I missed the first one. The tectonic plates are shifting though.

I’ve lived it vicariously courtesy several well-penned tomes.

It’s said that in ’62 Kennedy was determined to keep channels of communication with Russia open and negotiate a settlement on Cuba because he’d just read The Guns of August, which was published that year.

What does Joe Biden read? Other than his teleprompter, that is.

No timeline on Libs’ voice position: Dutton
Angelica Snowden

Peter Dutton says there is no timeline on when the Liberal Party will release their position on the Indigenous voice to parliament.

The opposition leader said he will continue to work with Anthony Albanese on the proposal but will not declare whether he intends to support it or oppose it until the Prime Minister releases further detail.

”I think the difficulty is that a lot of the detail is either a moving feast, or they just haven’t settled it,” he said.

“And I’ve asked for the details so that we can make an informed choice and I think millions of Australians are in that position.

“Our timeline in part is dictated by when the Prime Minister is prepared to release the detail.”

Another 5 Year Plan for North Korea. Just like the demolished Soviet Union.

“North Korea is experiencing a critical food crisis, experts say.

The country is no stranger to chronic food shortages, but border controls, poor weather and sanctions have worsened the situation in recent years.

Top officials are expected to meet at the end of February to discuss a “fundamental change” to agriculture policy, state media has said.

This is a “very important and urgent task” amid “pressing” farming issues, news aggregator KCNA Watch reported.

The news comes as Pyongyang continues its displays of military might.”

You know, there is a maxim, cannons versus butter. Of course, national defence is the top priority, but in resolving strategic tasks in this area, we should not repeat the mistakes of the past and should not destroy our own economy.

We have everything we need to both ensure our security and create conditions for confident progress in our country. We are acting in line with this logic and we intend to continue doing this.

it will likely take place in Moldova.

Moldova isn’t happy with Vlad right now.

[Moldovan] Prime Minister: “Dangers, growing. We need to calibrate our defense capability”. What is the situation on the left of the Dniester (18 Feb, English version)

According to the prime minister, the left bank of the Dniester must be demilitarized ” by evacuating Russian troops and demilitarizing the natives ”, and later, the economic and social integration of citizens is important.

Russia has 3 BTGs in Transkleptostan, the ribbon of territory they control along the bank of the Dniester. The Z has leapt upon this:

Zelenskyy announced Ukraine’s readiness to help Moldova with Transnistria (21 Feb)

So far both nations have tolerated the Russian force in Transnistria, which has been sitting there for many years, but that may now change. Meanwhile a bit of subterranean black stuff seems to be going on.

Revealed: Leaked document shows how Russia plans to take over Belarus (21 Feb)

According to the document, issued in fall 2021, the end goal is the formation of a so-called Union State of Russia and Belarus by no later than 2030.

Interesting leak, if that’s what it is. I was a bit surprised with the Ukraine invasion since I thought Belarus would be the most logical, and easiest, target. Which perhaps is why Lukashenko is so keen to keep his army at home defending him from his enemies and also his…friends.

So yes, a bit of Sarajevo-style unpleasantness could indeed light a spark or two. Which didn’t work out well for Russia last time. Fortunately Lenin is dead and gone now though.

“Quite independent of the grid, with just a switch to turn on during main grid failure.
Could have a small battery so that it would work overnight.”

Run it full time off the battery/inverter, and have a controller that “float charges” the battery from the grid when there is no solar panel output and battery is below specific charge point, otherwise solar panel will charge it. No switches required. Only charges from grid when needed, maybe with manual over-ride so you can top up the battery from the grid when you expect a blackout etc. Use car batteries so you can charge them from the car, just in case – get the “deep cycle marine” ones.

Ok – so let’s assume the least-worst scenario – that this training is for use in foreign deployments, peacekeeping missions etc.

Even in that case, the military should not be fulfilling that role. That is a civilian police function.

(BUT – I do note that our defence act allows the GG to call out the forces on its own population.

Nothing here about the kids welfare or safety coming first. It’s all about the Andrew’s government being first. Having worked in this field if you don’t put the kid’s safety and welfare first, you will have no clear principle to guide social welfare staff, police or the courts. It will become a nightmare to administer, with the end result leading to more child deaths and suffering.

But it is now along with most of Australia and other Western Nations. However, with 39 Billion Australian Dollars a year the locals have not really improved their life expectancy. After several months, it worked. She grew great boobs!

One morning she was running late, and in her rush to leave for work, she realised she had forgotten her morning ritual. At this point she loved her boobs and didn’t want to lose them, so she got up in the middle of the bus and said “Scooby dooby dooby, I want bigger boobies”.

In reply to the spoof gargling recommendation and general lowering of tone here is a lovely love poem:

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O, no! it is an ever-fixed mark,
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

Take that peasants!

While Albo plays “Great White Father” in South Headland, in the real world, women are bashed for welfare money….

Kununurra sees more hungry children and threats of violence since Cashless Debit Card was scrapped
Sarah CrawfordThe West Australian
Wed, 22 February 2023 7:48AM

‘The women said they liked the Indue card because they always had money to buy food for their kids.’

An East Kimberley town has experienced double the number of children going to school hungry, fewer people spending their money at the supermarket and more people heading to the bottle shop since the cashless debit card was made voluntary.

One former Kununurra youth worker said women had reported they were threatened with violence by family members if they didn’t opt out of the welfare scheme, which quarantines up to 80 percent of payments.

As Prime Minister Anthony Albanese headed to Port Hedland for a special Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, leaders and community members from Kununurra described the negative impact the scrapping of the cashless debit card has had on their town since the Federal Government made it voluntary in October last year.

Kununurra and Wyndham welfare recipients have opted out of the CDC program in droves, with 95 per cent (1120) ditching the card in the past four-and-a-half months.

Shire of Wyndham-East Kimberley chief executive Vernon Lawrence said he received regular feedback from community members and leaders about what impact they were seeing since the income-management scheme was abandoned.

“I have been informed by members of the community that the estimated number of children going to school hungry has doubled, and that those with credits at the tuckshop have requested refunds,” he said.

The Kimberley Echo has also been told that there has been a 60 per cent increase in students using the breakfast club and emergency lunches at school.

The Department of Education said it could not confirm the increase in demand for breakfast at the school because the numbers fluctuated each day.

A former youth worker who wished not to be named said women had been forced off the CDC, known as the Indue card or white card, by their relatives.

“The women said they liked the Indue Card because they always had money to buy food for their kids,” she said.

“They say it’s not a choice (to opt out) because if we don’t come off them we will get beaten until we do come off it. It’s not an option they want their money,” she said.

Twitchy Business – Joe Biden Meets With Moldovan President Maia Sandu

February 21, 2023 – Sundance

All of the geopolitical deep weeds followers generally agree, if/when the U.S. triggers the first direct military strikes against Russian interests, what one might call the modern Archduke Ferdinand moment, it will likely take place in Moldova.

As a consequence, a very strategically weak and easily influenced Moldovan President, currently Maia Sandu, will be the manipulated leader who next puts her country in harm’s way.

Moldova has a significant population of pro-Russia citizens in the east, which makes the internal domestic dynamic a little strenuous to manage. It is very similar to Ukraine in that regard.

White House – President Joseph R. Biden Jr. met today with Moldovan President Maia Sandu in Warsaw. President Biden reaffirmed strong U.S. support for Moldova’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He highlighted ongoing US assistance to help Moldova strengthen its political and economic resilience, including its democratic reform agenda and energy security, and to address the effects of Russia’s war against Ukraine. (link)

It’s almost a guarantee at this point the CIA and U.S. State Dept. have ongoing strategic operations in control of Moldova.

Coincidentally, or not, there is also a large population of ex-pat Moldovans in/around Jackson Hole Wyoming in the USA.

Moldova has also applied for EU membership.

The Rise of the Neocons

From Armstrong Economics –

“It is time, to tell the truth about what is really behind all the chaos and why our Government is pushing for World War III. People may talk and mention the Neocons. However, they do exist and they are by no means simply Republicans. In fact, this report traces their origins and their links extend back to the rise of Marxism and their origin was actually within the Democratic Party.

Nevertheless, the Neocons are really a third Clandestine Party that exists between both the Democrats and the Republicans. Who are they? Where did they come from? How are they now in Control? This will be a special report that is no doubt politically revealing to say the least. To everyone’s shock, it was the Neocons who started the whole Climate Change agenda to set in motion undermining the world economy to shift power for their grand design and to undermine Russia.

This special edition is to inform everyone who the real enemy really is. They have full control of the Biden White House and their agenda is in full swing. We have no right to object. They have already decided there will be World War III with the end goal of eradicating everyone they view as their enemy. There is so much more to this than meets the eye.”

Chairman Xi Plans Moscow Visit, Putin Suspends SALT Treaty, Maersk Exits Russia, Biden Talks Moldova, Planets Aligning for War

February 21, 2023 – Sundance

First things first, history may not always repeat, but it always rhymes. Secondly, history tells us that only two things have ever pulled what we now call “western nations” out of a collective economic depression; (1) war, and (2) housing starts.

If you accept the WEF climate control agenda of a ‘managed transition‘, where economies are reduced in size to match lowered energy production, as generally speaking akin to a western economic depression.… then, you begin to ask the logical question. How do the managers avoid the consequences?

If global (non BRICS) economic contraction is akin to a western economic depression; I would argue the consequences are identical; then when major economies are in a state of shrinking and the citizens are feeling the horrible effects, something large is needed to change the economic equation.

With central banks raising interest rates to achieve the policy supporting contraction, the option for ‘housing starts’ to change the dynamic is removed. That leaves, ‘war’.

President Putin and Chairman Xi are not stupid men. They are big picture strategists.

?DATA POINT – Russian President Vladimir Putin’s move to suspend his country’s involvement in the last remaining arms control treaty with the U.S. came as a disturbing surprise to multiple former officials who negotiated the pact and nonproliferation experts committed to ending the expansion of nuclear forces. (read more)

Can you blame him? The Western Alliance has already blamed Putin for the global food crisis they created by the World Economic Forum energy policy shift. The Western Alliance accepts no responsibility for advancing hostility -through NATO expansion- on to Russia’s doorstep. The Western Alliance has attempted to sanction Russia out of the global economy. With the same Western Alliance now positioning for war, why would Putin adhere to their limitations?

?DATA POINT – Chinese leader Xi Jinping is preparing to visit Moscow for a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the coming months, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the plan. (read more)

Can you blame them? Pay no attention to the Reuters narrative woven inside the article about China wanting to negotiate peace. To accept that narrative is to believe there is no dragon behind the panda mask. This far into the geopolitical awakening, to say the dragon doesn’t exist and hold its own interests (belt & road, and/or Taiwan), is really quite silly. BRICS exists as an economic alliance of like-minded nations for exactly this geopolitical dynamic.

?DATA POINT – Shipping and logistics group A.P. Moller-Maersk (MAERSKb.CO) has agreed to sell its two logistics sites in Russia to IG Finance Development Limited, it said on Monday, nearly marking the end of its business activities in the country. […] After that, Maersk will not have any business in Russia. (read more)

The major multinationals always position themselves to avoid the consequences of war. Additionally, Moller-Maersk is already going to feel a major financial impact from the shrinking of the Western economies they generally service with their cargo transportation. Smaller economies = less cargo = less ships = less revenue. Moller-Maersk has to pick a side; they are aligned with the Western Alliance. Hence their exit from Russia. China/India will eventually fill the void. Again BRICS.

These are data points just in the last 12 hours. In addition to these data points from today, the saber rattling from the DC foreign policy and war machine financial system is on display in the Biden policy as transmitted from Warsaw. Again, just today.

Last time I was in Madrid I saw an African street vendor drop his bundle after a couple of cops gave half hearted chase, the female cop, in particular was never going to catch him.
Yesterday in Plaza Mayor a police van rolled up and a bunch of municipal police got out and wandered down a side street.
On the other side of the Plaza street vendors were getting ready to get on the move in case police came their way..
The white pieces of cloth on which they display their wares now have connecting ropes sewn on them for a quick gather up and they were making sure the ropes were ready for a hasty retreat.
Still playing cat and mouse.
I also wandered up to Prado, last time I went for a hour when it was free to public at 5pm on the weekend, though I went at 6pm and walked straight in, the queues to get in at the beginning of the free period midweek at 6pm were incredible, has no idea, I had something else I wanted to do at 7 so didn’t bother.
Going to go earlier today and pay the £15, on the road again tomorrow.
Sol has been ripped up to replace the paving stones and save the environment, for the small cost of €10 million euros.
Someone should tell our government the Spanish will have climate change under control once that project is finished.

Get down there Cassie and rip shreds of these arseholes. Daily Telegraph:

A “kink and BDSM-inspired” mural in the Sydney CBD of a “furry” leather-bondage man with a teddy bear head has been slammed for being “inappropriate” and “creepy” in a public space.

The painting, created on a Wynyard street wall by “YCK Laneways”, a consortium promoting local shops in nearby streets, is part of the WorldPride festival, but has been likened to the recent Balenciaga fashion house scandal linking adult sex themes to children.

Online reaction to the image, depicting an overweight man with bondage straps laying on a rainbow flag on a couch with a bear and the logo “YC Gay” was scathing, with some calling for it to be removed.

Grassroots campaigners Collective Shout spokeswoman Caitlin Roper said children should not be exposed to sexual fetishes, but that the mural would attract their attention because of the use of “appealing” teddy bear images.

“The widespread condemnation of Balenciaga for their BDSM-themed ads involving children demonstrates that many people strongly object to involving or exposing kids to this kind of content,” Ms Roper said.

“Kink and BDSM-themed imagery is not appropriate for the public space which includes children.

“The global research is clear – sexualising children by exposing them to adult, sexualised or pornographic imagery harms their physical and mental health, beliefs, attitudes and sexuality in a range of ways.”

“There are other ways to promote diversity and inclusivity that don’t involve adults imposing their sexual fetishes on an audience that includes children.”

A North Sydney mother, who asked not to be named after the issue of the mural caused a blow-up on a Sydney mother’s Facebook group, said the image was “very jarring” when she encountered it last week.

“It’s clearly inappropriate, exposing children to adult things like that,” she said. “It’s right near the train station where there are plenty of school children.”

Online, the image attracted criticism when it was shared by the YCK Laneways social media under the headline “Happy Pride”, with some questioning the hairy figure as “furry” and “creepy”.

“Why is a teddy bear in bondage meant to represent Pride?!” one commented. “The gay community worked hard for years to distance themselves from this sort of representation. Small children will be walking past this.”

Another added: “Why would you think this is appropriate to display in public?! A fat, hairy, alcohol drinking, bondage wearing teddy bear man on display where people walk past to go to work, and in full view of children.”

The YCK Laneways consortium said the mural was in place to celebrate World Pride and would be removed on 5 March.

“YCK Laneways is an inclusive precinct which welcomes and celebrates a variety of communities and sub-cultures from across Sydney,” a spokesman said.

WorldPride was set up to promote and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and human rights across the world.

It will be Sydney’s biggest event since the 2000 Olympics and is being held in conjunction with the annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras between February 17 and March 5.

“World War III Has Never Been Closer Than It Is Right Now”

Trump Calls Out Victoria Nuland And Other “Warmongers”

New video message from Donald Trump today, warning about World War III and calling out “warmongers” from Biden on down. Trump posted the video embedded below to Rumble earlier today, with the following description:

President Donald J. Trump announces his plan to defeat the America Last warmongers and globalists in the Deep State, the Pentagon, the State Department, and the national security industrial complex

In the video, Trump calls out Victoria Nuland and the State Department for supporting uprisings in Ukraine and elsewhere, and driving the region toward conflict. Trump promises to clean house of Nuland and the rest if he is elected back to the White House in 2024.

Trump’s Timely Warning About World War III Risk

Trump’s warning about WWIII risk is timely, as there are suggestions the Ukraine War may be about to expand. Over the weekend, the new Prime Minister of Moldova called for Russian troops to be expelled from its Transnistria region that borders Ukraine.

And today, there have been rumors that Russia is planning to seize the airport in Moldova’s capital, which sounds unlikely,

But might be being spread as a casus belli for a Ukrainian incursion into Transnistria.

As @RWAPodcast points out, these rumors aren’t new, but the recent Ukrainian military activity in the region is.

As for why Ukraine might want to go into Transnistria, reportedly the Russians have one of the largest ammo dumps in Europe there.

Enter The Dragon?

Meanwhile, a Chinese state-affiliated media account suggested Russia buy advanced weapons from China to break the stalemate in the Ukraine War.

Zhao also suggested that China should send an equivalent amount of weapons to Russia as the U.S. has sent to Taiwan.

Voice focus to come in second half of year: PM
Tricia Rivera

The voice to parliament is a “gracious and generous request” that Anthony Albanese will be focusing on in the second half of the year, with the process of recognising treaty to follow.

“I want [the voice] to be in place during this term… and then there will be a process of putting [treaty] in place,” the Prime Minister said.

“There are negotiations taking place with state governments, but my focus as the national leader is very much on voice and on constitutional recognition.”

Mr Albanese said equal funding will be provided to the yes and no campaigns for the voice.

This will be interesting. Each of the States is moving to implement a treaty with the indigenous, now it seems Albo is moving that way.

Fascinating Article – MARCH OF FOLLY: FALL OF AMERICAN EMPIRE

“A phenomenon noticeable throughout history regardless of place or period is the pursuit by governments of policies contrary to their own interests. Mankind, it seems, makes a poorer performance of government than of almost any other human activity. In this sphere, wisdom, which may be defined as the exercise of judgment acting on experience, common sense, and available information, is less operative and more frustrated than it should be. Why do holders of high office so often act contrary to the way reason points and enlightened self-interest suggests? Why does intelligent mental process seem so often not to function?” ? Barbara W. Tuchman, The March of Folly: From Troy to Vietnam

The term “folly” is particularly apt at this stage in the decline of the great American empire.

Folly is defined as: criminally or tragically foolish actions or conduct; an excessively costly or unprofitable undertaking.

If ever a word captured the actions of American political leaders in the 21st Century and reflect the tragic downfall of an empire borne out of the ashes of the Second World War, it is the term “folly”.

For the last two decades I’ve been befuddled by the inane foolishness of our leaders, as they have driven the nation into a bottomless pit of debt at an astoundingly ridiculous pace, initiated military conflict across the globe, and in the last three years initiated anti-human policies guaranteed to destroy our economic system, depopulate the planet, increase human suffering, and turn the world into a techno-gulag where we will own nothing, eat bugs, and bow down to the commands of globalist overlords.

None of what is being jammed down our throats is based upon reason, facts, or common sense.

Why do governments initiate policies destined to destroy the nations they have been entrusted to administer? Is it purely incompetence and stupidity, or is it purposeful and evil?

But it was during Nobel Peace Prize winner Obama’s reign of error where acts of folly ratcheted up to a new level of deceitfulness and chaos creation. Both Syria and Libya were run by dictators who marched to their own drumbeat and did not bow to the imperial American empire. They had oil revenue, modern cities, and fairly secular societies, with little terrorism or radical Islamist influences. Obama, his neo-con advisors, and the military industrial complex needed chaos and war to keep their racket going

A flailing empire faced with intractable economic decline needs foreign enemies to distract the masses and fill the coffers of the Deep State, as the nation circles the drain. Obama and his despicably evil Secretary of State Clinton created ISIS from the ashes of the Iraq War as the means to deposing Assad. He also funded the forces whose job was to overthrow and kill Muammar Gaddafi, along with pretending the humanitarian crisis in Yemen didn’t exist. These foolish actions have resulted in the inevitable blowback, a diminishing trust of the U.S. among nations, the deaths of millions, and the destruction of once thriving countries, leaving nothing but destruction and suffering in the wake of its imperial misadventures.

The greatest act of folly during the Obama administration was the CIA and Victoria (“F@ck the EU”) Nuland initiated Maidan coup in the Ukraine in 2014, toppling the democratically elected president Viktor Yanukovych, and replacing him with a U.S. puppet Petro Poroshenko and his neo-Nazi allies.

This coup was purposely conducted to diminish Putin’s influence in Ukraine, but set the stage for the tragedy still unfolding today and possibly leading to World War 3.

Putin’s response to the coup was to annex Crimea, so the Russian navy retained its Black Sea port, and support the Russian speaking rebels in the Donbas. Obama revealed his yellow streak by avoiding direct confrontation with Putin, but used the old toothless sanctions card to pretend he was hurting Russia.

The propaganda war has never ceased, with the Ukraine nazis shooting down an airliner and attempting to pin the blame on the Russians. For eight years the nazis had bombed and slaughtered Russian speaking civilians in Eastern Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Biden crime family took advantage of the most corrupt country on earth by milking it like a dairy cow. Zelensky, a two-bit sitcom actor, was installed in 2019 by corrupt Ukrainian billionaire oligarchs and was given the task of provoking war with Russia by unleashing his nazi Azov legions in Donbas, slaughtering women, children, and other non-combatants. It worked. Putin’s invasion in February 2022 was meant to free the eastern provinces from the senseless slaughter and establish a new border between the Ukraine and Russia.

Both sides were at the negotiating table in March 2022 when in an act of supreme folly, the US instructed their UK lackey – Boris Johnson – to threaten/bribe Zelensky into turning hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians into cannon fodder in order to further enrich the imperial empire’s military industrial complex and try to provoke Putin into a broader war, with the goal of deposing him. Of course,

Putin is playing chess, while our pedo dementia patient in chief is playing checkers, but just wants some ice cream and his diaper changed.

A basement dwelling dementia patient with anger issues, who likes to touch children, collect his 10%, and eat ice cream was installed by the Deep State in a rigged election, as a means to destroy what remains of our society as part of a globalist Great Reset agenda. The same strategy was used to get a brain damaged galoot, whose IQ before the stroke was sub-100, elected as a senator from PA, despite his inability to speak a coherent sentence or comprehend a basic question.

These are little minds running a “great” empire. We deserve what we get and we’re gonna get it really hard.

The nearly insane actions, decisions, illegal mandates, and squandering of taxpayer funds to enrich pharmaceutical mega-corporations and arms dealers to fight the annual flu and an undeclared war against Russia are either the acts of a madman or someone who has been captured by malevolent mercenaries and is doing their bidding for fear of the consequences to himself and his family.

Biden has been an incompetent, lying, gaffe machine during his entire 40 years in politics, but his dementia has made him the perfect patsy for the Deep State and globalist banking interests

Going back to the definition of folly – criminally or tragically foolish actions or conduct – Biden’s actions and conduct most certainly meet the criteria. It seems no amount of failure and disastrous outcomes can shake Biden and his cronies from their senseless path of destroying the economy and cultural fabric of the nation, while provoking a global conflagration against two nuclear powers simultaneously.

But, as Plato noted over two thousand years ago, the masses will remain ignorant and distracted by their technological gadgets, unable to see beyond the shadows and lies of a culture manipulated to keep them from thinking or comprehending how badly they have been exploited and oppressed by their foolish government leaders.

The march of folly is perpetual.

When He’s Right, He’s Right: Putin Hits ‘Woke Ideologies’

BY ROBERT SPENCER

Vladimir Putin on Tuesday delivered a state-of-the-nation address to the Russian people, and the contrast couldn’t have been sharper with Old Joe Biden’s Feb. 7 barrage of Leftist propaganda in his State of the Union address.

Putin hit the West hard for its trendy gender madness and other manifestations of the dominant woke ideology. He even warned that if it kept up, Western nations were heading for “spiritual catastrophe.” One doesn’t have to think that the solution to all this is invading Ukraine in order to grant that the man has a point.

There are many in the West today who are ready to take the opposite of any position Putin takes just because Putin has taken it, and it certainly must be granted that the Russian strongman may only be saying such things in order to weaken support for Ukraine among American conservatives (many of whom are turned off already by the lingering suspicions that the whole thing is a money-laundering operation for Democrats). Still, if Putin’s disdain for “woke ideologies” is a put-on, he sure has mastered the lingo. Even if he doesn’t walk the walk, he certainly talks the talk.

“The Anglican Church,” Putin said, “is considering a gender-neutral God. May God forgive them for they know not what they do.”

They certainly don’t. The idea that the Church of England would consider itself empowered to change something so fundamental about Christianity’s teachings regarding the nature of God indicates that it doesn’t really believe in Christianity at all, and thinks that the faith is infinitely malleable, able to be adjusted in any way the believers deem necessary in order to suit their own perspectives and proclivities.

This is the opposite of what Christians have believed throughout the ages. Putin seems to understand that, while the learned Anglican divines do not.

“Millions of people in the West,” Putin added, “understand they are being led to a real spiritual catastrophe.” That is also true, and Putin knows why: according to a Tuesday report in the UK’s Daily Mail, he declared: “Look at what they do with their own peoples: the destruction of the family, cultural and national identity, perversion, and the abuse of children are declared the norm. And priests are forced to bless same-sex marriages.”

This coincides with the March 2022 statements of the Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill of Moscow: “We have entered into a struggle that has not a physical, but a metaphysical significance. …

Pride parades are designed to demonstrate that sin is one variation of human behaviour. That’s why in order to join the club of those countries, you have to have a gay pride parade.

If humanity accepts that sin is not a violation of God’s law, if humanity accepts that sin is a variation of human behavior, the human civilization will end there.”

At least some people on the other side appear to agree with this understanding of the conflict. On March 4, 2022, just after the conflict began, Vanity Fair published an article entitled “‘People Are Not Coming Back to the Closet’: The Fight for Ukraine Is Also a Fight for LGBTQ Rights.”

It began: “On the seventh day of the war, Olena Shevchenko posted a message of despair on Facebook. Shevchenko, who leads the LGBTQ organization Insight, was not just voicing the heartbreak of watching her city destroyed, feeling the bomb blasts in downtown Kyiv. Or fearing what the prospect of Russian occupation might mean for her and other queer activists. It sounded like she had lost faith, questioning whether all the tools she had used over years of fighting for LGBTQ rights, Ukrainian self-determination, and democracy had proved futile.”

In the West, it isn’t the LGBTQ forces that are embattled and on the defensive, but those who object to the prevailing gender madness, the drag queens in primary schools, and everything else that comes with conformity to the woke agenda.

What is harder to see is how an aggressive campaign against Ukraine is really a battle for traditional values and the Judeo-Christian tradition against this institutionalized insanity. Putin’s observations about the West may be correct without his war being justified.

In the final analysis, it is a shame that we don’t have, and likely never will have, an American president who will speak with this much courage and insight about the damage that wokeness leaves in its wake. Or at least we won’t until that damage is patently obvious to everyone.

Podcaster Says What Many of Us Think in Magnificent Rant Against Biden’s Ukraine Adventure</strong>

I know we’re not supposed to say this in polite company, but not all of us are on board with the blind, headlong race to empty U.S. coffers and armories into a Northern European country that is not particularly important to our interests abroad.

Many Americans are more than a little tired of borrowing billion of dollars from China to send to Big Global’s latest infatuation, Ukraine, with no oversight and no end in sight.

And while Leftists are swooning over Bumbling Biden’s appearance in Kyiv to casually announce he’s tossing in another half bil, plenty of people are actually more angry than impressed.

How much more are we supposed to pay for this, we wonder, and why isn’t Biden visiting the actual Americans in East Palestine, Ohio, who are in a crisis of their own?

Why, instead of doing everything in our power to broker peace, are we egging on this gristly meat grinder that has so far killed tens of thousands and maimed hundreds of thousands more? These are human beings we’re talking about. It’s not glorious or righteous: it’s stupid and tragic.

Steve Deace is the Conservative Christian host of an eponymous show on Blaze Media. He appeared on Tim Pool’s show Timcast IRL on Monday, and the topic turned to the war in Ukraine.

Pool noted that Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy warned that, if China allies with Russia, we would be on the brink of WWIII. “Because the U.S. will blindly and unapologetically give Ukraine all the support that it ever wants,” explained Pool.

“If China and Russia team up, yes, the U.S. will fall in line behind Zelenskyy and go into an international conflict between two superpowers, two world powers.”

It certainly does feel that way. Our mindless “president” is all too willing to ostentatiously protect the western elites’ investments in and plans for Ukraine.

After a bit of back-and-forth with the other guests, Deace delivered an epic rant that echoes the unspoken thoughts in so many Americans’ heads. “This issue with Ukraine is my last nerve,” he began.

Then he went off:

And this is hard for me to say, as a kid who’s a child of the ’80s, who grew up in the “We’re America, bitch” ’80s, who wore Alex P. Keaton monogrammed sweater vests, okay? And, and got up in the middle of the night to cheer Reagan bombing Qaddafi back to the Neolithic period. This is hard for me to say, okay?

You’re taking my high school-age son to fight and die in Ukraine? Literally over my dead body. I’m never allowing that. I’m never letting you take him to die for your Habsburg Dynasty, World War I, needless 20-million pile-of-deaths replay over your elites’ pissing contest. Not happening. I don’t care what the threat is. I don’t care what the penalty is.

And if you think you’re drafting my daughters, get the camps ready, because you’re gonna need them. Never happening.

Then Deace made a perceptive assessment of what’s really going on in Northern Europe:

And this is an example of [how] history doesn’t just repeat, it rhymes. This is … a bunch of elites, a little cabal that — throw Putin, all of them, all in together —

this is a Habsburg Dynasty pissing contest over a strip of land most people can’t find, don’t care about, has no strategic value to anybody within the sound of my voice unless they’re involved in investing money with Hunter Biden.

I wrote last month about how Zelenskyy has already signed Ukraine over to its new owners — I mean, benefactors — who will take possession of the nation when the fighting stops someday.

And this is very much why the Western elites will pull out all the stops to keep control of their pet project.

Senator Rennick has put up a clip on YouTube of him questioning AFP about a vaccine death.

Correctly AFP said all deaths would be investigated by state coroner.

However Rennicks point was about the lack of warning on label which resulted in death of 21 year old female with a particular condition that would react to an ingredient in the Vax. He was basically accusing Canberra civil servants of causing the death and wanted to know who would investigate. AFP not interested and suggested it would be Public Service Commission.

The chair of that Estimates was basically accusing Rennick of asking the questions in order to get clips for social media.

Senator Antic also has a clip questioning civil servants about who is Aboriginal relating to The Voice. Simply could not get a straight answer.

Heard an great story about the Durban sewerage works.
If you are unlucky to find yourself in Durban, best to give the beach a miss.

You mean like formerly like Bondi? –What lies beneath the surf off Bondi Beach

Deep underground, in the hidden industrial city that most Eastern Suburbs residents don’t even know exists, the 45 people who work at the Bondi Waste Water Treatment Plant are getting ready for an important anniversary.

It was 25 years ago, in November 1990, that the first of Sydney’s Deep Ocean Outfalls was opened. By the end of 1992, all three of the city’s outfalls – at North Head, Malabar and Bondi – were operational, pumping treated sewage up to three kilometres out to sea, dispersing it safely 60 metres beneath the waves where it attracts abundant marine life including giant rays, sharks and great shoals of fish.

It is impossible to overrate the impact the outfalls have had on Sydney life. Until the one here in Bondi was opened, for example, treated sewage just poured into the sea directly off Ben Buckler Point, just 500 metres from iconic Bondi Beach.

Keen surfer Andrew Heard, a Sydney Water hydrographer, remembers those days vividly.

“Whenever there was any wet weather, it would be terrible.

You’d find yourself swimming among condoms and panty liners. You could see the sewage, smell the filth. But we didn’t know any better because it had always been like that.

“Once the outfall opened, the difference was obvious within two days. It was that dramatic.”

The three outfalls cost a total of $310 million to build, and were an engineering marvel, according to Tony Williamson, plant manager at the Bondi facility, who agreed to give Fairfax Media a rare guided tour of his secret underground city to mark the 25th anniversary of the outfalls.

From the 1880s, Williamson explains, untreated sewage went straight into the ocean. But Australia’s beach culture, which grew steadily throughout the 20th century, made this increasingly unacceptable.

So the three primary treatment plants – at Bondi, North Head and Malabar – were created in the early 1960s. The Bondi plant was opened in 1962, the vast majority of it excavated from the sandstone, hidden away 45 metres below Bondi Golf Club.

But even though the sewage was primary treated after 1962, it still spewed out from the cliffs, a few metres below sea level, creating an infamous grey-brown plume off the headland. Prevailing winds would often blow it directly onto Bondi Beach.

Something had to be done, and the deep ocean outfalls were the radical solution.

“These were the first deep ocean outfalls in Australia and some of the deepest in the world,” says Captain Daniel Fitzhenry, who was the hydrographic surveyor for the project.

“Certainly they’ve proved to be the best in the world. They have been incredibly effective.”

Giant tunnelling machines bored each of the three outfalls 60 metres below the seabed between 2.6 kilometres and 3 kilometres out to sea.

At the end of each outfall, a number of risers (26 at Bondi, 28 at Malabar, and 36 at North Head) take the treated sewage to the seabed. There diffusers head it through a series of nozzles 60-80 metres below sea level.

Why the Ukraine Crisis Is the West’s Fault – 12 page PDF

The Liberal Delusions That Provoked Putin

John J. Mearsheimer

September/October 2014 – Published on August 18, 2014

According to the prevailing wisdom in the West, the Ukraine crisis can be blamed almost entirely on Russian aggression. Russian President Vladimir Putin, the argument goes, annexed Crimea out of a long-standing desire to resuscitate the Soviet empire, and he may eventually go after the rest of Ukraine, as well as other countries in eastern Europe. In this view, the ouster of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in February 2014 merely provided a pretext for Putin’s decision to order Russian forces to seize part of Ukraine.

But this account is wrong: the United States and its European allies share most of the responsibility for the crisis.

The taproot of the trouble is nato enlargement, the central element of a larger strategy to move Ukraine out of Russia’s orbit and integrate it into the West.

At the same time, the eu’s expansion eastward and the West’s backing of the pro-democracy movement in Ukraine-beginning with the Orange Revolution in 2004-were critical elements, too. Since the mid-1990s, Russian leaders have adamantly opposed nato enlargement, and in recent years, they have made it clear that they would not stand by while their strategically important neighbor turned into a Western bastion.

For Putin, the illegal overthrow of Ukraine’s democratically elected and pro-Russian president-which he rightly labeled a “coup”-was the final straw. He responded by taking Crimea, a peninsula he feared would host a nato naval base, and working to destabilize Ukraine until it abandoned its efforts to join the West.

Putin’s pushback should have come as no surprise. After all, the West had been moving into Russia’s backyard and threatening its core strategic interests, a point Putin made emphatically and repeatedly.

Elites in the United States and Europe have been blindsided by events only because they subscribe to a flawed view of international politics. They tend to believe that the logic of realism holds little relevance in the twenty-first century and that Europe can be kept whole and free on the basis of such liberal principles as the rule of law, economic interdependence, and democracy.

But this grand scheme went awry in Ukraine. The crisis there shows that realpolitik remains relevant—and states that ignore it do so at their own peril.

U.S. and European leaders blundered in attempting to turn Ukraine into a Western stronghold on Russia’s border. Now that the consequences have been laid bare, it would be an even greater mistake to continue this misbegotten policy

Biden Declares U.S. Will Sustain War In Eastern Europe Indefinitely, Against Americans’ Wishes

Less than 24 hours after his staged trip to Kyiv, Ukraine, President Joe Biden told thousands of spectators in Warsaw, Poland, that he plans to indefinitely squander U.S. taxpayer dollars on a proxy war, despite Americans indicating they oppose this involvement.

“Our support for Ukraine will not waver, NATO will not be divided, and we will not tire,” Biden yelled on Tuesday during his occasionally incoherent remarks.

The event was promoted as a somber affair to mark one year since Russia invaded Ukraine. Biden’s speech, however, kicked off with the light-hearted air of a campaign stop, featuring background music by the Foo Fighters and Coldplay and photo opportunities with children waving American, Polish, and Ukrainian flags.

Back home, Americans plagued with sky-high inflation, a growing border crisis, and hazardous chemical spills are not as enthused by Biden’s words. Less than half of Americans support shipping weapons and cash to the Eastern European country, especially because, with no oversight, those funds are lining the pockets of Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose regime is plagued with allegations of corruption.

Despite Americans’ opposition to prolonging an overseas war, Biden falsely claimed to his audience in Poland that Americans “are united in our resolve” to sponsor the Zelensky regime “for as long as it takes.”

Biden cited showy Ukraine flag virtue-signaling campaigns and Congress’s assistance in sending $113 billion taxpayer dollars and counting to Zelenksy as proof that Americans want to keep handing over blank checks to a foreign government.

“All across my country, in big cities and small towns, Ukrainian flags fly from American homes. Over the past year, Democrats and Republicans in the United States Congress have come together to stand for freedom. That’s who Americans are, that’s what Americans do,” Biden said.

In a full embrace of the uniparty’s interventionist agenda, Biden claimed this commitment to “the people of Ukraine and the future of Ukraine” is rooted in the belief that Ukraine should be a “free, sovereign, and democratic” nation. “There’s no sweeter word than freedom. There is no nobler goal than freedom. There’s no higher aspiration than freedom. Americans know that, and you know it,” Biden said.

While his homeland crumbles, Biden touts dragging the U.S. into a global war in the name of advancing “democracy” and “sovereignty” overseas with no word about the negotiations required for de-escalation. On the contrary, Biden said the only end to this war he will accept is Russia ceasing its invasion, something President Vladimir Putin said he doesn’t plan to do.

“If Russia stopped invading Ukraine, it would end the war. If Ukraine stopped defending itself against Russia, [it] would be the end of Ukraine,” Biden said.

“The new laws are a first in Australia — they help keep Aboriginal children with their families by enshrining Aboriginal self-determination in child and family services,” she said.

Further to my post above, can you imagine what the bureaucratic process will be to remove a child from a dangerous Aboriginal family situation. It is already a difficult road to navigate if you are the workers in this field, with several layers of approval required. Imagine now we introduce another layer to consult or negotiate with, i.e. the Aboriginal community, and one that the child is identified with (? further delays) and in the meantime the child or children remain at risk. Do any of the people making the legislation understand how difficult it is already for welfare staff to deal with drug and alcohol addled families; kids left with nappies on for days on end, malnutrition, broken bones and more. And this isn’t just Aboriginal families there is a fair share across other groups as well. So the time taken dealing with the new Black Tape will impact across the whole welfare system.
I hope Daniel Andrews gets known as the man who introduced “Black Tape” to child welfare, potentially the most discriminatory and damaging legislation ever affecting Aboriginal children and families and the child welfare sector in Australia.

If you have companion animals, animals given preference in your home and life, then it’s rather as it is with children. You take what you get and you shape what you can and do your very best to offer them care according to their needs and your capabilities. You love them regardless of their being mere animals, because they are living and emotional entities, who have a strong attachment to you and a dependence upon you which you have encouraged, for it is part of the deal. If they are in your circle why should they not be loved? Cats and dogs particularly crave affection and approval, though even birds and a fish in a bowl can demand your attention.

Cat, dog, fish or fowl, they are part of creation deserve respectful treatment.

If you can’t be bothered with a pet, then give the animal to someone who can.

Everyone at the bail hearing wants him out, police, ALS reps (x2) and all 3 of us sitting as JPs.
With an hour of back and forth we could not find ONE SINGLE RELATIVE able to take the kid. We ruled out only one who was a cousin being released from prison that day as too much of a burden for him.
Other than that the entire extended clan was too much of a piss/drug wrecked mob of degenerates to sign on to look after the kid.
All the halfway/boarding places were full of other abandoned kids.

And Black and Dan wants to add more restrictions on getting kids looked after?

Dont get me wrong, there was another client of mine who was a serial carer for kids, usually 3 at a time, and it took her about 2 weeks to pull the kids into line. Of course the dog considered to be dangerous in our youth were German Shepherds (Alsatians).
In many cases, they were dangerous due to over forty years on inbreeding.
It was yet another example of one fanatic causing Government to institute apalling policy, a very influential K9 journalist who hated Germans conducted a completely false campaign against the breed resulting in the Government banning imports from 1928 to 1972, by which time they were of course all as inbred as a certain royal family. He had ready support from the Graziers’Association who he conned into believing that Shepherds attack sheep herds.
The reason for his passionate hatred of all things German was apparently that internees at the Holsworthy internment camp used to nip over the fence and pinch his carrots and the camp guards didn’t care.
It is possible that the relevant Ministers were named Bourke and Chalmers, but I haven’t checked.

Ed, don’t be obtuse.

The three rules are basic common sense. Even if you believe you have done the right thing, never take it for granted and check, check, then check again. The same as “measure twice, cut once”.

If a dog attacks a person, child, livestock, other dogs and cats then yes, they should be put down. A bite delivered through fear or pain because of being stepped on or being beaten does not constitute an attack.

Bad dog owners are like bad parents, “oh my little Jimmy, Johnny would NEVER do that!!!” Not seeing what your dog is capable of is not the dogs fault.

Dogs, Cats and Horses are God’s gift to Mankind. The same with children. They make 90% of us better people.

Ed, the voting bloc will have the power, and that will be Aboriginal, i.e. restricted by some form of hereditary (racial) fiction. All monarchs exist due to heritable fictions.

Of course this system will be subject to political control within Parliament.
Worst case, it could actually run amok and suspend Parliament (with High Court backing).

The main issue is that what is meant to assist one group’s historical disadvantage is unlikely to do that, as it is a wedge to other things. It will introduce antagonisms with other identity groups in society, who may feel that they have significant claims to disadvantage also. Racial divisions do that. Every ethnic or racial group has its own history and issues. Including Europeans (whites – even to try to put this into words starts to create provisos as who is in or who is not). Identity politics is a poison.

You’re equating pets with children.
There’s no comparison.
Children are the future.
Dogs are inherently dangerous, cats are full of diseases as are horses.

Goodness, I forgot to include horses and much loved cows.

Mea culpa to all equine and bovine fans.

And then there are pigs, which are remarkable animals, and very knowing.
I have raised and loved little pigs, and learned to like but be cautious around big ones.
And lambs. And sheep and goats. And the whole damn barnyard.
But once admitted to the house, the equation changes. It becomes more personal.
Whatever the type of animal. It’s hard to eat a named and home-raised animal.
Exception is horses. Tom Mix and all movie cowboys truly loved their horses, home on the range.
As do horse owners in general, in field or in stable.

Come to think of it, I cried my eyes out over Black Beauty as a child.

Once a week in Australia a child is killed by an adult in brutal circumstances, usually by a biological mother or father (usually the mother). Humans kill far more children than dogs do. Let me repeat what I said this morning about dog attacks. The death of a child by a dog is a tragedy but one that is completely avoidable. It isn’t the dog that’s the problem, it’s almost always the dickhead dog owner. Secondly, there’s almost always a demographic aspect to dog attacks, as in put bulls and certain other breeds attract certain types of owners. I know many don’t want to acknowledge that fact but it’s the truth. I do think pit bulls are a problematic breed and that ownership of such dogs should be illegal, but again, I repeat, it isn’t the dog’s fault, it’s the owner’s fault, and pit bulls attract a specific type of owner!

You’re equating pets with children.

Good Lord, Ed, how you do go on, making enormous leaps of inference that smell like farts and dissolve as readily.

Children are human beings. Pets are not human, no matter how much we anthropomorphise them.
There is never any ‘equating’ of the two in the discussions above.

You want to eliminate disadvantage- really and truly?

You will require people who are hopeless pisswrecks to be confined, sobered up and broken down and rebuilt in a year or more long process.

You will need drs/psychiatrists and a large support team to cajole them 24 hrs a day, to find out their addictions and vices and teach them how to avoid or neutralize them.

There is a template, it does work, but it would have to be on a near industrial scale housing entire families at a time.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-07-13/pilbara-drug-and-alcohol-rehabilitation-facilty-to-open/5590934

And at the end you would have people capable of functioning in society again. The fetal alcohol ones would need long term assistance (lifelong).

You would also have to wear the “stolen generators” odium from the peanut gallery who would reflexively brand it as genocide etc.

It is also anti-liberty, anti freedom and is effectively reprogramming people to function as “normal”, all things not to be done lightly.

If you’re saying that the Population of Australians with Aboriginal descent is much larger than the Census figures, I agree with you.

The issue, though, is that the passing of the proposed Constitutional Amendment will allow the Australian Labor Party to create a 3rd House of Parliament with the Powers of a King over the other 2.

Chuckle…well done, Peter Smith.

Too much integration has passed under the bridge. You can’t retro fit treaties between people who are 100 percent white and those who, say, are 75 percent white and 25 percent indigenous; and whose white antecedents came from Yorkshire; and who occupy jobs in the city and in the suburbs. It’s self-evidently nonsensical.
