For an ‘educated’ population, the lack of logic is astounding. I have been vaccinated against Yellow Fever, so do I worry about walking around cities in Africa? Nope. If the vaccines work, fine. If not, tough shit. It would be ludicrous to insist hundreds of thousands of residents be vaccinated to reassure one visitor.

Hey Dover – appreciate your reading list. You link with some great reads.

But I think I am going bonkers trying to keep up with the fantastic websites I have accumulated over the last 2 years. It’s a real problem. I really think this is the most dangerous period re freedom I have experienced in my lifetime. I am convinced (& have convinced a generous spouse) that I must decipher every bit of accredited info that I can get on the virus & the global response to it. Quite frankly, I believe that our survival (from government autocracy & the coming global turndown/turnaround) depends on it.

The enormous info and the need to weigh it up and make sense of it, is daunting. But I really appreciate your efforts – and those of all the Cats – in feeding in the precious info. Thank you.

I have been vaccinated against Yellow Fever, so do I worry about walking around cities in Africa?

I am waiting for the chance to challenge someone on this.

“Think back two years. What did you understand a vaccine to do?” Only a liar or someone so mentally feeble that they cannot recall the past but only extrapolate back from the present, would answer anything other than “A medicine that makes you immune to a disease”.

Perhaps follow up with “How did you understand that to work?” Some people might have never thought about it, but those who did will likely say something like “They injected a germ or something into your blood and your body and your body would create antibodies to fight it. Those antibodies would then be ready if you came across the disease next time.”

The final question would be “So, what new thing have you learned over the last two years that lets the idea that you are only protected when someone else is vaccinated even though the vaccine does not protect you, make sense?”

Pauline Hanson is making waves in QLD and will make a big show at the next elections, so here we go again.

One Nation’s national executive treasurer Alexander Jones was arrested on Wednesday morning following raids on a Brisbane home and the party’s office on Holt St, Eagle Farm.

A complaint from the Electoral Commission of Queensland in January led to the arrest of the 22-year-old financial administrator after detectives from the Crime and Intelligence Command’s Finance and Cyber Crime Group investigated him.
