Well the good news is that by 5 years the ADF will have worked out which drone system to use. Might even have it available by 2030.
Just like the coming subs that are decades away.
We are so lucky our potential enemies are willing to wait for us to get our act together. However the good news is we can still win a war against NZ.
Meanwhile full steam ahead with military implementation of diversity, equity and inclusion and planning for the next Mardi Gras parade..

Obsessed stalker at it yet again.
Game, set and match to JMH.
Total now is about 307 wins.
Victim struggled.
Wonder what happened to the severed head?

I’ve had a hard day.
And again, I score against the obsessed stalker.
If Dover wishes to maintain this blog as a going concern via donations, then he has a choice to make. Either get rid of the Blog’s Abscess or put the thing into moderation. It’s his choice.
the size of the Indonesian Navy and Air Force is not exactly a deep secret
The Army is generally used as a rotational policing force in garrisons designed to keep the population shutting up.
The Navy, like the Air Force thing, is a “must have them for face” concept. The Indon Navy is not capable of properly operating warships, and anyone who chooses to go to sea in their submarines needs their head read.
It should be phonemic analysis. I want an independent linguist.
Which has the same crazy ring as in the Da Vinci Code, when super-semiotic prof Robert Langdon has a brainwave in a bus and calls out ‘quick! get me to a library!’.
Dover wishes to maintain the blog, I’m sure.
Dover also wishes that a putrid scumbag like Crazy Karen wouldn’t make constant accusations that he’s conducting a cash for comment operation, which is what Crazy Karen has often accused him of doing.
Also, Crazy Karen stalked Liz for 2 1/2 years in the most grotesque way, ably assisted by other scumbags. He recently tried to bully me until the maggot realized that doesn’t work.
“Game on”. I’m game.
Now look at this creature go crying to Dover.
Nothing to add to any discussion. Zero worth.
I can understand why the lying socialists of the alp think this minor discrepancy is material, but one would hope the NSW police would quickly realise that this revelation reflects extremely badly on their own credibility. One, where’s the Jews sounds nothing like gas the Jews, two, where’s the Jews suggests they were looking to bash Jews. Do they not see protesters should have been arrested?
I don’t make donations on content, JMH (as you’d surely know), but on freedom.
This blog has freedom. It’s worth paying for.
How would Kez know?
Aha. I wonder if our cunning linguist missed an opportunity here.
Perhaps they were merely calling out ‘bash the Jews’.
What’s that, you cunning chap (or chapette)? The cops wouldn’t pay that one and you had to find something else? So you headed for the digraph WH?
Pull the other one.
Cass, to paraphrase Marcus Brodie in a similar circumstance (kidnapped by Nazis), they’re a waste of good spit.
The NSWaffenPlod should be viewed with disgust and disdain, as one would gaze upon something hideous uncovered by turning over a piece of corrugated iron.
A stinking, maggot ridden corpse of a once proud organisation, riddled with corruption.
I can assure you the army is up to speed with drones.
It’s the navy that’s a worry.
One has to wonder if the Kenneally chap is the exception or the rule.

I apologise to the many decent contributors here but I WILL NOT sit back and cop ongoing vitriol from this depraved and vindictive stalker. He attacks every post I make.
The fact is the thing can’t beat me but he will, of course, continue to disrupt the flow of this blog.
Yes, I could scroll – as I have in the past but I am over this thing and I have no intention of letting the obviously sick individual continue unchallenged. He lies and he misrepresents. That’s his stock in trade.
Is there no greater satisfaction in life than rationalising the detritus on your desk????
Was inspired this afternoon to attempt the impossible.
Of course, the left, following NSW plod’s allegedly “absolving” Jew-haters, are now trying to claim some sort of moral victory, and saying “I told you they didn’t say that.”
It’s a lie. An obvious lie. Like a chocolate lipped and fingered three year old saying, noooooo, I didn’t touch the cake.
They’re pathetic.
BB from last night.
I’m just east of Bendigo atm.
Further to my musing above as to whether they would risk their careers by lying, to do so would surely mean they are confident of political protection.
If I refused to donate because I was under attack here, JC, then I would not donate at all. Under attack or not, and that varies, I donate because I think the freedom of this blog counts more than the fact that I am at times not well received upon it. At least I am free to say why I get hurt/angry/pissed off about this, and free also to continue on as ever.
JMH has been a serial attacker of me over the years. And now wants to remove others for attacking. Beauty, as ever, is in the eye of the beholder. As Dover knows, banning is the slippery slope. Sometimes it is necessary, if people thread bomb or go beyond legal.
Possibly another angle to Penny Wong stepping down, if the rumour is true –
there is time left on the clock for the current Government to find a truly impressive sinecure, and allow the “ Jobs for the boys” storm to blow over before the election.
Why yes. Yes they are.
Remember DocDuk’s experience with the Federal Police? Falsified statements, zero evidence, solitary confinement?
“Acid bath”, “shoot to the head”, “burning body with diesel”. That sort of depravity?
Where’s the severed head, kez?
“Game on”, well I’m game.
Stalking? “I have press clippings”.
This loser is calling a win when he couldn’t win a raffle with the only ticket sold.
If they get their carrier ideas expanded, and operating at carrier full strength capabilities and rampaging around the world I might have a rethink.
Very reassuring, Topender. I very much respect your input & opinion.
Good observation.
JMW, I say this sincerely from my own experience, the best thing is to just get over it now, and keep on enjoying the blog. Certainly say what is pissing you off, and request a better treatment, as you have, but then move on. People, even JC, get over things. And so can and will you. Everyone knows how you feel now, and probably some (or many) sympathise. Leave it at that. It won’t resolve any other way.
Alone, and it’s a like a skinny plucked chook begging Dover for assistance. Listen to the self-serving squealing by this loser.
Just the saddest dickhead around.

I rest my case.

Total fruitcake.
I may appear to be stumbling towards the obvious, calli, but my mind is trained to look for evidence and progress to a hypothesis incrementally.
As to police corruption, our experience in QLD was that there were honest police who resisted involvement in top down, systemic corruption. Indeed, without them the corruption would have been much more difficult to expose and they were in fact working towards that end well before ABC’s 4 Corners broke the story.
her
No – Its. The Wong Chap cannot ever identify as female.
A Foreign Minister that scratches its nuts in public is not a sheila.
The Soviet Union started down the path of developing a carrier fleet sometime in the 1960s, under Admiral Gorskhov. The first fruits of this program were the two helicopter carriers Moskva and Leningrad, that were roughly similar to the contemporary French helicopter carrier Jeanne d’Arc.
By the time the Soviet Union collapsed around 35 years later, they had reached something comparable in performance, but not numbers, to the three British carriers Invincible, Illustrious and Ark Royal, except that the Soviet aircraft were not comparable to the Sea Harrier.
It is a long and painful path, which will inevitably be marked by many aircraft losses and aircrew deaths, without necessarily producing anything comparable to the US fleet carriers.
BJ – I was thinking of several other examples also, like “Peace For Our Time!!!”, 7 December 1941, 24 February 2022 and 2 August 1990. The Labor Party in pre-WW2 Australia is another, with their weird strategic idea we only needed aeroplanes and submarines, although I suppose that was an ALP brain explosion not an ADF thing really.
The Swiss have a better strategic approach. Don’t bother about who the enemy might be, just turn yourself into a porcupine. There’s a lot going for that strategic outlook since so much of what has been going on in the last few years has been because of perceptions of weakness.
See Anthony Dillon.
Here’s the severed head, from 1983, a classic indeed.

You are done, Giuseppe. Everyone reading these posts remember all too well how you have continually abused contributors. Your modus operandi was to drive them off this blog. You failed because you lie, you distort and you misrepresent and you were caught out. Many have suggested you should grow up but I believe you are so sick in the head, that’s an impossibility.
I have to say I don’t know why governments bother with strategic Intelligence, since it seems from long historical experience always to be exactly wrong.
IIRC the CIA totally missed the collapse of the Soviet Union. OTOH if I ran an intel shop I’d want the rest of the world to think we were hopeless and harmless.
One thing JMH that you could clear up is whether you are male or female. I thought for ages I was dealing with a grumpy fellow, only to have you say you are a woman, and still JC addresses you as ‘he’. It helps I think to know the sex of the people here (they can have whatever genders they like) because codes of normal interaction differ by sex quite a bit. I’m conservative and traditional enough to think this matters on a blog.
ps I am definitely female, although during my early days on the Cat one woman said I wrote too much like a man to be female. I didn’t know whether that was a compliment or not, or even if it was true. 🙂
Bruce of N
I doubt that Chamberlain truly believed “Peace in our time”. He was more likely trying to gain some (tactical, not strategic) time before the inevitable.
As for Pearl Harbor, the codebreakers had broken the relevant codes, the delays in warning Pearl were, again, tactical not strategic. The USN had been preparing for war against Japan for some (strategic) time, but the tactical intelligence and communications systems failed.
I forever seeing you as a young Harlow after that gravatar of yours Lizzie.
Roger, NSW police were so broken years ago that my cousin had to get out. There will always be upright officers. My son’s best friend is one of them.
But this manufacturing of an obvious lie is beyond the pale. It’s a bandaid over their cowardice in dealing with the increasing hostility and intimidation by Muslim extremists, this time directed narrowly at Sydney’s Jews.
It’s a disgrace that they won’t easily recover from. Not after this piece of cruel and cowardly gaslighting.
Col Dillon.
Paul Dibb forecast the Soviet collapse in the early 1980s.
Bureaucratic inertia was partly the problem, but intelligence agencies were not the only ones to fail there. Politics, academia and the media were also at fault. They all (except Dibb) believed Soviet economic statistics, as did the Politburo, who were probably as surprised as anyone else by the reality.
I’m done? Sounds like it, yeah.
2 1/2 years of daily abuse against a single commenter. Day in day out and Kez is accusing me of the very worst things he’s done on this blog. The cowardly little loser had to join pile ons though.
Total fruitcake. In and out of mental institutions is a decent bet.
Lizzie:
Seems to be as much of an “expert” as that lip reading pommie “expert” in the Bruce Lehrmann defamation trial last year.
The fact is we all saw and heard what happened at the Opera House.
The reading I’ve done tends to the point of view that Chamberlain genuinely believed in “Peace in our time” – nobody in their right mind would ever subject Europe to the horrors of another war.
Pearl Harbor – the codebreakers had broken the Japanese diplomatic code, and were reading some 10% of the Japanese naval codes.
Both. Female identifies a male. Keeps severed heads as trophies.
Matrix Transform:
Speaking of failings …
the Palestinians are militant clowns perpetually incapable of rational and reasonable behavior whose idiotic Hamas Charter says it all.
if they’d ever had a clue about achieving their own state they’d have probably screwed that up too by now.

I checked – they’re all complaining about how hard done by they are.
Another example of strategic intelligence failure is this one:
‘We’ve got to get off our ar***’: Former army chief urges government to acquire lethal drones as Red Sea conflict ramps up (30 Jan)
If we have neither battlefield tactical drones nor effective drone defenses we’re screwed. We’ve already seen Albo decline a frigate for the Red Sea because our ships are completely incapable of operating effectively in the current battlefield.
I don’t see us gaining the necessary weapons systems in the necessary time either. There’s zero urgency in Canberra.
What irks me – and I’m not in NSW – is that it follows so closely upon the population control of covid.
But if politicians are involved it is much worse than corrupt police.
Also, what were the Liberal Party doing about it while in power?
She’s a girl, definitely doesn’t have nuts, and girls can get an itchy crutch too (in the crease of the thighs generally, if you really want to know – anywhere else and its off to the docs with you). Wong cultivates inscrutability with her unflappability and projects a male persona. The Wong Chap suits her well.
It must now be said that as ladies, we girls generally do not scrach away in public, although at home sometimes we do. Husbands know these things, although they may look askance.
Winston, helps also if you get (almost?) unlimited funds from the west to keep your grievance industry going.

Heard an apparent big change from the “we got to train for a possible war in Taiwan” to “we’ll be at war by 2027” rhetoric by CO’s & sub unit commanders. They apparently had a big turnover of key appointments at that time.
My mates take & older seniors, to try and keep the haemorrhageing CPL-SGT level interested, an old army carrot & stich approach. Overseas engagement trips are few and far between for something that was reasonably common for grunts in 1990’s before Timor/middle east. The boys are seeing blanket folders being put on some of these when they have slogging their guts out on the rocky hills of High Range with the vain hope the next one will be somewhere exotic like Thailand or US’s Hawaii or Louisiana. Thats till we do commit to a real conflict…
But this manufacturing of an obvious lie is beyond the pale.
Despicable and cowardly- in the face of an obvious provocation they try to pretend it didn’t happen. Pitiful.
Possibly a metaphor, JC. Best to be fair.
I know you to be a gentleman when in the mood. 🙂

Well, this poster/imposter has probably been at the Fat Pizza Bar again and had plenty of booze. And had another hard day. And had to get over something or other. Or moan about an expensive glass of white wine. And then keep whining.
Pathetic really.
Sorry. Got myself confused between Col Dillon (Good), Warren Mundine (Good) and Anthony Mundine (Curate’s egg).

Sorry Lizzie, its a deadsest bloke.
No male would ever want to attempt to plough that clunge.
You sound very hurt, Wodney. You appear to only join in when there’s a stoush. We feel your pain.
By the time of Munich and the “Piece of paper”, I doubt that Chamberlain had any real belief that peace was possible.

There’s not enough substition in the world.
On other matters…I’m deeply disturbed by Matrix’s seagull vs. sparrow story. Another tale…
Looking out my study window, I was enjoying the frolics of a superb blue wren, clearly touting for custom of the “jenny” kind. Parading, displaying, calling his sweet tune.
Swoop! A kookaburra snack. I haven’t quite recovered.
BJ – I agree with a lot of that, most particularly that Roosevelt oversaw a major peacetime build up that we totally aren’t doing right now. However the strategic failure was that the Japanese attacked at all, and that a vulnerable target was presented for them.
With all this the situation with China is the obvious present day strategic intelligence equation. I’m not seeing anyone doing anything much to make it plain to China that trying it on would be a faceplant for them. Instead there’s almost an encouragement for them to play games.
At least the Taiwanese have decided to be more of a porcupine.
Yes, Taiwan will fight (31 Jan)
Will that be enough? I don’t know.
You are lumping a lot of things under the heading “Intelligence”, many of which do not belong there. AFAIK, Leahy was never in the strategic intelligence business. He was in the capability development and command fields.
Army complaining they aren’t getting jolly holidays in interesting places.
I’m not feeling very sympathetic.
Family member got a jolly holiday in Iraq about five six years ago, as a private.
No blanket folding required.
The Swiss have a better strategic approach. Don’t bother about who the enemy might be, just turn yourself into a porcupine.
Mmm. The Singaporeans had that idea for a while. From memory it was called “the poisoned shrimp strategy.” In other words, if you eat us you will die.
It lasted a while until they worked out that your country being annihilated being costly to the enemy wasn’t that great an idea, especially if it meant the other bloke was so big he could absorb the punishment – eg; look north and south of Singapore for examples.
A better idea is to hit your enemy at a distance, especially while he’s preparing, or en route. So submarines, long range bombers, carrier strike forces etc.
Nuclear-tipped Tomahawks are even better.
Thanks.

There’s too much substitution in the world — by radicals pretending they’re not.
Get a bigger desk Vicki.
Bruce of N
Those were failures of political and military policy. Intelligence is not the same as command.
FDR didn’t want to provoke an early war with Japan (though he did his best to do so in the Atlantic, with the USN escorting some convoys to Iceland, and under orders to attack unidentified submarines, with German U-Boats the only likely candidates).
For those not familiar with Terry Pratchett, a superstition is a widely held belief that isn’t true. E.g. anthropogenic global warming. A substition is an uncommon belief that is actually true, e.g. the belief that AGW is a scam.
One Nation head lobs extensive attack on Faruqi lawsuit
AAP
Senator Faruqi has sued over a September 2022 tweet by Senator Hanson, who wrote she should “pack (her) bags and piss off back to Pakistan”.
Doesn’t matter BJ. He’s obviously correct. I’ve been fairly closely watching the technical advances in Ukraine/Russia. So has he, from what he says. And the events in the Red Sea support his thesis.
Perhaps it’s a self mea culpa on his part, since our lack of capability now is linked to his tenure in the first decade of this century. Prophesying the future is always hard of course. But he’s saying it now.
ZK2A, watched a codebreaker program last night, they hadn’t broken the naval codes. Battle of Coral Sea was lucky with the location MO being for Port Moresby. By the time Midway came along the naval code was 30% broken. AF was the code for Midway. The codebreakers boss was a no nothing dickhead and wouldn’t accept it. A few days before it happened they sent a message by undersea cable to get Midway to send a message that they were running short of water coz the desalination plant failed. 24 hrs later they found the message radioed to IJN command. I’m now the full bottle for a few days until I forget.
Weatherill did!
BJ – Policy is downstream from intelligence. Intelligence failures cause policy failures. Strategic and diplomatic intelligence is the headwaters of the river.
Of course if the politicians do not listen to the strategic intelligence warnings there’s not much that can be done about it. Except shoot them for treason afterwards. Which at least would make us all feel better as we forcibly learn Mandarin.
(The whole Singapore/Malaya campaign and the prewar preparations is another example. At least three major strategic intelligence failures, land, sea and air, contributed to the fall of Singapore. I won’t expand since we Cats know this stuff pretty well.)
And so I was, once, Chris. Being a female through various eras, as I have been, one has quite a choice of likely avatars whose style and fashion were yours too if you had a good base. For instance, I spent most of my late twenties and thirties with long jet black hair but bright blue peepers and willowly svelte. Liz Storer has nothing on me back then. Although let it be said that truth is often a victim of memory. I vaguely recall being a redhead for a short period. Auburn, I called it. I slowly came back to being blonde again as age beckoned, as artifically blonde as I was naturally blonde in the flush of youth in the mid-fifties and early sixties. You didn’t dye your hair back then unless you were ‘fast’, which I was not. 🙂
In the end I thought Baby Attapuss was my best Avatar choice.
And even he has grown up and changed. *
* cue elegaic music. Gilas, who is intensely musical might suggest something.
Someone could equally say to me, “pack your bags and piss off back to Adelaide or Newcastle”. Hardly racist I would have thought.
Beaugy, I assume you mean substitution. In which case you win today’s semantics award.
The basic problem with the modern world is that, even though we now have the world wide web’s universal access to information, the world has never been so ignorant and misinformed because activists are misrepresenting arguments as facts.
None of this would be happening if journalism was doing its job of being the public’s eyes and ears — because 99% of journalists aren’t interested in journalism’s foundational aims.
It’s much easier being lazy and using journalism to tell the public what to think.
Aldi have very good wines for the price. Australia has very poor wines for the price. Generally Australian wines are twice the price except for a few. For those who like Riesling, Red Robin is excellent, it was even better when it was half the price. Its still a good buy. Gilberts Riesling from WA is another good one but you have to order it from the vineyard.
I think it’s always been an issue with armies to keep warriors busy and motivated during times of relative peace. Hadrian solved the problem in Britain by building a great big wall to demark his Empire and also to control trade. The army units building it were in great competition with each other, which served to increase general morale. Occasional forays for a bit of barbarian head-hunting also helped. A grave stone (‘Riter’ type) found in Lancaster during one of our long stays there for Hairy’s work depicted a centurian on horseback with the usual headless barbarian underfoot. What caused a stir was the the centurian had three other human heads neatly parcelled as his catch hanging off the back of his saddle.
The opposite of a superstition must of course be a substition. Of course the latter word doesn’t exist so Terry invented it.
I can’t recall which of his many books it would’ve been in, I can’t recall it. Beagy will know. I’ve only read a few dozen of his, he was wonderfully prolific and fun.
Plus 50 million Tom, I was thinking that myself and mentioned it to my daughter only last night.
I thought substitution at first, Tom, but then looked at context.
Super-stition and sub-stition – two words along a chain of meaning, opposites to each other. I think that is what BG meant, with reference to its use elsewhere.
Oops, I should edit. Committed both a blockquote crime and a repetition crime in the same comment. Sheesh.
snap, Bruce.

If you object, say why.
I am currently enjoying Mary Beard’s new book on emperorship. She excels in finding and aggregating tiny snippets of unknown information that can run counter to some long-received interpretations. Refreshing.
Definitely not, Tom. I agree with you 100%.
The failure of contemporary journalism is a disgrace to what used to be a fine collection of sceptical, sometimes cynical, men with real life experience and a sense of humour. What we have these days is a pathetic shower of brainwashed prats. There are a few genuine journalists with some integrity still around but they are on the fringes.
And who is that downticking my Roman history?

Three immediate hatreds for the Lizzie or yore, and doubtless heaps more to come.
Do your worst. I’ve had a good life and a lot of fun in it.
Or I could walk there. I remember a certain little boy of seven or so, sitting on the school verandah at recess. One big boy, Jim Gilbert, came and brought him onto the oval to have a bat.
Jim went on to found that vineyard. Sadly, now lost to us.
Baby Attapuss. He’s very handsome Lizzie!
(I did a bit of gravatar fu to get the photo to reasonable size. My gravatar birdie is no longer around although I’ve three pied butcherbirds from another family that I hand feed, most days. They’re a lot of fun!)
Know exactly what you mean.
Many years ago we owned 30 acres in the Adelaide Hills (in fact, not far from where we now live). I was taking Great Aunt Rose out for an airing and drove around the property until we saw a family of wood ducks. Mum and Dad Ducky tried to distract us with the ‘poor injured birdie’ routine, limping and dragging a wing, leaving their babies unattended.
Immediately, a crow swooped down and grabbed one of the clutch, then a seagull snatched another. “Save them!” cried Aunty.
I had to wrestle mentally with the idea of duck parents losing their offspring to humans, but the marauding predators had no such qualms. Consequently, we ended up with three of the most delightful (legally registered) pet duckies, who stayed with us for several years until we released them on a friend’s house dam.
I think I’ve told this story before, (only once,) but calli’s post just begged my reply.
Another really good Reisling winery is Duke’s, which got five stars from me, and from some joker called James Halliday.
Just put in my first ever patent application…
I didnt know until today they accepted them in crayon as well..
Shopping an idea around and wanted to get at least a little protection.
I mentioned here a while back our horror at seeing a Greyleg Cuckoo gobbling away at a nest of Currawong bubs similar to those we had nurtured into fledglings along with their mum. More recently, I was walking locally and saw a Currawong flying by with another small bird in its beak. And even our Lorrikeets are meat-eaters on the feeder tray. Red in beak and claw, a world of pain out there in the skies.
Recall what a shock it was too when Jane Goodall reported from her jungle watch long ago that Chimps too were meat-eaters. Many species are, we now find out.
If my local member is to be believed – I have no reason to doubt her word – Albo was too busy to meet with local farmers, over the live sheep trade, but squeezed in a bit of wine tasting in Margaret River…..
Mutt of the weekend…
Could be a clone of the late great Danno, from same location as my current sweetheart Sal.
Very tempted to make an application myself, seeing as Sal is a bit too wonky to catch a fox outright (not that I don’t love her completely). The eye dog-herding dog combo is absolutely the duck’s nuts of evolution on earth… and after the demise of Danno I swore to get cracking on establishing a stud line of dogs, bright, quick and golden white…. Kyia here might be fixed as a matter of rescue greoup policy.
Shooting a fox on the run is even more fun than shooting a kookaburra on the wing.
I’ve been very depressed today. The lie that the NSWaffen put out this morning, a lie that is both Orwellian and pure gaslighting, has profoundly impacted me. I went to Pilates after work which has made me feel somewhat better, I’m home now, and I have lit my Shabbat candles, which comforts me.
This afternoon I thought long and hard about what I witnessed on Monday evening 9 October 2023. So, I’m going to engage in a little forensic work as I personally witnessed the opening scenes of what became a sordid night. I’ve spent the last hour thinking long and hard about what I saw and what ensued that night.
At about 5.05 p.m. that afternoon, Monday 9 October 2023 (might have been a little earlier), I left work to walk from my office to Sydney’s Town Hall. Why? Because I often walk to the Woolworths at Town Hall to buy groceries. When I do this, after buying groceries, I walk to Elizabeth Street and get the bus home. That day, Monday 9 October 2023, I did what I always do, I walked up Pitt Street to Pitt Street Mall, then I walked under Myer and the QVB to arrive at Woolworths which is smack bang next to Town Hall station. You walk underground from the QVB into Woolworths. I then bought some groceries. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk from my offices to Town Hall. I had heard, an hour or so earlier before leaving the office, that Premier Minns had given the go ahead for the Opera House to be lit up in the Israeli flag, and that Sydney’s Jews were being invited to go down to the Opera House to view it.
But truth be told, I was in shock about the news coming in from Israel. The corpses were still warm.
Anyway, that afternoon after arriving at Woollies I purchased groceries and then used the escalators to go upstairs to the exit, usually I leave the Park Street exit. This was when I was confronted with a scene outside, a sea of Pallie flags along with numerous policemen. Stupid me, I should have walked away and left through the Park Street exit but I was bewildered, intrigued and disturbed by what I was seeing through the windows of Woolworths so I walked out the George Street exit and the scene got worse immediately, I was stunned, I witnessed a flotilla of Pallie flags and dozens of police, and I saw a Pallie mother and father walking with their children dressed in Pallie suicide garb. The screaming and shouting was already loud, there were loudspeakers spewing hatred against Israel. I then walked across the light rail tracks because I could see about 15 police facing the protesters, and so I then turned around to speak to a copper, I asked him if this was a Pallie protest (I knew it was), he nodded whilst trying to avoid eye contact with me, I then told him I was Jewish and did he know that the massacre of Jews on 7 October was the worst single atrocity against Jews since the Holocaust? He nodded and he muttered, his eyes catching my eyes, “yes, I know, it was terrible”. I then started trembling and thought, my God, I have to get out of here. I can honestly say that I have never never felt such visceral hatred and evil, I felt then and there what my ancestors must have felt when they experienced pogroms. I must have just missed those two other Jews, Mark Spiro and the Reverend Mark Leach. Probably just as well, and it was lucky that I wasn’t wearing my Chai or Magen David because no doubt the Waffen police would have dragged me away, pity though because that would have been a spectacle which would have left the NSWWaffen police reeling in a state of shock.
Shaking and crying I walked to Elizabeth Street, the whole time in a daze. When I get anxious or nervous my hormones give way, my body heats up and I start perspiring like a waterfall. It’s terrible, a result of menopause. No man can understand what it’s like. But worse was yet to come. I got on the bus to return home, I was dazed, teary and scared, I called and texted various people from my mobile. Once home, I do what I always do, the first thing I do when I get home is I take my bra off (women here will understand), I take off my makeup, and I then prepare dinner. Whilst dinner was on the stove I sat down, and I turned on my computer to read the Australian website, to read that…
NSW POLICE URGE SYDNEY’S JEWS TO STAY AWAY FROM THE SYDNEY CBD
I remember very clearly what I did next……..I SCREAMED. The NSW Police were calling for Sydney’s CBD to be JUDENFREI.
I was distraught, I rang my mother, my sister, my best friend. We had all heard the news. And everyone was sickened and nervous. We are still sickened and nervous. My best friend’s mother, an Auschwitz survivor, spent that evening sobbing.
But here’s the thing, the NSW Police are to blame for what happened that evening. They gave free rein to Jew haters, they handed the CBD streets over to Jew haters, and actually, every weekend since then they’ve handed our city over the Jew haters.
Given what I saw that afternoon when at Town Hall, the NSW Police already knew there was a problem with the frothing frenzied mob of Jew haters at Town Hall, that this mob of Jew haters posed an immediate threat and danger to Jews, that this mob of Jew haters wanted to hunt down Jews. But instead of keeping the baying mob contained at Town Hall, they chose the dhimmi route, they personally escorted this mob of baying Jew haters down to the Opera House, where there might be Jews wanting to see the Opera House lighted up in the Israeli flag.
So, why did that mob of frothing frenzied Jew haters want to go down to the Opera House? Because they knew there’d be Jews there. They wanted to hunt Jews, they wanted to attack Jews, and the NSWaffen Police complied. The NSW Police should have kept them at Town Hall and called in the riot police. Instead they told peaceful Jews to stay away BECAUSE THEY KNEW THAT JEWS WOULD BE ATTACKED.
The NSW Police are responsible for what ensued on Monday night 9 October 2023. It is why I now call them the NSWaffen and I don’t use that term lightly. They collaborated with Jew haters, and one thing is certain, if those Jews haters at the Opera House had stumbled upon some Jews, those Jews would have been physically attacked.
We now have a legacy of a police force that refused to give Jews safe passage to view the Opera House lighting, and instead that night and since preferred to give succour to rabid, frenzied, frothing Jew haters. I will never ever forgive them for this, I have zero trust in the NSW Police.
This afternoon I’ve listened several times to the video that P linked to above, it is on the Speccie website. Every time I’ve listened to it, I have to swallow hard….this is not the country I grew up in. When you watch and listen carefully, it is actually a lot more insidious, sinister and menacing than most people think. You can clearly hear “gas the Jews” at the beginning, then the word ‘takbir” is said which seems to embolden the frothing Jew haters, then they start chanting “f*ck the Jews” and then I hear them chanting “where’s the Jews”. Why? Because they wanted to hunt Jews that night, and the NSWaffen Police enabled this. The NSWaffen Police stood by that night, and still stand by frenzied Jew hating Muslims and leftists who want to kill Jews.
Last Friday, if this Jew had found herself in the middle of the group of black clad Neo Nazis on the train at North Sydney, this Jew probably would have come out of it unharmed. But who hear thinks that if this Jew had found herself in the middle of that mob of frenzied, frothing Jew haters on the steps of the Opera House on Monday night 9 October 2023, whether I would have emerged unharmed? I think you all know the answer to that.
By the way, I don’t like Nazis of any stripe or persuasion but I know who poses the most danger to me and it isn’t those black clad ‘Nazis’ swooped upon on a train at North Sydney.
Apologies about the long rant, but I’m quite distressed.
She’s beautiful, Wally.
Not a rant at all.
Worth saving for some time in the future when this episode may come under official scrutiny.
But who ‘here’….apologies.
Love the rants. Keep the rants going.
Senator Hanson is correct.
If his handlers are competent there’ll be no salmon on the menu, nor rack of lamb. Wouldn’t want embarrassing menu photos, now would we?
Federal government’s decision over Tasmania’s salmon farming industry in Macquarie Harbour hangs in the balance as public submissions end (Sky News, 2 Feb)
The Left seems to want us proles to starve. They had plod shooting at farmers with rubber bullets in Europe last night.
Went to a council meeting in Margaret River, some pen pusher came up with the brain fart of excluding grazing from wetlands because acid sulphate soils. Or methane. Or invertebrates. Or something. At any rate, he got his shins kicked, thanks to SW grazing group scrambling at the last minute. At the moment we’re not only in thrall to the neo-feudal Federal Ag Minister, but the state gov ag department, state water groups, and the local “natural resource management” qango masquerading as a community group.
So, there’s any amount of voters with current or historical, familial links to farming and grazing, but the Permit Raj is Leviathan.
The farmers’ protests are spreading from country to country in W. Europe and polling indicates they have significant public support.
EU elections due in June.
Cassie, it’s not possible for a non-Jew to understand fully the kind of stress you are feeling, but remember that everyone here, except for the odd weirdo, supports you and would stand by you if you were attacked. If I saw any Jew, or anyone else, under threat from a baying mob, I’d stand with them.
I hate mobs. Giving up your individualism to belong to a gang is always contemptible.

You can clearly hear Pallies repeatedly yelling “gas the Jews!” and “f..k the Jews!”
NSW plod is an absolute disgrace.
It couldn’t be clearer, Lee.
I was listening to the news in the car today and heard that the police had even engaged a language expert who claimed that chant wasn’t uttered. Worth finding out who it was and jamming it in his freaking face.
Chin up, Cassie.
As you know, I’m an optimist and what the past six months have established beyond doubt for me is that NSW police no longer stand by their original charter of protecting the citizens of New South Wales. Like Vicplod, NSW plod have demonstrated they can be bought and subdued by the ruling political party, for whom they are now effectively the armed militia.
The only reason this isn’t causing popular outrage in NSW is that the LNP opposition also supports it.
In NSW and most states, the LNP is as useless as tits on a bull and, except for the federals Libs, are unelectable for the foreseeable future.
Worth recalling that Hanson’s tweet was in response to Faruqi saying she couldn’t mourn the death of the Queen because she represented imperialism yada yada yada.
Not to mourn was Faruqi’s prerogative, but any Muslim complaining about imperialism either lacks a knowledge of history or is lying.
Be that as it may, Faruqi had to make it an occasion to grandstand in public, thus causing offense. Hansons’ retort was fair in the context. I expect she’ll lose her case.
Yes.
Snap, Lee. The Labor Party wouldn’t be slobbering after the vote in certain Western Sydney electorates?
Faruqi, that is.
Am having a glass of whisky. Delicious and calming.
Interesting idea re “substition”. I like the idea of the truth flying beneath the radar.
I’ve never read any Pratchett, but I have seen dramatised versions.

Did people notice that the NSW Police Goebells who instructed you that your hearing was defective was wearing more medals than Audie Murphy.
How many preschool perversion promotion campaigns did this hero survive.
Good for you Cassie.
Try a cig. Much better for you. Liver etc.
Your very good health, Cassie.
Had a tweet restricted, then reinstated 5 minutes after I appealed
Looking forward to gathering the Grampians nazis this weekend and walking through redfern chanting “wheres the abbos” while police lead any aggrieved chaps away from us for their own protection. Followed by “f**k the Abbos” and “god save the king”
Also the twitiots there have segued seamlessly from “police say the videos dont prove” to “DA JEWS DOCTORED THE VIDEOS!!11!!” in about 5 seconds.

You seem to be forgetting the major strategic intelligence failure of December 1941. That was the belief, which I suspect came from Washington, not Pearl Harbor, that the principal Japanese strike would be towards the oilfields in the NEI and, later, Burma. They expected Malatya, Singapore and the NEI to be the initial prime targets, with the Philippines possibly/probably also on the list.
Yet, if MacArthur was warned, he chose to ignore the warning (as he also ignored the actual attack on Pearl Harbor, leaving his aircraft lined up neatly by the runway hours later).

Cass, chin up.
Everyone here knows the truth of the matter. And do express your disappointment and anger and fears. Unlike NSWaffenPlod, that’s real.
They wouldn’t know reality if they tripped over it and it bit them on the bum.

Depending on who you listen to, we have been ‘SleePwalking to WW#3!’ for 50 years or more. There are certain types of people who really enjoy being harbingers of doom, despite being wrong again and again.
If one is in (let’s say) the Army, and is told by someone ‘we will be at war in a year or two years’, and neither of those people are Brigadier-General or above, then that is an opinion. No less, but certainly no more.

Cassie, Its not only the stress and anxiety you are feeling it is the frustration of not being listened to even with the video from Michael Smith . This seems to be rife through all police forces in a number of diverse issues If it does not follow the narrative of their agenda nothing done , like children committing horrific crimes and ,let off to do it again. To name one other issue.Sickening.
ahah … I see.

The good thing with NSW plod is that because they are pack of useless pricks, a few people with their eyes on the top job will most likely leak the details of the “expert” to someone like Sharri.
Give it a week & see if NSW plod stands by the expert.
Experts get paid.
Taxpayer money means paper trail.
Means FOI requests.
Worst case Latham can pop into committee the next time NSW plod shows up & can ask the question (or any LC/LA member for the that matter).

Thanks everyone here for your support, I cannot convey how stunned I was this morning when I heard the NSWaffen Police LIE. I’m now on my second glass of whisky and about to have another one. I’m feeling good now!
I’ve always liked whisky, my brother-in-law is a connoisseur of whisky and so, when I stay at my sister’s, every night after dinner, he pours a whisky for us. Bloody delicious.
But I also like Amaretto and Sambuca, might buy a bottle or two tomorrow.

I love the moral and intellectual clarity of Douglas Murray, and I can’t wait to see him in March when he’s here. Murray doesn’t mince words and he’s ruthless when dealing with idiots. Tonight on Rita Panahi, when commenting on the Chicago council that has passed a “motion” calling for a ceasefire between Israel and the Nazis, as Murray said it would be much more useful for this Chicago council to call for a ceasefire in Chicago because Chicago has one of the highest gun rates in America or in any developed country for that matter, with mass and individual shootings being the norm normal on any given weekend in Chicago so he would urge this Chicago council to look in their own background before they decide to lecture other, particularly Israel.
As always, taken out of context and without further details, this could be interpreted in multiple ways. (Who here would NOT be placing their limbs in defensive/placatory postures at the moment they feared death?).
Go and bang your head on the floor, until you are forgiven. It may take several days!
Interesting to see how many lefties are retweeting the London acid attack news.
Similar to the outrage some lefties have over the illegal immigrants getting let out in NY after assaulting those two cops.
At least two young junior officers in our armed forces – from families known to us – have been told that we will be at war within three years.
Who with? The chunks already own us. If they stop Trump no ones coming to rescue us.
Is there anyone in the British government who is brave enough to acknowledge the social emergency that has now developed in the UK as a result of intimidation and antisemitism from within the Muslim community?
It has reached the stage where a government minister has been forced out of parliament by Muslim intimidation.
Mike Freer, a minister at the Department of Justice, no less, has said he will step down from parliament because he and his loved ones can no longer endure the threats to his life over his support for Israel.
Over a decade during which he has served as the Conservative MP for Finchley and Golders Green — one of the most heavily Jewish constituencies in the country — Freer, who is gay and not Jewish, says he has received “several serious threats” to his safety.
He now wears a knife-proof vest when attending constituency events and says he feels lucky to be alive. In 2021, a government reshuffle meant he had to cancel his planned constituency surgery in order to remain in Westminster. While he was there an Islamist terrorist, Ali Harbi Ali, was lurking with a knife outside his constituency office waiting fruitlessly to attack him. One month later, Ali murdered fellow Tory MP Sir David Amess in a frenzied knife attack over Amess’s support for air strikes against ISIS and his membership of Conservative Friends of Israel.
Ten years previously, Freer was targeted by the group Muslims against Crusades (which was later banned). It posted online a picture of Freer with the message “Let Stephen Timms be a warning to you”. In 2010 Timms, a Labour MP, had been stabbed in his constituency surgery by an al Qaeda supporter.
It is only a matter of time before Jews or a Jewish organisation in this country is subjected to a deadly attack.
have been told that we will be at war within three years.
All the more reason to get out of the armed forces.
Say you think a woman has to have a vagina & they’ll show you the door immediately.
Why on earth would you want to be in a position where a chickenhawk politician with an eye on their retirement income (like ScoMo) can send you off to some far flung land all so US military contractor can buy a beach or lake house.
It’s pretty breathtaking that one. They have to know they’re lying baldly so why are they doing it? On the one hand you have a few hundred thousand excitable Western Sydney mueslis, on the other hand you have millions of NSW people who just got another strong reason to disbelieve anything the authorities say. All those people are now going to distrust the police and avoid having anything to do with them. That’s my personal instinctive reaction, I’ll be Sgt Shultz. I will not see anything, I will know nothing and I certainly won’t be saying anything to the fascist NSW Police Service.

Yep, I try not to look at that ‘site’ anymore. It’s degenerated into something out of horror movie and yes, whilst there are only two or three suspects who frequent the site now, it doesn’t take much to make it utterly vomitous.
