When being far-right is just right

“Emmanuel Macron has won the first round of the French election and far-right rival Marine Le Pen will fight him for the presidency for a second time.” This extract is from the BBC.

“France’s incumbent leader Emmanuel Macron and far-right challenger Marine Le Pen are heading for an April 24 presidential election run-off.” This is an extract from the ABC.

“France voted on Sunday…to produce a runoff rematch between Emmanuel Macron and far-right leader Marine Le Pen.” This is an extract from the Australian newspaper. I could go on and on.

Notice how Marine Le Pen has to be tagged far-right. Irritating for those of us on the conservative right who suspect we too would be tagged far-right if we were important enough.

Luckily this time around,Eric Zemmour, even further right because he opposes the Islamisation of France with even more vigour than Le Pen, gives Le Pen some protection from the globalist scolds occupying the media. Though not much. And now that Zemmour is out, all guns can be turned on “far-right” Le Pen.

Look, two sins to begin with: she wants French law to have primacy over Europe legislation and she opposes wind farms and wants more support for nuclear energy. And, a third, on immigration, she wants France to control its own immigration policies; to decide who can stay and who must leave. Echoes of far-right John Howard there.

It’s clear. If you’re for America first; or, in this case, for France first; in other words, if you are a patriot; like, say, Viktor Orban, you are, by definition, far right. How delicious to picture the Europhiles squirming when seeing Orban re-elected. Hungary for Hungarians. What, not for allowing in hordes of culturally discordant asylum seekers? What perfidy is this?

From now, I intend to describe myself as far right, if I think it will upset any lefties in sight. I’ll just slip it in. “Yes, well, you know, I happen to be far right, just like Viktor Orban.”

Conservatives, and perhaps only conservatives, know that the preservation of freedom depends on the integrity of the nation state. Of course, there are now grave threats from within. That’s no reason to add to them from abroad. It’s no mischance that Europhiles, globalists, collectivists, Marxists, greenies, open-border creeps, despise national borders. They despise individual freedom.

I just describe myself as conservative. But others have said I am to the right of Gengis Khan, nice compliment I think.
As for Marine Le Pen, she is just slightly right of centre.

Conservatives, and perhaps only conservatives, know that the preservation of freedom depends on the integrity of the nation state.

Conservatism, if it ever existed in modern times was the poorly disguised rear guard for the progressives.

Even the more attractive Traditionalism is dead.

Something new has to be created from this funeral pyre.
We just have to wait and continue to watch civilisation crash and completely burn first.

she wants French law to have primacy over Europe legislation

Amazing, isn’t it?

In the EU every nation’s representative’s vote binds more people in other nations than their own. And, conversely, for every regulation imposed upon a citizen anywhere in Europe most of the ‘authority’ comes from people in other countries with whom they have no political connection at all. They cannot vote for them, they cannot vote for the people that select them – a Frenchman has absolutely no say in who the Germans appoint.

The other funny thing is that things that were normal, even foundational, until a very short time ago, and often going back centuries, are labeled ‘far right’ as if some new fringe group of extremists have come up with it. That marriage is between a man and a women, that there are two sexes, that a country can and should be selective of their migrant intake with a view to impact on the citizens already there, that the government should mind its own business, that it should be following the public will rather than imposing their own, etc.

‘Far Right’ is the label leftists use to make common sense seem disreputable.

Step 1: Pull off probably the greatest propaganda coup in history and label the far left Nazis as ‘far right’.
Step 2: Define the Nazis by their racism. Therefore ‘far right’ equals racist.
Step 3: Insert the caveat that only white people can be racist. Thus Muslims can continue with their racism and anti-white racism is accepted.
Step 4: Link immigration control to racism.

And there you have it. Anyone who opposes immigration is far-right, racist and probably a Nazi.

All that the world’s far left, including 90% of the media, have left is propaganda labels they imagine are weapons, which simply deflect from their radicalism that no-one will ever vote for, which is why they have put so much effort into denying and covering up the theft of the 2020 US presidential election.

Democracy is the mortal enemy of the far left, which can’t win democratic elections without lies masking its true agenda – destruction of the family, dependence of the majority on government welfare as a replacement for the father and the end of the free market.

Ninety per cent of the news media has become a far-left political party and all of its output is 24/7 campaign propaganda.

The news media hasn’t been a source of news for nearly two decades because most journalists now see themselves as political activists who not only loathe the public, but can never be trusted to convey information impartially as it doesn’t fit a political agenda.

As I wrote on the OT this morning…

If the “far-right” Le Pen wins the presidency of France, wouldn’t that make her “centre-right”?

Because the electoral centre will have moved right, right?

And that would leave most journalists on the “far-left”.

Funny how if you currently have what would have been considered mainstream values only a few years ago, you’re labeled variously “far-right,” “white supremacist,” or even “Nazi”, while even those on the extreme left – BLM, Antifa, various Green parties – are almost never called “left wing,” let alone far or extreme left.

I quite enjoy describing myself as an “extreme right-wing extremist”, and then following on with a middlingly reasonable observation such as “and so I believe that a schoolteacher should be jailed if they present anything other that G-rated images or themes to someone else’s child”, or “and so I hope that grass-roots artists can connect with a market which values their work, free from the distorting interference of political commissions or funding” or, “and so I’m appalled that the government thinks that it should be in the business of running airlines, communications or an enforced medical police state”.

I’m not sure that Genghis allowed much freedom of speech among members of the Golden Horde. Indeed, his approach seemed to be very collectivist.

Throw their own shit at them. Don’t let their labels stuck. Whatever they call you, you’re something else.

Their definition of far right is akin to calling an octopus an aardvark. It has no meaning, and assumes individual rights are somehow radical thought. Fuck em.

As usual, George Orwell had it figured out

Particularly on the Left, political thought is a sort of masturbation fantasy in which the world of facts hardly matters.

“London Letter” in Partisan Review (Winter 1944)

What sickens me about left-wing people, especially the intellectuals, is their utter ignorance of the way things actually happen.

Mr Smith: I’m a conservative. But I do not find immigrants “culturally discordant”. In this country, they are in fact the population exclusive of indigenous people. A very large number were asylum seekers: quite a few in the early settlements, fairly large numbers in the 1930s onwards from the war. Then of course a variety of folk from Vietnam and so on – many of them asylum seekers. Lately, there has been a trickle of asylum seekers. But also a quite large flow of immigrants of a wholly usual kind, none claiming asylum. Over all that time the variety of cultural origins has been diverse . Yet there’s no real sign of discord?
Is there an issue?

Winston Smith: on the contrary, I’ve been quite present. I have been surprised actually by the remarkably easy time we have had with the rate of immigration. In fact I’m reflecting just now on the day at the beach on which quite a wide variety of cultural and racial origins were in evidence and many of them mixed together. And I’m enjoying a cool Colonial Pale Ale as I do that. Happy Easter!
