the Al Aqsa mosque was built on the site where that ascension was supposed to have taken place

That’s a retrofit to fit a legend. The first mosque built on the ruins of the Temple was an unimportant waypoint for pilgrims from Damascus to Mecca.

Brown was blindsided by this and, in keeping with the modern Bible …

Wybrow was getting close to establishing this today, but was pulled back by the Magistrate when Higgins got teary & emotional. He demonstrated, using her answers after much prodding, that the r0pe allegations did not surface until she became aware her job was under threat.

Ms Higgins admitted she was ‘not always correct’ in evidence she gave during Mr Lehrmann’s criminal trial

An opinion of a lawyer I discussed this with this afternoon.
He seems to think because Ms Higgins is unreliable, that will either play into Channel 10’s hands or, more importantly, mitigate the damages.

Keep in mind, it’s what Channel 10 knew or reasonably knew at the time (that’s how Michael Lee runs these cases, which is very different the to the judge in the BRS case/circus).

He seems to think that both BH & BL were both terrible witnesses & would be betting Michael Lee with devote a chunk of his written ruling to this, like he has done in previous cases.

Time will tell.

Epitaph.

Isaacson, who had full access to Dr. Kissinger and many of his friends, described him as “brilliant, conspiratorial, furtive, sensitive to linkages and nuances, prone to rivalries and power struggles, charming yet at times deceitful.”

A fun guy, for certain definitions of fun. He used to play the board game Diplomacy in the White House with Kennedy. A fine training exercise! I might’ve played it too once or twice (playing Austria against Frogs and Belgians in the world champs in Birmingham was a bastard, three to one odds…I lasted to 1904, an achievement I am very proud of. The infernal trio lost to France/Britain. Even with that fiasco I placed tenth in that competition, I was the only Aussie there, so pride of the flag was upheld.)

High Society news – former stunner and now inflatable car yard prop Nat Bassingthwaighte is cranky about the reaction to her going public with her new love, who is both a chick and a chick doing her very best impression of being an ugly bloke (the Tele):

Australian performer Natalie Bassingthwaighte has addressed the “vicious hate” and trolling she’s received on social media since going public with her new same-sex relationship, following the end of her 12-year marriage.

In a two-part video posted to her Instagram on Thursday morning, Bassingthwaighte told trolls and paparazzi: “I want it to stop.”

Of course you do, darling. Of course you do. And it took you a two-part Insta video to do it, because one wouldn’t provide nearly enough opportunities for grandstanding.

Cameron McGlinchey – whom she married in 2011

And justifiably, when she was at her peak:

and with whom she shares daughter Harper, 13, and son Hendrix, 10 – was supportive of Bassingwaithe making her new love public.

I bet he is. Now he can go ‘Look at this appalling Radio Rental specimen. Just look at the state of it.’

If the Al Aqsa mosque is the claimed to be an absolute sticking point.
This bloke had a simple answer.

Yes a mistake by Moshe Dyan – he was acting “Exodus” instead of “King David”.
Note the Hamas called their slaughter the Al Aqsa Flood.
Just as an aside the Oz who tried to burn it down was a follower of Herbert W Armstrong and the Radio Church of God. I knew it would come around.
Historically the Israelis have four choices
Exterminate the Gazans ( as the Mongols would have done)
Move them out ( as the Turks would have done.. and Stalin)
Make them 2nd class citizens ( as the Moslem conquests did)
Convert them ( as was done very well in Australia with the Aborigines for a while)

To my knowledge there is no other option from history. But I am willing to learn.

By coincidence I am currently reading a book on Argetinian antisemitism.
It’s a long and complicated trawel through the political and reilgious nationalism that has benighted that paradise.
I knew that the various juntas of colonels including Peron employed antisemitism and exclusion of Jews as tools to cozy up to Hitler. I was less aware that the Church employed antisemitism as part of their campaign to implement the dream of a purely Catholic nation state.
The endless ins and outs of fascist or communist juntas had no effect upon antisemitism, it remained in place as a fixed tenet of Argentinian culture. The radicalisation of the church through various liberationist and communist doctrines has also left antisemitism in place amongst rhe clerics.
The author commented that antisematism and liberation of the Malvinas are probably the only doctrines that never get questioned in Argentina.
It all makes one shudder to think that a product and sponsor of this lunacy is Pope.

There is one hostage the media seems to be deliberately not mentioning.

Pretty sure an Israeli General was captured as saw a pic of him being escorted by Hamas guys. He would be of great value to a number of countries and doubt he will ever be returned.

As for Brittany I heard Giles on Sharris show. Giles thought she was credible. I am sorry but it is now very clear she lied about going to visit a Dr when she was actually at a social gathering. Plus she is now saying not sure if bruise caused by Bruce.

How could anybody convict him based on her word alone.

What’s very clear from these media organisations use of the “truth” defence in recent history is there needs to be a lot of legislative reform in this area.
Stricter guidelines that stop multi year fishing expeditions (like the BRS case).
Monster penalties for media organisations that will make them think twice before going after individuals based on flimsy accusations.
Probably a few other things too.

Clear legislation.
Clear regulation.
And most importantly, a clear path to rectify wronged parties without having to spend millions on lawyers.

ftb – defamation is a murky area of the law. There are numerous examples of publishers losing defamation cases on to find out years later (often on the death of the winner) that the accusations were actually true. Courts and the trial process is certainly not infallible in this area nor any other. You can have arguments about where the balance ought to lie and the costs of litigation. I’m not sure things are seriously out of whack.

Enablers.
None of the current hot-topic issues – the demonisation of Israel and normalisation of selective murder; and the Bru-Bri legal case being just two – would exist without the third-party enablers which/who pump oxygen into them for various reasons. The lamestream/legacy/Mesozoic media are just one such collective, albeit the most influential.

If anyone wanted to develop tactics to effectively respond to similarly curated issues in the future, the key is to focus on the enablers, rather than simply ‘raising awareness’ of the main issue. The enablers protect the main character.

I don’t have any detailed answers, but I do believe that the present ‘Let’s keep doing what we’ve always done, because it’s familiar and comfortable’ doctrine is not only not producing any measurable outcomes, it is pushing back potential solutions for the following generations.

An opinion of a lawyer I discussed this with this afternoon.
He seems to think because Ms Higgins is unreliable, that will either play into Channel 10’s hands or, more importantly, mitigate the damages.

Therefore one can:
A) Make up a sh!tload of bollocks to destroy someone’s reputation.

He was concerned about a full-blown “Jihad” – a “Holy War.”

Yes, best to leave it there, control it, control access, kindly as per my suggestion offering limited one-day visas for the mosque only. The site is actually acres large and has historical relevance to all three world religions. The mosque is only one part of it. That the Muzzies control all access to the whole site is wrong and I hope that has changed now. If not, it should, after October 7th.

Razing it would insult the religion of Islam, which is unnecessary, rather as if they razed the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and insulted Christians everywhere. Let the three religions make their claims but the Jews are the oldest occupiers so should have the main say re access; it is on their ancient territory.

I for one believe his legacy is tarnished, to say the least.

Plenty of code words in what I have seen published. Does mUnty need help?

Of course not, all he needs is the daily leftard talking points. They are kept simple, to match the intellects of the recipients. Dubbya, bad; Stalin gooood; Trump eeeeevilll; Mao, brilliant; Kissinger bad; Pol Pot, a great, under-appreciated agrarian reformer.

That’s a retrofit to fit a legend. The first mosque built on the ruins of the Temple was an unimportant waypoint for pilgrims from Damascus to Mecca.

Thanks for that one – still a pity the Israelis didn’t raze the place in 1967.

My understanding is that the Israelis will not raze it as they are unsure of where the position of the Holy of Holies is situated and do not wish to risk defiling it unintentionally. I have read that a Jewish researcher Asher Kaufmann thinks it is under a little cupola known as the shrine of the spirits near the mosque. This has not been proven either way.

I think it was thought that the mosque sits over the Holy of Holies as it was supposed to be the spot where Abraham was ready to sacrifice Isaac and the islamic false prophet ascended to heaven (descended to hell is more like it).

I’d love to see that abomination destroyed but patience.

Cassie or Katzenjammer, you may be aware of anything more up to date regarding this. I read it a long time ago so things may have changed.

Pretty sure an Israeli General was captured as saw a pic of him being escorted by Hamas guys. He would be of great value to a number of countries and doubt he will ever be returned.

Oh and the other thing lawyer friend said too was that it is possible for Channel 10 to win in their case but Wilkinson to lose hers.
How does that work, I says?
Apparently there is precedent in Oz for rulings in civl cases for this to happen.

I can see where Channel 10 can defend themselves by saying that they trusted Wilkinson, a seasoned journalists to follow the law and journalistic ethics with this story and were also horrified by the later revelations. This then leaves Wilkinson open to further litigation where that recorded lunch with Brittany may sink her.

Monster’s Biblical convictions about who is and isn’t in Hell reminds me of the People’s Court trials of the July 20 conspirators in Nazi Germany.

Judge Roland Freisler was as usual haranguing defendants, in this case, Josef Wirmer. Friesler shouted at Wirmer with glee (Wirmer was a devout Catholic) “You will soon be in Hell”,

Wirmer bowed to the judge and simply said “I’ll look forward to your imminent arrival, Mr President.”

Wirmer was soon hanged, but Friesler was killed in his court a few month’s later during an Allied air raid. The doctor at the hospital who declared Freisler dead simply remarked, “This is God’s verdict”.

Education Minister Prue Car has launched a blistering slap down on teachers who have worn Keffiyeh scarfs and brought pro-Palestinian protest signs into classrooms instead of focusing on actually teaching children, warning it will provoke civil unrest across NSW.

Ms Car’s strong words in parliament on Thursday came after the NSW Teachers Federation unanimously voted at a meeting on Tuesday to supply union banners to school staff marching in pro-Palestine protests, and to also assert “the right of members to wear the Palestinian scarf, the keffiyeh, at work”.

The union also waded into the geopolitics of the Middle East and called for a ceasefire in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Department of Education has warned teachers who break the code of conduct by engaging in political behaviour in school, they will be disciplined and subject to appropriate action.

“Teachers are expected to be politically neutral during class, on school grounds or anytime they identify themselves as a NSW public school teacher,” a department spokesman said.

“We provide clear guidance around this for all our employees in our Code of Conduct.”

He left us with the sun on the last day of Spring. Surrounded by family.

This morning he greeted his eldest granddaughter with a little smile, she held his hand for about half an hour. Like the last box that was ticked, everything started to go south after that. So we sat around, talking about stupid family stuff, hoping he heard us. And then as the shadows became long and the sky outside grew dark, his breathing changed.

I got up, stroked his hair and kissed him. Oh, Dad! And with that he breathed his last.

Labor wymyn will do and overlook anything, to court a certain demographic’s vote, it seems.

The Sheriff’s Office claims the program’s goal is to predict and prevent crime before it happens by targeting people they suspect may commit crimes in the future, dubbing the approach “intelligence-led policing.”

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco, the architect of the program, boasted that the goal was to predict which residents are likely to commit crimes and then “take them out.” In the words of a former Pasco County deputy, they were under orders to “[m]ake their lives miserable until they move or sue.”

And that’s in the USA where such behaviour is unconstitutional.

Such as it was, my “defence” of Kissinger was to say that he was yesterday’s man.

As usual, when you have no actual evidence, you lie, and lie, and lie again.

And the reference to Pol Pot was a reminder of the international Left’s love affair with him, until even his Chinese sponsors abandoned him. You are probably too young to remember the Liars rejecting the allegations of mass slaughter in Kampuchea, as it then briefly was.

At what point did BH know a rape allegation had been made against him?

He always claimed that no sex took place. His whole case would have crashed with the production of one pubic hair.

It did it become publicly known that BH had not attended a DR and therefore there was no DNA evidence.

Did BH really gamble his whole life on there not being any incriminating DNA when the “smarter” move would have been to say that the sex was consensual?

Or was he certain that there was no DNA evidence as there had not been any sexual activity?

My bet is on the latter.

So, up until this particular court date, Britnah has served up a lot of “mis-remembering” and “confused recollections” and “suppressed facts because trauma”.
Today she admits she deliberately made up a story about Lehrmann removing her knickers allegedly because she was too embarrassed to admit she went commando in the first place.
Not mistaken.
Not misremembered.
Made up.
A made up story for a national TeeVee audience which claims Lerhman removed her knickers in preparation for a rape.
One wonders what lies of convenience Britnah might have told when, say, she was hauled into the bosses office for a chat about the previous Friday night’s escapades, knowing that a mis-step might see her beloved political career vapourised.

‘Sarfati’ is a Sephardi surname, once common among Northern Italian Jews. I wonder if Ofir’s family came from Venice? They let their “star signing” run the thing as an ambush with no right of reply.

Digger – If you have an electronic copy of your manuscript it would be a nice thing to put it up via Amazon’s self publishing service. Won’t make you any money, but the account will be out there.

Thanks Bruce. It was certainly never about money. You can’t publish/print a 320 page A4 size book with well over 150 photo’s in Tassie and think about making money. There is certainly a fair amount of thought about spending money – but goes with the territory. I also refused to give China any more money so I did it all myself…. I will look a bit closer into Amazon but last time I looked they wanted the rights to the book and that is a game stopper for me.

BREAKING: terror attack in Jerusalem.

Two Palestinian terrorists open fire at innocent Israeli civilians waiting at a bus stop in Jerusalem.

They slaughtered a 24 year-old woman and injured eight others, five of which are in critical condition.

Oh, you mighty warriors of Allah! Oh, you fearless soldiers of Islam! Go home, hide under the bed, and wait for the Israeli police to come knocking on the door.
