New dude who sits next to me (not in my team) is a very devout Muesli. He heads off to a room several times a day to say his prayers.

Nice guy, smart too, but the guy immigrated from “regional Afghanistan” (is that Iran?) 😛

He is insanely in love with cricket and stays up all night watching his beloved Afghanis, wherever they are; never misses a game.

I’m dying to ask him the conflicting question: “So, the Afghani Government has banned cricket… what do you think?”

Strange world.

Without “doxing” myself, eons ago I worked at picturesque place called Victorian Parliament (it truly is a beautiful building, regardless of the scum inside), in sitting weeks, on Tuesday I’d normally finish up around 1am, back at work Wednesday 8am to 10-11pm and then Thursdays 8am to 5pm.

They’d pay for a taxi home. I got this one Muesli guy and he asked if I could be his regular (given the $100 ride per night not bad). Absolutely loved the guy, always waiting outside for me with a couple of chilled beers he’d always buy me and a few ciggies for the ride home.

Now, that’s what we need more of in this country!!!

Years ago at the dawn of the internet, Alex Jones was positing about a global cabal hiding behind the curtain conducting all manner of conspiratorial nastiness. His main focus then was the Bilderbergers, but as time went he expanded that focus as new knowledge came to light. Often via the internet.

The (CIA owned) MSM predictably labelled him a nut job and “conspiracy theorist” , but as time has gone on his “theories” became actualities and common knowledge. The WEF, The Swamp, the EU Commission, Gates, Big Pharma, Big Tech, the Censorship Cartel, the CIA war mongers, FBI injustice, the Surveillance State, the deviant and elite p3do networks, Hollyweirdos, the LGBTQI nazis, the obscene corruption in the US Bureaucracy and WH etc.. who consider us plebs no more than sheeple. These parasites who live off us.

Jones was then a pioneer of exposing what was to be coming at us and he copped a LOT of ridicule for it.

Despite all his flaws, I’m glad Jones stuck it out. He has to be a tough cookie to take all that kind of heat for so long.

Agree Makka but he was still wrong on a lot of things as well.

I tuned out in about ’09 when he said FEMA were building mass prisons for US citizens who didn’t comply with Obama’s ruling on something or another.

True, they made our homes prisons during ChinaFlu but not quite the same (and 11 years later)…

Ok, but his premise was entirely correct : the political , financial and corporate elites are in cahoots to not only want to fleece you of your hard earned. They seek to control every aspect of your life so they are not subjected to discovery and retribution.

That’s enough to be right about imo.

An unimportant person with an irrelevant speech at a pointless event – that the cost is being paid by taxpayers is a disgrace.
The “ welcome to country”?
Nonsense as always, but I think the the speaker was not comfortable giving a talk. The rising inflection at the end of each sentence suggests nerves.
The familiar, meaningless ritual of a welcome to country – actually an acknowledgement of aboriginal primacy- was used by the speaker as a “ break the ice” technique – the first couple of sentences were just automatic patter to get her nerves settled a bit.

Interesting comments Rockdoc.

I know nothing about the serve size that you get at Maccas and KFC, but our service club works with both outfits to identify, select and train kids to apply to work for them.

The kids are outstanding. It is embarrassing to think back to my own selfish, useless adolescence when confronted by these kids.

If you do encounter indifferent service, please, please contact the management. We view jobs at Maccas and KFC as pathways for our future responsible citizens.

I don’t eat it very much and am used to the indifference. However the size was noticeable.

My mate had a better experience of indifference at Macca’s Burdell a while back, getting a coffee early on a Sunday morning. His words “FFS 16yo’s or similar age loudly, unabashedly talking about alleged sexual acts with boys the night before, after waiting few minutes I just said hey look I don’t give a f^%$ about the blokes c&*k you sucked last last night would you mind getting some service here and I want a (Insert whatever Latte)”.

He’s ex Army and doesn’t mince words, also has daughters but said even to to his surprise it didn’t even raise an eyebrow with the girls, just a bit of surliness and finally service.

Dunno might be a NQ thing.

How the f*cking f*ck can 15 wickets fall in a day on what is, compared to old WACA pitches, a very benign Perth pitch?

Makkas is generally pretty good everywhere on our travels up and down the east coast. One thing they could improve on – teach the kids how to wrap a wrap up properly. It falls apart as soon as you pick it up. Doesn’t worry me, as I only eat the innards anyway, for keto joy, but Hairy likes to eat the lot without it being all over his hands.

Malone points out the consequences of the typical tactic of illegal immigrants destroying their own ID documents before crossing.

RWMaloneMD 15h It isn’t about the people – forcing them or even figuring out where they are from – it is about the countries not having to accept them. Is Venezuela, for instance, going to take back gang members or criminals they have released from prison to go to the USA – going to take back people without documentation? Would any country take back any person without documentation?

Seems like a major problem for Trump’s mass deportation ambitions.

@VigilantFox

REPORT: One of the most heavily vaxxed counties in America is now facing a heart attack crisis.

98% of people in King County, WA (Seattle) took at least one COVID shot, and the data is not looking good.

A peer-reviewed study has found a jaw-dropping 1,236% surge in excess heart attack deaths among King County’s 2.2 million residents.

2020: 11 excess heart attack deaths
2021: 75 excess heart attack deaths
2022: 111 excess heart attack deaths
2023: 147 excess heart attack deaths, a 1,236% increase compared to 2020.

Moreover, cardiac arrest deaths, in general, rose about 25% from 2020 to 2023. In the same time frame, King County’s population shrunk slightly.

Reflecting on this alarming data, Dr. Peter McCullough said, “So it looks like the vaccines are the smoking gun.”

“This is now fully peer-reviewed in the emergency medicine literature. We’ve messaged the Medic One unit in Seattle. They clearly need to do more research to figure out how soon these vaccines were administered and to whom.”

I heard an interesting rumour about Dutton’s nuclear plans.

Apparently, the construction contract will go to an international tender. Whichever country wins the contract, the construction site will be declared the sovereign territory of that country for the duration of the construction.

Looks like somebody has released a nuclear version of Clive Palmer’s 2012 China First FIFO proposal.

Desperation must be rising when the anti-nuke movement has to wheel out Miserable Ghost to rattle his chains of wrongology:

Signing nuclear deal would shred Australia’s credibility: Turnbull

Long a critic of Mr Dutton’s leadership, Mr Turnbull said nuclear would not complement renewable energy.

“That is nonsense. That’s gaslighting, quite frankly,” he said. “What complements renewables is something that is flexible. We have 4 million households in Australia. Over a third of all Australian homes have got solar panels on. It’s the highest percentage of solar household solar penetration in the world.”

Oddly, the rest of the world is turning to nuclear to replace renewables, not complement them.

The inflexibility of rooftop solar is also making the grid unmanageable during daylight hours.

But otherwise, on the money…
