Yes Roger but thousands die each day in Gaza, then get up next morning and die all over again the following day. Terrible carnage. Gazans have a remarkable rejuvenation ability though, as I have been seeing on TikTok.
Yeah the US seems to be (mis) governed by hideous, ancient monsters – the living dead.
Sucks more for the pan handlers.
As I see it, Israel’s choice given the Palestinian tactic of hiding behind their own civilians is: do they protect their own civilians or Palestinian ones? Wishing it was possible to protect both is just that – a wish. Not an option. If the Israelis pull back to preserve Palestinian civilians then they sacrifice their own. Hamarse has decided there will be death.
But if Israel snuffs out Hamarse there is a hope that the blood drenched cycle will end.
Alas, there is absolutely no hope for Mike Carlton.

How many more times do the Palestinians have to reject a “Two State” solution, before it sinks in that they just are not interested any solution that allows the continued existence of Israel?
They might not need to rely upon that so much if they employed doctors rather than actors to operate MRI machinery.

That’s why they voted for Hamas.
Remember, when a politician says ‘investment’ they just mean spending. The meaning is not the same as in the productive economy.
Oh, and Mike Carlton is exposing himself again with a picture of some happy people behind a giant banner with the Israeli flag on it. Mike asks “What are they celebrating?” His brief sojourn in Britain back in the early ‘80s(?) really broke him.”
Carlton likes to expose himself. Just ask the citizens of Whale Beach.

That’s what I’m afraid of as most of my money is in my super account. I’m hoping that the super fund doesn’t invest too heavily in renewables. At the last agm when some green Karens asked why the fund didn’t invest more in green energy he explained that the fund wanted to maximise gains for members which seemed a polite way of saying because it doesn’t make financial sense.
I try to make that point any time I deal with a cafe or restaurant. Easy to drop some coins or small notes in a tip jar, but gets peoples back up if you’re charging a tip on top of the bill by card. It’s not the tipping culture of the USA.

The Mystery Of Israel
1 hr
Just watched the video and decided to put it on the blog as a post.
Now even the pretense of being even handed by the denizens of that blog has gone.
The link was posted on Dash-Cat.
Watched about 20 minutes of it, that was more than enough.
The rest seems to be padding it out with repetitions for time.
Anyway I have no more time for it.
After ignominiously discharging servicemen for not getting vaccinated, and then inflicting woke on the rest of them, I’m not at all surprised by this.
Hurting for recruits, [US] Air Force will now accept applicants as old as 42
Also have to wonder when they’ll be sued by some fat lesbian for discrimination, leading to cockpits being enlarged to fit whales. No doubt “cockpits ” and “joy sticks” will have to be renamed too.
Exactly. But it has currency (couldn’t resist) as propaganda for people who do not know that there was a British Mandate and who do not know that the demonym Palestinian for the Arabs in Israel is only very new – was it Yasser Arafat who came up with it?
if someone comes up with a way to transact everyday electronically with precious metals then I assume cash and bitcoin would both disappear.

In the too good to check category, Dominoes got sprung in India recently for selling pizzas with no dairy content to the cheese. Some form of industrial solvent no doubt. One suspects the answer to your question is yes, yes it can become a rear facing Karcher.
As you know, Cass, Hairy cancelled once due to the moderation and let them know about it. There was discussion with a senior editor. As I enjoyed some of the content I subscribed personally, and Hairy sneakily then started reading the articles again. 🙂
However, I am certainly disgusted with the moderation lately, especially on Israel.
I suggested here you could write an article on being Jewish in Sydney right now, for the Oz. They probably wouldn’t publish it because ‘reasons’, but maybe you could try the Speccie, or even Quadrant (although there is often a longer lead-time for Quadrant). You could get some modelling maybe from the latest Quadrant’s publication of a “Letter from Tel Aviv”.
Start typing. A compelling intro and then some personal experiences. I was encouraged here to write for Quadrant and I wouldn’t have ever got my courage up to do so without that encouragement.
He recognized the “abhorrent and unjustifiable acts of violence committed against Kenyans” in their struggle for statehood adding, “there can be no excuse.”

Luckily, China has taken on Presidency of the UN Security Council for November.
And straight out of the box with practical ‘why did nobody think of that‘ solutions:
Gallup polling taken just before 7/10 suggests how the Palestinian people would decide.
It’s almost as if China wants the situation to fester and bring pain to the US.
I can remember when this fear was ridiculed.
Polls are fun.
Gaza Polls: Majority Support Attacks on Israelis (1 Nov)
80% of people in Lebanon support Hamas’s Oct. 7 massacres in Israel, poll finds (31 Oct)
Well kids, you are getting what you wanted. Your guys have totally free rein to attack Israelis to your hearts content. What, it isn’t going how you wanted it to go? That’s really amazing! Who’da thunk it? Here, have another UN protein biscuit.
Not only China.

Simply filthy stuff, the Protocols of Zion ride again. Amazing to me how much these old tropes still have purchase on the minds of those prone to conspiracy theories. I had to say firmly to some fool at a dinner a year or so back that the way he was spouting this sort of trope, with his pompous sagacity, indicated to me he must be completely feeble-minded. You believe total nonsense fabricated and used by Nazis, I said, and I won’t listen to it at a dinner table supposed to be civilised. If you are going to say that sort of thing, start eating with your hands and licking your plate. Suits you.
The topic was then turned to other matters and he and I parted ways in conversation, for there were twenty diners.
I hate to think such things are now being published under the name of Catallaxy Files. Sinc would hate that.
Adam has a lot to answer for there.
As I wrote the other night, we’re regressing into Cold War power bloc politics, with geopolitical flashpoints that were papered over by several decades of globalisation reappearing with a vengeance.
The “new world order” is evaporating before our eyes.
“The latest horror claims come from mother-of-five Shannon Ashton who believes her children, all from the same donor, could have as many as 1000 siblings after she uncovered he had donated hundreds of times in four years.
Ms Ashton said her family, including her three teenagers, live in constant fear they will become romantically involved with a biological relative.”
There was a documentary on SBS last year that shone a light on this.
Apparently, Shannon Ashton (a lesbian in a lesbian relationship) went to a gathering (presumably of other lesbians), and whilst at the gathering there was an uncomfortable realisation that some of the kids (including hers) all looked very similar.
All of this was inevitable. I recommend the book by OZ journalist Sarah Dingle.
There’s an obscure evolutionary oddity where siblings are attracted to each other.
As for surrogacy and donor insemination, both should be banned. Call me harsh, I don’t care. It is NOT a right to have a child.
The latest horror claims come from mother-of-five Shannon Ashton who believes her children, all from the same donor,
5 kids and all from “donations” ……?
The thing to remember with the Paywallian is that the radical activists being turned out by university journalism schools are not only at war with their readers, but also with their editors.
The editors place the stories and opinion pieces, then the J-school kiddies subvert the commenting system to ban anything from readers that Green voters wouldn’t like (as Cats have recently testified).
It’s the same with all the Australian J-schools which, because of their university locations, have become activist factories. Newspaper editors loathe them as they are verging on illiterate (as areff will attest and I have seen as a university J-school tutor) on top of their elitist hatred of their readers.
Like air force recruitment it’s really weird how so few sperm donors come forward these days, if I can say that.
Maybe the anonymity thing was a good idea? Just saying. And family law lawfare to extract dosh from donors isn’t?
(There was an article in the Tele recently of some kids trying to find their donor father. They succeeded, but I can’t find it.)
Take a plebiscite. They can become a region, as part of Egypt (their co-religionists) or as a regional part of Wider Israel, like the many arabs already living within Israel’s democracy. That’s the geography of it. There is not enough land to creat a separate state.
I’m always amused by beneficiaries of this service that they think they have some control over the process. If they wanted to know who is the donor they could have asked a friend to contribute.
Oh, and Mike Carlton is exposing himself again with a picture of some happy people behind a giant banner with the Israeli flag on it. Mike asks “What are they celebrating?” His brief sojourn in Britain back in the early ‘80s(?) really broke him.
Early 90s, ML. I remember as he finished at 2GB in December 1990 he broke down and started blubbing when he played “I still call Australia, home”. Risible stuff. About a week later, Ray Taylor who was retiring on ABC Sydney (then 2BL) breakfast mocked him as he left by saying “If you thinking I’m going to start crying like Mike Carlton did, you’ve got another thing coming.” Short pause. “Wait a moment let me look at my last radio ratings figures”. That guy was witty and self-deprecating, unlike Carlton.
Carlton went to work at LBC London for three years and put on the infamous faux British accent, “air hellair!”. Apparently his fellow presenters loathed him and mocked his love of being a “naturalist” that he apparently still enjoys.
Yes indeed.
And at a time with the US at historic political weakness.
Some good news:

I wonder if Mikey Carlton is the troll!?
Carlton is a rat. I genuinely would like to meet him.
What is a right is for a child to know their parentage. Anonymous ‘donations’ are a very bad idea, always have been. They encourage self-aggrandizing lunatic males to donate often, probably a poor genetic trait to put into circulation. And ‘surrogate’ mums are simply poor women who are being exploited.
Where, rarely, people ‘donate’ in either sex out of pity and sympathy, then the least that can be done is to legally recognise the identity of such donors. ‘Donors’ should accept that they are becoming parents, whether they like it or not, and they should have responsibilities to any children they produce – just as happens in normal life with one-nite stands. Guard your gametes, a good motto to live by.
History as shown again and again that weakness invites aggression. I believe their attackers are already mostly in place and more coming in via the open border. What’s to say the US will not suffer a similar attack as the 7/10 attack on Israel?
Last month Albanese gave China an assurance we’ll not revoke their 99 year lease on the Darwin port.
In return we got Cheng Lei and they’ll consider letting our wine back in next year.

He wasn’t doxxing them since they all put their own names to the Hamas support letters openly. If the SWAT guys have been called out three times to the same address in three days for the same reason, and it’s fake each time, that means they’re either clueless or in on it. Lucky he wasn’t killed.

There is a Dutch bloke who was barred in Holland , but kept dobiting in other countries. He now has a court order preventing him fromm donating.
https://www.news9live.com/deep-dive/explained-why-a-dutch-court-ordered-a-sperm-donor-to-stop-donating-au36-2123374#:~:text=Last%20Friday%2C%20a%20Dutch%20court%20ordered%2041-year-old%20Jonathan,any%20more%20than%2025%20children%20across%2012%20families.
I used to think ‘so what – they cant take it back to China’ when I heard about potential enemies owning assets in Australia.
Thats true, but in our IT run world, owning the asset still gives them control over the operating system of the asset (and the ability to insert remote kill switches) meaning said asset *could* but destroyed or turned off to exert pressure on Australia. As an example – say China owned several of our critical power stations – it could threaten to nuke them in a software sense (or even do so temporarily as a demonstration) unless certain things happened – eg Australia stood down its naval assets supporting Taiwan.
Given our now unstable grid, shutting down say 20% of it might well cause a cascading series of failures which took it all down – and within days, our dark powerless cities cease to function, with all the attendant social chaos that engenders.
Respectfully, no.
This is a very short half-step to ‘responsibilities’ becoming ‘responsible for the upkeep of the child’. If that were to become part of the deal, the number of sperm donors would drop to zero.
While this may be fair enough for one-night stands, and I believe it is, it is most certainly not part of the deal for sperm donorship, the primary purpose for which is to allow families who could not otherwise have children that opportunity – with no guarantees.
Whether that process has devolved to turkey-basting for faux-lesbians is irrelevant.
Serve him up with something healthy though.

Relatedly, the President of Hungary promoted her country’s pro-family policies very well on Rita’s show last night. Two great women – worth watching.

Yes, the razors on the posters story is preposterous. The Jews are far more ingenious, anyway.
The sense of humour dictates one of those Wile E. Coyote style rocks coming out of thin air to flatten them. Or a big mallet on a pantograph that pops out of the poster, clocks them one then disappears.

There’s an awful lot of the 40-60 cohort that see their time in the sandbox as a waste, and the way the military has been used and treated more recently as anything other than a patriotic service. On top of that I regularly read the core demographic that served is now standing aside.

I’ve banged on about this over the years as this strategic failure has developed, so sorry to repeat.
You can expect, with 97.3% confidence that, if push ever comes to shove with China, Australia’s electricity system will suddenly not function as planned by the Arts/Law graduates at AEMO.
Most of the East Coast power system is controlled by entities controlled by Emperor Xi – and the control system itself is sufficiently complex, distributed, and opaque that any family of 5-line Trojans will take a long time to discover and evict.
The chance that there are no such Trojans currently in place is approximately zero.

I like Longines, JC – especially the heritage collection.
The Conquest you linked to is a quartz but, yeah, it’s a Swiss quartz and is a very solid watch.
Longines – like most brands in the Swatch group now – uses excellent ETA off-the-shelf mechanical calibres (often re-badged as an “L” something). These are serviceable anywhere and high quality. That’s also why Longines is affordable vis-a-vis, say, Rolex, which of course still makes its own bespoke movements.
Having said that, Longines prices are slowly going up.

Interesting point BoN. Apart from having read the Lebanese security services are hand-holders with hezbollocks, I’ve not followed the civil situation there, nor Syria to any extent. I would have thought, however, that it was in hezbollock’s best interests for h@m@s and the Isr@elis to chew each other up.

Not on the mutley scale though.
Dunno about the chick with 5 kids all to same sperm donor.
Wonder as mentioned above she’s fishing for the identity to roll the paternity dice. 5 kids is a nice little earner from Centrelink. However teenagers fly the nest and that payment dwindles. Then I came across the Lesbian couple and their lawsuit.
Bingo, guess a medical company with professional liability insurances are an easier target than a randy blonde surfy who probably doesn’t have regular job. I sniff a class action coming from 30-40yo ladies who are staring a being returned to paid work when the allowances dry up.

When simplicity beats profund …. luv it! 10/10 ..
Tolkien was prophetic in his depiction of The Shire under the rule of the interloping, greedy Ruffians, with the few corrupted Hobbits and the Shirriffs enforcing the Rules (only ever applicable to Hobbits and no one else).
The Hobbits, bewildered and bemused, unused to an interloper who would grab all, share nothing and rub their noses in it should they arc up.
A local vignette follows.
There is a bayside beach here, quiet, small, enclosed and within walking distance of many holiday apartments and, of course, owner-occupied homes. It is netted, so safe from sharks, no waves, so perfect for children.
Every school holiday, and particularly the Christmas holidays, a mass of tourists arrive and take over the beach. They erect structures for shade that looks almost like a small encampment. They range over most of the beach. The structures are left up overnight, and usually for weeks. In the morning bedraped pieces of property are sent to watch over the camp. These are used because they may not be approached by an interloper (read local) without a swarm of “protectors” arriving to drive off the audacious one.
There is no room left for anyone else. And when the camp is lifted…well, you can imagine what is left behind.
Last holidays, a friend was having his usual bayside walk beside the temporary village. A Council Ranger was there doing his rounds. A prominent sign reads “no camping”. The Ranger was asked, “what about this? These are left up for weeks.”
Answer, “What are you, a racist?”. And the Ranger walked off.
Rate payers pay for the upkeep of the beach and surrounds. They are physically forced off the beach by people clearly disobeying the law. Yet, like the Hobbits of Hobbiton, their essential good nature is being trashed and the authorities such as they are do nothing.

Yep. Line of the year.
Hopefully it will all come undone one day.
The Men who wanted to be left alone
“The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone.
They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love.
They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it.
They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over.
The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide.
They are literally killing off who they used to be.
Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives.
They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror.
TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy… but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone.”

“Blogging here is now about power and it’s boring….
and it used to be about so much more.
I loved this blog because it was like a “touchstone” of articulate well informed people who could put me onto gems of information I could never have found elsewhere.
Also you folks were a way if me taking the temperature of real conservatives who could help me knock the corners off some of my crazier ideas.
Sure you had trolls, but you were never seeing them leap out of the shadows as you seem to now.
Back then you used to converse politely and convincingly with people who genuinely wanted informative conversation. When it became clear they were not genuine you wanted them gone and told them so. But you took pages and pages to do so. Unnecessary . Superfluous to requirements.
Sure some came in with ideas fixed in cement and just wanted to rev you up … Which was a shame because it did derail legitimate discourse.
I am as horrified as anyone about the conflict in , was going to say the ME…. but practically now, everywhere… Just wanted to find out what others thought.
Perhaps I now have my answer?
The online university Trump is talking about could be incredibly good. It would be free, or very inexpensive, and totally unwoke, and you would have academics competing against each other to sell their courses. Of course, if the deomonrats ever got back in, they’d destroy it, but his plan, which also includes accreditation, would be excellent. Funding it? He’s talking about taking away some of the funding from the big universities with huge endowments.
Also, he may even lap the Demons with the Soros-backed AGs and prosecutors. Apparently, non-violent crime in the US, like theft, is geographically concentrated and actually forms about less than 10% of the prison population. He’s talking about offering non-violent thieves a chance to redeem themselves by heading off to some isolated location in the sticks and assisting them with learning a skill or two.
These aren’t the ideas of an old man. These are the ideas of a vigorous young dude.
There’s one hitch, though. Again, he’s talking about raising tariffs, this time by 10%. Tariff hikes didn’t work out too well the last time, although they were somewhat offset by the corporate tax rate being significantly lowered from 35% to 21%. The deficit may not allow him this time. Tariffs are a really bad idea.
Oh, let’s not forget cheap energy too that would help. However, I’m not a believer in tariffs.

Girls not garbed in draperies who dare use the beach are fair game.
My view is that it shouldn’t be anonymous and that it should entail some level of acknowledgement of paternity. There could be legal protections against a child making financial claims against the donor, that could be written into the donation system. But emotional claims made by a child should be par for the course; the difficulty might arise the other way round too – emotional claims made by a donor father (or mother) on the child; and that in my view would be part and parcel (to coin a cliche) of the whole deal. You don’t produce a child thoughtlessly; that is not moral, and if you do say in a one nite stand then you wear the consequences.
Don’t donate to provide the other half of the sexual generative equation if you can’t stand the thought of your progeny wanting at least to meet you, and be prepared too that if you want to meet those kids they may decide to axe you; kids can do that to parents anyway. Their agency as kids is simply part of the deal.
Look at this bullshit:
Tory MP Bob Stewart is found guilty of racially abusing activist after telling him to ‘go back to Bahrain’ and saying: ‘You’re taking money off my country, go away!’
Here’s what happened:
Stewart, asked for his thoughts on the allegations of racial hostility, had earlier said: ‘That’s absurd, it’s totally unfair, my life has been, I don’t want to say destroyed, but I am deeply hurt at having to appear in a court like this.’
The MP declared: ‘I am not a racist.’
He continued: ‘He was saying that I was corrupt and that I had taken money. My honour was at stake in front of a large number of ambassadors. It upset me and I thought it was extremely offensive.’
Westminster Magistrates’ Court was earlier shown footage of the incident in which Alwadaei asked Mr Stewart: ‘For how much did you sell yourself to the Bahraini regime?’
Stewart replied: ‘Get stuffed, Bahrain is a great place, end of.’
‘You were paid by them recently,’ Alwadaei added.
‘Go away, I hate you, you make a lot of fuss, go back to Bahrain,’ replied Stewart.
Alwadaei asked Stewart again how much he sold himself to the Bahraini regime for, to which Stewart responded: ‘I didn’t. Now shut up you stupid man’.
So, the black activist calls the tory corrupt and gets a gob full back but any criticism of these c..ts is automatically racist.

Tariffs are indeed a bad idea. But if the other guy (i.e. China) is doing it (and he most certainly is!), then I’m not sure that I see a short term alternative.
I tend to think his tendency to tariffs is a somewhat unhealthy outgrowth of MAGA… but despite it being a bad idea, it’s probably much less of a bad idea right now.

I am truly perplexed as it seems all the warning signs have been there for decades and we are sleepwalking to oblivion. I honestly don’t know the answer to what is the tipping point to rid our country of those that hate us so. I feel for Cassie for it is the Jews copping it now but sooner or later it will be the rest of us.
Our US cousins keep telling us that we need guns but theirs have not helped them and their country is going to hell in a handbasket. It really is perplexing.

Women who are using oestrogen patches can easily get the same thing by using a pump-action oestrogen gel for transdermal application. And here I go now, out to get a script for the next few months filled before the rush after I’ve pointed that out.
I actually prefer tablets as they give a better result. Never a twitch of any achey joint or arthritic pain on them, but on the gel (insisted on by zealot docs who don’t like the DVT I got with my fractured foot) I find I get a few more occasional aches on my morning walk. Nothing like what I’d get without HRT though. I’ve tried a month off and lordy I can tell the difference in so many ways.

I would like to know if all of you hawks, Pancho, Katz, Lizzie and of course Dot, who never saw a war she didn’t like, are still happy with Bibi’s decision to send the IDF into Gaza?
I believe the decision to enter Gaza and the timing were pretty well on the mark. The tunnels of security for the blood thirsty sub human murderers of innocent civilians are set to become their final resting place as Israel closes the loop, seals the entrances and uses robots and time to exterminate the vermin….
Gaza City, the sanctuary rat hole of some of history’s most vile monsters who, according to recently released information, baked a baby alive in an oven at kibbutz Kfar Aza, has been completely surrounded by the IDF. There is no escape now because the Israeli’s meticulously planned this isolation and waited until all their assets were in place before executing it. Brilliant.
Here’s the thing.
Someone, somewhere is having career boss babes and lessos pay 100k to be “introduced” to them. Then he’ll look up archives of Ankles Weekly and the rest is left as an exercise to the reader (or not).

Lizzie:
I said earlier that this was a very short half-step to paying child support, and that if this would be the case genuine donor numbers would drop to zero. Which they would.
By all means donors should accept that they will become fathers – but that is a very different scenario to becoming parents. It’s an even bigger jump to becoming a Dad.
