Coming Electricity Shortages in the US

Think the U.S. electric grid is immune to blackouts? The region which consists of 13 eastern states and the District of Columbia expects to retire 21 percent of its existing generating capacity through 2030. That is, fossil-fuel power plants are retiring much faster than renewable sources are being developed,

China Continues to Build Coal Plants for Energy Security

Local governments in China last year permitted 106 gigawatts of coal-fired capacity, about four times more than in 2021 and the equivalent of two large coal power plants per week–a total of 168 coal-fired units spread across 82 sites.

Rafe gives a signal boost to this moonbat, IamSpartacus:

· Engineers should tell us the truth about the danger of 5G

Definitely implying a danger there.
Of course we welcome engineers telling the truth about whatever they have especially qualified in.
Re: 5G, there is no evidence anywhere in the world that electromagnetic radiation of wavelengths longer than 1cm have any non-thermal effect on living tissue. If you find any, do share, but you will be the first.

The only foreseeable danger is downloading propaganda faster over 5G Internet connections vs 4G.

It is becoming increasingly hard not to assume that the elites in the West are conspiring to destroy Western Civilization.
Bemusing, because it is so obvious that it will all end very badly, however wealthy or powerful you are.

You do realise that high bandwidth signals are the main issue, not the nominal carrier frequency, right?

Kneel,
You do realise that high bandwidth signals cannot modulate the nominal carrier frequency so much that they spill into the frequency range of the next higher channel, right?
The allocated channels have a bandwidth, within which the transmitted signal must stay.

The only concern about 5G bandwidth is what nefarious uses that they are put to, to further control our lives. That’s data rather than biological impacts.
