Ukraine broke off in the early 90s. All this US control, all this US posturing for 30 odd years and even now, after it’s been invaded and 10s of thousands young men killed or maimed and Ukraine is not a NATO member nor gained membership to the EU. And because of this speedy accession to both organisations Russia was hurriedly forced to stop it.

Nick Cave has a site where people ask anything and he answers.

The Red Hand Files began in September of 2018 as a simple idea – a place where I would answer questions from my fans. Over the years, The Red Hand Files has burst the boundaries of its original concept to become a strange exercise in communal vulnerability and transparency. Hundreds of letters come in each week, asking an extraordinarily diverse array of questions, from the playful to the profound, the deeply personal to the flat-out nutty. I read them all and try my best to answer a question each week. The Red Hand Files has no moderator, and it is not monetized, and I am the only one who has access to the questions that sit patiently waiting to be answered. Thank you all for being a part of what has become, at least for me, a life-changing, soul enriching exercise in commonality and togetherness.

Love, Nick

The self-represented Woodhead “sought to maintain the discredited fiction” that he was not the appellant or person who committed the traffic offence “because he has dual legal personalities”.

I think I can see the problem.

To the footy fans and black balls post of the 4 great coaches.
Jack Oates cachedSturt in the 60s & 70s.
The first coach th speak to the players rather than yell at them and bollock them. In 67 champions of Australia turt v Carlton. Sturt won with Barassi coaching Carlton.
Sturt won. Jack Oatey was the first coach to implement fast ball movt with precion kicking. The fast ball movt was the hand ball. His player on reflection were elite kickers and fair players – they were not dirty or underhanded.
He had speedy mid fielders fast half forwards with searing goal kicking.
Fos Williams and Neil Kelley were the other coaches – more like Barassi.

JC and Dover.
Thank you the debate re Russia v Ukraine
JC agree the hatred of the European countries fear and hatred of the Russian jackboot.
Dover agree with the supply of weapons used to kill 14,000 Russian citizens in the Donetsk region.
As you have previously mentioned Dover, you had the situation the Russian language was going to be pushed out or relegated with the ukranian langauge usurping it as the main langauge.
I like to raise the point of what a wise and good man told me, the reason for having borders which intersect other races, or have population oblasts is for the dominating power to continually be called in to resolve the dispute or use its military powers to crush any uprising.
Is this the cause of the war now.
Look forward to your and Jo comments.
