All time worst presidential loser Kamala Harris is set to make $20 million from a book deal, and may sign an exclusive contract with Netflix, according to a report citing a Harris insider.
Well the Netflix one might be more interesting that the stuff Sparkles and Spare have been producing. The latest is that they are doing a cooking show.
Netflix may axe Meghan Markle’s forthcoming cookery series before it even airs, a source reported to be a company insider has claimed.
This after their polo documentary bombed bigly. Why does Netflix back these people? Ah well if they need another one there’s always Mz Raygun. I’m sure she’d be willing to do a doco on breakdancing, or for that matter, anything. Anything at all.

This 12 minute clip from a retired Navy Seal on his own personal experience with Dan Crenshaw is mind boggling. If there is any justice in this world it is also the end of his career.
I was a supporter of Crenshaw when he first arrived on the scene, but evidence kept piling up that he was a bit politically dodgy.
I guess that’s a nail in the coffin.
As Eddie said, being an XYZ and being wounded doesn’t mean you are good people, it just means you were an XYZ and were wounded.

How vengeful Jill Biden is urging ‘depressed’ Joe to ‘burn the whole thing down’ in their final days… with Obama, Kamala and Pelosi at the top of her ‘naughty list’
Actually, it’s looking like the last days of the Turd Reich, with Speer sabotaging Hitlers orders.
I say “Go, you good thing!”
The more the Snoozer-in-Chief and the Wicked Witch drag the squealing Democrat cockroaches out into the spotlight, the better for America and the world.
Pesutto is attempting to take credit for the SFLs’ improving poll figures but the decaying Allen-Andrews state Labor regime is so on the nose with voters that Blind Freddy could win the next state election.
Tom, you have to factor in the Sicktoria syndrome. There are a lot of Vicco’s that are rustedons – like limpets – to the inept union thugs running Sictoria. They have just hiked a huge swathe of fees. levies and taxes here, which will be in the forgetery by next election.
Andrews brutalised Viccos for over a year, imprisoned them, beat up their women, incarcerated people, threw people out of work or be jabbed, destroyed livelihoods by the thousands. Still, Sictorians rewarded the thugs as droves voted him and his odious bunch back in easily. And with this clown show SFL crew with Pesutto in charge the options aren’t attractive. The whole Deeming affair stinks to the high heavens.
Sicktoria is different. And not in a good way. Which is a real shame. So, I wouldn’t be getting hopes up for a Labor loss in Vic.
You are right there Megan. Both sides are as bad. The same applies to myself having to live in Canbra. Labor green hell on wheels. I do not know where all the taxes go. There must be a huge dunny somewhere to flush that much money down.

White House Biden health cover-up blown wide open in bombshell report: Joe was senile from day one of presidency
By KATELYN CARALLE, SENIOR U.S. POLITICAL REPORTER FOR DAILYMAIL.COM and CHARLIE SPIERING, SENIOR POLITICAL REPORTER, WASHINGTON, DC
The White House tried to hide from the public Joe Biden’s rapidly diminishing mental condition for his entire presidency, according to a bombshell report.
Biden’s team hired a vocal coach, put other officials into roles usually occupied by the president, scrapped meetings on his ‘bad days’, and kept him at arm’s length him from his own Cabinet members.
An explosive investigation by The Wall Street Journal has exposed an extensive, deliberate and years-long cover-up that also saw the administration gaslighting those who dared to claim Biden’s abilities had deteriorated since he was Barack Obama’s vice president.
Despite the efforts of ‘eager beaver hand-holders’, Biden’s decline became increasingly obvious, especially after Special Counsel Robert Hur last year released a report depicting a forgetful and frail then-81 year old.
Hur decided not to charge Biden for keeping classified documents in his Delaware garage because he ‘would likely present himself to a jury’ as a ‘sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.’
Biden could not even repeat back to his staff lines they fed him while preparing for his interview with Hur, the Journal reported.
At the White House, Biden would also cancel important national security meetings, leaving aides to explaining to attendees that the president had ‘bad days and good days’.
A well-connected Democratic strategist confirmed to DailyMail.com that influence over Biden had been ‘concentrated by people who are not external facing,’ including his close advisors Bruce Reed, Steve Ricchetti, and Mike Donilon.
Biden’s lower-level staff have long griped that this secretive ‘triumvirate’ – also known as the ‘Biden whisperers’ – developed an outsized influence over America’s oldest ever president. As his term comes to an end, many in Washington agree that it has been hard to tell who is actually in charge of running the country.
Egregious examples of the White House cover-up included one relayed by Democratic Congressman Adam Smith
In 2021, when Smith was chair of the House Armed Services Committee, he tried desperately to get in touch with Biden ahead of the bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan that August to share his serious concerns about the plan. His attempts were rebuffed.
When 13 U.S. service members and 170 Afghans were killed, Smith criticized Biden publicly and was reprimanded by Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Biden finally called Smith to apologize which, despite his key role in Congress, was reportedly the only personal call Smith received in the president’s entire four-year term.
Close aides were also deeply worried about comparisons between Biden and his wife Jill Biden, who is eight years his junior and conducted a packed schedule that only highlighted the president’s ‘plodding’ pace and frailty, the Journal reported.
Even before his first day in the Oval Office in 2021, there were concerns that Jill’s ‘energy’ was making Biden ‘look bad’.
During his 2020 election campaign, Biden’s team sought to play down how many events Jill was holding.
And staff was worried about the comparison between President Biden and his wife Dr. Jill Biden , who is eight years his junior and held an energetic, packed schedule that only highlighted her husband’s more mild pace
And staff was worried about the comparison between President Biden and his wife Dr. Jill Biden , who is eight years his junior and held an energetic, packed schedule that only highlighted her husband’s more mild pace
By late June this year, Biden’s decline was on full display when he debated Donald Trump.
Gaffes, fumbles and blank stares from the president filled the hour-and-a-half televised event. It proved catastrophic for his campaign.
The face-off with Trump is what ultimately led the public, and even senior Democrats in Washington, to call for Biden to end his bid for reelection.
A month after the debate, Biden threw in the towel and endorsed his Vice President Kamala Harris, who Trump nonetheless defeated on November 5.
During Biden’s presidency, aides would often have to repeat cues to him at events. He was given simplistic instruction cards with detailed pointers on where to walk, sit and look.
Biden’s team even asked Hollywood studio mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg to find a voice coach to improve his wavering and fading voice. And when his voice did fail him, the team would help Biden by finding ways to avoid phone calls or public events.
Additionally, Biden was shielded by senior advisers who were put into roles that others felt the president should have occupied.
and yet they didnt 25th amendment him and swing Kamala into the role. Why not? Wasnt she up to it. If she wasnt, why did they run her for President now?
There has to be an investigation and trial into this usurpation of Presidential authority. And it needs to be followed up by savage gaol sentences, and in a couple of cases, treason charges with all the attendant punishments.
Am I just old (76) or has the world just got fully WOKE ..? When I was a kid insults/threats ect in the schoolyard were dealt with without adult help .. They refuse to think it’s about kids growing up, developing character, and a sense of responsibility for their actions.

Fiji has announced NONE of the Drinks blamed for the sickness had any POISON in them?
I want to see pathology – especially bloodwork.
After spending time in A&E with Daddy’s Princess claiming that ‘someone’ spiked her drink, then going through the amount ‘Princess’ had drunk, I’m always sceptical of drinkers – and others – claims about consumption.
“Darling, 14 Sambucca and coke is not a wise thing to consume.” (Heard in RNS A&E one night/early morning from the Registrar investigating drink spiking claim by waif in fancy dress as Pippy Longstocking.)
The targets were all used by the Houthi terrorist regime for its military activities, including fuel and oil tanks, two power plants, and eight tugboats.
The short video mainly has the tugboats being potted, which is an interesting choice of target. Right at the end it also has nice footage of a couple of F-15s being in-flight refueled at night, from a camera on the refueling aircraft.

Fiji has announced NONE of the Drinks blamed for the sickness had any POISON in them? ? Which leads to the question – what illegal drugs did these people take?
My guess is the fruit in the Pina Coladas and other drinks containing fruit. The fruit was sprayed with something nasty and was harvested too early and not properly washed. Could’ve bought at a local market.
Just a guess. The imagines of the victims I’ve seen don’t seem to fit the profile of a drug user.
Or, did they go “traditional” and “overindulge” in the consumption of perfectly legal, properly manufactured ethanol?
Additionally, if any of them were also munching pain-killers or certain other “LEGAL” pharmaceuticals, they were taking a big risk.
Quite a few perfectly legit’ pharmaceuticals SUPPRESS liver function. The consumption of alcohol at the same time is NOT recommended, for the simple reason that the liver cannot process the ethanol quickly enough; hence punters getting sh?$faced on a “few” drinks…
Also handy to know:
Quite a few “pain-killers” also suppress liver function, SOME, in sufficient quantity, do it PERMANENTLY.
Hence the popular use of bulk pain-killers for a lot of female suicides.
What NOBODY wants to talk about is the harsh reality..
The one with the existential crisis scoffs down a swag of pills and passes out. IF they are not pumped out BEFORE that point, it gets really ugly. The patient wakes up, quite some hours later, bewildered.
Sadly, by this time the pills have been fully absorbed and destroyed liver function, A nasty, painful death awaits the patient over the next few days.
That seems to me to be untrue.
NATO is fully committed to the Nuclear non- Proliferation treaty,
All NATO Allies are States Parties to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which entered into force in 1970. The NPT is the cornerstone of international efforts to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and weapons technology, and to achieve the goal of nuclear disarmament. It provides a legal framework for the nuclear weapon states to give security assurances against the use of nuclear weapons to non-nuclear weapon states that are Parties to the Treaty

Israel pounds Yemen, warns Houthis ‘we will reach you too’Agencies
2 hours ago.
Updated 1 hours ago
AFP 234 Comments.
The Israeli air force has bombarded the Yemeni capital and port cities after Houthi rebels fired a missile into central Israel, with Benjamin Netanyahu claiming the strikes were to protect “the entire world.”
The Iran-backed fighters, who control most of Yemen’s population centres, said they had fired “two specific and sensitive military targets … in the occupied Yaffa area”, referring to the Jaffa region near Tel Aviv, with “hypersonic ballistic missiles.”
Fires and damage was seen at the Hezyaz Central generating station in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on Thursday…
The Israeli Defence Forces said they had intercepted a missile but its debris damaged a school just outside the city centre.
Within an hour, Israel launched a series of air strikes across Yemen’s western coast that Houthi media said struck power stations, oil facilities and a port in Hodaidah, killing nine people and injuring others.
A second wave of air strikes struck two power stations in the capital, Sanaa, which the Houthis have held for more than a decade.
How many times do you clowns have to be told! Don’t vook with Isreal!
Israel is teaching them a lesson they will take some time to learn.
If you play Iran’s game for her, you will get the punishment, not Iran.
What Israel is doing is raising the cost to their enemy civilian population in an effort to wean them away from their government which is carrying out the Mullahs wishes.
The Houthi civilians may be cheering in the streets, but it’s a different story in the blacked out kitchens and dining rooms after the food has had to be chucked out due to lack of refrigeration.
Israel – playing the long game.
All they need is support.
Another thing: I want the Liberals to lose the May election for one simple reason. If they win, it will likely be with a very marginal majority in the lower house while being hamstrung in the Senate. It would just be another Morrison-style government. Plus, I don’t like Dutton. Let Labor win, hopefully with a minority government, and let them thoroughly mess things up.
Only then, in six years’ time, will there be a chance for the Liberals to secure a majority in both houses and actually get real things done. Hopefully, Dutton will be gone by then too. This country isn’t ready for meaningful change just yet—it needs a good, hard dose of Labor before people realize it.
Whilst I disagree with you on Dutton, I agree with you on everything else you’ve written above.
What this country cannot afford is to have a scenario where the Liberals limp across the line next year and face a hostile senate that blocks everything. Such a scenario means that having a Liberal government will be utterly pointless because the jelly-back Liberals will do nothing. We basically had that from September 2013 through to May 2022. Almost a decade of do nothing Coalition governance. You’re right, there needs to be clean out, a massive clean out, and that can only come from a electorate utterly fed up with the toxic Labor/Greens liars. Only then will there be real change.
Personally, I quite like Dutton. I guess for me and other Jews, given the Jew hatred that’s exploded in this country since October 7, I like his strong man persona and he has been vociferous in condemning the rampant Jew hatred that’s been stoked and spruiked by Sleazy, Pong, Fatso Faruqi and others. I don’t think this country can afford another three years of the Jew hating grubs, certainly Australian Jewry can’t afford the risks in re-electing these grubs…..because hear this, such is the venom directed against Australian Jews that there will be more attacks like what happened to Adass Yisrael at Ripponlea two weeks ago,
And who is there to replace Dutton? There’s no one. Besides, given the choice between Dutton and the sleazy fork tongued Jew hating grub from Grayndler, I’ll settle for Dutton. But yes, you’re right JC, things will have to get a lot lot worse before they can get any better. Such is the reality of life, sadly.
What Cassie said – Australia is the alcoholic who has to wake up one morning in the gutter with its face in a pile of vomit and blood, before it figures it has to sort itself out.

Fiji has announced NONE of the Drinks blamed for the sickness had any POISON in them?
To be clear, this was testing of the remaining liquid in bottles behind the bar, not the drinks consumed by those who fell ill. Which means some other substance caused the problem. Either other drugs or tampering with drinks either by bar staff or others.
Maybe it’s as simple as the ice.
I stayed at the Warwick 20 years ago and they used bag ice at the time because the ice machine was broken.
One bag of “bad” ice?
Also, I think I got poisoned there.
They slipped it into the 100th Fiji Gold I drank.
You can’t say that, Warwick, but I think you are on the right track here.
I am one of five sisters, we went to all-girl schools, these things sweep through. All these women were related or adjacent, symptoms appeared quickly, just weeks after the Laos/Thailand deaths. Hmmm.
Wouldn’t they have dun stomach contents toxicology tests in the hospital ..
If your claiming “poison” they (hospital) would have needed to run tests .. shirley ..?

Sir Keir Starmer’s position as Prime Minister is already on the brink as leadership rivals are circling the Labour Party’s leader, it has been claimed.
Potential alternatives to Sir Keir would be the Health Secretary, Wes Streeting, on the “Blairite” wing, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Housing Secretary, Angela Rayner, on the “soft left” of the party, it has been suggested.
The PM could be in peril, it is thought, if things do not improve for his party in the new year, and Westminster observers will be keeping a close eye on the local elections, which are due to take place in England in May.
Rearranging the deck chairs will do squat, since the problem isn’t Starmer it’s Labour’s policies. Still it is a nice opportunity to indulge in more popcorn.

Just In. Exiled Victorian Liberal MP Moira Deeming won’t be re-admitted to the parliamentary party room, with leader John Pesutto breaking a deadlocked vote.
Under the theme “Unity, Hope, and Light”, religious leaders gathered last night to support the Jewish community, which has faced vitriolic abuse and acts of terror in Sydney and Melbourne in recent weeks.
The leaders gathered at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, Waitara, welcomed by Broken Bay Bishop Anthony Randazzo and the Federal Member for Berowra, Julian Leeser.
Present were Rabbi Paul Lewin from the North Shore Synagogue; David Ossip, president of the Jewish Board of Deputies; Alex Ryvchin, co-chief executive officer of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry; and leaders from the Uniting Church, Baptist Church, Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Baha’i Community.
A party room showdown has revealed a deeply divided Victorian Liberal Party, after leader John Pesutto cast the deciding vote to prevent ousted MP Moira Deeming from being readmitted to the party.
The Victorian Liberals are finished. They need to be cremated and the ashes thrown to the wind. They are beyond repair. Whilst we here have known that for a long time, today’s decision, based on the one casting vote of the man that got them into this fiasco, confirms the party’s destruction.
The tragedy is that Victorians deserve a semi functional Liberal opposition, something they’ve been long denied, for decades actually.
As for Pesutto, I want to see him destroyed politically and financially. I don’t normally revel in people’s misfortune, but I’ll make an exception for this runt of a man.
I’m with you, Cassie. I want to see him bankrupted and thrown out of his job as a consequence. If he, and the 14 other political parasites in the party, cannot see the damage he’s done then they don’t have the political or intellectual capacity to lead Victoria out of the stinking mire into which we are being thrown
Luv the “competent” gummint involvement .. they are supplying enuf “necessaries” to keep 2 000 troops OS yet think they only have 900 there …. nothing like gummint book-keeping .. LOL!

It’s past time for some federal intervention into the VIC Libs.
True but Dutton hasn’t the guts. He sold us out over internet access, he is still a believer in the cc hoax. He is just another fkg windsock in the UNiparty. JC is right; Dutton is not our answer. Nor are the current iteration of the SFL’s. Australia needs to be shafted a lot harder by these elitist parasites before they will wake up to theft they have pulled- stealing our country from us.
I was in the US in 2012 when the gummint shutdown .. the only noticeable affect was national parks were unstaffed, tho self tours were allowed ( I had no probs getting around Gettysburg/Appomattox & several other CW “parks”) & gummint run museums/ art galleries were closed ….. Lotza gummint places were open cos the staff turned up for work regardless, .. knowing they would be re-imbursed when it was over …..
Space One was aiming to be the first private Japanese company to put a satellite into orbit with the Kairos 2 rocket, but it was not to be. After taking off around 11 a.m. local time today from Space Port Kii in Kushimoto, Wakayama Prefecture, the 59-foot-tall (18 meters) rocket began tumbling.
Space One terminated the flight some three minutes into the flight at an altitude of 62 miles (100 kilometers) after detecting anomalies in the rocket’s first-stage engines and trajectory. The rocket was carrying five satellites developed by Japanese commercial firms, high school students and a Taiwanese company.
Space is hard. I like the trajectory photo! On the other hand Elon managed to launch 3 rockets within 24 hours this week, and recovered all the boosters.
I’m no Dutton fan either (not even a Gliberal anymore, although I note Angus Taylor is finally developing some insight in his economic commentary which bodes well) but a) this has the potential to derail their electoral efforts in VIC next year & b) Vic is dragging the rest of the country down and needs a serious alternative government.
All true Roger. But is it’s real change you are after, I think a LOT more pain will be needed. Most Australians are simply looking at the Lib/Lab dynamic not revealing they are pretty much one and the same, with only shades of difference. It’s not enough to change the Govt for another weak kneed leftist shit show. Real change must include within the LNP also. Otherwise we get the Labor Lite circus.

Ze problem with the LNP is the absence of a sufficient numbers who would put the country’s interests ahead of their own.
The problem is the Liberal Party has no guiding conservative philosophy and half the SFLs in Victoria are small ‘l’ liberals — “moderates” who support radical social change.
In his post-war bubble, Sir Robert Menzies couldn’t foresee the day when the Liberal Party would be invaded by social liberals who wanted to change Australia forever by decimating its pillars in the family and free enterprise and encouraging the evils of fascism that Australians fought and died for in World War II.
The result is closet radicals like John Pesutto filling the party’s leadership vacuum.
As for Pesutto, I want to see him destroyed politically and financially. I don’t normally revel in people’s misfortune, but I’ll make an exception for this runt of a man.
Relax. There are no good guys here. It’s the feminist wing vs the effeminate wing. Who could possibly become concerned with chicks missing out on their “special places” when by law men have been denied such for decades? You want your sports and toilets back ladies? Let blokes have their clubs and workplaces back please. And also: there is no right of centre mainstream political party in Victoria. It’s just variations on the woke idiocy and vested interests.

A real leader, a man with moral clarity and sound values, would never have voted for himself this morning.
This says everything about there can be said of this nasty, bullying, ignorant, deadshit gripping onto the poisoned chalice he alone created.
Johnson is a typical conservative: gutless, conniving and even at worse a closet leftie. I despise these bastards. He produced the initial bill or rather agreed to every thing the mongrel demorats wanted. The same thing happens in Australia; the gutless lnp creep around in the woke, diseased shadow of the liars and filth. May every faux conservative get crabs, incurable itches and incontinence because they are the problem for not standing up to the stinking left.
Giuseppe Prosciutto uses his casting vote to save his sorry house sized backside.
Gee, how entirely unsurprising. The fat fool is gifted with all the self awareness of an amoeba.
“Geriatric Joe known to be senile well before 2020 election win”
Anyone with a functioning brain paying even the lightest amount of attention would have been well aware of this. The most galling aspect of the entire farce was how long it persisted.
Two signal examples of the politico/braindead bureaucrat/lamestream meeja caste playing the populace for mugs. Again.
Shame on the rest of the party room that is propping up this total farce. It highlights what happens when normal people stop participating in the political process at a grass roots level and self absorbed actors are allowed to write their own ticket.
I’ll listen to those complaining about “women’s spaces” if they preface their complaints with: “Men and women are different, and men are on average better at some things than us, therefore we need protection”.
Until then I’m not jumping into action on your behalf, because half the conversation is absent without leave.
And it makes me warm inside that I never voted for any of these craven dolts since Hawke.
Now let’s talk about how “women” are so susceptible to r-pe, sexual abuse and harassment, but consider themselves to be qualified to be combat arms troops in the military.
I remember “close with and destroy the enemy by fire and close combat” as a statement of the rifle squad mission but nothing about “make sure Pt X doesn’t get r-ped ’cause like it thinks it’s a chick”.
Radiation levels have spiked in New York City, fueling conspiracy theories that the drones terrorizing the Northeast are searching for a missing nuclear warhead. The emissions, clocked by GQ Electronics’ Geiger Counter World Map, were detected near the Bronx and Upper West Side Wednesday.
While this might be the usual Daily Mail if-it-bleeds-it-leads sort of story the other equation is that, if I wuz an Iranian with a freshly constructed nuclear device, the one place in all the planet I would want to smuggle it to would be Manhattan.
Moira Deeming has to get some financial backers and start a new conservative Teal style party, including perhaps some of the LNP who voted for her. Pesutto is a piece of shit and the creeps who voted with him are too.
Absolutely correct. Like the last election in the US, there is near unstopable pressure building up amongst conservatives for leadership.
A conservative movement is the only way to blindside the SFL lazy executives and corrupt thugs in NSW and Vic, and to a lessef extent, in QLD.
The bludger pension state SA is of course a lost cause. Addicted to Government funded circuses that make them feel important. There will never be another SFL government in SA. The SFL were the Pesutto like side of the SA uniparty. South Australians realise that an SFL govt would simply be a Liars clone, so why bother.

The New Year’s Eve fireworks in Sydney could be cancelled over safety concerns for millions of spectators amid the rail union threatening more strikes.
New South Wales Police Commissioner Karen Webb on Friday morning warned she may have to recommend the government axe the multi-million-dollar display.
The top cop stressed events across the city could be axed if police could not guarantee the safety of those who travel across the country and world to celebrate the New Year.
“I haven’t ruled out that I will recommend to government that we cancel the fireworks. It’s that serious,” Comm Webb said, amid delays and cancellations on the network.
Lady, God gave humans legs so they can walk. If the frigging rail union wants to be a pack of bastards the punters will cheerfully march home. Sheesh this woman is an idiot.
One of the reasons Greiner got away with slashing the railways was that brain-dead, strike-happy idiot Willingale who ran the train drivers’ union for far too long. The travelling public were thoroughly fed up and had zero sympathy for them.

ummary Rep. Chip Roy of Texas expressed his outrage on the House floor regarding a GOP spending bill that he believes exacerbates America’s debt crisis. He criticized his fellow Republicans for increasing the national debt rather than working towards fiscal responsibility, claiming that the bill includes significant increases in debt that contradict their campaign promises. He emphasizes the need for genuine efforts to cut spending instead of the superficial changes proposed in the legislation.
Exactly, MT. Jeff Kennett is a closet lefty like John Pesutto, is one of Pesutto’s main backers and an opponent of all the Victorian women who say they’ll never vote for the SFLs as a result of what happened today.
Kennett and Pesutto are leftwing party wreckers. The SFLs will remain in opposition as long as party wreckers control the SFLs.
The Vic SFL’s; what a cesspit of gutless craven snakes.
The SFL’s are equally responsible for Victoria’s shocking state. They caved in to Andrews, backed the covid thuggery and now this short a*sed weasel hasn’t a shred of decency to admit his wrongdoing in his treatment of Deeming. How can they possibly show themselves as a viable alternative to the thuggish ALP?
Reports are that 80ish of them are missing from Ukraine after the breakup of the USSR.
Where else would they be if someone wanted leverage?

I wholeheartedly agree with all the assessments of Pesutto here and the appalling arrangement that see him cling to his slice of position. However, I’ve heard all the talk of how it just needs to get worse and then a magic someone will intervene and clean it all up. There is no magic someone, either good people do the hard yards and join up to the liberal party in Vic to push the clowns propping this guy up, out or good people do the hard yards and set up an alternative party in victoria and push the whole party out. Pretending someone else will do it is for big government leftists.

Abbott laments Libs’ ‘contemptible failure’ to readmit Deeming
Former prime minister Tony Abbott has labelled the Victorian Liberal party room’s decision not to readmit Moira Deeming as “shameful”.
“How can someone elected as a Liberal be expelled on the basis of a lie and not be readmitted once the truth is there for all to see?” Mr Abbott wrote on X.
“Especially right before Christmas, the season of goodwill, this is a truly contemptible failure to act with honour and decency.”
Abbott has seen it all with Waffleworth and branch stuff. NSW Lieborals aren’t much better.

I don’t think Prosciutto is yuuugely wealthy and he is up for $300k damages plus an estimated $2 meg in legal fees.

Despite losing a costly defamation case to Moira Deeming, he cast the deciding vote to keep her out of the Liberal Party.
The vote on Friday morning ended in a 14-14 split, and Pesutto’s vote sealed the deal against her return.
Half of Victoria’s parliamentary Liberal Party voted to readmit Moira after her bombshell defamation win, which finally cleared her name and exposed the lies spread by Pesutto.
But despite this victory, Pesutto still ralliled against her, keeping her out and continuing to back those who betrayed her.

Pretty on-brand that Yellowstone finished with the family giving the farm away.
The ranch was sold back to the local Indian tribe for the same dollar value as purchased. It was not just given away. According to the story, the sale conditions were that land must stay in perpetuity with the tribe, untouched with no man made structures (or Indian modifications) , inaccessible to any one without the tribe’s permission. The land reverts back to nature in essence. The tribe is removing all trace of Dutton’s homesteading. To become as Dutton’s ancestors first acquired it.
The Dutton family was screwed over by one of their own in this story.

It is fair to say that we witnessed an epoch shaping event this week when the internet overturned an attempt by politicians to subvert the interests of the people with secretive, self serving and anti-democratic legislation.
Vivek and Musk’s strategy of publishing reviews of the proposed legislation and inspiring thousands of people to do the same was genius.
Parliamentary politics changed forever. All legislation can now be subject to public scrutiny and publicity. It will be fascinating to watch the blob attempt to block this new democracy.
Unfortunately, the same cannot occur in Australia. The uniparty will continue to be secretive and pass bills en mass without scrutiny. Our social media is less ubiquitous and developed, and far more liable to uniparty created censorship. The old media continues supreme and will remain so as long as it is paid for, or paid off, by Government.

Exiled Liberal MP Moira Deeming says she is “deeply disappointed” by the Victorian Liberal party room result but that it is “only a matter of time” before she returns.
“As someone who was duly elected to serve in the Liberal parliamentary party room, I am deeply disappointed by the decision by some Liberals today to continue to keep me out despite a Federal Court judge ruling that the basis for my expulsion was a lie sold to them by the Opposition Leader,” Ms Deeming said in a statement to Sky News.
Ms Deeming said Victorian Liberal leader John Pesutto had used his casting vote to prevent her readmission, “thereby effectively voting twice”, despite him having a “significant personal conflict of interest” in the outcome.
“As disappointed as I am today, I am grateful to those many Liberal MPs who voted today not just to rectify the injustice done to me by John Pesutto but to honour all the rank and file Liberals who have supported my return to the party room.

This is not advice, yada, yada, yada …
They only become taxable when you realise the gain or loss.
You will pay tax on gains, but there are discounts. For individuals, you include 50% of the gain in your taxable income. So, if you make $100k, only $50k is taxed, so the maximum effective tax rate would be around 23%, even at the maximum marginal rate.
Losses can be claimed against other income or, if you don’t have sufficient current year income, carried forward to future years and deducted against income then. Losses will not give rise to an ATO refund, in and of themselves.

Andrews brutalised Viccos for over a year, imprisoned them, beat up their women, incarcerated people, threw people out of work or be jabbed, destroyed livelihoods by the thousands.

Who wooda thought?
and yet they didnt 25th amendment him and swing Kamala into the role. Why not? Wasnt she up to it. If she wasnt, why did they run her for President now?
Answer to first question: definitely not up to o it, as proven during the election campaign.
Answer to second question: pure desperation, with a bit of O’Bummer string pulling.

Youngsters don’t usually fit the profile they project while away that they project at home while mummy and daddy can find out.
With respect to nuclear weapons:
That seems to me to be untrue.
NATO is fully committed to the Nuclear non- Proliferation treaty,
Ukraine is not listed as one of the nuclear states who can possess nuclear weapons under the NPT.
Treaties only mean something when you want them to.
Did it stop the US from putting Nukes in Turkey?

Israel pounds Yemen, warns Houthis ‘we will reach you too’Agencies

It’s dead simple.
Yemen imports the missiles by sea from Iran. Destroy the capability to handle containers full of weapons and it’s game over.
Alternatively, forget the container facilities and level the ports.
JC last night, his excellent comment….
Toxicology results should clear it all up. My view? Nothing but hysteria.
You can’t say that, Warwick, but I think you are on the right track here.
I am one of five sisters, we went to all-girl schools, these things sweep through. All these women were related or adjacent, symptoms appeared quickly, just weeks after the Laos/Thailand deaths. Hmmm.

If your claiming “poison” they (hospital) would have needed to run tests .. shirley ..?

Religious leaders gather to support Jewish community

I suppose Jews and SDAs worship on the same sabbath.
No CoE?
As expected.

Then Pesutto has the casting vote and votes to exclude her, effectively voting for himself.
Arrogant narcissist.
A free kick and a boost for the corrupt Labor party
I hope it splits the Libs. I won’t be voting for them and have cut off donations.
Names please. I don’t vote in Vic but I can influence others.
He ain’t no Jolly John Gorton, who could read the writing on the wall.
You may not have to wait long, Cassie.
What happens next is that the SFLs realise what they’ve just done and how stupid and spineless it makes them look.
I don’t think Pesutto can survive.
I suspect you are right Tom. But again we are talking about the Victoriastan Lieborals. Just more disfunction in a failed State.
Agree. A cowardly bully.
Spot on.
Well I wouldn’t say revel but I do like a good dose of karma.
I will revel, but that’s because I don’t consider myself particularly sophisticated.
Apparently, Centcom is a law onto itself.
Luv the “competent” gummint involvement .. they are supplying enuf “necessaries” to keep 2 000 troops OS yet think they only have 900 there …. nothing like gummint book-keeping .. LOL!
Yep. When Trump 45 ordered them to do stuff they ignored and disobeyed him.
It will be interesting to see what Trump 47 does about that.
CENTCOM isn’t the problem and never has been. They do what they are ordered to by their superiors, the politically appointed Secretaries.
The Secretary of Defense and Secretaries of the armed forces are and have been the problem.
A month from now this won’t be an issue.
It’s past time for some federal intervention into the VIC Libs.
But they are almost as bad, with the shadows of the NSW Branch and Photios hanging over them.
Re the salami, absolutely effing unbelievable. What a despicable deadshit.
Makka Johnson is right!

Bad pun alert: this IS rocket science.

[ period, full stop, dot ]
The problem is the Liberal Party has no guiding conservative philosophy and half the SFLs in Victoria are small ‘l’ liberals — “moderates” who support radical social change.
In his post-war bubble, Sir Robert Menzies couldn’t foresee the day when the Liberal Party would be invaded by social liberals who wanted to change Australia forever by decimating its pillars in the family and free enterprise and encouraging the evils of fascism that Australians fought and died for in World War II.
The result is closet radicals like John Pesutto filling the party’s leadership vacuum.
The salami is a really bad egg.
The new finance bill the GOP under the feckless lead of speaker Mike Johnson has been knocked back and a new Trump approved one put forward:
House Republicans strike agreement to forestall government shutdown — and Trump wants it to pass tonight
I kind of think I would agree to that, cohenite.
Giuseppe Prosciutto uses his casting vote to save his sorry house sized backside.
Gee, how entirely unsurprising. The fat fool is gifted with all the self awareness of an amoeba.
Sounds like a Tom Clancy novel.

Nah, they go for symbolism – the White House and the President.
Just run as an Independent. Liz Constable did that when the WA Lieborals tried to screw her and was our local State member for the next 20 years.
And we all know how chicks in combat roles will turn out if war comes. Either a blindingly fast reversal as abominable and shocking images of females blown to pieces start to come in, or a redefinition of “combat” to include sitting on your fat arse piloting drones a thousand miles from discomfort and danger.
Russian women did well in WW2. One of them was a leading sniper, 309 confirmed kills.

NSW Police Commissioner may recommend cancelling New Year’s fireworks amid safety concerns over ongoing rail industrial action (Sky News, 20 Dec)
Lady, God gave humans legs so they can walk. If the frigging rail union wants to be a pack of bastards the punters will cheerfully march home. Sheesh this woman is an idiot.
And Dutton voted to give this witch more power.

One of the reasons Greiner got away with slashing the railways was that brain-dead, strike-happy idiot Willingale who ran the train drivers’ union for far too long. The travelling public were thoroughly fed up and had zero sympathy for them.
If the Green left succeed in shutting down the coal industry, will these loons demand that the taxpayer keep running empty coal trains? And.will governments give in?
Chip Roy Explodes At His Fellow Republicans Over Government Funding Bill
He emphasizes the need for genuine efforts to cut spending instead of the superficial changes proposed in the legislation.

you know what, didn’t he leak pro-Moira supporter’s names to the AFR ?
maybe he should just fall on his own blade after his own skullduggery in this matter.
Kennett = part of the problem
And don’t even get me started on Kroger…
The Vic SFL’s; what a cesspit of gutless craven snakes.
The SFL’s are equally responsible for Victoria’s shocking state. They caved in to Andrews, backed the covid thuggery and now this short a*sed weasel hasn’t a shred of decency to admit his wrongdoing in his treatment of Deeming. How can they possibly show themselves as a viable alternative to the thuggish ALP?
Pretty on-brand that Yellowstone finished with the family giving the farm away. Glad I never watched that series.
Dover,
Yellowstone is worth watching just to see Beth Dutton.
Actress Kelly Reilly is outstanding.
where’s Kennett
I’ve long suspected that Kennett is part of the problem.
A lost nuke warhead in NYC smells like a false flag.
The Vic SFL’s; what a cesspit of gutless craven snakes.
Is there a list anywhere of who voted against readmitting Moira Deeming?
Apart from the unspeakable Prosciutto of course.
SFL’s is correct!
Tony Abbott weighs in…..
Nicely said, Mr Abbott.
Abbott has seen it all with Waffleworth and branch stuff. NSW Lieborals aren’t much better.
“Space is hard. I like the trajectory photo! On the other hand Elon managed to launch 3 rockets within 24 hours this week, and recovered all the boosters.”
For the information and edification of Cats:
Australian designed and manufactured antennas are used by SpaceX launch pads, and SpaceX engineering say these antennas have “held up through every launch” of their Falcon9 rocket, but “Even more impressive though, the world’s most powerful rocket, Starship, has a strong track record of absolutely destroying antennas during launch.” After trying good old Australian built ones they have “…shockingly survived two launches now!”

I haven’t either, but the series seems to’ve resonated.

It’s also nice that Kevin Costner found a script that he could make shine. He is a bit hit or miss, but he can do very well when he has something that meshes with his psyche.
An undischarged bankrupt cannot stand for Victorian Parliament. It is unclear if a sitting MP falls into bankruptcy during his/her term whether they are immediately ineligible to complete their term.
I don’t think Prosciutto is yuuugely wealthy and he is up for $300k damages plus an estimated $2 meg in legal fees.
There will be an attempt to have this paid out of LNP general funds. If this occurs and duttie doesn’t veto it the lnp is fuked.
If the SFL’S had any money it should be spent on paying Turdbull back the money he only lent them, which is the reason they can’t throw him out. That and a backbone.
Always nice when an irredeemable slimeball confirms to the whole universe that he is an irredeemable slimeball.
Quite so.
Abbott gets it, unlike the 14 plus one irredeemable slimeballs (thanks Sancho), in the Vic LNP.
What’s Christmas got to do with it? Is there a different standard of ethical behaviour ‘because it’s Christmas’ ?
Sloppy sentimentality which prevents clarity of thought.
Prosciutto is his puppet.
Or is it Prostituto?
By RayGun trying to sue a comedian who mocked her, she has established herself as a filthy Pesutto.
That’s worth at least 7 Pesuttos more than her Olympic score.
I’d put that down as a Triple Pesutto. With Oak Leaves.
So I don’t now what “brand” you are on about.
I remember Gorton cast the deciding vote against himself as a matter if principle.
No standards these days.
Meeeh – Gorton later went on to denounce the dismissal of the Whitlam Government.
The old media continues supreme and will remain so as long as it is paid for, or paid off, by Government.

a secure, reliable and affordable electricity supply including gas, nuclear, coal, hydro and limiting wind and solar to below 30%
Support of business activity and reduction of red and green tape for business and primary producers, get rid of capital gains and other extraneous costs on housing

Wait – aren’t indigenous people “fauna”? And if so, how can you separate them from “environmental issues”?
Oh, that’s right – they WERE “considered” fauna, but now they’re not, silly me.
Actually, that’s a leftard myth, they were never considered to be fauna.
Our governing masters will only speak to us when someone drives through the elites suburbs, putting .308 through the transformers.
Cronkite re Prosciutto:-
David Davis has already tried to hose that one down by emailing Victorian Liberal party members (those that are left) assuring them party funds won’t be used.
But this is what this grub is hanging out for.
They’ve got two by-elections coming up. It will be interesting if people donate after the explicit assurance was given that Prosciutto’s legals wouldn’t come out of party coffers.

Stagnation, flagging competitiveness, Donald Trump. The continent is facing “an existential challenge.”
Regarding bitcoin, a probably stupid question; if you made a very substantial profit and get it out, that is sell your coins, why do you have to pay tax on it when the government does not recognise it as a genuine investment, or am I wrong?
My accountant says there is a capital gain tax on it, is he right?
What if it comes down?
Can we claim tax credit on the loss?
Not a finance genius as you can see, just want to experiment with some spare cash.
if you get it out you pay tax on it, unless of course it were to disappear through a network of crypto washing machines.
Doing Pesutto slowly (Paywallian):
PS; I’m a part time punter and we don’t pay tax on winnings and can’t claim on the losses. Well, in a way we do pay taxes via the TAB and bookies.
Fair play there.
Sounds about right. Carried forward capital gains losses can only be offset against future capital gains no?
