despite recognizing the threats and the pressure, they say there is no more money,” one source told Sky.

Making matters worse, the government is actually cutting the size of the military from 82,000 to 73,000 troops. London will thus only be “credibly” able to supply a brigade, numbering between 5,000 and 10,000 soldiers plus supporting equipment, to a new NATO force that would normally expect three to six times that number from a major bloc power such as the UK.

Retired General Richard Barrons warned earlier this month in an op-ed that the country’s army had been so “hollowed out by spending cuts” that it could run out of ammunition “in a busy afternoon” and was by no means prepared to withstand a “surprise attack.”

Sky’s insiders at the Ministry of Defence confirmed the military would “already run out of ammunition within a few days if called upon to fight” and warned that putting together a “modern warfighting division of some 25,000 to 30,000 troops” would take “up to ten years.”

Eyrie:

With the quality and good decision making ability of current western leaders why would anyone want to run a decapitation strike? Never interrupt the enemy when he is making a mistake. Mistakes is all the current bunch do.

Perhaps you misunderstand me – if Russia or China were to launch a decapitation strike at the US and immediately follow it up with a counterforce strike, the West would be unable to reply in time to the first. The second strike would remove any possibility of retaliation because no one would be able to order it in time to make effective.
A Russia China Coalition would then be in a position to force the stand down of the remaining Western Strategic Forces – Great Britain and France.
Game over.

She’s a bit cross-eyed. The only way to make sure she’s okay is to toss a 50 cent piece at her and see if she catches it.

She’s not going to catch anything less than a 5 oz gold bar. Get the gold out of your choppers and melt a few heirlooms and get back to me.

On this subject your are clueless. You know what, I’ll leave the subject for a while and end it with this.

This goes for 1:27:51. Probably a bit long for you. You have no idea what they can do with radar and EMF pulses.

Go watch television.

Energetic Productions

1988 lecture about Russian Directed Energy weapons, given at the World Trade Center of all places.

This video includes clips added by Mr. Bearden himself at some point in 2010, long before he passed away.

This is a miracle and a half to get confirmation on pretty much everything I discovered ON MY OWN since 2011. He even has HAARP RINGS in the video but calls them “RADAR pulses”!

Listen to the parts about Ukraine and Russia, about nuclear reactors and earthquakes. About Scalar and Cancer. About the US Embassies being attacked with EMF radio wave devices, about Russia having cures to viruses using radio waves. Making ‘viruses’ also with the same technique.

This is a magnum opus of Lt. Col Bearden. The fact that it was just sent to me after he passed away , I feel obligated to carry the torch on this.
