The Covid agenda is running hot, but there remain a few who have decided to keep a cool head and see what’s going on, as in: UK data destroys entire premise for vaccine push. Read what’s at the link, but really, what is to be made of this?
The report also made one other important admission:
In other words, getting vaccinated to protect others is not true!
From which the following conclusion is drawn.
This is NOT a sterilising vaccine that stops diseases like polio or hepatitis using live virus. This is for you alone. Which means, as experts like Martin Kulldorff, biostatistician, epidemiologist and professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and Jay Bhattacharya, professor of medicine at Stanford University and research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, have long said, it makes zero sense to vaccinate the young and healthy.
We are dealing with a world-historical error, and in fact a global assault on young bodies.
There is also this, of course not from a local paper naturally, but nevertheless about a local event: Seven News reporter Denham Hitchcock is rushed to hospital with extremely rare inflammation of the heart after getting the Pfizer Covid shot – but still urges Australians to get vaccinated so borders can reopen. These are the opening details from the link.
- Channel 7 reporter Denham Hitchcock suffering from heart condition after jab
- Hitchcock got Pfizer vaccine several weeks ago and had persisting symptoms
- He suffered from racing heart, pins and needles and dizziness over weeks
- Journalist was eventually hospitalised and diagnosed with pericarditis
- Condition is inflammation of sac-like tissue that surrounds the heart
But if you ever want to get on a Qantas flight again …
However, there is also this to provide additional breadth and depth: Journalist Speaks Out After Being Diagnosed With “Inflammation of the Heart Due to Pfizer Vaccine”. You can read his full statement at the link, but I think this is particularly noteworthy.
25 days after the shot and probably a little late to hospital – but here I am – diagnosed with pericarditis – or inflammation of the heart due to the Pfizer vaccine.
Since being here I’ve contacted health professionals I know in Sydney and while It’s rare – it’s certainly not isolated. One hospital has had well over a dozen cases like me.
And then there’s this, again about a journalist but this time in the UK: Coroner: BBC Presenter Lisa Shaw Died Due to ‘Vaccine-Induced’ Blood Clots in Brain. From the BBC:
Lisa Shaw, who worked for BBC Radio Newcastle, died at the age of 44 in May after developing headaches a week after getting her first dose of the vaccine.
Newcastle coroner Karen Dilks heard Ms Shaw suffered blood clots in the brain which ultimately led to her death.
The inquest heard the condition linked to the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine was very rare.
The coroner said: “Lisa died due to complications of an AstraZeneca Covid vaccination.”
Ms Dilks said Ms Shaw was previously fit and well but concluded that it was “clearly established” that her death was due to a very rare “vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia”, a condition which leads to swelling and bleeding of the brain.
Two very rare events that affected two different journalists. And if they weren’t journalists, how likely is it you would have heard a word about either?
Our Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) said this in their latest weekly report dated 26 August: “Since the beginning of the vaccine rollout to 22 August 2021, over 17.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been given. So far, the TGA has found that 7 reports of deaths were linked to immunisation from 476 reports [of deaths] received and reviewed. These deaths occurred after the first dose of the Vaxzervria (AstraZeneca) vaccine – 6 were TTS cases and one was a case of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP).”
See, I said to my friend, only 7 deaths – which is pretty good provided you’re not one of the seven. He came back, and cynically is the only way to describe it: “So, deaths related to vaccinations are not caused by the vaccine, but all deaths of people with Covid are caused by Covid?”
Tch, tch! I replied, we must trust government figures.
In a recent podcast for the IPA (an organisation I no longer belong to) Tony Abbott discusses the malaise running amok in the once great Liberal Party of Australia. Firstly, before I continue, I need to state that I haven’t listened to the podcast and I even if I could I probably wouldn’t listen. No doubt it’s available somewhere on Youtube but the thought of listening to Abbott “umm and ahh” his way through a podcast isn’t very appealing. I’ve read about the podcast here on the Cat, in The Australian as well as on the excellent Australian conservative website “politicom” which I discovered through someone here on the Cat who posted a link…I think it was Shy Ted. I would urge all Cats to sign up for the weekly email and to visit the site. Here’s the link….
https://politicom.com.au/
But back to Abbott, in the podcast he bemoans and laments the exodus of disenchanted and angry Liberals, particularly two well-known Liberals, Campbell Newman and John Ruddock. He begs Liberals not to abandon the party. Abbott says…..
“My advice to people who are feeling frustrated with the state of centre-Right politics right now is not to give up in disgust – but to stay in and fight.”
Now when I first read that I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry….”stay and fight“…such spirited words from someone who didn’t really fight much when he was PM….we all remember how he capitulated on repealing Section 18C. Nor did he fight much when he was being assaulted daily by GetUp and other progressive activists during the vicious 2019 election campaign waged against him in Warringah…..but it begs the question….”how exactly do we stay and fight Tone?” The Liberal Party of Australia, once a bastion of limited government, fiscal responsibility, individual liberty, freedom of religion and free speech, has disappeared, gone, zapped away. I’m searching for that Liberal Party but I can’t find it….anywhere. The Liberal Party doesn’t need the left to destroy it…it’s destroying itself. We never hear a peep from the Liberal Party and the current PM about those aforementioned Menzian principles. Instead, we now have a “copycat party”, it doesn’t even try to hide the fact that it apes the policies of Labor and the far-left Greens, it’s a “Liberal government” in name only that is now more spendthrift than anything under Rudd, in fact I’d hazard a good guess that even John Keynes would be appalled at the financial profligacy. And Morrison…..lol…..he’s spineless, he never confronts the left, all he does is fellate their talking points in order to appease them, whether it be about climate, bushfires, so called sexual assault allegations and on and on it goes. Morrison’s national cabinet empowered grubs like Dan the Marxist and McClown. A jelly made five minutes ago has more backbone that Morrison. And the worst…the Liberals will happily side with Labor to censor and condemn their own…whether it be the disgraceful lynching of Bettina Arndt in 2020 and the silencing of Craig Kelly and George Christensen this year. Can any of you imagine Labor censoring one of their own?
And here in NSW? Words usually fail me. The party should rename itself the “Mint Greens”, it copies the far-left inner west Greens on everything….the environment, energy and on social policies it’s fallen even further left than Labor. Just remember those grotesque abortion laws two years ago, introduced in darkness, where Gladys and Barilaro (and don’t get me started on that fraud) struck a deal with a nasty hard-left independent by the name of Alex Greenwich to introduce despicable abortion laws…..where you can abort an unborn baby up to nine months. Next on the list will be euthanasia…just wait for it….it’s only months away. This is a state government that calls ordinary men and women, protesting about the need to go to work….”selfish” and “boofheads”. But we shouldn’t be surprised by any of this, the person who controls the NSW Liberal Party isn’t Gladys…it’s a leftist green grub named Michael Photios. But none of this is confined to the NSW Liberals….these same progressive mint green policies run rampant through all state Liberal parties which is why they struggle to win elections because they don’t actually oppose anything…they’re just Labor lite parties. Look at the pathetic state of the Western Australian, Queensland and Victorian Liberal parties…all three live in daily fear of their own shadows. I’ve long said it but I’ll say it again….why vote Labor lite? May as well vote Labor.
So Tone, here’s an idea, maybe before you criticise the likes of Campbell Newman, John Ruddock and people like me for leaving the Liberals you should have a word to Scott Morrison to stop listening to progressives, Twitter talking points, the G7 and the MSM and instead LISTEN to the talking points of those Liberal party members who remain in the party. It’s just an idea Tone but it’s probably too late…..because I suspect the birds have flown the coop and they’re now far away.
Oh and Tone, there is a party that professes those Menzian principles I value and that party is called the Liberal Democrats…which is why I’ve joined and why many others are fleeing the Liberal party for the Lib Dems.
Anyway Tone, you know ALL of this yet you still ask us to stay and fight? Here’s my answer to you…NO. Your hollow lamentation confirms to me that you really are “Tone Deaf”.
It’s with no sense of satisfaction that I note the materialisation of my prediction on the old Cat.
As the lockdowns continue, and the ‘voluntary’ vaccination rates climb, I see the pressure mounting on the hesitant from two different directions. That is, from Governments, in the form of ever louder hints of vaccination apartheid, and from the ever-growing block of vaccinated (and lockdown weary) public, for whom it is seen as a panacea for the government dictates.
Both will increase as the vaccination rate grows towards, and surpasses, what governments see as the mandate level. After that, the hints will become directions, and the pressure will become less perceived, and ever more tangible.
However, from accounts passing my ears, there is a third factor, that I never saw coming, but probably should have. That of the spouse; predominately those who have made a different choice in terms of the vaccine. Extended family, I foresaw, but from these accounts, a particularly insidious phenomenon is in play.
As the prospect of losing one’s job, or not being able to cross state lines (let alone travel internationally) slowly materialises, it would appear that the spectre of emotional blackmail is raising its head in the consent arena.
“Are you really willing to lose your job, and be unable to feed your family, over this ridiculous obsession/principle/fear?”
“I’ll take the kids on holidays without you, is that what you want?”
“Are you really prepared to prevent our child from completing Year 12 by refusing to let him/her get vaccinated?”
“You’re not going to embarrass me by becoming a Covid denier, are you?”
“You have responsibilities, it’s not fair to do this to us as a family over an irrational fear of a vaccine.”
“Get it now while you still have a choice, that way you can still maintain your principles.”
“If you believe it’s just like a bad flu, think of the vaccine as just another flu shot…you’ve had them before.”
All statements (or paraphrases thereof) that I’ve had recounted to me, mostly by men, I’m afraid to say. It’s just the manifestation of fear and uncertainty, I understand, and primal responses are to be expected in such unprecedented times (at least for most of us). I also assume that such conversations are not new to history and imagine similar conversations preceded some pretty bloody awful events and periods in the last century. We are getting a refresher on human (and group) manipulation.
For mine, I am refusing the pressure to get vaccinated precisely for the benefit of my family. I neither fear the vaccine (although I am suspicious of its long term impacts), nor COVID itself. I am, however, absolutely terrified of what follows when governments succeed in being able to dictate (either directly or indirectly) what an individual must do with or to their own body, in the name of the greater good.
Surely it’s the last bastion of individual rights and sovereign territory? Your own body? As I see it, once that fence has been removed, the wolves are free to roam, to hunt, to kill, largely without limits. My children deserve better, and the principle in play is more important than a holiday…perhaps even my job. History has told us that the thirst of such power is rarely slaked by appeasement. The line must be drawn somewhere, and this hill is a good one to die on.
I don’t know what the answer is here, but I do know that the government has already succeeded in pulling this country apart. I suspect they are not far behind in pulling apart, or irreversibly damaging, a large number of families, too.
P.S. It’s interesting to note how few (ie. none) of the spouse statements have to do with health and the direct impacts of COVID, merely potential Government policy and peer pressure.
Which is the classical American definition of treason. Here is a list worth pondering: Complete List of Armaments US Is Leaving to Taliban and Islamist Groups. This is the one in the list below that really caught my eye: “Pallets with Millions of Dollars in US Currency”. Just like Obama with Iran. This was not just carelessness or haste.
Rather than destroying the equipment before leaving the country, Joe Biden decided to leave the nearly $85 billion worth of US military equipment to the Taliban.

It’s almost like they were outfitting the Taliban on purpose.
Daughter #3 and her boyfriend found themselves legitimately in his parent’s holiday house at the start of LuckDan 6.0(b) and so, they stayed there. Now, boyfriend’s online biz needs supplies, and he finds he has to travel back into Babylon to get them. Is he legitimately allowed to do this? Who knows?
So, he does, he does the potentially illegal run into town. Prepared lies, excuses, reasons, printed FAQs from DHHS … he goes for it.
Winner!
The daughter now works for the enemy, the Princes of Babylon.
She’s been stranded without jocks up the Mornington Peninsula for weeks and needs some case files and some clothes for her first proper court application which, will be done via Zoom. So anyway, after a phone call with my daughter, the missus interrupts my safe space (which is stirring trouble at The Cat) … omg, omg, what should she do?
My earnest response was, “Lie … just lie like everybody else does … a nugget of truth and an extra layer deep”
Daughter: I work for (not actually saying) and need files from the office for court.
Polis: What are doing up the Peninsula in the first place?
Daughter: We were there when LuckDan started, and we are still there … exactly as directed
Simples … right?
Except, that the Legals are now bullshitting each other and stretching the truth.
Cops, overstepping their mandate.
Young lawyers crafting cover stories.
Not good.
You know what though, this is now normal.
Went to the dentist today and when the missus booked us in last week, the receptionist made a pretence of making absolutely sure that the dentistry was essential!!
The missus lied of course, or kind of exaggerated, and the appointments for check-ups got made after reception checked with her boss who knows how it works. Hmm, sounds essential he said … 12 months? … omg, even sounds urgent.
My own work is essential too. It makes no difference what I’m actually doing, the ‘essential’ card wins the day. It wouldn’t matter if it was midnight on a Sunday and my self-written Stasi-Work-Pass which doesn’t include a start/stop/rostered hours entry. The truth is I work in essential services.
Matrix: Yeah, jacking pumps on level 40 have stopped working.
Matrix: The fire alarm has gone off and won’t reset.
Matrix: The Widget went wonky and now the Flocculator is fouled
Whatever … I could just as easily be going to Macca’s cos I have the munchies as I could be shopping for seedlings at Bunnings…not that I’ve ever done that of course 🙂
Coda:
It’s all lies. Except for the newly legitimated intrusion into everybody’s lives for the slightest pretence.
Polis: Where’s your ID … skanky liar?
Well, turns out I’m a better liar than you are a cop … or is this transaction also part of the game as well?
Welcome to Soviet ‘Straya where we started lying to them at exactly the same time that they started lying to us.
I was at my church’s parish council meeting, via Zoom of course, on Monday when our minister referred to the call by Sydney’s Anglican Archbishop Kanishka Raffel for the government to accept more Afghan refugees. I admit to going off a little. In part I said that it would be compassionate if the archbishop was offering his spare bedrooms for refugees instead of advocating that thousands of people of a culturally-clashing background be imposed on unsuspecting peons out there in suburbia. Silence ensued.
There is an argument for accepting Afghans employed by the Australian Army. Maybe. Particularly if they were given that understanding. Otherwise, a simple rule should apply to anyone living outside of Australia who wishes to live in Australia. Will their immigration benefit the nation and its people?
This rule would not exclude refugees or any grouping of people. Nor would it give refugees any special pass. I constantly wonder why politicians think they were elected to project their moral virtue by admitting people into the country who are likely to bring with them more costs than benefits. To echo Donald Trump, Australia must come first. And I would add, second and third before we ever get to foreigners and then, note, it’s primarily up to them to make their countries liveable. Those remaining in Afghanistan to try to do that are deserving of our support.
The thoughts in this article were triggered by one of the most RTWT pieces produced over the last week or so since it was shown that EVERY agency, military, civilian and NGO involved in Afghanistan was worse than clueless.
Hundreds of thousands of experts, top in their respective fields, all failed to see 20 years and trillions of dollars were no match for hard men with a cause. CIA, FBI, NSA, UN, ASIO, Medicans san Frontiers, Oxfam, and a thousand other trustafarian dilettantes all poured time & resources onto sand.
I’m not going to rehash the points made in that, and other well written articles about the failure. It’s catastrophic, all consuming and cannot be denied.
Instead I’m going to focus on trying to save the administrative state.
Something I hate personally but will credit with (in its original forms) assisting in reducing inequalities and regulating behaviour between the classes.
What Im afraid of: A turn to rule by emotion, breeding, wealth, or personal influence and connections. Tsarist Russia might be seen as the epitome of this, which led to the horrible spiral of repression, oppression then revolution.
In my opinion there is only one key way to save the administrative state.
The bureaucracy must learn to fear the general public.
The local planning officer should flinch when a permission is requested knowing if they apply the regulations capriciously or in a way that damages an individual they will lose their job and be liable for economic loss.
The Clean energy finance guru should shit his pants seeing electricity prices rise, knowing, without a doubt he’s about to be sacked and blacklisted from any similar position.
The various health authorities inflicting economic and mental ruin on hundreds of thousands of people need to be jailed and their departments disbanded, every person in them marked as pariah.
Politicians must be made to enact legislation through parliament only, not assign vast reams of law making and regulation to self interested silos of various regulatory agencies. And when one of those regulations causes harm to an individual they must be held personally accountable for the losses suffered.
We exist in an awful state at the moment which I would call anarcho-tyranny, where we are sowed incredibly thickly with laws and regulations, yet connections or money mean they are selectively applied.
Billy Bongsmoke can’t leave his LGA for fear of a fine equal to 3 months of his disability pension, yet Nicole Kidman flys in direct from Singapore because she’s ‘economically vital”.
The only way out is complete accountability.
We need lawyers prepared to lodge thousands of damages claims every time a new regulation is enacted.
We need a political party that removes any ability of the bureaucracy to generate law or regulation without compensation paid up ahead of its imposition to those affected.
And lastly we need sackings and consequences for every fuckup. No shuffling sideways, no mercy, if a bureaucrat has blighted another person’s life with a bad decision then justice demands they face a similar penalty as restitution.
This and only this approach will save the administrative state.
As it exists it is an almost completely closed self serving loop. Appeals and complaints pit atomised individuals against organisations wallowing in OPM and effectively unlimited resources. And “watchdogs” supposed to provide some accountability are designed to respond to the bureaucracy, not the individuals affected.
Introducing fear of the public is the only way to make the managerial class realise the danger they are in.
They honestly don’t realise in many cases they harm they inflict, and with a near complete absence of painful personal stimuli have no reason to do so.
With no skin in the game they are ignorant enough to reach for repression as their tool of choice.
Democratic repression is no better than repression by Theocracy , Monarchy or any of the charnel house “isms” of the 20th Century.
I am genuinely concerned we may return to the age of “Propaganda of the Deed”, where people ruined by government fiat decide that just smashing stuff up and becoming ungovernable is as legitimate as voting for the uniparties every 4 years.
So let’s have a look at the scoreboard on 3 January 2021, having passed through two waves of Covid in this Country. Let’s call it a belated New Years Eve party!
That’s right folks. Despite all the panic and carry on, according to their own figures and table, if you are under the age of 50, your risk of dying from Covid-19 doesn’t even register.
To put a little bit more perspective around that (something sorely missing nowadays), we locked up nearly 17 million (16,944,725) people to avoid a risk that, for them, isn’t even statistically relevant enough that they could round it up to 1 decimal place.
The <50 demographic is 66% of the population. If you drag the threshold up to <65, you get 84% of the population and the Case Fatality Rate (even being generous because of the lack of fidelity in the data) rises to a staggering 0.15. Yes, this would register on their table…just. Without the generosity, it would most certainly round to 0.1.
More or less, that is the working demographic of this country. The productive demographic. The demographic that funds the Universal Healthcare System, and the handouts.
Let’s put a bit more perspective around that figure.
You’ll notice that 2009 was excluded from the graph above. That’s because it’s an outrider outlier, and is rather inconvenient. Perhaps an event something like COVID…except for the locking up bit?
Insanity.
Our descendants will truly shake their heads…provided they are allowed to.
