Good Try, Dan, Fail!

This flashed across my FB feed this morning.

The kids have got it sussed.

It only took Covid to get Dan to fund more adventurous skate parks.

We can now fill the hospitals with kids who tried to do a rail slide on a precariously balanced block of concrete.

  1. Good on you kids.
If a few more adults had half their guts all this oppression would come to a shuddering halt.

  2. Operating manual for psychopathic bullies in politics: sik the police onto the kids.

Vicpol’s fat donut eaters, take a bow: you’ve been made fools of by the innocent children you tried to turn into criminals and are now a national laughing stock.

  3. This made my day . . .

It’s been very hard today for me, no particular reason, but the unending sense of melancholy I have at present is getting more difficult to bear.

  4. I particularly liked the finger gesture at the end.

I seem to remember that they did something similar to the skate park in Venice Beach in California. Bulldozers drove up and buried the park in sand. Within a few days the kids dug it out.

I have far more respect for my grandkids’ generation than I do for our leaders.

  5. Where there’s a will, there is always a smart kid who will find a way. Well done, son, the bird flip at the end was a nice touch.

  6. Wolfman,
Sorry about your condition. I know it’s unpleasant but it will pass.
Endure. That’s how you beat the fascists.
You have a heap of people here to give you support.
Just avoid those that are as nutty as an almond macaroon.

  7. Being a keen watcher of the design side of culture- does any cat recognize the logo on the kid’s sticker?

Definitely nothing to do with the military.

  9. Ah this reminds me of a life growing up in country Vic when many of us kids (and adults) built bike jumps by the river. Sadly the council come down without any warning and flattened our tracks and jumps with a bobcat.

When we inquired why they would do such a thing, they replied because of the environmental impact on the area.
Safe to say the bobcat didn’t harm any vegetation as it was plowing over our months of hard work.

Great to the kids stick it to them.
