I think you’d have to drill down a bit further on those figures, Ellen.
The unvaxxed over 50 tend to be the ones with few comorbidities. How comorbid are these hospital admissions of unvaxxed?
The vaxxed ones are often at death’s door anyway.
The percentage differences are not very great, but may contain confounders.
I’ve seen other figures which suggest the comorbid pass away far more readily and the age figure of over 50 needs to be severely disaggregated. The proportion of vaxxed who are ill who don’t get to hospital is also relevant vs the proportion of unvaxxed who are ill at home also. I agree it’s all a bit of a dog’s brekkie right now. I’d need to see more figures drilled down to have any certainty about vaxx effects.
