The number of deaths is reliant on the follow up of cases to determine the outcome of their infection. The follow up of cases is not a requirement of notification, and are only inclusive of laboratory-confirmed cases of influenza.”
Of those, 135 were subtyped and 28 proved to be from A(H1N1)pdm09.
That’s right! That sneaky little bastard Swine Flu from 2009. It’s been with us ever since.
If the distribution holds, that means approximately 139 of those 662 flu deaths were from just the Swine Flu variant.

In the dim recesses of my fading memory, I recall whooping cough as being very severe for young kids. Let’s hope it remains a threat not an epidemic.

I was listening to a podcast yesterday which provided estimates for (world) excess mortality.
1918 was about 1%, subsequent flu pandemics have been 0.05% (1957) or less. Covid is currently 0.06%.
So covid is a very very bad flu pandemic, but still an order of magnitude less than 1918
That even if a GP these days can even recognise it as whooping cough — In 2019 a friend went to the GP because she was sure she had whooping cough and wanted clearance because she was travelling to Melbourne to see a relative who’d just had a baby — GP: No no you don’t have whooping cough — My friend: are you sure I am seeing blah blah blah new born — she went Luckily because of her reservations she did not hold/cuddle the infant or go in close proximity but when she returned she had herself checked again — and yes she did have whooping cough — physician heal thy self indeed.
There is an interesting commonality amongst most (because I haven’t checked them all) of the previous ‘serious’ pandemics.
That is, they inordinately affected the younger age groups, in contrast to the standard Flu behaviour.
1918 – “The high mortality in healthy people, including those in the 20-40 year age group, was a unique feature of this pandemic.”
1957 – “Two-thirds of pandemic-related deaths were among individuals <65 years of age.”
2009 – “Globally, 80 percent of (H1N1)pdm09 virus-related deaths were estimated to have occurred in people younger than 65 years of age.”
What does Covid do? It rarely kills those under 65.

COVID is better labelled as on “opportunity” than a pandemic.
Of course after crushing freedom and liberty the cabal of arseholes that are government will declare victory over something quite benign, therefore justifying future draconian responses to nothing disease events.
We are in deep shit even if this lunacy ended tomorrow.
The Plandemic…
It was exploited for a number of reasons… some political, some dealing with the great re-set with Globalists and ultimately CHAYNA benefiting the most.
But probably not here in Australia. I’d say were were the backwaters that no one could be bothered with – we already had wall to wall socialist governments, our industry was totally outsourced and all were were good for was digging stuff up, growing food and maybe a spot of snorkliong on the reef.
We had no plan for the plandemic and our leaders took cues from overseas, and then doubled down on the inevitable failures.
Being good socialists they can’t admit error so the initial stuff ups are compounded and our “strong leaders”, spurred on by the baying greenfilth media, have imposed totalitarian measures not much below those imposed in pre-war Germany. [I mean – where and when else in the western world have jews been banned from and jailed for celebrating Rosh Hashanah?].
I am not sure why. But I suspect that our health services are so mismanaged that they can not cope with a couple of hundred additional sick.
This is why COVID cases are sent to recuperate at home – and murderously in retirement villages, and there is this non-sensical and totally fraudulent narrative about nirvana if Vaxxed, Vaxxed and Vaxxed. [Listening to the NSW 11am download, vaccine or a related word is used every sentence and usually multiple times.]
EVERYONE knows that the vax is about as useful as the “Pee” in Pfizer.
The vaxx does not stop you from being infected and the vaccinated infected carry a viral load similar to the unvaccinated infected. The only thing it appears to do is to reduce the severity of the infection… i.e. lower likelihood of needing medical assistance.
And this is why I think the push and the narrative was to “lockdown to flatten the curve” and now to get the vaxx into everyone. All to reduce the need for hospital services. [Suggesting a couple of hundred cases will bring down the health system!]
I just haven’t figured out a logical reason why they want to push the vaxx on the kids. They MUST know that is just so dangerous and unnecessary! If there are long term effects – then the GOVTs are exposed criminally as we know that the vaxx contract explicilty says that Pfizer is indemnified and not responsible! All I know is that the push is making Pfizer snr management richer beyond billionaires dreams.
Which is why all of the WHO modelling and international fora declared influenza to be the virus of interest.
