How Africa defeated COVID so decisively without vaccines

Read this alongside the story posted earlier this month about the Ivermectin scandal!

Part of the African continent’s success is no doubt due to a fortunate accident of microbiology, infectious diseases, pharmacology and immunology.  It so happens that two of the most effective treatments for COVID, ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, are also routine prophylactic weekly medicines throughout equatorial Africa, because they happen to be known for a half-century as the most effective, applicable and safest anti-parasite medications.  So the population, particularly through about 31 countries, the tropical middle rectangle roughly, of Africa already were well-equipped prior to COVID events launching in late 2019 to early 2020.

As fortune would have it, the unpatented and relatively inexpensive half-century old drug ivermectin, whose inventors won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 2015, [14] also has been the most effective medicine against COVID, [15] due in part to its specific effect against RNA transcriptase, as well as its blocking effect on all three parts of the trimeric spike protein, and other mechanisms. [16]

Hydroxychloroquine is also used widely throughout at least equatorial regions of Africa as a prophylactic against parasites, but which fortunately has now been studied extensively and used successfully as both prevention and treatment of COVID disease, and as inhibitor of SARS-CoV-2 replication and activity.  This is shown in over 380 studies conducted in 55 countries. [17]

Africa didn’t defeat covid. There was no virus to fight.

Because they used something that has essentially zero side effects (IVM instead of mass vaccination), they didn’t do themselves any harm.

Quite a few papers showing stronger evidence – the correlation between covid mortality rates and ivermectin usage within Africa.

eg:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7968425/
https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.03.26.21254377v1

Covid infection rates are 7x lower, mortality almost 10x.

On the energy/climate front I find it interesting that there are s few more critical articles now making it to press. Perhaps not in mainstream media in Australia yet, but I think it won’t be long before some of the more honest and educated journalists follow suite. This article appeared in Newsweek https://www.newsweek.com/climate-activism-isnt-about-planet-its-about-boredom-bourgeoisie-opinion-1773846. In essence it postulates that billionaires such as Gates, Bloomberg, Bezos, Cannon-Brookes, Gore et al spend enormous amounts to lobby for climate action and to influence the media so they can act as grand planet saviors (up there with the Roman Gods) whilst protecting and extending their own financial interests.

This was apparent from the beginning of the Ivermectin scaremongering. Anyone who used the John Hopkins dashboard could see early in 2021 that many parts of Africa – but particularly Equatorial Africa was resisting the scourge of Covid very effectively. To those who did minimal research, it was highly probable that this was due to the prophylactic use of Ivermectin (& probably Hydroxy).

  1. The proliferation argument about civilian nuclear power is a crock. Any governement which wants nuclear weapons will acquire them irrespective…

  2. Scrolling the Oz. Pezzullo to be stripped of his Order of Australia. Have they gotten around to doing the same…
