I envisage a lot of muddled thinking on this issue. It will be around “serving” the wider church community by keeping them healthy, as if there has never been a risk posed by genuinely sick people before. Also about keeping churches open, even if they are only so by government decree, forced to close at any real or imagined infraction.
“Healthism” is a keeper. Just another version of materialism.
It will be instructive to see what the response will be here. Perfidious Dan, Gladys the Weak, etc. will have ready to go if any decide to oppose medical apartheid. She believes the hospital system there is stretched to breaking point right now in emergency and in bed availability and expressed fears of Covid getting a good hold in Tassie.
