Rang my old dad earlier. He was just back from doing that terrifyingly dangerous and pestilent thing known as fishing. With a mate. I doubt he’d been using a mask, I didn’t ask. My impression in their town such heinous activities are ignored by the local plod, which suggests country police have not entirely been separated from their sanity unlike in other places.

My dad is still unwell. All his troubles came hard on the heels of being vaccinated. His doctors are “mystified”. Hmmm.
Anyway, he was pleased to see me. A bit of a distraction from physical misery.
I spent all last week at the farm. Dad dropped in 2-3 times a day to check on progress, initially hesitant about catching the COVID but in the end didn’t care.
A great week in hindsight, I also think both Mum and Dad were far happier at the end week than the start thanks to a bit of normal interaction.
The Bat Eared Mong is an anti-human cretin who presumes to know what is best for all of us.
This is going to leave a mark. I reckon most of the red states are going to go a similar route.

Doctor son believes it will at least 2 months more and remarked that the cancer deaths after will be more than Covid deaths by streets. He is battling with staffing problems due to tier 1 contacts and the number required to be in isolation with his nursing home patients .
