Polly Rodriguez, 34, CEO of vibrator startup Unbound, said a Gen Z employee asked on a Saturday how the firm would support Black Lives Matter

I know which employee to put on the Larry Pickering Memorial giant black dildo production line.

In-N-Out Burger tells California Gov Newsom where he can stuff his forced covid jab edicts:

“We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business,” the statement said. “This is clear governmental overreach and is intrusive, improper, and offensive.”

In-N-Out gets it. Oh, and they make awesome burgers as well.

Cohenite:

In addition there is some credence being given that he shat himself when he was meeting the pope, which if true is beyond irony.

Shitting oneself in public appears to be an ongoing issue with this administration…

@ Winston:

“Higher prices for energy was the aim of the Greens and their political hacks.
The high prices were meant to cut back energy use.”

A death cult’s gotta do what a death cult’s gotta do!

Throughout history, COLD has killed BILLIONS more people than heat. Either outright via hypothermia or via starvation brought on by the loss of “wild foods” or crops and livestock..

It’s the PLAN, Stan.

Top Ender:

“The fight did involve some use of some weapons and as a result of that a couple of people had to be conveyed to the hospital, with non life threatening injuries but quite nasty,” Sgt Howie said.
“One guy was hit by a shovel – from my understanding they might have to undergo some surgery.”

Not just the Territory, TE.
One night in Laverton W.A. I got three from one family who had used – yes – a shovel on each other to enforce family discipline.
Mum hit the son and broke his ankle + nasty laceration to the foot, Dad hit mum with the same shovel half an hour later and gave her (IIRC) a nasty little concussion + the obligatory laceration.
While I was sewing up mums head, someone gave dad a whack with the same bloody shovel and carved up his leg reasonably well.
The son was quiet because I’d called the doc and he’d ordered lots of morphine. Mum and Dad were threatening to have a dingdong in A & E and I’d had quite enough thank you. Stood on the verandah and shouted at the mob – and they were a mob, it being little payday – “Nobody is getting any more treatment until that bloody shovel gets handed over!”
I had this sudden glimpse of myself as the Pharisee at the stoning of the old bloke in Life of Brian.
Good times.

Just got back from Bunnings before I’m ‘locked out’. Man so many people still wearing masks outside. Crazy. I saw one bloke not wearing a mask inside, nobody seemed to give a shit.

They have ‘security’ at the entrance which causes a bottle neck forcing people in close proximity, pretty dumb. I fake QR coded like usual.

But the bigger thing was that the atmosphere was generally quiet negative, like something has changed for the worst, where it was me or the general feel of the place I don’t know. I think it’s time to find a new country. One that values freedom. I no longer belong here.

Sancho, I’ve just done a run to my second son’s place in Redfern delivering Panadol and cash. He called for help this morning saying he had splitting headache and sore throat. Did you have your second Pfizer jab? I enquire, because there’s a lot of real Covid in Redfern public housing, and he says yes about a week ago. Maybe it’s a reaction to that I say. Or maybe you have Covid. Perhaps get a test? And I’ll deliver some cash and Panadol in a bag, wear a mask out to meet me because I’m not too well either with lingering kidney infection and my resistance would be lower. Masked up with these talismans like posies against the plague, we chatted outside at a distance for a few minutes as I handed over the goods. In this area it looked like just another a drug deal. Which of course it was. 🙂

Hope Panadol is holding the fort for you too, Sancho, vs whatever jab you received. Panadol Extra is keeping me going till specialist’s review on Friday, with its 135mg of caffeine included. Highly recommended. No good at bedtime though.

Pretty quiet around here today. Everyone out to lunch.

It’s my country. It’s the other buggers who don’t deserve it and should leave.

I no longer belong here.

Razey, it’s the zeitgeist. I am no longer sure what makes anyone belong anywhere.

It’s life on a knife-edge, unwieldy, uncertain, dispiriting. How are the little fledgies? I ask Hairy when I get home from more ultrasound prodding. Gone, he says. Disappeared. No sign of them, nor mum.

The crows are cawing in the distance. Must be better days to come, I say to no-one, searching the skies like a farmer looking for rain. It is one of those days that sit heavy, where time is stuffed too full of dreads to move. A doldrums of a day.

@Lizzie:

I think it was Gen. Patton who told his troops, (paraphrasing a bit):

“Nobody ever did any good dying for his country:

The goal is to make the other poor dumb bastard die for HIS country.”

This partly explains why “civil” wars have a well-deserved, very bad reputation as being extremely “uncivil”: Two, (or sometimes more) sides; ONE country.

Never forget that the two-way rifle range is a pretty unforgiving place and ALWAYS has been. Furthermore: You may not be interested in War, but War may be interested in YOU.
