Covid madness in a single moment

This has gone round the world a hundred times already but just in case you missed it. An astonishing confrontation between a crazed [maskless] woman and some male trying to get through a flight while drinking [and therefore also maskless]. It is women [and men] like her that are keeping us from returning to normal life, where we all just go on about our business.

The story is told more comprehensively here. She was also arrested when the plane finally landed.

And for what it’s worth, which is next to nothing to people like these, 150 studies show masks ineffective, harmful.

THE STORY CONTINUES: EXCLUSIVE: Raiders cheerleader turned high-flying realtor is revealed to be the ‘Delta Karen’ – arrested for vicious assault on 80-year-old passenger who took his mask off to eat (and she wasn’t wearing a mask either!). Naturally not covered by the American media but in the Daily Mail in the UK.

  • Delta passenger Patricia Cornwall was arrested by the FBI on Thursday after getting into an altercation with a male passenger for not putting his mask on
  • Cornwall, 51, was a former cheerleader with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to her social media
  • She worked as a real estate agent in Los Angeles but appeared to have relocated to the Florida panhandle in recent months
  • The older male passenger had been eating at the time he was approached by an unmasked Cornwall and told to ‘mask up’
  • The pair shouted expletives at each other with Cornwall hitting, scratching and spitting at him during the row
  • She was then pulled to the back of the plane by crew members and other passengers where she was detained for the remainder of the flight
  • Cornwall was taken into custody when the plane reached Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
  • Other passengers and flight crew members reported also being injured as a result of the attack
  • An FBI source told DailyMail.com that Cornwall is due for an initial hearing on Monday at the Federal Courthouse in Atlanta

What I had not known was the age of the mail passenger. That, too, is revealed.

A high-flying realtor who worked for Coldwell Banker and Berkshire Hathaway in California has been revealed as the ‘Delta Karen’ who was arrested by the FBI for attacking an 80-year-old passenger on a plane after he removed his face mask to eat – while she was herself maskless.

Such an astonishing story is so many ways. It really is time to give up on masking the population. What is more astonishing to me is how everyone in America seems free to travel about, with or without masking up.

  1. I think the entire narrative is beginning to unravel. It’s the fully vaccinated that are now getting the virus, going into hospital, put into intensive care and dying.

It is impossible to blame the unvaccinated given the percentage now fully vaccinated. And how many are living in families where there may be at least one member who hasn’t been vaccinated and had no issues?

The Narrative is that the Unvaccinated are carriers of a more virulent strain, they pass it on to Grandma, who, while Fully Vaxxed, can’t handle the extra virulence.
    Therefore, Unvaxxed bad!

  3. It would be nice to think so bemused, but while there is so much as a single person still “unvaccinated”, they will be blamed. The media have spent far too much time training the general population to believe that. And even if they managed to force every last living person to get the jab, they’ll move on to some other group.

The governments of the western world have gone completely mad with lockdowns, passports and all the rest, but they went there because of people like the woman in this story demanding that they do something. There is no reward in the world of todays’ politics for someone who knows that the best thing for government to do is nothing.

  4. When the likes of the Age are reporting somewhat negative stories about vaccinations, I think things are starting to unravel.

Professor Robin Shattock, head of mucosal infection and immunity at Imperial College London, likens the process of acquiring immunity through vaccination to “rolling a stone up a hill”. The problem is keeping it there.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has reportedly raised the eye-watering sums involved in several high-level COVID meetings, warning that a regular booster regime could soon start to affect national spending. It has been estimated that additional boosters, should they be required every three to six months, could cost an additional £5 billion ($9.2 billion) a year.

  7. What I have noticed is that these vaccine and mask zealots always describe those who are incline to a different apprehension of the virus and its effect as killing people or at blithely risking killing people.

That is how serious they think the virus is.

I don’t really understand how this kidding is done, they just have a sense of its perniciousness, it’s fiendish cunning, and its malice. It is a fell and evil spirit.

They are afraid for themselves, a shadowy shapeless menace where what the cannot see terrifies them more that what they can, needs release. The theatre of masks and boosters provides some reassurance.

Just as we scream out in pain and feel a bit better for it (although it does nothing for the injury), or curse the chair upon which we stub our toe, or punch the wall when frustrated, these people demand ever more masking and locking down to let them feel safe.

As ineffectual as the scream, the curse, or the punch. It is the expression of their fear.

And like so often with desperate frightened people, they will climb over anyone, cheat, lie, denounce, or kill, in order to secure their own safety.

This woman is edging toward the last of those.

    Absolutely wrong on every count.
Multiple sites have confirmed her name as Patricia Cornwall, and the fact that she was arrested by the FBI.
Incidents such as this on domestic airlines come under federal jurisdiction.

  14. The madness spreads, as planned.

Several times a week I see cars being driven by the sole occupant, who is wearing a mask. With the windows closed.

This level of cretinism IS the plan.

Blind conformity is the goal, especially as the next horror and fear-pron campaign lurches forth.

And the next one, and the one after that. Straight-up CONDITIONING.

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”

I reckon the Fed’s could tweak the Privacy Reg’s overnight to make this happen if they really wanted to.

    What a strange headline.

The couple are afraid of an outbreak. Do they have any especial expertise or authority? Surely no more than a person bitten by a dog becomes an expert on dogs or someone who gets a broken TV becomes an expert on quality control in the electronics industry.

The couple themselves I expect are just two people caught up in Covid fever. They would have been contacted by the ABC and asked questions which they answered honestly enough, but from which the ABC twisted into yet more rope to bind their captive audience.

Perhaps this is their idea of how to put a human to this manufactured threat – in conjunction with the rogues gallery of opportunistic ‘experts’, these representing hearts and minds in that same order.

The lust for power. Note that major corporates, dominated by institutional investors, are happy to “go woke”, regardless of any potential effect on their bottom line. In exchange, they receive access to power of the kind usually restricted to governments in the past.

The love of money might be the root of all evil, but the lust for power comes a very close second.

This, I think, is the major issue when it comes to the virus. People are in utter terror and seemingly need immediate confirmation over the slightest sniffle. I’ve had a runny nose, sore throat, aches and pains and they have gone away in a couple of days.

Why immediately run to get tested when you’re not even close to death’s door? Even if tested positive, and you’re not at death’s door, what can anyone do for you? If you feel unwell, stay at home, take a Bex and lie down. Why sit in your car for seven hours for an elephant stamp?

US airlines are pushing for an unruly passenger list but in the absence of that she won’t fly Delta again and now her name is out she will likely be a flagged trying to book elsewhere. So be it, we all make our own decisions and hers may have consequences.

Buttegeig recently said an unruly passenger list is on the table but a view of the FAA website reveals an explosion of incidents since 2020, the escalation is a recent thing. I’m in 2 minds about these lists. I have seen plenty of bad behaviour on aircraft, fortunately never to screaming and shouting, so for the more serious of infractions (i.e. you are detained or are abusive) I would support it but as we have seen lists like that could be misused i.e. Terrorist No Fly list.

The Liberal Party has been taken over by lite/queer/green elements and the National Party is next. Please convince me that Pauline Hanson and Mark Latham are not the only alternative to absolute stupidity. The Constitution is clear. There shall be no restriction in intercourse between the States. And appointing a general who has never won a war to oversee a flu-level medical incident is not even something out out of a lame ABC sitcom.

Would you be saying the same thing if that woman’s hair was rainbow coloured, tats everywhere, nose rings etc and she was swearing, spitting and attacking you? If this woman started acting like this to your child, how would you behave?

If women want to be treated as equals and they behave like I would behave in a proper and respectful manner, I will treat them with the respect they deserve (men as well), but not when it comes to righteous cows behaving badly. As I noted earlier, my response would start with ‘Fuck Off!’.

I’m not the sort of person that forever turns the other cheek, because I think I’m better than the other person. This is also why the Left has gained such a foothold, because those who think they are better are always turning the other cheek.

    Report comment

  32. Too many people have been indoctrinated into believing the wrong thing about “turning the other cheek.

How it is supposed to work is this:

In a “tense” situation, if someone just up and smacks you across the chops, turning the other cheek, (whilst carefully adjusting stance, distance and situational awareness), is a test.

If the blow was a momentary loss of control and the heat is gone, repairs can be made.

If a second blow is launched; their life is forfeit.

Furthermore, the conventional, institutionalized churches seem to be very shy about this bit of scripture:

    Luke 22:36

King James version of Jesus words to the disciples at the Last Supper::

“Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.”

  34. Would you be saying the same thing if that woman’s hair was rainbow coloured, tats everywhere, nose rings etc and she was swearing, spitting and attacking you?

If she was swearing at me, absolutely. It’s also not what I say, it’s what I’d do. And, in most instances, behaving in the manner I described above means the encounter doesn’t escalate into spitting and violence from her. But if it did, then I would defend myself accordingly, do what I could to record the incident, seek witnesses and follow up with the authorities.

If this woman started acting like this to your child, how would you behave?

I think you can use your common sense to figure this one out. Incidentally, I would be especially conscious of setting a good example to my kids of how to be calm whilst assertive when being confronted. The last thing I would want my kids to see in that situation is their father being unable to control his temper and resort to childish shouting, swearing and name-calling, which is what we saw from the 80yo.

If women want to be treated as equals

Ah, here is your error. This was never a gender issue for me. If a male (I wouldn’t describe him as a man) was confronting me in such a way, I would respond as described above. This is not some theoretical discussion of ‘best practice’, by the way – this is how I have responded, and will continue to respond to, confrontational situations with strangers on the odd occasion they arise.

And I see you’re still attacking that ‘turn the other cheek’ strawman you set up before. Look – I never suggested the old dude (again, not a man) turn the other cheek. I said he ought to have dealt with it in a more dignified and masculine manner. As opposed to behaving like an angry teenager.
