Lysander, re who gets exemptions. A few weeks ago, when that arseh*le Andrews moved to bring in the mandates in Viccy, the courts (the judges and court staff) pointed out that the separation of powers restricted the govt from mandating that sector. So Andrews folded on it.

Authorised workers in Victoria have been given a reprieve after the Andrews government backflipped on plans to enforce a COVID vaccination mandate.
All Commonwealth employees as well as people who work in connection with court proceedings will be exempt with a government spokesperson saying the relaxation is an attempt to avoid “jurisdictional limitations”.
The change will apply to judges, lawyers, security guards and police officers

Well Cats, it’s been the week from Box City Mk 2 down here in sunny Jerra, over the border from the Greenie Nirvana of Canberra.
Took a break from unpacking, hanging pictures, installing Mrs TE’s in the cupboard twin-bins, two trips to Bunnings etc etc, to meet up with RugbySkier for a local coffee – many thanks mate. Together we plan to storm Parliament House next month and install our own version of government.

Merry Christmas All!
Little Bloke just crashed, Christmas started yesterday for him, he spent most of the day with two of his mates in one of his mates new house (I got to spend the afternoon carefully making holes in walls for paintings and mirrors). Today we drove up to the farm visiting friends on the way. One of his mates also came to visit so they spent the afternoon playing with the dogs and catching tadpoles. Evening rounded out with a BBQ and appreciation of Nana and Grandpa’s extensive Christmas Lights. He was on the couch watching Carols with Nana before mum called it, time to go to bed before you fall off!
They’re all having Maximum Christmas despite Australian Politicians best efforts to stuff up everything!
