Our media is as pro-lockdown, pro-mandate as Justin Trudeau

So Southern Ontario with its flat featureless terrain. But all these years later, it is still as familiar as home. Meanwhile, there has still been no mention of any of this in the local press, so far as I can see. Our own media is as pro-lockdown, pro-mandate as Justin Trudeau.

And then there is this, which is the advice and support offered by Jordan Peterson. He may be the only person in Canada around my own age that I am aware of who completely supports the truckers, their aims and their tactical skills.

Both have been picked up from our sister site in Canada: Small Dead Animals. Along with Rebel News it’s where the news can be found. Our papers sold out ages ago, as has most of the Canadian press as well.

  1. Canada…. much like the rest of the West on the slippery slope of Socialistic oblivion.

It will be interesting to observe…. should they be able to muster the wherewithal to follow it all thru.
Or like Australia, will they remain just further yapping puppies around the heels of the State.

There is an old Russian saying….. ‘The dogs bark, then the caravan moves on’

    David Warren about himself:

….Later, he wrote a reactionary, thrice-weekly column in certain Canadian newspapers; until 2012, when his employer offered him a nice whack of money to “just go away.”

It was The Globe and Mail, iirc. Warren on the convoy:

My heart was lifted by the sight of the ladies, from a Polish deli and bakery in my neighbourhood, delivering a van-load of sausages and much else to the truckers on the front line in Ottawa. It was one of many “meaningful gestures,” that could be traced on the informal Internet, even though news that strays “off-narrative” is ignored by the state-owned CBC. For the moment, before the government (which has huge malice, but very little competence) has the time to re-organize itself, much can be done; and as I suggested the “freedom” trucks, and the beautiful farm tractors, are now appearing at border stations and at Queen’s Park — on the streets of provincial capitals, such as Toronto.

But maybe, like the Polish communist government on which they model themselves (down to the ripely absurd answers to simple factual questions in Parliament), they won’t be able to “get their act together.” Justin Trudeau will go the way of the late General Wojciech Jaruzelski, into the shadows of opprobrium. Things like the police “crackdown” that Ottawa currently threatens, or the open theft of “Go-Fund-Me” donations for the truckers, or the range of very evil lies and smears spread by Liberal Party functionaries, will cease to be aggravating and become a silly joke, should they ever be remembered.

Non-violent civil resistance is the road behind and the road ahead. Like Solidarno?? and the various slave uprisings of history, good strategy will win through……

I’m not as optimistic bit I sure hope he’s right.

  3. thanks MS. Always, with the left, the manipulation of the narrative is paramount. But the great thing about the internet- and though big tech try to bury the real story – it’s getting out. Great footage of true patriots and freedom lovers.

  4. I said that somewhere before: yes, it looks like Canadian Solidarity moment. It may become one, many hope.
Keep in mind that gen. Jaruzelski was elected the President of Poland as a result of “free” elections- they actually were the result of the deal between commies and their (only those selected by them) opposition. This seems to be the core of the problem Poland has experienced over the last 30 years.

The press, practically all of the press, including medical periodicals, are financed by Big harma.
What owners should say to the overpaid journalistic “stars”? From today we do honest jouralism, your pay goes down by 80% as we do not get those precious ads. Your mortgage may suffer, but look at the bright side: we are honest from now on.

This may be good for a movie script (hang on, there was one like this: show me the money!!! was the phrase and the ethical agent lived long and had a successful career).

Anyone on any kind of advisory board / decision entity that has to do with vaccines/medicines SHOULD / MUST disclose conflicts of interest. No tenures at pharma for years after leaving decision jobs. Too easy for temptation to win.
