The Kafkaesque process of Vaccine Exemptions

This is an incredible story. This lady is being put through the ringer here in Victoria in order to obtain a medical exemption even though she clearly deserves one given her previous anaphylactic episodes with other medical interventions. Her GP refused on the grounds of ‘legal liability’ but I think its rather fear of an APRHA investigation. She is still, I believe, awaiting approval of her medical exemption – finally provided by a specialist – from the relevant medical authority, which I believe, is simply a public servant that can second guess the GP or specialist, here the latter, that initially granted the medical exemption. Even given her anaphylactic history, an even more bizarre dimension of this episode is the attempt to still try a vaccinate her via the intervention of the Victorian Specialist Immunisation Service.

It has effectively come to this in Victoria: politicians and bureaucrats overruling and coming between doctors and their best medical advice for their patients.
“Shameful” isn’t a strong enough word for it.
I’d expect this sort of thing in a dictatorship, not a democracy.

“The Grate Offloading” has commenced.

Here’s a transcript of a text exchange this afternoon, with one of my erstwhile mates.

“Went to the demo yesterday, Squire, lots of hotties”
EM: “What demo was that?”
“The demo opposing all the hitlerist idiocy we’ve been subjected to since March last year”
EM: “I went to see the matildas play USA”
“You should have seen the fine young women yesterday, ex-nurses and ex-teachers, en masse – they’ve lost their jobs because they won’t submit to the clot shots – and since when did you become a shill for big phat pharma, Squire?”
EM “As a trained Epidemiolgist I am absolutely delighted with the 90% double dose vaccination rate for 16+ yrs in NSW”
“You’re a fraud, who lerves big stupid government, long time”
EM “If you don’t want it, you don’t have to”
No, I don’t, I just have have to put up with being rendered a second class citizen, having my rights and freedoms removed and losing my job – wonderful to know you’re on board with this totalitarian insanity”

He’s now banned. For evah.

Funnily enough, there was no reply to the final comment.

Rabz,

I am thinking there are a lot of people (perhaps your Erstwhile Mate is one of them) who are unable to admit they were had. Two shots and we’re done. Except we’re not. I have spoken to a number of people for whom the realisation is beginning to sink in. They grumbled about the first two but complied. They are not so keen on boosters forever.

We’ll see.

EM “If you don’t want it, you don’t have to”
No, I don’t, …

Yes, you do.
As Barnaby Joyce said a little while ago:
“People who think they have a choice on Covid Vaccination are in for a rude awakening.”

By Rude Awakening, i assume he’s speaking about how some Aboriginal Communities in the Northern Territory went from 20% Vaxed to 100% vaxed in a couple of days.

Luzu – these are supposedly intelligent people.

They have been had and they’re incapable of walking it back.

After five months of house arrest, I’m not in any mood to allow them to.

Yet to see the Branch Covidians hold a rally for more jabs, more lockdowns, more social distancing, more police checking papers, more loss of freedoms.

Who doesn’t want to see more of that?

This is exactly what happened in Kimber v Sapphire Coast (NSW).

The evil scum are never held to account.
Time for a reformation of the public service. At all levels.

There’ve been many stories like this including several Cat relatives.

It’s clear there’s an unwritten rule, thou shalt write no exemptions to the holy vaccination writ on pain of excommunication.

Thus you see the mendacity of this evil program. They are so single-mindedly pursuing this foul number, be it 80%, or 90% or 95%, that nothing must stand in their way. Nothing.

Given the data shows that the mRNA vaccines appear to go negative in protection after 7-8 months, and also appear to neutralize existing coronavirus immunity I suspect these people have caused a very large medical problem which will affect us for a generation. It makes thalidomide look like a wuss.

Exactly.
But what is worse, WE, the unvaxed, now have to allow THEM to “save face”.
Sorry, I don’t much feel like doing that at the moment. It’s worth living a restrained life
and watching from the sidelines at the moment.
Today a friend finally revealed that her son, who has been ill, has pericarditis which began two days after his Pfizer vax. The family got vaxed in order to travel.

Today I learned that the Australian Constitution is basically silent on the sorts of Right to Bodily Integrity that I assumed existed. The Victorian Human Rights Charter is likewise toothless.

This quote terrified me:

Judge Learned Hand [a great American
judge at the height of World War II and in an environment of great public fear
of enemy subversion] observed the following :
Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; when it dies there, no constitution, no
law, no court can save it; no constitution, no law, no court can even do much to help
it…And what is this liberty which must lie in the hearts of men and women?
…I cannot define it; I can only tell you my own faith. The spirit of liberty is the spirit
which is not too sure that it is right; the spirit of liberty is the spirit which seeks to
understand the minds of other men and women; the spirit of liberty is the spirit which
weighs their interest alongside its own without bias…

God help us, for it is gone from Australian hearts.

Next Saturday in Melbourne there’s to be a counter-protest against the last three weeks’ rallies. Yes, they’re countering people opposed to Dan’s Pandemic Bill. That is, they’re supporting legislation which would empower the government to lock people up indefinitely without any sort of trial on the basis of ethnicity, religion or political beliefs. They say they’re “opposing fascism”.

Like how how the SS Waffen’s Das Reich regiment liberated Oradour-sur-Glane?

I’d expect this sort of thing in a dictatorship, not a democracy.

Or a democracy morphing into a dictatorship.

We are very susceptible to this in Australia because human rights are fairly easy to override by parliamentary or ministerial diktat.

And all they need is a sufficently frightening “emergency” and most people will accept it.

  1. Looks like the phantom downticker found a new victim. How childish can you get? So be it, I can live…

  2. Why are we fixing something that isn’t broken? And then why are we choosing the least effective and the costliest…

  3. Real love and devotion to each other. We hear about the divorces and cheating of celebrities but hardly ever of…
