Their collective grief is insurmountable

This was on the letters page at The Australian today: The Grief of Parents. It is a lament from someone who can find almost no sympathy from anyone who could actually do something. We live in the saddest of times when this is the only avenue for someone to get this message out more widely.

The Grief of Parents

I am a member of numerous support groups for parents of children and young adults who have declared a transgender identity. In all these cases the declaration of a transgender identity has come completely out of the blue, giving parents good reason to be sceptical of their child’s sudden ideation. As parents who have raised and nurtured these young people, we are being increasingly marginalised and undermined by teachers, medical professionals and now the courts.

Our scepticism and calls for caution, due to the irreversible nature of hormonal and surgical interventions, are derided by health professionals who seem to have no qualms about turning these young people against their “unsupportive” parents. Families are being torn apart with the immediate “affirmation” of a nebulous identity by clinicians.

Many parents know their children have been groomed online. Many children come from backgrounds of trauma, such as family separation, bullying or sexual assault. Many are on the autism spectrum. All that parents want is caution, exploratory therapy and a return to the medical ethos of “Do no harm”.

The mental health of these parents is overlooked. They are struggling. Their collective grief is insurmountable. Having our children taken away from us (“Court dismisses appeal in transgender teen removal case”, 29/9) is not the solution. Too many families have already been destroyed by this phenomenon.

What will it take for our health officials to heed the calls of these distressed parents?

Thank you for this Steve, Ms Hunter is a brave woman. I’ve actually just sent DB a piece to upload dealing with this sinister ideology. I cannot believe we live in a society that allows this mutilation to happen to children and encourages it. And yes, these children are being groomed, online, by perverts. This is the essence of queer ideology…and it is being aided and abetted by media and political scum.

Speaking of political scum, here’s some Liberal scum.

Back in June of this year, Senator Malcolm Roberts of One Nation put up a motion that called for a “wait-and-see” method for treating children with gender dysphoria and the motion also condemned giving children “experimental and unproven medical treatments of irreversible puberty blockers and sex hormone treatments, and irreversible transgender surgery”. Hmm, seems reasonable doesn’t it? Some Coalition senators supported One Nation, such as Attorney-General Michaelia Cash and National Disability Insurance Scheme Minister Linda Reynolds and nineteen other Coalition senators also One Nation’s motion.

However the motion was defeated 35 to 23 because some Liberals including…among them…

Foreign Affairs Minister Marise Payne
Finance Minister Simon Birmingham
Aged Care Services Minister Richard Colbeck
Superannuation Minister Jane Hume
Dean Smith
Andrew Bragg

sided with Labor and the Greens.

Senator Bragg said afterwards. “Supporting minorities is an important part of the liberal tradition,” he said.”

Clearly he and his fellow Liberal scum have no problem with the mutilation of children.

Madness. What sort of people do we have in Parliament?
Ok, I know. But to sink this low takes a special kind of hubris.

Day by day I hate the lieborals just a bit more. In Vicco it’s a little bit tempting to feel sorry for them. I counter that by thinking of Hunt and Tehan

Raymond Wolfe:

A report written by an epidemiologist consultant to the American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) and published by ACPeds last month found “compelling evidence” for treating gender dysphoria with therapy, rather than drugs and surgery, after reviewing more than a dozen studies.

“For decades, many of transgenderism’s researchers and clinicians have promoted a false ideology: if a man, woman or child claims to be a member of the opposite sex or expresses a keen desire to ‘change sex’ through hormonal and surgical intervention, then there is nothing one can do but ‘affirm’ or facilitate that person’s belief and desire,” the report said….

According to the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, up to 88% of girls and 97.8% of boys grow out of gender dysphoria by adulthood. Studies on the outcomes of gender-confused kids have consistently found that the vast majority do not persist in gender disorders beyond adolescence.

Practices that “affirm” illusory, so-called “transgender identities” are “based on smoke and mirrors” and have “resulted in many harms,” the ACPeds report said.

“The ‘affirmative’ model of care for patients with ‘gender’ identity disturbances essentially fast-tracks vulnerable people into a life dependent on exogenous hormone supplementation and surgical after-care, without helping them resolve their underlying psychological issues.”…….

Puberty-blocking drugs risk “serious permanent side effects including osteoporosis, mood disorders, seizures, cognitive impairment” and sterility, while cross-sex hormones put youth at increased risk of “heart attacks, stroke, diabetes, blood clots and cancers across their lifespan,” according to ACPeds. Research also shows that hormones drugs for gender dysphoria typically lead to permanent, mutilating surgery, like the amputation of reproductive organs.

The harm done to families is heartbreaking, many already struggling with children presenting with difficulties due to other identifiable sources of stress, such as familial conflict, sibling rivalries, troubles with schooling, ADD or various levels of autism. Groomed on the internet, their children are clutching at the utopian solution to their problems offered by these false helpers. All will be well and their lives changed if only they change their gender.

This stuff is a CULT. Kids need to be deprogrammed from it.
It is time we as a society recognised this and took legal action against it.

If these medicos and politicians had been in power in the 1980s when anorexia nervosa was a fad they would have mandated stomach- stapling and strict calorie restriction as the cure.

The creatures responsible for this creepy idiocy need to be removed from any position of power or influence as of yesterday and at the very least, sentenced to spend the rest of their pointless existences in gaol.

Yet another manifestation of the degeneracy and collective insanity currently infesting western countries.

Ms Hunter is very brave: the Academics Lawyers and Perverts Party will want her in jail.

And the SFL are useless. The Victorian Liberals have furiously denied they have any intention of repealing Andrews’ Stalinst ‘anti-conversion’ laws. Whimpering, simpering, gibbering, sniveling, piddling cowards.

Isn’t even discussing this technically illegal in Dictator For Life Dan’s Victoria?

  1. Reposting this lest it gets overlooked as a nested comment. I urge all commenters to heed Roger’s request and to…

  2. Huh. The face of the Statue of Liberty is that of Isabella Eugenie. Isabella Eugenie Boyer’s face inspired the design…
