My experience in Australian cafes is generally very good.
It’s a very competitive market, I don’t think sloppy service operators last very long.

Which of course is THE EXACT OPPOSITE of what I posted, but that doesn’t matter when you’re trying to rally more people like you to wear out your problem.

Your problem being someone who isn’t standing for the very Leftist attempts to use a ridiculously false claims of racial & religious vilification to get someone ‘cancelled’.

Your bigger problem is that you lot have backed the repeated, actual, racial vilification of Ukrainians & Eastern Europeans in an effort to get more (racists?), on your side and attacking the person you’re vilifying.

My local is Chinese owned, before I left they had a new Australian employee (first one in a long time) , who was keen as mustard.
After a rolling six months of take away only they were hanging on by skin of teeth as was the take away next door.
My point though was pre pandemic new cafes were popping up everywhere and in that environment offering poor service would be not a good idea.

In other news, those two leg sawing enthusiasts appear to have been engaged in a consensual business transaction.

Who remembers this? (Fava beans and Chianti are optional)

Victim of cannibal agreed to be eaten

In one of the most extraordinary trials in German criminal history, the self-confessed cannibal admitted that he had met a 43-year-old Berlin engineer, Bernd Brandes, after advertising on the internet, and had chopped him up and eaten him.

On the evening of March 9, the two men went up to the bedroom in Meiwes’ rambling timbered farmhouse. Mr Brandes swallowed 20 sleeping tablets and half a bottle of schnapps before Meiwes cut off Brandes’ p3 Nia’s, with his agreement, and fried it for both of them to eat.

Brandes – by this stage bleeding heavily – then took a bath, while Meiwes read a Star Trek novel.

In the early hours of the morning, he finished off his victim by stabbing him in the neck with a large kitchen knife, kissing him first.

The cannibal then chopped Mr Brandes into pieces and put several bits of him in his freezer, next to a takeaway pizza, and buried the skull in his garden.

Over the next few weeks, he defrosted and cooked parts of Mr Brandes in olive oil and garlic, eventually consuming 20kg of human flesh before police finally turned up at his door.

“With every bite, my memory of him grew stronger,” he said.

Over the next few weeks, he defrosted and cooked parts of Mr Brandes in olive oil and garlic, eventually consuming 20kg of human flesh before police finally turned up at his door.

Behind bars, Meiwes told detectives that he had consumed his victim with a bottle of South African red wine, had got out his best cutlery and decorated his dinner table with candles. He tasted of pork, he added.

The accused, however, has a unique defence: that his victim actually agreed to be killed and eaten.

‘Very hard to understand a nation who, through its own wilful ignorance, will cause our grandchildren to abandon all hope.

A truly thoughtful person would, I think, pause when they are presented with a ‘I say one thing, but everyone else says something else’ dilemma.

He might at length determine that everyone else is missing some key point, but then you say what it is to move the point beyond all cavil.

The retard makes me think of Friar Tuck (for his obvious corpulent indulgence) with an enormous pointed iron rod up his arse (for the rigidity and unseen unyieldingness of progressive thought).

As Gawd is my witness, I wish him nothing well (and nothing ill) as only then might he realise the cost to himself and all those who are blighted by his shadow are paying for progressive wet dreams.

Okay, maybe I am hoping the iron rod has spikes.

Roberts-Smith threatened to ‘smash’ superior officer in face, court told
By Michaela Whitbourn and Georgina Mitchell
February 21, 2022 — 1.17pm

A high-ranking member of the Defence Force has told the Federal Court that former special forces soldier Ben Roberts-Smith threatened him at a military bar in Afghanistan, leaving him in shock from being disrespected by a subordinate.

Person 69, a senior military officer, gave evidence in Mr Roberts-Smith’s defamation case on Monday that the then-soldier turned to him in 2006 at the unauthorised on-base bar, known as the Fat Ladies’ Arms, and said: “What the f— are you doing here? I should smash your face in.”

Person 69, whose identity cannot be revealed for national security reasons, was not a member of the SAS but was a captain at the time, the Federal Court in Sydney heard. Mr Roberts-Smith held the much lower rank of Lance Corporal in the SAS.

“I was in shock because I’d never been spoken to that way by a subordinate. I didn’t really know what to say,” Person 69 said. He said another soldier told Mr Roberts-Smith to “pull your f—ing head in”.

Person 69 told the court he had been threatened three times by members of his own team during his 24-year Army career and he could recall “exactly” the year, the person and what was said each time because “it has a profound impact”. He said he left the bar and “never returned”.

One of Mr Roberts-Smith’s barristers, Bruce McClintock, SC, put it to Person 69 that it would be “ludicrous” for a junior soldier to speak to a superior in this way, and the alleged incident “never happened”.

“That’s why I remember it. It absolutely did [happen],” Person 69 said. “I remember when one of my teammates makes a direct threat to me.”

“You hadn’t met my client Mr Roberts-Smith before, had you?” Mr McClintock said.

“I hadn’t had a direct conversation with him, but I knew who he was,” Person 69 said.

Who it’s well known are often underpaid and exploited.

It’s actually not well know. More and more payment traffic is going through Eftpos and credit cards, which offers very little room for grey market payment.

It’s actually very well known. Stick with the facts. If we had a system that didn’t pay people to do nothing we’d have a much more flexible labour force;

Many of the situations that have arisen in
this research have indicators that existing
Commonwealth trafficking offences may
have occurred: none have been the subject
of referral to the AFP or any investigation by
DIBP or other agencies. These are complex
situations in which unlawful workers owe
money, have passports held, are forced to
work (as a result of owing money) and live
in abject conditions – none of which they
believe they can do anything about, other
than leave that location to find alternate
work. They are working for very little pay
and in some cases are not paid for their
work.
In at least one situation recounted in
this study, a man was forced to work to have
his passport returned.

Can’t guarantee that, it’s up to the horse, once you’re underneath it, pure chance as to whether or not you get trampled on.

Given the rather stout ponies and the snowy / icy conditions. The woman was lucky to not get more seriously injured or killed, and the police lucky to not have a coronial inquest and a PR disaster on their hands.

Clearly you think good policing is defined by the luck of outcomes rather than what is actually done.

‘Fell’ with the obvious implication ‘in crush when police horses moved through crowd’ , ‘knocked over’, but not ‘trampled’.

Rosie, every video shows the horses, a long train of them, two abreast, walking right over the lady & knocking her down.

Whether a hoof was planted on her depends on how crowded the horse was, left to their own devices horses will not stamp on anything that isn’t a sure footing – it is near impossible to get a horse that is making its own way to place a hoof on a log, a swag, a cushion, or person lying prone.

If a horse did put a hoof on that lady, she’d likely have suffered grievous bone injury & not been able to stand at all – she’d have been a time-critical ambulance-to-the-hospital case.

Those weren’t Shetland ponies in that video, those coppers were riding bluddee near Draught horses.
There’s a lot of weight coming down on that one hoof. Just having one stand ever-so-briefly on your toes (inside riding boots) is enough to change the focus of your day.

Off-grid farmer, Stephen Douglas Price, was evicted by the state for refusing to use electric, sewage, and water utilities (he uses a septic tank for crop fertilizer and collects rainwater from his roof). They cut down all of his trees and are planning to bulldoze and landfill his entire garden.

This case is a small preview of what will happen to those who try to escape Agenda 21 by hiding out on homesteads. No “Smart” home? Sorry buddy, but it’s getting bulldozed unless you let us install an AI supercomputer to micromanage your life. Get in the pod and eat those damn maggots.

I haven’t been a ‘vax shill’.
I’ve said I believe based on the available evidence, vaccines reduce the chance of hospital and death (for those that are in the obvious well known risk categories) and that it should be an individual’s private medical decision not influenced by political considerations either way.
The idea that people who live in another state might be at risk should refuse vaccination to defend (twostix’s) ‘rights’ as he demanded Lizzie do, was repugnant to me, and remains so

I never supported vaccination mandates, not even for the over sixties, so don’t bother to read that in, I don’t think salvini intended his remarks to mean compulsory, only that it would be unwise, based on the available evidence for over sixties not to.

I’ve read Russia has 100,000 troops on the border with Ukraine. I’ve also read in the past that you need a ratio of 3 :1 if you’re the aggressor party in a war. At least that’s about the rough rule in order to have decent shot at winning. Ukraine may not be the pushover Uncle Pute thinks as he doesn’t know what weapons the Ukrainians have in their possession. It wouldn’t surprise me if the US fitted them with some really decent bespoke gizmos in order to give Uncle Pute a black eye.

Anyone have any thoughts on the 3:1 ratio?

In the 90s, we kind of knew he was a little on the left, but he appeared to be more like a moderate, Bill Clinton-on-the-left type and there was nothing really controversial about him. He was a great, great commission payer too. When I say “he was a great commission payer”, it just means his fund and therefore his execution desk paid excellent commissions. I don’t mean like him personally. We found out later that if you went there for a job interview and praised his book, The Alchemy of Finance, you got a job at the fund. 🙂

The outlandish stories get put forward by the Paedo Networks themselves, to be used as cover smoke when ever people notice & mention grooming activity.

Some get sucked in and go hunting everything but the guilty, who are expert in blending into society.

Some are the guilty who get off as much by boasting about what they get away with, by laughing that they’re joking.

Yesterday I posted a video on how specialists recognise grooming behaviour.

A key quote was, “They don’t just groom children, they groom families & communities.”

Teaching a community to mock & ostracise those who recognise grooming behaviour is part of grooming a community to not believe and/or turn a blind eye to actual offences.

In the late 1980s and 1990s George financed pro-democracy movements in eastern Europe, particularly Hungary. In fact one of his foundations paid for Victor Orban’s scholarship to Oxford in the early 1990s.

Strange man.

Bern

An old pal worked there for about 8 years. He was really cynical about uncle George to the point of making people laugh.

As told to me.
He started working there just around the crash of 87 and Uncle George actually got hit in the fall. Someone sent a fax with a hand drawn smiley face to Uncle G. My pal saw it and asked the CFO what was that about. The CFO replied he shouldn’t worry about it because Uncle G got that sort of stuff all the time…. All the time!

My pal was in Uncle G’s office for meeting. He noticed G had no freaking screens on his desk. It was a beautiful office decked out with very expensive looking antiques. He asked G where were the screens and and G looked at him in absolute horror suggesting a screen would destroy the wonderful look of the office. G also told him that he had an idea where markets were without a screen anyway.

Last story

They were at their regular weekly investment committee meeting and G is looking at the investment sheet and blurted out a question about a particular investment. He wanted to know who invested in the stock but there was silence. G couldn’t contain his anger and told the dudes that he would find out who invested in the dog and he’d fire them. The CFO finally retorted in an exasperated tone that it was G’s brother in law who had told G to get into the stock.

Neither George nor Victor’s termini ad quem were known back then.

Liberalism, like all ideologies, has entered its final, self-destructive phase.

Orban realises that, whereas Soros apparently either does not or doesn’t have a problem with it. I note he’s delegated most of the management of his political funds to his son.

I’m not to sure what he gets out of invading Ukraine.

I’m pretty sure he will ‘win’ the initial conflict but the hardest part will be keeping the peace over 6 months, 1 year, 2 years etc. The best equiped army in history had big issues with suicide bombers and roadside bombs in Iraq. Eventually they left with thousands of dead and little to show. Russia doesn’t have the resources of a US and if the body bags keep on coming back at a decent rate then he will quickly lose the population and be forced to crack down at home.

I think he playing a massive game of bullshit. His biggest card is keeping the gas flowing through the pipelines. That’s why the French are taking the led in negotitations for the EU. The Germans hand is pretty awful to start deal with.

A couple of times I said that, I think it was Matteo Salvini was right, vaccines should be for over sixties, optional for forty to sixties and unnecessary for under forty.

Rosie, I think vaxxes should be optional for everyone.

If 60+ are worried, by all means make the decision, especially the frail aged and co-morbid. Younger groups should have been clearly shown the risk factors (hospitalisation and death from Covid only) and then decide.

There was never a need to jab children. Ever.

As for sacking anyone who refuses, that is an abomination.

If the government was genuinely interested in “health” they would have strongly pushed lifestyle changes that promoted weight loss – we all knew right at the start that many of the dead were seriously overweight.

Indeed. Bar securing a strategic asset, and ensuring the safety of ethnic Russians I don’t see why they’d want to invade the bulk of Ukraine. That said, the more the US and NATO talk up an invasion and it doesn’t happen the more they lose credibility. Not really a losing situation for old Putin overall.

I agree calli,
The message I got from Salvini (Italian right wing) wasn’t compulsion but strongly encouraged.
I think even the French right wing are on the same page.
“No top French presidential candidate has come out against the Covid-19 vaccine outright. Even those campaigning far to the right – Éric Zemmour, Marine Le Pen and Nicolas Dupont-Aignan – have encouraged the elderly and the vulnerable to get vaccinated, all the while walking a fine line to keep both pro- and anti-vax segments of their electorates onside”
From my posted france24 article, Zemmour’s comment below that quote was perhaps a little more supportive.

Eyrie, this is just an out there hunch, but I think it’s a bit of an American trap. If the Americans have supplied the Ukraine with anti-tank gizmos and anti aircraft missiles, putemesiter could end up receiving a few whacks to the head. It wouldn’t be pretty for him losing most of his tanks and his aircraft decimated.

I also read about the sanctions. They’re seriously nasty. Russia would be thrown out of the Dollar payments system, the US would be pressure on the UK to force the oligarchs to sell out of their assets. The kids of the Russian elite would be deported from US and UK + Euroweenie universities. Trade would be blocked and this means all they exchange for oil&Gas + military equipment + hookers would be embargoed. Also, the Pute is the richest man in the world with a reported net worth of $US 200 billion with a huge portion held in Western banks. This part of his wealth would be at risk as a result of confiscation.
