We’re rebuilding. We’ve got a really good full forward and centre half back, an elite forward pocket, and our back flankers are all good – hopefully one of our full back prospects comes through. As for our midfield, there’s some nice players but they are way too inconsistent. Not sure being young can explain that either, there are plenty of old blokes in there.
We’re trying to play this ultra-attacking style but we get sat on by more experienced teams who pick us apart easily on the counter. Will be interesting to see if it works better when this group grows up together.

Perhaps for the idealism needed for a national anthem replace “ragged” with “rugged” and “terror” with “splendour” (though anyone who has sensed the eerieness of the bush will relate to “terror”).
