We will never mass adopt electric until the range, performance, sticker price, maintenance costs and refuelling costs are similar are better than ICE cars and similarly for recharge time to refuelling time and availability of repairers and recharge points to fuel bowsers.
I believe we have already been through this process early in the 20th century when batteries were considered to run cars. You could even say we had then an Oppenheimer moment* with regard to petrol operated cars that set the future for us.
For people who are so into Darwinism and evolution they sure hate the natural progression when it contradicts their renewable religion.
*Since the Oppenheimer movie opened I have heard this reference applied to AI as the new inflection point in our history. It certainly doesn’t apply to renewables.
Mark Steyne here cites a new Japanese virology paper suggesting that a normal process of variant evolution has not been at work with the Covid variants, that the variance itself seems to be engineered Not being a virologist I can’t really comment on the reasons that may lie behind this apparent feature, and unlike Steyne, I’m not going down conspiracy paths on it yet; nor are the researchers. At this stage, I’d reserve judgement. It seems reasonable to me to think that an engineered virus (which we know Sars-Cov-2 to be) might not do much that is ‘normal’ in its evolutionary development, especially given the peculiarities of the spike protein, and that a look at the way in which a series of ‘vaccines’ may have pushed the evolutionary lines in less regular directions might explain a few things. Should we be worried? Probably not. The Covid brew is weakening, in politics and in the test tube. But I’d still like to hear from greater virological expertise rather than stake a claim on my off the cuff views. Be interested in your views too, John H. Mark Steyn is great, but he is not uninvolved or dispassionate, given his treatment by a hyped scientific orthodoxy.
It does raise the issue of what these research labs are up to: should we move to end all gain-of-function research in case we get something worse from it in the future? Yes. Concentrate more on understanding the viruses we already have and what they and other viruses do in nature rather than fiddle with making them different.
We will never mass adopt electric until the range, performance, sticker price, maintenance costs and refuelling costs are similar are better than ICE cars and similarly for recharge time to refuelling time and availability of repairers and recharge points to fuel bowsers.

I can see a government spitefully taxing ICE PMV out of existence but if they did so rather clumsily they would destroy the logistics industry. As long as the economy can breathe through the logistics industry there is a second best solution to get around it.

Kaiser also boasts on their site that they provide pediatric gender care, offering surgical procedures and irreversible hormone therapy which they offer to children.
Chloe Cole, who came to her senses in young adulthood and who is detransitioning, is currently taking legal action against Kaiser for what they did to her as a child.
So far, this hasn’t stopped them. They are still raking in the money while they can.
Only government action preventing them from such child abuse will stop it.
I hope Chloe’s experience assists many other damaged children to go for lawfare when the grow up. These ‘clinics’ will at least be forced into receivership by major payouts. But they will spring up elsewhere unless legally proscribed.
The problem also has to be tackled at the demand end with a fight against the intrusion of transgenderism and its cultural approval into schools and medical practices. It’s funny how we had plentiful and cheap electricity before we had all the planners,
I love how we had cheap, plentiful, and reliable electricity when it was the traditional coal and gas.
Then they add in these novelty shop forms – wind, solar, tidal etc.
And when the price of electricity skyrockets we are expected to believe this is because of the coal and gas sources.
The difference between a politician and a bureaucratic mandarin lies, I think, only in degree of patience. Just got a scam call purporting to be from “Services Australia”. All sounded legit, even the “recorded for training purposes”.
And then the spiel started on “first we need some personal details”. On being asked what the nature of the phone call was, the request was repeated. At which point I saw red.
You are phoning me to find out if I am me? How the hell do I know that you are you? I then requested an appointment face to face at the local Centrelink to discuss whatever critical piece of information was missing from their expansive dossier on yours truly.
Oh, I’m unable to do that. Suuuure, thought so. At which point she said she had to terminate the phone call.
The military takeover in Gabon is the eighth in West and Central Africa since 2020, and the second – after Niger – in as many months. Military officers have also seized power in Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso and Chad, erasing democratic gains since the 1990s and raising fear among foreign powers that have strategic interests in the region.

Govt Bonds now carry a disclosure that the bond yields can be effected by ‘climate change policy’ .In 2020, Melbourne woman Katta O’Donnell, then a 23-year-old law student, sued the federal government for allegedly deceiving investors, as part of a class action representing current and potential investors in government bonds.
The class action called for a public declaration that the Commonwealth had breached its duty to investors, by not disclosing information about how climate change could hurt the value of government bonds.

‘Maintain the love’: Pearson call to Yes campaigners
Rosie Lewis
Rosie Lewis
Noel Pearson says racism and prejudice in Australia will “diminish” if the country votes for constitutional recognition through a voice to parliament and executive government, as he urges Yes campaigners to “maintain the love”.
Buoyed by Anthony Albanese’s announcement of the October 14 referendum date, Mr Pearson said he had been anxious about the Yes campaign a while back but was so confident in it now.
Asked on ABC radio if he still believed racism would diminish in Australia when it succeeded with recognition, Mr Pearson said: “Oh, absolutely. We’ve got to do this in order for racism, prejudice to diminish.
“A lot of the prejudice is not … complete antipathy. It’s uncertainty and fear. And the No campaign has obviously been, obviously their intention is to exploit that, to exploit fear about Indigenous people and fear about reconciliation. I think our message is one of optimism and faith and belief. We’ve got to believe in our fellow Australians.”
In a direct rebuke to former prime minister John Howard, who earlier this week invoked Gough Whitlam by calling on No campaigners to “maintain the rage”, Mr Pearson said there was no rage path for voice supporters.
“The Yes campaign must maintain the love. There’s no rage path for us. There can only be a love path for us because we need Australians to come together here. This is what recognition is all about,” he said.
“It’s about completing the commonwealth, fixing up the one missing piece of Indigenous recognition and when we do that, we will heal the country. We will bring the country together.
“So rather than the rage of fear and anger, I urge Australians and our mob in the Yes campaign to always keep our eyes on the prize and the prize is that we are building a better Australia. We’re moving forward to make a great country even greater and we do that by fixing up the original division which was concerning its First Peoples.”
Noting Indigenous people made up just three per cent of the population, Mr Pearson they hadn’t been in the homes of most Australians.
“Most Australians have never had us over for a meal. They don’t know who we are,” he said.
“The only thing they see of us is largely in the media and a quite a bit of quite a large proportion of that is quite negative. It’s understandable, but we will bridge that. I think the bridge of understanding and empathy, there’s a lot of empathy in the Australian people about our condition. And then just because you don’t know us doesn’t mean that you don’t know … what the right thing to do is and what we need in order to close the gap.”
“They do, but it’s also clear that Trump derangement syndrome had a ceiling, that we are very probably past it, and that is what these polls are indicating.”
I wish I shared your optimism Dover. I suspect if Trump wins the nomination, many people, particularly independents, will choose to stay at home on election day.

If that’s true why isn’t he further ahead for President?
The vivmeister really good. He just whacked Andrea Mitchell at MSNBC.
“I can offer clear evidence that the number of climate-related deaths is down by 98% over the last century. The number of people who died of hurricanes, tornadoes, heat waves and other weather-related events in 1920, for every 100 died then, two died today and the reason why is more plentiful abundant access to fossil fuels and technology powered by fossil fuels,” Ramaswamy said. “I can also tell today, this is a hard fact, none of this is disputed, eight times as many people die of cold temperatures than die of warm ones.”
A 2011 study from the Reason Foundation found that “aggregate mortality attributed to all extreme weather events globally has declined by more than 90%” since the 1920s.
“The right answer to all temperature-related deaths is more plentiful, abundant access to fossil fuels,” Ramaswamy continued. “The earth is covered by more green surface area today than it was a half a century or a century ago because carbon dioxide is plant food and carbon dioxide as a percentage of the atmosphere, is still at relative a low.”
Mitchell pressed Ramaswamy, citing comments from the mayor of St. Petersburg about the storm’s intensity.
“I mean this with due respect, if someone on the other side were an uneducated person from Arkansas who didn’t go to college and offered one weather event as an anecdote to support global climate change, you would laugh them off the stage as a rube for saying they don’t follow data,” Ramaswamy said. “The same shoe has to fit the other foot. Follow the actual data.”

In 2016, Trump won by about 70k votes in a handful of swing states.
In 2020, Biden won by about 40k votes in a handful of swing states.
So a change of just 50k votes in key swing states will see Trump back in again.
In 2020, there was COVID lockdowns with no sport, no social life, and so on, resulting in people being mad at the incumbent.
This time, the economy is crap, making people mad at the incumbent – and many of those “swing” states are seeing significant impacts from all the climate change bullcrap, from inflation, from race based unrest, from LGBQWERTY+ junk in schools and so on. Stuff that reflects badly on Biden and was NOT present when Trump was POTUS.
Biden took over a week to get to Maui.
Trump went to East Palestine (toxic train wreck site) and shouted a whole lotta people McDonalds (while NOT being Prez!)
“Rich Men North of Richmond” went to #1 in the billboard top 100.
“Try that in a small town” was high on the charts as well.
People who might have held their nose and voted for Biden just to stop the “mean tweets” and other “not presidential” behaviour, will now gladly hold their nose and vote for Trump after 3+ years of “Bidenomics”, especially given the Dems are saying what a “good” economy the US has, while those “at the coal face” of the economy are struggling.
It’s a hard call, but to say Trump can’t win is ridiculous IMO, given the above stated numbers and conditions. He can. He should. Unless there is some serious cheating going on, I think he will – maybe not by much, but by enough. And that’s all you need.
And here’s the thing, whilst Trump might have the majority of the GOP base on his side, he doesn’t have independents favouring him, and here’s my prediction, he won’t have them next year.
Hence my observations that Trump could win the nomination and lose the race for presidency. I understand some people here view Trump as a fab candidate who will right all the wrongs but many of middle America view him as a liability focused on his own problems rather than those of the USA. It appears BDS and TDS obscure the other candidates who are better than two old guys who should be playing golf.

In this context, the Australian State Government (NSW) health data from November and December 2022 [21] (Figure 1 and Figure 2) demonstrate that the unvaccinated are almost not represented in the hospitalisation data while the most vaccinated are over-represented. The proportion of unvaccinated in NSW was low at 3.2%; however, the proportion of unvaccinated with severe COVID-19 is lower than this in late 2022 at 2.9%. Even accounting for more COVID-19 vaccine boosters in the elderly and vulnerable, the data do not suggest significant efficacy against hospitalisation, ICU admission and death, at least after the emergence of the Omicron strain.

Noting Indigenous people made up just three per cent of the population, Mr Pearson they hadn’t been in the homes of most Australians.
“Most Australians have never had us over for a meal. They don’t know who we are,” he said.
While racism is alive in some crevices of the country, Pearson fails to acknowledge the “fair go” tradition of most Australians. Multiculturalism has flourished in this country precisely because we will support those who work hard, don’t “bludge”, don’t complain, and get on with it. It is disingenuous to claim otherwise. As someone who has, indeed, “had an Aborigine at our home for a meal”, it makes absolutely no difference to my decision on changing the Constitution. Nor should it.
Incidentally, I detect a movement to insert “recognition” into the Constitution should the “Yes” movement fail. I would similarly oppose such a decision. Recognition of prior claimants to sovereignty (no matter how marginal) could embolden luvvies on the High Court to make unexpected embrazoned decisions regarding claims for reparations etc etc.

Cassie – The Republican elites are doing nothing about the cheating because if they did they’d be acknowledging that Trump was right about 2020. Which is why they ran dead on the Fox/Dominion lawsuit and are doing likewise on the Georgia indictments. Also they want him gorne a lot more than they want to win elections.
The problem for the Republican elites is that Trump overwhelmingly represents Republican voters. They hate that idea worse than anything.
And the Democrats detest Trump and his voters because they deny Thermageddon. Which isn’t happening, but they believe it is with a good ole time religion level of belief.
This is a war of the people vs the elites. We have the same problem here, but America at least has the primary system to through it into the open, whereas we suffer from smoke-filled backroom Captain’s picks.
Cronkite , what do you estimate cheating as a percentage of the vote. There is a ceiling.
There’s 2 types of cheating: increasing demorat ballots and losing or otherwise not counting GOP/Trump ballots. There hasn’t been much attention to the fact that completed ballots in favour of Trump were not counted, especially military base ones.
The cheating at the last election was simple. The demorats ceased counting at night in the 5 swing states with Trump ahead, knowing what they had to do; in each of those states, the next morning Trump’s lead had gone.
The GOP won’t cheat because they’re gentlemen and faggots. Marjorie Green and Lauren Boebert might but even with those firebrands I think they’ll stand on principle.

Ordinary American citizens have stepped up to demand election integrity in the wake of the 2020 stolen election.
Co-founder of VoterGA Garland Favorito is here to talk about a press conference that once again revealed voter fraud in Georgia.
The press conference exposed the lies behind the latest Trump indictment out of Fulton County at the hands of leftist DA Fani Willis.
The Republican controlled Georgia state legislature has the power to shut down Fani Willis and her political anti-Trump witch hunt.
Georgia Governor and RINO Brian Kemp is not going to use any of his authority to expose election fraud because he benefits from the corruption.
However, the House of Representatives in Georgia has the power to impeach any judicial officer in the state.
They can and should impeach Fani Willis but for the most part the legislature has been very quiet.
Their silence may soon be over as some legislators are planning to announce impeachment proceedings against Fani Willis.
It’s time for the people to go on offense, protest, and demand the Georgia legislature act like true Republicans.

the reality is that the Sniffer’s poll numbers should be a lot lower than what they are. They aren’t.
Polling in the US is tribal, many of the companies that conduct it are just looking to create a narrative. The Dems were caught in the lead up to 2016 ording oversampling of Dem leaning demographics. You can pretend that still doesn’t go on but you’d be naive.
There was a poll that had Biden up by 21 points in Pennsylvania 2 days before the 2020 election. Must have been a shock to the dems in Pennsylvania that they needed to stop the count and hurriedly round up votes at 3am.
Nah. Just that the democratic system gives the voters what they want, generally. And in advanced economies thats a functioning public health system.
You can try the alternative but most people aren’t that doctrinaire or rich enough to risk their lives over a concept.

There is a horrible progression in this conflict. Trump is a classic narcissist and the more they defame & attack him, the more he will resist. Anyone else with a sense of survival would surely withdraw from the race – especially since he has already been Pres. of the USA.
And surely the Dems understand this. But, in what increasingly looks like an imminent tragedy, they will not desist in their campaign to not only discredit him, but to actually (I believe) imprison him.

The answer in the US is the same as it ever was: play to the rules as written, not to the rules as you think they are meant to be.
If a state allows ballot harvesting, early voting etc etc, then USE it!
Use the system as it is to gain power, THEN change the system to how you want it to be.
Play from the “bottom up” and start paying attention to local stuff like DA’s, S’oS and so on – all politics is local!
Up your “ground game”.
When you get power, start undoing some of the lefts crap – don’t just play with it at the margins, repeal and rescind it, or they will just use “creep” at each stage to push you further away from where you want to be. This is how they work, so make them start from scratch – every time.
Or as Steyn notes, “Murdered by the government”. He’s still in fine form despite being (allegedly) at death’s door. His last column on his case against Ofcom contains some very funny monikers for various clowns involved in the ongoing GB News debacle, such as Angelos Floppadopoulos and The Rt Hon Sir Jacob Rees-Moggadon.
When you sit down and work out the nominal amount paid into private (say $100 p.m.) and public healthcare by an average wukka (say, 80k p.a.) on cheap PHI and 2% gross PHI, it is $134,400 over a 48 year working life.
That is BEFORE anything is paid out of pocket, or you realise that Medicare only funds about 1/4 of public health, funded largely by income tax and GST.
In that case, they’re not coughing up the full amount but it is $326,400 over their working life BEFORE out of pocket expenses.
We are not getting a good deal out of this.
It is very unlikely the average person who even has a couple of major medical interventions and dies of a terminal illness actually costs this much money to treat, which also excludes out of pocket expenses!
Very roughly it would mean everyone costs $75 to $80 a week to keep from dying from preventable illnesses every week of their life over an 80 year lifespan.

Most pundit have said destabilising Putin would be silly given nuclear arsenals and mafia boss/corruptokrapts in Russia would make this a volatile situation for not just Russia, but the world…
I thought this too but then, if this happen (or looked likely to happen) you could send in UN troops and other NATO and non-NATO support forces into Russia if we were told it was breaking down into civil war, rebellion, factions etc…?
I don’t disagree … health system in Oz is a rort in many ways.
But private health is even worse with naked self-interest by insurers, medical companies, drug merchants and doctors leading to a system in USA that provides worse care for worse outcomes at 2-3 times the cost. And try using a private health system in developing countries – you end up fighting the system to stop over-billing for trivial issues.

Yes. I recall an article on the presidential campaign of Obama – he had recruited armies of supporters who helped disadvantaged or disabled voters to fill out postal votes. He also had his teams constantly on the telephones speaking to voters prior to the election. Very well organised and very ground roots.
Of course, it’s Christian to cheat when the other side is cheating. It’s ridiculous nonsense to suggest Christians should turn the other cheek and cop it if the other side wants to take control by cheating their way to political control. Suggesting otherwise is simply a form of virtue signaling, which God would view as abhorrent. Virtue signaling is another way to describe hypocrisy and the Lord loathes hypocrites.
Over 100 Former Clerks Come to Defense of Justice Clarence Thomas Following Relentless Attacks by Democrats
For months, Democrats have been engaged in an effort to delegitimize the U.S. Supreme Court.
They have taken special aim at conservative Justice Clarence Thomas, using a smear campaign intended to attack his integrity.
Now over 100 former clerks have come to Thomas’ defense, co-signing a letter in response to the claims.
From The Gateway Pundit – These 100 people are especially brave as they would be aware they will be targeted by the Left.
It may be that the relentless attacks will have a very large proportion of the US voteherd realising they have to destroy the Democrats before they are destroyed themselves.
And if we wuz all sharing in the $39 billion tax free hand out I’m sure we would all be happy to “maintain the luv” .. LOL!
Consider what that would be of the total PAYE tax grab.
Now consider cancelling all the Aboriginal grift money and removing it from your tax paid each week.
It would be an enormous pay rise.
The interesting thing is that electricity demand has been decreasing for some years in Australia for several reasons. That has masked the looming supply issue.
The Australian Labor Party today operates on a similar basis -“We live in waterfront mansions, and have sizeable investment portfolios, for the good of the working class.”
In light of recent events in the US, a greater scrutiny of the AEC and its travellers would be a good thing. Any time a public servant fulfilling a purely administrative role has their name in the papers you know they have f**ked up.

“Who is making the variants?”

All of this is because we needed to be propagandised for the voice and they needed someone hitherto respected to provide a soothing message.

The difference between a politician and a bureaucratic mandarin lies, I think, only in degree of patience. A politician is focussed on immediate satisfaction and to that end spouts out the most obscene nonsense, stabbing allies in the back, sidling up to journos and sticking their tongues in their ears and so on.
Their careers are usually bright and brief. Only a few have the longevity to be a blight on the nation for their whole professional life. Even Trumble’s career was only a part of his professional life.
The bureaucrats play longer games. Politicians come and go and each one can be played in their own way. No one much really knows the bureaucrats, they prefer not to draw attention to themselves, all the better to feast long and steadily upon the host’s blood.

This effect was noted in the eastern bloc countries when communism fell in yearly 90s. “It would be good if Trump fanboyz would acknowledge and take into account that not everyone thinks the same about him as we do.”
Indeed. It appears some prefer myopia with Trump. Whilst the Sniffer has the MSM on his side, a media that every day covers up for him, even taking that into account the reality is that the Sniffer’s poll numbers should be a lot lower than what they are. They aren’t. And here’s the thing, whilst Trump might have the majority of the GOP base on his side, he doesn’t have independents favouring him, and here’s my prediction, he won’t have them next year.
Our NEW RBA gov. had to make that statement at the ANU. Aust.
Katta O’Donnell,….won the case.
We’re rapidly turning into a low trust society. I’ve never been the trusting sort. So you’re all becoming more like me.
Don’t worry, it’s not so bad. 😉

They do, but it’s also clear that Trump derangement syndrome had a ceiling, that we are very probably past it, and that is what these polls are indicating.

Why should I believe you? 🙂

I wish I shared your optimism Dover. I suspect if Trump wins the nomination, many people, particularly independents, will choose to stay at home on election day.
Besides, the Sniffer won’t be on the ticket, it’ll be Gavin Newsom.
Reminds me of that scene in Deliverance.
Are you coming into me?
OH GOD
It was ONTO but autocorrect made my Norm Macdonald tribute a lot funnier at my expense.
Where do you think Biden’s number should be?
Trump is winning Independents by 11, 43-32, according to YouGov. People need to start paying attention to the crosstabs in these polls.
Same here.
Definitely won’t be Biden, it’s impossible for the MSM to cover for him completely now let alone in another six months.
Newsom or Mr Obama MkII.
“…the Sniffer’s poll numbers should be a lot lower than what they are. They aren’t. And here’s the thing, whilst Trump might have the majority of the GOP base on his side, he doesn’t have independents favouring him, and here’s my prediction, he won’t have them next year.”

Also, there’s more to come out about the crime family, and he will be impeached.

The cheating will be enormous: flagrant and sustained. False narrative will invent new Trump crimes and crisis. Trump would have to blanket the US in red to have any success after being elected in dealing with the swamp which has become more powerful since it has been exposed. Then there is this:
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson said the escalating partisan attacks on former President Trump have left him believing that Democrats are “speeding towards assassination” as a final resort to stop the Republican presidential frontrunner from retaking the White House.
No Republican can win the Presidency. The Dems dare not let it happen.
2024 will be stolen like 2020. Nothing has been done about the rigging.
So they will do it again. They think they have to in order to save the planet.
“No Republican can win the Presidency. “
Not true.
And I forgot this:
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell had another episode of freezing up while answering questions from reporters in Kentucky on Wednesday.
Trump will get no support from the swamp side of the GOP which is already senile and self absorbed.
Cronkite , what do you estimate cheating as a percentage of the vote. There is a ceiling.
What’s to stop the GOP from cheating also?
Vicki
Thanks for that paper, Vicki.
Except for the last few elections they won with Bush candidates, including the “hanging chads” debacle in Florida.
Given the history of gerrymandering and state-level electoral funny stuff in USA(mostly against minorities) its a little bemusing to hear people claiming Republicans can’t win becos cheating.
No Republican can win the Presidency. The Dems dare not let it happen.

BoN – I fear you may be right. Cassie – I think they will at least put in a mighty effort & that just could start a civil insurrection that would make the so-called assault on the Capitol child’s play.
“Except for the last few elections they won with Bush candidates, including the “hanging chads” debacle in Florida.

Rubbish, whilst there were problems with the 2000 election, Bush Jnr most certainly did not cheat in 2004, he won in a landslide. And Bush Snr most certainly did not cheat in 1988, when he also won convincingly.
Carry on Kamala, I always like it when you reveal your true colours.
I’ve employed a couple who were rather vague about where they had been for the past couple of months – we both knew they had just been released from gaol – and provided an employers reference that kept one out of gaol, and I’m voting “NO.”
We can’t all invite an aborigine to dinner. There aren’t enough of them to go around.
“What’s to stop the GOP from cheating also?”
Good question.
Whoosh. Nobody claimed the Repubs outright cheated – just ironic to hear they can’t win becos cheating when electoral systems and court rulings have favoured them in the past.
HarrisX Poll: 87 Percent of GOP Would Back Trump (29 Aug)
And the Democrats detest Trump and his voters because they deny Thermageddon. Which isn’t happening, but they believe it is with a good ole time religion level of belief.
This is a war of the people vs the elites. We have the same problem here, but America at least has the primary system to through it into the open, whereas we suffer from smoke-filled backroom Captain’s picks.
Sure Alamak, like in the other thread when you claimed “Health” was a legitimate public good like national defence.
I believe you buddy, I really do.
The Voice, in action:
‘Hey! Give us a free feed!’
Stew Peters Network:
Trump Indictment LIES EXPOSED In Georgia: Non-Profit VoterGA Calls For Special Legislative Session
Gerrymandering has no impact on senate nor presidential elections. Both are statewide It’s only the house that is affected.
I do a similar thing as you calli. Someone rings me, I ask them what extension they’re on and I will call them through the switchboard. I don’t give details over the phone unless I call them.
I only answer saved “name” calls (kids, grandees ect) .. if it’s a number & important (to them!) they can msg .. no one ever does .. LOL!
Cronkite, what’s the percentage estimate?
The Republicans can’t cheat because a vast number of Republican voters are Christian. They just will not play that game, even if it loses elections. The final judge in such matters is God, and the justice is His. Christians are very patient people, they are happy to wait for His judgement upon the election stealers. But you can’t get them to do the same things the Democrats do.
We can’t all invite an aborigine to dinner. There aren’t enough of them to go around.
Many upticks Dr. I did chortle muchly.
The GOP won’t cheat because they’re gentlemen and faggots.

“The Yes campaign must maintain the love.”
And if we wuz all sharing in the $39 billion tax free hand out I’m sure we would all be happy to “maintain the luv” .. LOL!
And public health is a legitimate public good according to majority of people in advanced economies. Ironic that free-enterprise zealots spruik the benefits of a minimal state but always prefer to live somewhere with public goods they can access.
Mark Steyn has a couple of old interviews up with that Canadian lady refused a transplant because she wouldn’t/ couldn’t take the jab. She died unnecessarily last week. How western nations have not revolted is astonishing. This woman died by court order. Just outrageous.
Not everyone wants democracy. Maybe it’s why not everyone cares about cheating.
I do care but I don’t want democracy per se.
If the Democrat base cared about democracy, they would have largely boycotted Hillary in 2016.
Bernie got shafted because of patrician privilege enabled by “Super” delegates.
It’s the only reason why that poll has him leading. There are more registered INDs than REPs and a third more registered DEMs than REPs. Also, that poll is showing that Trump has higher favourability with INDs than DeSantis, 37 to 27.
Democratic voting Trumps actual economics eh?
Brilliant.
Not every single Republican needs to cheat. You only need a copy machine printing and lots of ballots- just like the Demons.
Lordie.
Low quality public goods, yes, but that’s not why I live here, I was born here…and will stay unless literal land rent to First Nations Australians becomes a legal reality.
Im afraid that is likely as they thought he would have bowed out by now under the pressure of indictments. What’s more, the indictments are now getting him sympathy from black voters which the Democrats will not stand for.
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson said the escalating partisan attacks on former President Trump have left him believing that Democrats are “speeding towards assassination” as a final resort to stop the Republican presidential frontrunner from retaking the White House.
Im afraid that is likely as they thought he would have bowed out by now under the pressure of indictments.
It is Shakespearian…. fatal flaws and all that.
Australian “public goods”.
Pay for private healthcare insurance, semi consenting.
Get a “rebate” for not being punished with higher taxes.
Pay 2% Medicare levy on gross income every year you work.
Medical costs, insurance are generally not tax deductible.
(Pay) to go see a doctor for primary care, who all belong to a cartel. In other industries, cartels are ILLEGAL…you get about half of your fee back. Running this transfer system employs of thousands of Federal employees.
Also, PHI & pharmacists are also in cartels. We have a drug subsidy for expensive drugs, but the forms are rebated virtually the same amount under the table (Part F).
Doctor’s fees & salaries increased massively above inflation since the inception of “free” medical care.
What a great system.
As Frank Walker would say, “How lucky I am!”.
Bon its got nothing to do with saving the planet and all to do with saving themselves for the next grift. A civil war is the only way out.
Cronkite, what’s the percentage estimate?
You’re looking at it the wrong way. At the close of first day counting they calculate what extra ballots they need and produce them. They did that in AZ, GA, Penn, MI and WI. End of story. Losing Trump ballots, frauding in nursing homes and stopping scrutiny are just the icing on the cake.
“What’s to stop the GOP from cheating also?”
The same thing that stops Trump from saying “come get me” instead of showing up as requested – if you don’t play by the rules, you can’t claim the moral high ground, can you?
Trump is a classic narcissist
No he is not.
Indeed. Macbeth comes to mind
Memo to Australian bubble-blowers: Courtesy of Powerline blog, a fancy new redefinition of taxation: ‘Unlocking funds.’
Think of it as a temporary refund adjustment.
Trump is a classic narcissist
No he is not.
Please explain! (to use the words of a certain lady).
Seriously? Tomorrow morning I’ll have some ladies over for morning tea…same ones every week. One is an aborigine.
But we’re all a colour blind, so there’s that.
The answer in the US is the same as it ever was: play to the rules as written, not to the rules as you think they are meant to be.
If a state allows ballot harvesting, early voting etc etc, then USE it!

From The Gateway Pundit – These 100 people are especially brave as they would be aware they will be targeted by the Left.
It may be that the relentless attacks will have a very large proportion of the US voteherd realising they have to destroy the Democrats before they are destroyed themselves.
Consider what that would be of the total PAYE tax grab.
Now consider cancelling all the Aboriginal grift money and removing it from your tax paid each week.
It would be an enormous pay rise.
