Can you remember what it was called?
I reckon I’ve seen it before (at least some of the old footage) and wanted to view it again to get my bearings on the old buildings and streetscape.
There is a film called Melbourne, The lost city. It is a documentary with historical footage. It was shown in independent theatres, eg. Lido year before last.
Something like Lost Melbourne or Forgotten Melbourne. It did focus on movies and theatres.
It reminded me that Whelan the Wrecker was condidered to be a celeb in the 60’s and 70’s.
