No grassy knoll moments.
DJT has signed about 4,000 Executive Orders and basically undone 93.1% of Sleepy Joe’s efforts in a lazy 45 minutes between the Inorkoration and the first ball.
As for Panama, file that under “The Art of The Deal”. He is starting with a “bucket of cold water” ambit. The end game will be price control over transit fees and for Chinah to keep it’s mitts off it.

There was some other footage on Tiktok of ambulance transporting a J6er to hospital from prison.
No way to verify this.
There’s gunna be hell to pay in the federal prison system.
Some accounts on social media are claiming that when the Screws fot news of the pardon, they set about dishing out one helluva hiding to some J-6ers, going cell to cell.
This, if true, would gel with accounts of the physical & mental abuse some J-6ers have been subject to.

And so, he’s gone. Like a flushed turd that stank up the whole world.
As he leaves, Biden confirms what everyone knows. He and his family are a coven of evil corrupt perverts and deviants, pardoning his sicko family and traitorous people that have caused immense harm in the US and abroad. Proving beyond any doubt, their culpability. Even Milley- a complete disgrace to the US military.
The Demonrats- what a disgusting obscene bunch of orcs and cretins. The perfect home for the likes of the idiot m0ron.
More brilliance: Trump absolutely controlling the msm questions while he signs Executive Orders. Then we cut to him dancing with Melania and JD comes onto the stage with his wife. They then each break off to dance with members of the military.
I went to the rally this evening at Martin Place. It was really good. The whore of Wentworth’s name was mentioned and the ensuing boos and hisses were loud and vociferous. I was very happy.
And for the ABC, Lee Rhiannon is a centrist social democrat and Bob Brown a moderate conservative.

Could Trump send over someone to sort this out?
Victoria’s taxpayer-funded peak Indigenous affairs body, the First People’s Assembly, is under fire for officially calling for people to attend Australia Day protests and for calling for a date change.
Victorian Opposition Leader Brad Battin labelled the advocacy “disappointing”, as he also challenges the state premier to reveal her views.
The Assembly gathered at Collingwood in Melbourne on Tuesday morning, to urge people to sign a petition dubbed “Not a date to celebrate”, which so far has received more than 22,000 signatures.
Former Treaty Advancement Commissioner Aunty Jill Gallagher AO told reporters the date of Australia Day must change from January 26.
“We want to celebrate with you but we can’t celebrate on that date,” Dr Jill Gallagher AO told reporters.
The First People’s Assembly, which budget papers show received $82 million from the Victorian Government in 2023-24, also publicly urged people to attend rallies this weekend in support of the cause.
But Victorian Liberal Leader Brad Battin has hit out at the advocacy, saying a taxpayer funded body should not be calling for people to attend rallies or protests.
“It is very disappointing for people calling for protests including an organisation funded by the Allan Labor Government,” he told Sky News.
“It appears every protest in this state goes back to the Allan Labor Government failing to act or endorsing it.”
“The only person I’m calling out here is Jacinta Allan,” he said.
“Is she for or against Australia Day and if she doesn’t call out protests for what they are, she’s against it,” he said.
Aunty “Dr Jill Gallagher AO” . The lack of self awareness amongst these beneficiaries of civilisation is extraordinary. I tell you what Jill, we can celebrate Australia Day on another day after you hand back the pre and post-nomials granted to you by the occupying power…
“To all the people whinging about colonization, from their I phones, powered by cheap, reliable electricity, from inside a building that has constant running water, plumbing, air conditioning and all the other modern conveniences that Western civilization has provided for us all to live the most comfortable, prosperous, safe privileged lives of any humans in all of history… Kindly STFU, or go back to living the life of a Stone Age hunter gatherer…you’ll be left behind to die when the tribe moves on, and you can’t keep up…
I’m getting rather short tempered on the issue – a family of the local “activists” claim they don’t feel “included” on Australia Day. I shot one of them down in flames over the “oldest living culture” bullsh!t..
Although I think the Maltese have a very confused “identity.”
They wanna be Italians but they do all sorts of weird shit to their dishes that makes them Arabic/Italian (I can’t stand the food) and they love Land Rovers…many trying to speak with “North Ryde” Maocon accents
Trump’s slogan MAGA would suggest that the US had some deep seated problems.
I’ve visited 5 times, business and pleasure, mostly Midwest, the dying towns are a crying shame, along with the many many shanty towns of single wides, the too many no go areas for whites, the rotting inner suburbs. I travelled mostly with a local so it wasn’t seagulling, she told it like it was.
I remember belting through Ferguson of former fame on the freeway, beautiful Victorian homes, boarded up left to rot, like so many towns with dead donuts and white flight.
The US has great natural beauty and I love New York and bits of Chicago but for sheer tourist Europe is impossible to beat.
Great stroll through twitter this evening so much winning!
Trump might be governing for Americans but every policy will have world wide repercussions from defunding Unwra and WHO, to cutting immigration, kicking out hamas supporters on visas, ending DEI, back to two genders, resuming arms sales to Israel, sending water to California and soon drill baby drill.
It’s revolutionary.
Dead easy. Set an arbitrary dress standard for the particular day, or part day.
The hard part is how to target the “dress standard” to exclude Australia Day colours without actually saying so, whilst letting in everybody else.
This type of exclusion happens more often than some may realise.
There were pauses and there were also restrictions on certain types of arms. In any event, under the Trump administration, it’s open slather, which is a great thing as I’m sure you would agree. 🙂

Yeah, I reckon that ‘pause’ was a media stunt, and Trump is going to have to contend with stock depletion in the US given the wars in Gaza and Ukraine, so it would be all roughly the same.

4 years locked up without a trial?
He can thank president Trump for ending his ordeal
.
Even in Russia they might drop you from a great height if you are becoming a bothersome nuisance but not let you rot in a prison for years without a trial.
(or they can arrange a balcony railing to fail and do it to yourself)
And don’t tell me it’s more humane to keep you locked up for years with no resolution in sight with the prospect of 20 to 30 years of the same if convicted..

As always, scroll if not interested, I always do myself.
Have heard about this town but didn’t know it was a ghost town.
—————–
The Town of Tarcoola, S.A.
Hi all, by Col
No one lives there anymore, the last inhabitants moved out some time ago making it a Bonafide, Ridgy Didge, Dinky Di, Fair Dinkum Aussie Ghost Town.
I
ts not on everyone’s must visit list (which is understandable) but if you do make the effort to go there, this post will let you know what to expect.
Located along the Trans Australian Railway line, roughly 720 ks North West of Adelaide, it was there in 1893 that gold was discovered in the nearby hills. When word got out a rush was on with a goldfield soon developing, it had to be given a name and then right out of the blue, one presented itself, in an unusual way.
Now Aussies are known for liking a punt and the Melbourne Cup had just been run and won (only a matter of weeks after the initial discovery of Gold). The winner was called Tarcoola and one punter/gold digger had won a few bob on the “Nag” so suggested it as a lucky omen!! and that’s how the goldfields (and in time the Towns) name came about.
The horse was from Tarcoola Station located on the Darling River south of Menindee in outback N.S.W. The station was known for one other thing, it was where Bourke and Wills once camped whilst on their now infamous and fateful expedition attempting to cross the country in 1860.
A few years after the initial gold discovery, a town had started to grow near the “Goldfields” with a Post Office opening in August 1900. The town was officially proclaimed six months later with just over 2000 people living in the area.
The “Tarcoola Goldfields” were at their busiest between the years of 1900 to 1912. Gold was sporadically mined after that for another 40 years or so with nearly 2400 kgs of gold being extracted over that period (seems an incredible amount from an area that nearly all have never heard of!!). In today’s money that equates to more than $187,000,000 worth, a nice little earner for some!!
The goldfields and associated mines have been closed for a long time now, still you would think that some nuggets surely must have been missed and able to be found.
So the town and area should possibly be put on your bucket list after all, a truly abandoned town pretty well in the middle of nowhere.

more pictures at the link.
The hospital? reminds me of a few of the remote areas I worked in – lots of rock walls, but the rest severely lacking maintenance and that which was done was just cosmetic and not really worth the bother.
Thanks.
I remember pictures of women standing on piles of destroyed buildings, collecting and cleaning the bricks after the war for rebuilding – on all the different sides, British, German, Japanese, Italian, Polish, Russian.

More here from Steyn.
Some minor officials defying Trump’s orders.
Get their names and inflict consequences. The problem with any bloated bureaucratic state is that minor functionaries start thinking like Louis XIV: L‘État, c’est moi.
This is the same here. The local stark contrast is a visit to Services NSW and its Commonwealth equivalent a few doors down. The former – they can’t do enough for you. The entry “kiosk” is staffed by happy, switched on young men who want to help.
Down the road, a different story. The walls are papered with warnings not to be abusive to staff. The only males in evidence are security guards. Two completely different public service cultures.
I have found the same thing calli. Service NSW so helpful when I was lodging documents to remove trees from my beachhouse. I rarely have interaction with Commonwealth entities, mostly ATO. They actually got shiitty when I told them their on-line forms don’t work for me. I ended up going into an office where they berated me for not using the on-line forms. When I showed them what happened it was somehow my fault. Hit and miss at ACT CONNECT. When they made a spelling mistake on data entry it was supposedly up to me to correct it. I said you have all my data on file, why do I have to prove who I am for you to correct it. I did the Karen bit. Can I speak to your manager please. Even after the manager signed off the clerk is still carrying on that its not the way to do it. Never have seen that person back there.

On those pardons…
An attempt to hide trees in a forest.
The Hunter one was got out of the way early, like a lodestone it drew attention and was an obvious counter to obvious criminality.
Then the slew of unconnected, if annoying pardons for a grab bag of people possibly not connected to Biden at all, but to the shadowy figures handling him. Some may have been several stages removed. But opportunity knocked and it was taken.
These eleventh hour ones are the biggies, particularly the family ones tucked in amongst criminals like Fauci and Cheyney. They might not face federal charges now, but state ones? Possible.
Biden has cemented himself in the history books as the first real life Corleone to sit unabashed behind the Resolute desk.
Then the slew of unconnected, if annoying pardons for a grab bag of people possibly not connected to Biden at all, but to the shadowy figures handling him
When January 6 Political Prisoner Jake Lang, who has spent 4 years and 5 days incarcerated without a trial – was packed and waiting to be released, he was brutally swarmed and assaulted inside the jail by prison guards Lt Allen & his Emergency Response Team (ERT).
I would not want to be in Lt Allen’s shoes when Trump gets hold of him.
That can’t be right. Daytime Sky news just told me the “rioters” had been convicted.
And they concentrated on the Proud Boys, not the hapless Joe Blows who entered the spider’s lair by being invited in by Capitol police. Not a word about those more egregious offenders who will have their cases reviewed. They are not off the hook.
Naturally, Pelosi’s indignant letter was referenced, along with Trump’s legal issues. The woman who had Sicknik’s body displayed under the Dome for crass political purposes. Nothing surprises about the baggage who took a knee of deference to George Floyd.
I’ve hated the meja since I was a kid because when they talked about things i had some knowledge of, it was obvious they had no understanding. Every day I see more evidence that they deserve to die.
I have read the Steyn piece about it, I have a great fear that Trump will fail, he is facing an unashamedly fearless foe in the deep swamp.
All they they have to do is wait him out and delay any and all orders.
Sorry to say, he can’t win, best he can do is defer the inevitable, all the euphoria about the inauguration will fade into memory soon enough.
Doesn’t matter who he puts in the top position, there are thousands nay, tens of thousands in the ranks who can simply stop or delay any new orders.
Anyone familiar with the public service knows this to be the case.
They have all the time and means to do it.
As always, I hope I am wrong, but history tells me otherwise.
Doesn’t matter who he puts in the top position, there are thousands nay, tens of thousands in the ranks who can simply stop or delay any new orders.
They can do that if they want Republicans to use it in their election campaigns and then win those elections. They will find that people are just fed up with such behaviour particularly now when there is a president who tells them it’s OK to be pissed off at such tactics.

Portrait of Traitor Mark Milley Removed Immediately From The Pentagon – Two Weeks After It Was Unveiled!
Milley, a former U.S. Army General who served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Donald Trump and Joe Biden, committed an act of treason in the final days of the first Trump presidency by speaking to the Chinese Foreign Minister without the permission of the commander-in-chief.
A bust of Winston Churchill’s head has been in a game of political football for over 15 years, with Democrat Presidents removing it from the Oval Office and President Trump putting it back again.
He’s also returned the flags of the branches of the U.S. armed forces which Biden had removed as well. Hopefully Vance will win in 2028 so that poor Mr Churchill gets a rest from Winston Tennis.
It wasn’t the Oval Office but and area outside it where the press asked questions while he got on with being the greatest President the US has ever seen. The wreckage caused by the demonrats is far greater than any war or the great depression.

Despite Biden Pardon, Fauci Still Faces Legal Perils. Here They Are…
“These pardons will not stop Department of Justice investigations,” said one adviser to the Trump transition team, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “We expected this and look at it as a predicate to get truth from people who can no longer use the Fifth Amendment. Now we can bring every one of them in front of a grand jury.”
Yep. Along with the pardon comes the loss of the right to not self incriminate. Biden was too clever by far, now they are going to cop a dose of the Lawfare they inflicted on others. Reaping the whirlwind etc.
Just watched a clip of a robed priestess lecturing Trump at the interfaith service in Washington.
She’s fortunate she lives in a country where you can say such things in safety. No fear of imprisonment or attack. She might like to reflect on that and rejoice in it rather than harangue a man who has been pursued relentlessly for years by his political opponents. Unlike her, in her lofty pulpit and looking down on lesser beings, he was shot at.
A reporter asked him what he thought of the service. No much, not particularly exciting was the reply.

The attack on the young Lifeguard at a pool in Victoria may be the straw that broke the back of the “men with no appearance”, garbage we are always handed.
Clear footage of the scrotes has been used and, they were even described as being of “middle eastern appearance”. woot!
Perhaps a dim light bulb went off in Vicpol’s head and thought, “hmmm, this could lead to a Cronulla confrontation if we don’t get on top of it quick smart.
Queensland Police have charged four teenagers with a string of offences, alleging they stole vehicles and broke into several homes in a crime spree that spanned over more than a dozen Brisbane suburbs between December 29 and January 15.
Body-worn footage shows police searching a home in Tingalpa, Brisbane, where they found an allegedly stolen car in the garage.
The four teenagers were arrested after police found some of them hiding in bedroom cupboards.
Their faces have been fuzzed in the photos but there’s something about them that seems…I don’t know, it is so hard to jump to conclusions and all.
This is about Muslim appropriation of public spaces. They do it at parks, sports grounds, and even kiddies playgrounds.
All part of the playbook.
You see it with the prayers across streets, in the boarding aisles of aircraft, the takeover of parks for their eternal prayer meetings.
It is religious and social intimidation and the police refuse to stop them.
But they don’t do it in their own countries – it isn’t tolerated.
If this isn’t an admission of guilt – on both sides – I’d like to know what is.
@JackPosobiec Per outgoing WH offl: “Jack Smith tried to get on the pardon list but Joe Biden turned him down. He was irate at Jack Smith and told his staff ‘he failed us. Let him suffer the consequences”

Surely most people understand that this is all bullshit?
The video “MAID: Why the Government Wants You to Kill Yourself” on the Triggernometry channel features Kelsi Sheren discussing Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program. Sheren argues that MAID has transformed into a mechanism resembling eugenics, targeting vulnerable groups such as the disabled, homeless, and those with mental health issues. She expresses concern that the program is used not as a last resort for the terminally ill but as an option for non-terminal conditions, which she views as a moral and ethical crisis. Sheren highlights the slippery slope of expanding MAID legislation, including its potential inclusion for children and those with mental illnesses. She provides alarming statistics about the increasing number of assisted deaths, especially in Quebec. Sheren criticizes those lobbying for MAID and suggests they misrepresent public opinion, arguing the program is more about cost-saving than compassion. The conversation also explores the potential for alternative treatments, such as psychedelics, and criticizes the pharmaceutical industry’s influence. The hosts and Sheren agree on the need for better allocation of resources and more supportive societal structures to prevent the conditions leading to euthanasia. Sheren emphasizes the importance of community, purpose, and alternative health treatments in combating the despair that might lead individuals to consider MAID.
From the always marvellous Mark Steyn, whose writings I recall first stumbling upon way back in 2001 (a different time, a different universe)….
Get their names and inflict consequences.
Yes, there must be consequences. You cannot turn the other cheek to leftist malfeasance or even leftist bureaucratic stupidity. The problem with the right is that for too long, for too many days, months, years and decades, we played civil, Queensberry rules and all that crapola, meanwhile the left were jumping, stomping, abusing, threatening, cancelling and silencing those who they deemed ‘ideological enemies’.
That time is now over, finito, and that includes here in Oz.
I was heartened at last night’s protest by the speakers alluding to the two tier policing that has been happening on our streets since October 7. There is huge anger in the community about the months of open Jew hatred on our streets, culminating in an attack on a children’s day care centre. One speaker spoke about how our governments, federal and state, are also funding these leftist Jew haters on the ABC and in the arts. As he said……..this must stop.
Here’s the thing, whilst the left have spent years jumping, stomping, abusing, threatening, cancelling and silencing us, the whole time they still expect us ‘mugs’ to continue to fund them with our hard earned dosh.
the two tier policing that has been happening on our streets since October 7.
This is what Product Boy* Minns has been trying to slither away from since Day 1.
And many…many commentators have fallen for it. Including LNP politicians who see it as an opportunity to cane Albanese because upcoming election.
Minns, as NSW Premier, is responsible for police in this state, not Albanese. Every time the blowtorch is applied, these two goons hand each other a hospital pass and walk away. It’s a game they’ve perfected.
It astonishes me that much smarter people than me haven’t noticed it.
*he’s getting more and more like the boufanted Newsome every day
This is the reason why I refuse to let digital identity mismanagement go. It is voluntary but government departments do not make this clear, effectively hide non-DI alternatives they’ve now been forced to provide, lie to APS employees about it as a requirement for the workplace. And per Robert Gottleisen’s piece in yesterday’s Oz, it’s critical to discover who was behind this intrusion into our privacy? (It awfully seems like the APS SES are complicit in expanding DIs application by stealth.) I’m happy to take it on advice but if an Australian citizen chooses to establish a DI on the basis of not having all information disclosed to them (the voluntary nature of DI is legally enforced through the DI Act) – largely believing it is either mandatory or they can not access benefits or employment with it – hasn’t the law been broken. Sorry to sound off topic but unelected officials acting against the will of the people would appear to be manifested in the DI system.
“the voluntary nature of DI is legally enforced through the DI Act” – Thank you PoliticoNT for this.

I disagree. It only works if those at the top fold. Issue the direction. When it is disobeyed, fire them. Go on to the next one. Rinse and repeat.
Da Resistance will be over in a week when people realise that :-
(a) they will be fired for not doing their jobs; and
(b) there will be a permanent ban on re-employment for those fired for insubordination.

There is evidently an expectation in some quarters that the public will believe shady international cabals are forking out – using crypto, no less – for a can of spray paint, a jerry can, 10 litres of fuel and a hammer.
If the suggestion is that they’re paying these little ferrets to do it, that also fails because a) this sort of crap aligns with their belief systems anyway, b) it is currently popular, and c) they primarily do it to gain cred with their own little circles of inbreds.

The numbers game…arrests to date in NSW in regard to antisemitic crimes including property damage, as reported in the msm yesterday & today:
Only 1 arrest in NSW (SMH)
Only 1 arrest in NSW (Newswire)
7 arrests in NSW (ABC)
9 arrests in NSW (AP)
36 arrests in NSW (SBS)
I note in the transcript of Albanese’s press conference (I can no longer bear to watch him) he spoke of a plurality of alleged offenders being charged and denied bail.
So, why can’t we get straight information on the numbers?
Ditto details of the charges?
Why have names not been published, except in one instance?
Are they all juveniles?
In which case, who is directing them?
Why has this information not been shared with the public prior to this?
If the latter, Crossie, whoever is devising Labor’s strategy on this is an idiot.
If the public think they’re having the wool pulled over their eyes the electoral backlash will be widespread as it contributes to the perception that Albanese is weak.

A reminder of what I said over a year ago – asymmetric wars have asymmetric victory conditions. Irregulars win by not losing (ie surviving), regulars lose by not winning….
Patience Grasshopper. The 2nd phase of the deal isn’t going to happen, and it’ll be back to whacking those moles, who have so helpfully outed themselves. They use the southern hospital as their base and HQ, so I suspect the IDF will move the population north and then take them out.
Meanwhile if Netanyahu can get all 33 hostages released he will have taken a lot of pressure off the government.
Notice that they’re booting the freed terrorists into PA areas not Gaza? It makes them easier to find later, without all those tunnels to hide in. It also creates nice yummy tension between Hamas and Fatah. And if they get kinetic it will give the Israelis an excuse to do a big cleanout of the PA area.
Israel under the first stage agreement controls the Philadelphi Corridor. They are not going to give that up, which is a topic for the 2nd stage agreement.
The Israelis were clever in saying they would agree to the first stage AND insisted that the detail of the second stage would be negotiated during the time of the first stage.
Thus they can say they do not accept the 2nd stage terms if it requires them to vacate Philadelphi.
And the only way Hamas can rearm and resupply is via Philadelphi.
Insurgencies like Giap’s can only succeed if they have a friendly outside supporter with good logistical access. In Giap’s case it was China and Russia. Gaza is walled off, and Israeli is going to maintain that siege, so that Hamas cannot resupply.

You are thinking too tactically – Israel’s enemies are strategic
They’re also hopeless. It’s fun to read of the military culture – saw such an article on the Saudi Army once, I wish I’d bookmarked it. Completely dysfunctional.
One of the undercurrent things that is happening is Israel is encouraging Gazans to emigrate. That could become a flood, especially when the IDF flattens all the buildings in the safe zones – once the population is moved to the other end of the Strip.
Rendering no stone upon another and giving out tents to live in would be a powerful incentive to go someplace else.
I read on twitterX that as part of Fauci’s retirement deal he gets taxpayer funded security, ie could be total horse shit.
Considering how many former public servants in the US get this, it would be a bold move for Trump to defund it.
And as it’s a funding issue (he has private security funded by the taxpayer), congress has 20 ways to appropriate funding that would go to pick up the tab.
And as it’s a funding issue (he has private security funded by the taxpayer), congress has 20 ways to appropriate funding that would go to pick up the tab.
Congress may appropriate the funds for that purpose but has no way of applying the money, that function belongs to the executive branch, that is Trump’s admin.
Of course, there will be another category of very disappointed US Federal Pubic Serpents – those passed over as not important enough or dangerous enough to be fired.
Interesting though Tom. Crime is now a top five issue nationally for the electorate. The NT might be an indicative space. The new CLP NT government is sticking to its guns on law and order, despite the legal/justice sector rolling into hysterics and claiming it’s the end of times.
The CLP’s candidate for the Federal Seat of Solomon (Lisa Bayliss) was not looking competitive against the incumbent – mainly because the CLP having won every seat in Darwin and Palmerston bar one at the last state election were confident this would translate into an easy victory. It’ll be lazy campaigning 101, no need to work at policy.
But with crime trending as a vote decider, and the CLP NT actually doing something about it at the state level – then she does have some kind of foundation. I’m not 100% convinced it’s enough, but I am convinced crime is now a real issue federally.

Does the chirpy preacher realise that Trump has nominated more gay people than any other administration?
And unlike the Biden administration, they weren’t nominated because they were gay.
It was because they were very freaking accomplished and they just happen to be gay.

Just watched a clip of a robed priestess lecturing Trump at the interfaith service in Washington.
Interfaith, eh? Yet no traditional Christian was invited to speak, despite a tradition that the preacher is aligned with the incoming administration.
For those who don’t keep up with such things, the female bishop represents the US Episcopalian Church (Anglicans), whom the majority of the world’s Anglicans no longer recognise as orthodox in regard to faith or morals.
Probably already done – they probably think they’re untouchable.

In other news, the final chapter of another failure of democrat governance is playing out.
Mentioned by neither the J’ismist nor the community spokespersons is the reason for the store’s closure.
An unsustainable level of shoplifting.
The most coruscating essay on woke culture that I’ve ever read. Also the longest ever tweet that I’ve seen. Well worth RTWTing, especially since it is from just before the election, so probably represents the highest tidemark of the woke snot tsunami.
The best way to dismantle an oppressive system is to simply disobey it altogether. If a few do so, then the elites have the resources to punish them. However, if enough regular people are defying such an active encroachment of liberty, there is little the elites can do but shelve their draconian aspirations.
Exactly what I was saying from the very beginning of the covid dystopia.
It can be hard to be tuned in to the creeping creep of creepy digital surveillance. Is it true that a traveller can decline a biometric scan at airports, and insists on a human photo validation?
Anthony Albanese says that while the string of anti-Semitic attacks in Australia is an “outrage”, he did not go as far as to call it a “crisis”, as the Coalition had previously characterised it.
“Do you believe that this is a national crisis, a domestic terrorism crisis?” He was asked.
“We, of course, believe that this is an outrage,” Mr Albanese said.
“We’ve called out every one of these. We are acting.”
Mr Albanese dismissed Coalition claims his government had been slow to respond.
“We’ve acted from day one,” he said.
“And I’ll tell you what is of some concern, is people who seek political advantage from what is a traumatic circumstance. And I’ve worked with all of the communities.

I’m very jealous. Never visited.
When US peeps ask me where I wanna go, I want to visit the vast (after rain) green plains of the Mid-West. Fuck the Rockies, NY or LA.
I wanna sit in a diner in the middle of nowhere and have a steak and chips.

That never stopped.
I believe there was a bit of foot-dragging.
ABC website running a how-to article about how venues can legally bar entry to anyone wearing “Australia Day colours”.
Dead easy. Set an arbitrary dress standard for the particular day, or part day.
The hard part is how to target the “dress standard” to exclude Australia Day colours without actually saying so, whilst letting in everybody else.
This type of exclusion happens more often than some may realise.

Yeah, I reckon that ‘pause’ was a media stunt, and Trump is going to have to contend with stock depletion in the US given the wars in Gaza and Ukraine, so it would be all roughly the same.

The hospital? reminds me of a few of the remote areas I worked in – lots of rock walls, but the rest severely lacking maintenance and that which was done was just cosmetic and not really worth the bother.
Thanks.
I find these old places and their history fascinating, I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but why can’t they just let it slide and ignore?
The phantom downticker of calli is up early today and striking at my posts.

Warsaw at the end of 1944 was in effect 85 % rubble, a ruin of a city.
So were many German and English cities.
Look at it now, humans can be terrible destroyers and magnificent re-builders.
I remember pictures of women standing on piles of destroyed buildings, collecting and cleaning the bricks after the war for rebuilding – on all the different sides, British, German, Japanese, Italian, Polish, Russian.
“We can always rebuild. We can’t raise the dead.”
More here from Steyn.
Some minor officials defying Trump’s orders.
Excellent piece by Steyn.
An uptick from me.
But it remains at -1.
Hmm.
So there must be two admirers, Calli.
Just less competent.
More like a Manchurian Candidate.
Felons have to felon. Most of the crooks will offend again. Let’s hope they are caught.
Yep. This a Steyn quote?
No. This is my own take on it. Others may agree.

Pelosi is a hideous, evil old slag.
They can do that if they want Republicans to use it in their election campaigns and then win those elections. They will find that people are just fed up with such behaviour particularly now when there is a president who tells them it’s OK to be pissed off at such tactics.

Churchill is back!
Trump Brings Back The Winston Churchill Bust Back to the Oval Office (21 Jan)
He’s also returned the flags of the branches of the U.S. armed forces which Biden had removed as well. Hopefully Vance will win in 2028 so that poor Mr Churchill gets a rest from Winston Tennis.
I liked the picture of his mother at the end over his left shoulder in the Oval Office.
It wasn’t the Oval Office but and area outside it where the press asked questions while he got on with being the greatest President the US has ever seen. The wreckage caused by the demonrats is far greater than any war or the great depression.
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/despite-biden-pardon-fauci-still-faces-legal-perils-here-they-are
Yep. Along with the pardon comes the loss of the right to not self incriminate.
Biden was too clever by far, now they are going to cop a dose of the Lawfare they inflicted on others. Reaping the whirlwind etc.
And, I suppose, lying to a grand jury or a congressional committee will be perjury. As might even a refusal to answer a question.
The chap who was reading out the executive orders was lawyer Will Scharf.

Trump’s reply was awesome. 😀

Clear footage of the scrotes has been used and, they were even described as being of “middle eastern appearance”. woot!

Yeah, Sky News had another one like this yesterday:
Teens found hiding in cupboards following month-long alleged crime spree involving home and car burglaries across Brisbane (21 Jan)

Refuse entry into every public pool in the state.
Make them swim in the surf if they get a bit hot. Then leave them to drown when they get into difficulties, which they inevitably will.
Outstanding!
If this isn’t an admission of guilt – on both sides – I’d like to know what is.

MAID: Why the Government Wants You to Kill Yourself – Kelsi Sheren
NO MORE.
*he’s getting more and more like the boufanted Newsome every day
Agree 100%
calli, not many smarter than you, just different things.

The DOJ officially admits Hunter Biden was bribed by a criminal Romanian oligarch to influence U.S. policy through Joe Biden.
Surprise!

Trump: What is this one?
“Withdrawing from the World Heath Organization”
Trump: Ohhh
@Acyn
Doocy: Are you a dictator on day one?
Trump: No. No. I can’t imagine even being called that. I believe in the sanctity of the vote. Democrats didn’t, because they cheated like dogs

BREAKING: Enrique Tarrio former lead of the Proud Boys, has been given clemency and released from prison.
Tarrio famously was charged with “sedition” even though he never stepped foot in D.C. on J6.
He claimed in an interview that he was offered a plea, if he lied about Trump telling him to attack the Capitol.
@DonaldJTrumpJr
No more showing up to work one day a month. If you’re going to collect a paycheck from the government, you actually have to show up to work!
President Trump signs order mandating federal workers show up in-person for work.
That should get rid of a fair number of the parasites.
Cherry on the top.
@IanJaeger29
BREAKING: Former Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson says that there could be mass resignations from the Department of Justice, following President Trump’s decision to pardon January 6th prisoners.
oh nooooes
Excellent news – there will be a race on between those who want to quit, and those who want to beat being sacked.
Oh. That’s unfortunate.
*golf clap*
snork!
But not in relation to Creepy Joe releasing actual, you know, convicted criminals, or pardoning his son and other family members?
That filthy turd Elbow, is on Sky desperately holding back his slimy smirk as he answers questions about the latest arrest of a mussie torchbearer.
He really believes he’s put one over on us.
The moron also used the word “klink”, for where the scrote is being held.
He really doesn’t care about the Jewish, or other aussie communities.
He is so excited as he believes he has actually scored a goal.
Now he’s trying for Gravitas. aaaargh!
He’s also blaming the former Government for all the local terrorism.
The Libs were NOT in power on Oct 7 you filthy coward.
Every time Albo opens his mouth, we have to remember democracy is played out in slow motion and that he’ll get his comeuppance on election day.
He is attacking Dutton because he’s got nothing and knows he can’t run on his terrible record of appeasing and encouraging muslim barbarians torching Jewish synagogues and child care centres.
I head that.
Meaningless pap doesnt begin to describe it.
@PressSec
The most transparent President in history is back.
@ericmmatheny
You don’t pardon an entire congressional subcommittee unless they were engaged in serious criminal activity.
No normal person accepts a pardon if they have done nothing wrong, or been accused of wrongdoing. Draw your own conclusions.
Enrique Tarrio former lead of the Proud Boys
I am very, very happy about this.
@ElectionWiz
BREAKING — India’s government is ready to collaborate with Donald Trump’s administration to identify and repatriate around 18,000 Indian citizens residing illegally in the United States, according to Bloomberg.
What a great idea.
Perhaps Anal could do the same here?
Who is going to man the taxis and 7-11 stores?
That stupid Bishop that was giving Trump a lecture was worried about who would clean her house and was the dishes.
And think about the universities!
But Musk
Musk is ‘African-American’ … hes got a free pass
They knew who he was from the very first moment but lied and lied as an excuse to attack the righteously outraged public.
‘We’ve been denied the truth’: Farage accuses Starmer of a Southport cover-up as it’s finally revealed Axel Rudakubana was referred to counter-extremism programme THREE times
The experts – getting it wrong and utterly missing the point.
Earlier:
Financing anti-Semitic behaviour pertaining to the school. Okay.
@TheNewsTrending
#BREAKING: Palestinian terror attack in Tel Aviv Israel.
Two lightly and moderately injured.
Terrorist eliminated by an Israeli civilian woman with a gun.
A Moroccan-American who came into Israel on a tourist visa 3 days ago. That’s one muzzie at least that’s not coming back to the US.
They should bury the terrorist wrapped in a pigskin.
Because it’s not true or because it would be disadvantageous to Labor?
If the latter, Crossie, whoever is devising Labor’s strategy on this is an idiot.
If the public think they’re having the wool pulled over their eyes the electoral backlash will be widespread as it contributes to the perception that Albanese is weak.
I missed this.
Biden didn’t just give blanket pardons for the J6 committee & it’s staff.
He also issued the pardons for a range of witnesses who testified before the J6 committee.
Why would a witness need a pardon….oh that’s right.
Do such people exist?
Only in relative terms, as in comparing morons to imbeciles.
Patience favours the irregulars actually – Netanyahu faces political and economic pressures the longer this goes…..
As Giap said “you will kill 10 of us for every one of you ….and in the end it is you who will grow tired of it”
This is why the 2nd stage isn’t going to happen.

Good old Credibility Giap
I read on twitterX that as part of Fauci’s retirement deal he gets taxpayer funded security, ie could be total horse shit.
Considering how many former public servants in the US get this, it would be a bold move for Trump to defund it.
And as it’s a funding issue (he has private security funded by the taxpayer), congress has 20 ways to appropriate funding that would go to pick up the tab.
Time will tell.
I know just the Secret Service Team to put on the job too!
Congress may appropriate the funds for that purpose but has no way of applying the money, that function belongs to the executive branch, that is Trump’s admin.
YIKES! The George Soros Machine Tried to Infiltrate DOGE Before Suing Trump Admin
Of course, there will be another category of very disappointed US Federal Pubic Serpents – those passed over as not important enough or dangerous enough to be fired.
If I was Jack Smith I would be looking for a plea deal.
I’ll give you everything as long as there’s zero jail time.
When you vote in Labor governments state or federal, violence on our streets increases.
Every. Single. Time.
Still on a high here.
USA! USA! USA!
Anal is a product of our debased universities. What a sick joke hiya ejucashun is.
Did Debra Birxs score a pardon? She’s just as guilty as her husband Anthony Fauci?
Was no pardon for her part of the Fouchi deal?

Awesome! 😀
Does the chirpy preacher realise that Trump has nominated more gay people than any other administration?
And unlike the Biden administration, they weren’t nominated because they were gay.
It was because they were very freaking accomplished and they just happen to be gay.
Chirpy preacher is in direct conflict with the Bible.
There’s no such thing as a female bishop.
And qwerties go to hell unless they repent.
WTF did he even go, knowing the ‘Bishops’ proclivities?
Yes, this is one inauguration tradition that Trump’s people should have rejected.
Have a clergyman of their own choice deliver a message and give a benediction in the WH.
To let them expose themselves, flyinduk.
It’s worse than that.
Her job is to lead the flock.
Even if she imagined herself another Saint Paul before Caesar, he preached the Gospel, he didn’t harangue Caesar about Rome’s excesses.
Her opportunity was to “give account for the hope that was in her” and with gentleness and respect.
Examples from the two great Apostles ignored.
The Gospel is exciting. No wonder Trump was unimpressed.
She lives in a shrinking bubble.
She thinks it’s January 2017 and she’ll be held up as a hero.
She won’t.
At best she’ll get an eye roll and bunch of TikTok’s saying who TF is she.
She preaches “another gospel”, calli.
They repent in-between being deviants.

This is evil.

Altman is the ultimate snake.
Tried (with Hoffman, Gates & Microsoft) to regulate most other AI developers out of existence.
Needs to be watched like a hawk.
Yeah this was a bad mistake. Trump has to avoid doing this; it’s what killed him during his first term: picking the wrong people. Look at the bitch:
Woke bishop infiltrates Trump’s church service, What happens next made Trump FURIOUS
Old habits die hard.
How long before one of Biden’s pardonees commits a crime?
Probably already done – they probably think they’re untouchable.
They be wrong, mon.
In other news, the final chapter of another failure of democrat governance is playing out.
Mentioned by neither the J’ismist nor the community spokespersons is the reason for the store’s closure.
An unsustainable level of shoplifting.
As usual, they’re blaming everybody else for their social dysfunction.

Millennial Snot
The most coruscating essay on woke culture that I’ve ever read. Also the longest ever tweet that I’ve seen. Well worth RTWTing, especially since it is from just before the election, so probably represents the highest tidemark of the woke snot tsunami.
My sons are Millennials and are nothing like that.
I’m so lucky.
My kids too.
The AI Surveillance Plan
Exactly what I was saying from the very beginning of the covid dystopia.
It can be hard to be tuned in to the creeping creep of creepy digital surveillance. Is it true that a traveller can decline a biometric scan at airports, and insists on a human photo validation?
And just as we saw during covid, the majority of people will be most adept at thinking up very good reasons to comply with the tyranny.
From The Oz….
“Peter Dutton, for someone who was responsible for some national security issues as minister for home affairs, should know better.”
Cooeee, anyone else remember the politicisation of various ‘wape allegations’ back in 2021 and 2022?
I can’t stop laughing at the absolute chutzpah from the Jew hating slug from Grayndler. The slug is a disgrace.
Yes, yes he has. Acted. Acted like he was doing something, without ever actually doing anything.
Flapping his gums is acting, just ask him.
The Ever-Shrinking Man speaks truth.
“We’ve called out every one of these. We are acting.”
That claim can be taken quite a different way.
A small weak man in every sense of it.
A ferret-faced non entity, who proves to us that in the ALP even ferret-faced non entities can rise to high office.
A repulsive little man who still carries on like he’s in 2nd year at Sydney uni and frequenting the fetted rooms of the merewether building
