In what way is this not true?

The authoritarian takeover of Australia is based on the terror felt by more than half the population that they are going to die from the Covid, fostered by the media and virtually every politician from coast to coast. This is how the article begins, but the real question is how will it ever end?

This once happy and freedom-loving nation is being crushed by its pro-lockdown elites.

People who once thought they’d won the lottery of life by being born in Australia now wake in fright every day to the sudden realisation that they are living in a 21st-century penal colony. The country they once loved has been replaced by something they barely recognise.

The restrictions imposed in response to the pandemic are just the start of it. People have been confined to their houses, prevented from going to school or work, denied the freedom to cross state borders even to see a dying relative, and coerced to take a vaccine in order hopefully to regain the freedoms that were once their birthright.

Worse, these restrictions are being imposed by authoritarians who have seemingly come from nowhere and now dominate all of Australia’s positions of power, from the government to big business. These people are unlike any ruling elite Australia has ever known….

Sadly, there are few signs of dissent, let alone rebellion, among the populace. Polling companies are finding that modern Australians approve of being locked down by the government and even admire the grim, tough-talking leaders who impose these restrictions on them.

More than half the population do not even appear to know they have lost anything worth losing. The year and a half that have slipped by since the two weeks to flatten the curve in March last year may just keep going on forever. And who knows? Perhaps a life as Elois is really all that most people have ever sought from life.

I couldn’t agree more.
In my small group of family, friends and acquaintances that is the prevailing opinion. All “inconveniences” are accepted in order to be protected from the scourge of Covid.

The Scottish Government wants its emergency coronavirus powers to become permanent – including the ability to order schools to close, impose lockdowns and operate virtual courts.

Our population would accept those draconian powers too.
Sad.

“There is a French book entitled L’Avenir De La Vie (“The Future of Life”) by Michel Salomon, who is a journalist and doctor back in 1981, he interviewed twenty scientists including seven Nobel Prize winners, and which thus relates his conversation with Jacques Attali, who at the time was the adviser to François Mitterrand. In that interview, it provides a clear warning of how they look down upon us, the great unwashed, which is the blueprint for what they are doing using Covid-19 to change the world economically and politically.

“In the future it will be about finding a way to reduce the population. We will start with the old, because as soon as he is over 60-65 years of age, man lives longer than he produces and costs society dearly. Then the weak and then the useless who do nothing for society because there will be more and more of them, and especially finally the stupid ones.

Euthanasia targeting these groups; euthanasia will have to be an essential instrument of our future societies, in all cases. Of course, we cannot execute people or set up camps. We will get rid of it by making them believe it is for their own good. Too large a population, and for the most part unnecessary, is something economically too expensive.

Socially, it is also much better for the human machine to come to a screeching halt rather than gradually deteriorating. We won’t be able to give intelligence tests to millions and millions of people, you can imagine!

We will find something or cause it, a pandemic that targets certain people, a real economic crisis or not, a virus that will affect the old or the big, it doesn’t matter, the weak will succumb to it, the fearful and the stupid will believe it and ask to be treated.

We will have taken care to have planned the treatment, a treatment that will be the solution. The selection of idiots will thus be done by themselves: they will go to the slaughterhouse on their own. “”

but the real question is how will it ever end?

I’ll be living in KRudd’ beachside mansion at Noosa. Sipping a cocktail, exhausted from the day’ work of pushing Kevni and Therese out to sea. I’ll be waving to Steve Kates and Dover Beach who have taken up residence in adjacent mansions and later discussing the various ways of opening the secret safes hidden behind high-priced artworks. We’ll be reading the Cat and other unvaxxed posters will be telling tales of having taken up residence in Point Piper, NSW and Portsea, Vic where they’re using the very stairs DAndrews fell down. I’ll also be giving away Therese’ clothes to morbidly obese homeless people.

“ More than half the population do not even appear to know they have lost anything worth losing. ”
This has been the case with property rights for around three decades now.
I have been involved in groups trying to highlight the erosion of property rights over the decades but it’s difficult to get traction with the masses against a barrage of well funded eco agitprop. Politicians make all kinds of promises but fail to deliver once given the power.

The population are getting very restless. They have the internet and see what is happening elsewhere. The young under 40’s are particularly restless and they have a growing voice. It will not be up to us older people, although we can guide the young. It is their future and more are realising they have been sold a pup. With Covid anyway. Soon enough, with Net Zero Emissions, they will start to realise the wheels have fallen off other sale they have unwitteningly agreed to, and sparks will fly.

That’s my hope anyway.

I find it amazing that after WW2, a frenchman of all people would propose this. It sounds a lot likethe plans of that Austrian Corporal

Just looked at two things on The Daily Telegraph site.

One, an ‘accredited staff member’ answering questions about the minutiae of what you can do under lockdown, where the answers are risible at times. Yes you can have compassion for your elderly parents and cross LGA’s to see them but not for your disabled son, that’s not in the rules etc. Silly things like that. And the level of control and its insane variables is simply heartbreaking in any non-Gulag society.

Second was the political fall-out from Gladys’ statement that we ‘would have to learn to live with the virus’. The usual commenting naysayers about how great Dan is in comparison, but whenever a serious comment emerged recounting how we need to open up asap and detailing why, then these comments raise up to over 50 ‘likes’. The populace is making its feelings felt, and compliance is going to slide fast if these silly rules remain.
