Socialist Left taking over Victorian Labor

That’s what the headline should be. This is what we find instead: Dan warned over party bloodshed which completely misleads any potential reader about what is going on. Here’s the sentence that matters.

The administrative body – controlled by Daniel Andrews’ Socialist Left faction … is looking to oust several “internal enemies”.

“Oust several internal enemies” means getting rid of soft left Members of Parliament to replace them with members from the the hard left. Further down the page we find this:

One Labor MP said people in the Right targeted for destruction would be forced to leave the party because they “are being accorded no right to exist”.

Party bloodshed is just what Andrews wants. Socialism is the natural home of the stupid. Utter fools. Other than, of course, the leaders of these factions, who are predatory wolves who know how to politicise their way to the top.

And now this to add to the above.

There’s not necessarily a dichotomy between the stupid and those who know how to p liticise their way to the top.
Maximum Leader is deeply stupid, but his brown-nosing, backstabbing, credit-stealing, blame-shifting and psychopathy skills are all absolutely first rate.

I believe his will be the POS scumbags undoing . . . his hubris is staggering.

Eventually someone, most likely a “Labor” person, is going to unload on him with dirt that his teflon won’t stop it sticking.

One can live in hope.
There must must be plenty in Labor who have all the “dirt” on him; dirt that I have no doubt would have brought down any other politician in Australia.
It then just a matter of whether the MSM will reveal it or run cover for Andrews as they have up to now.

Interesting potential repercussions for federal Labor with an election approaching, depending on how bloody things get in Danistan. Will Albanese, from NSW Labor left, be upset about knifing of Labor right so close to election and bitterness and turmoil that might follow? Will Shorten, from Vic Labor right, be upset about reduction of power of his faction in his state or calculate that harm to his rival’s prospects of taking up residence in The Lodge is worth the price? Maybe it makes no difference and Labor will win the federal election comfortably, irrespective.

Shorten might react strongly to undermine Albo and protect, as best he can, his power base. Not sure there’s much love between Shorten and Andrews, in any case.

I would have thought Dictator Dan had enough enemies without creating new ones within his own party.
But his ego knows no bounds.

Elected members no matter what their party or factional affiliation don’t get dismissed.

Those not lefty enough for Kommissar Dick Ears should indeed tell Vic Labor to stick it.

Well, if they know what’s best for their chances of re-election they should.

to be honest they will be screwed either way

and it won’t be Dan that screws them

Daniel Andrews literally has The World’s Globalist Power Brokers behind him.

He knows he will continue to have their backing while he continues to carry out their orders.

This is a World War and Victoria is A Key Battlefield.

There’s a reason so many Nazi POW’s got sent to Geelong and accepted the offer to stay after the war.

Also, how many know that Adolph Hitler actually had his eye on Victoria’s High Country as Ultimate Base.

But of course some cats are just going to rantingly demand “proofs” and so prevent other cats from taking this in to help focus on The Really Big Picture.

Can we make it a rule that posters should reproduce a newspaper/media article on which they are basing their post?

There is a huge difference between the straight news reporting of the Herald Sun (which this article links to – straight into the paywall) – and the “reporting” of The Age, none of which is published without a political objective.

I normally buy the Herald Sun, but didn’t this morning. I’d bet The Age did not even cover the latest factional war within the state ALP because it would look bad for Andrews’ Socialist Left faction.

this is just the next rounds of Dan’s factions versus Shorten’s factions

that is, CFMEU vs. AWU .. just like back when Eastlink was signed then cancelled

let’s face it, the reason Eastlink got cancelled is because the CFMEU got locked out by Shorten’s AWU and the price the CFMEU expected for installing Dan was cancelling the Eastlink project and got it

this was done regardless of cost because, as well all know, there’s plenty more taxpayer money

we are collateral damage, expendables in the great march forward

the CFMEU, ably supported by the police, teacher’s unions and all the allied unions who do not give a toss about you or me, there is only “the struggle”

coming up to federal and state elections next year, a perfect time to bury some enemies

Exactly, Billie. Note also that the ‘independent’ anti-corruption bureau is investigating only malfeasance by the evil Right: the Socialist Left are, as we all know, pure as driven snow.

The exercise of genuine independence by the Ombudsman must have come as a shock. One way or another, she will pay for it.

Tom, the factional war war was well covered in yesterday’s Age. Indeed better than the H/S and without pulling punches. I haven’t bought an Age for years but was tipped off about the story and the 2km walk to the shop was worth it. How the writer got his head around all the Turkish names was amazing! Adam Somurek’s testimony at the IBAC hearing is having its backwash. But as Somurek posted in a tweet it is a bit weird that funding of the hearing didn’t extend to examining the Socialist Left faction? I am looking forward to reading the book he is writing and website promising to expose Labor corruption for the benefit of the Victorian public. Has he gone through a Road to Damascus moment or is he enjoying retribution? Hopefully the former but on the other hand a bit of drawn out retribution might not be a bad thing, given Andrew’s vile thuggery.

“this was done regardless of cost because, as well all know, there’s plenty more taxpayer money”

This is only natural and has no regard to party, or even politics.

As Freidman eloquently described it – the four ways to spend money:

1) spend your money on yourself – both price and quality matter
2) spend your money on someone else – price matters more than quality
3) spend someone else’s money on yourself – quality matters more than price
4) spend someone else’s money on someone else – neither price nor quality matter

GovCo always spends spends someone else’s money on someone else, so neither price nor quality matter, regardless of which party has power.
