Look at this.

Well into night shift, and not a single anti-Rexxer has stirred. Let alone upticked.

I’m disappointed, Cats.

If you keep this up, you won’t be sufficiently worthy to credulously report everything the non-mainstream media says without first applying the same level of scrutiny.

Come on giys, it’s just one wordwall and ninety upticks. You can all do it. I believe in you! 😀

Don’t forget leg day John.

It was leg day! Did well thanks FTB. Still sweating. There is something satisfying about a good workout, especially when I find myself training harder than people 1/3 or even 1/4 my age. The other gym I went to was much more intense, people there really knew how to pound out the reps but this new gym seems to be populated by many teenagers who can’t be bothered working up a sweat.

This one’ for Cats with an interest in history.

The reading is Max Hastings’s book “Das Reich.” On June 8th, 1944, SS Panzer Division “Das Reich” rolled out of their bases in the South of France, to begin a march to Normandy that finished two weeks later. Along the way, they committed many atrocities against “Resistance fighters” and any French civilians who were in the wrong place at the wrong time…In one village, Tulles, French civilians were hanged from the lampposts, for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Each year, on the anniversary of that atrocity, the villagers hang garlands on those lamp posts.

A great army of German tourists, passing through through those districts, each year, exhibit no hint of consciousnesses..

(“Das Reich”, Max Hastings. Page 230.)

Canadian truckers are doing a decent job. It’s well intentioned, but misguided. The protest needs to now move on to the real target.

For example, just point blank refuse to pay your rates or other Government imposed taxes. Cut off the supply lines to public servants. The list of shit people can do to make life really uncomfortable for Governments is endless.

You only need to think about what those with their “noses in the trough” love about being in control and enjoy. Your “private jet”? Nah. Blockaded. Want to have your chauffeur drive you home? Nah. Your house is blockaded. What’s your favourite restaurant? Nah. You won’t be going there. Blockaded.

I like the trucker protest, but it’s hurting the average people on some level.

You need to walk up to a bully and kick the bastard fair in the nuts. In this case, the “bully” is the Government.

For serving food to truckers! I have seen political leaders fall in the past but when Trudeau gets what he deserves I will be very happy to see it. He really is a piece of work.

If I was a Canadian I would be making my displeasure known to any cop I know. Hopefully they are.

A bloke I know well, cattleman in Alberta, is viscerally & bitterly opposed to the protests, the convoy and everything to do with it.
He cheers the news of frozen bank accounts, is thrilled at the brutality of the arrests, etc.

He’s been hurt by the border blockade – couldn’t sell his fats into Montana, and understandably is not happy at that (he needed the sale, coz they’ve had possibly the worst drought on record there last year).

That may have amplified his feelings, however he was that way inclined anyway.
He’s got little grasp of the problems of the truckies & other workers who’ve been hit with impoverishing govt sanctions (in the name of Covid).

He’s a year-round farmer – which surprisingly to some on the land in Oz- is somewhat unusual in western Canada.
For many such blokes, Covid has barely happened. The last 2 years have hardly blipped their radar. They’ve had few if any restrictions on their life/work – except every blue moon when they go to town. Their income has not been threatened or even reduced.

If they’ve never been off-farm financially in their life (i.e. inherited the ranch) they’ve no idea what it is like for the working stiffs of western Canada.

I’ve seen quite a few videos of similar traffic stops. Some far more harsh than that. Eg. cops using cars/pickup trucks to box in the vehicle, just like they would a taxi that has pressed the “trouble” button.

Based on the subsequent filmed conversation, all seemingly based on the vehicle flying a Canadian flag (some far smaller than the flags in the linked traffic stop).

The reaction by Canadians should be for every vehicle to start sporting at least one Canadian flag from the radio aerial.

A very good article, by Susie O Brian, up at Herald Sun about VIC and vaccine no 3 etc.

However I am confused. About a week ago I saw her as a guest on Ch 7 panel. She was praising the fact unvaxxed parents would not be able to visit sick kids in WA hospitals. It was so bad that it was picked up by one of the US podcasters, where I saw it, but can’t recall which one.

Strange thing about music Rex. I’d listen to The Seekers and think they are an enjoyable band but I would not recognise the skill in the crafting and execution of a song. Then I’d watch other musicians who would sing their praises. Not just The Seekers, on a number of occasions I have been surprised how careful critiques of various songs reveal a depth of talent I am unaware of of. Rick Beato on Youtube is an example of an accomplished musician who can provide insight into how well some songs are crafted.

A friend of mine reminds me that I told me many moons ago to listen carefully to the lyrics. He still hasn’t forgiven me because it changes the appreciation of music. When Bowie died and people raved about him I was surprised because many of his lyrics are complete trash.

There are some very good lyricists but I think it is more about music before the 90’s than now. The stuff I hear at the gym, with bloody Spotify booming out, is utterly woeful.

We must have Climate Conferences every three months, for the Planet!

John Kerry Issues Urgent Call: Time for Another Climate Summit (21 Feb)

Climate activist John Kerry warned Monday that geopolitical tensions including floods, famine, pestilence, war and rumors of war must all be set to one side as the time has come for another “urgent” climate conference to seal the fate of the world.

The man chosen by U.S. President Joe Biden to be his Special Envoy for Climate said other world tensions, including coronavirus and the ongoing Ukraine crisis, “will not change the reality of what is happening every day with respect to our climate,”

Well that last sentence is true, but not in the way he thinks. Maybe he’s still defrosting after the last global warming conference in frigid Glasgow, which was only 3 months ago. The good news is the next one is in a salubrious resort in Egypt. I hope no excitable kiddies get excitable, there’re quite a few in that area who keep the Egyptian Army busy.

There is an important level of interpersonal grooming which is essential for human interaction, much like “networking”, which actually works to advance one’s status in the group. All human interaction has a preference for the interpersonal, which is why travel is an essential for international business and diplomacy. So wasting time at meeting is a critical social skill. Not saying I like it but that is the reality. It is said that Stalin got to the top by being able to tolerate long boring meetings.

But I hate it.

If not controlled, the Howler Monkey will segue into any other subject that allows it to hold the floor.

Worst case – if any of the top bosses are within earshot, the Howler Monkey will also praise their leadership and charisma, and reiterate their willingness to sell their children to uphold the organisation’s current Vision and Mission statements. Just slight changes to supply with 12,400 lambs and 3,700 sheep. Heavier weighted lambs again dominated with supplies of well finished trade types in the minority. The market was cheaper dragged down by a lack of demand. Two processing companies were absent and most other buyers operated at lower than usual capacity amid reports they had good supplies of stock around them. Lambs were $10 to $25/head cheaper in a fluctuating sale. Sheep were $15 to $30/head cheaper than a week ago with light mutton hit the hardest.

This is not supply & demand, this is government throttling industry.

Former Blackrock Portfolio Manager Exposes the Pfizer Fraud

He clarifies that the emergence of global totalitarianism is not purely about power and profit. Instead Dowd feels it is to control the masses when they realize the economy is collapsing – the ramifications of which may be the loss of pensions and social security income.

“A lot of what you are seeing in the response of global governments is setting up a system – under the guise of medical tyranny – to prevent the riots that are going to ensue once this thing all unwinds – that’s my personal belief…

Dowd predicts Moderna will drop to zero with bankruptcy as fraud related to concealing the COVID vaccine dangers surfaces, and he predicts Pfizer will become a sub-ten-dollar stock. Dowd explains that the smart money has already left Moderna and will soon be exiting Pfizer.

Dowd foresees an avalanche of lawsuits coming as the insurance industry continues to uncover the legions of mounting deaths coming from the complications of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

Dowd teamed up with an insurance industry analyst and researched the life insurance claims. They found that since OneAmerica shocked the world by announcing a 40% rise in non-COVID deaths in younger working-class employees, multiple other insurance companies worldwide have seen the same thing – massive rises in non-COVID deaths.

““Ahh, Tony Abbott, a man who understands things but when he got his chance, failed miserably. Promoted his opponents, shat on his base (18c) and generally lost his spine, failed to stand up for what he knew was right. The greatest disappointment in my political life.

Tony should be ashamed to keep up a public profile after the way he ruined our hopes and paved the way for Turdbull. Tony a flawed man who in many ways created the current useless Liberal Party.”

I think that’s unfair. I think the white anting of the current Liberal Party goes back decades. Yes, Abbott wasn’t very good (although compared to Turnbull who knifed him, Abbott was wonderful) and personally I remain angry with Abbott because he was insipid on stuff like Section 18C but he did stop the boats and he did get rid of the carbon tax. But just remember…..

1. Abbott and the Liberals didn’t have a majority of the senate.

2. Abbott had Clive Palmer, a man who now, amusingly, has become a saint among some here who clearly have short memories. I don’t have a short memory and I remember how Palmer, upon being elected in 2013 with his mediocre senate team (one of whom remains in the senate) spend his time frolicking and consorting with progressives at the ABC and other left-wing press so as to mock, ridicule and white ant Abbott and his government. The MSM fawned over Palmer precisely because he was a thorn to Abbott and Fatty Palmer lapped it up.

Yes Abbott failed on many fronts….mainly with the MSM, although compared to Turnbull I’ll take Abbott any day. At least Abbott could fight an election and go out and campaign among the great unwashed in marginal electorates where elections are won and lost.

And out in the real world I believe Abbott was quite popular. I also believe, because he was such a formidable campaigner, that Abbott would have won in 2016, sure he would have lost a few seats that he won in the landslide back in 2013 but I reckon that Abbott would have retained far more seats than the Lord of Point Piper managed in that electoral disaster back in 2016…..and remember that it was Joyce and the Nationals that saved Turdbull’s skin back in 2016. Remind me, how many seats did Turnbull lose to the alleged rapist?

“Australia will dispatch hi-tech drones, helicopters, planes and snow vehicles to Antarctica, pushing back against aggressive Chinese and Russian expansion.”

Australia does not own a single medium-lift ANTARCTIC-RATED aircraft. Anyone have any idea of what happens to the airframe when you park a C-130 outside in an Antarctic winter for a couple of days. Those big US birds are built on a special production line; built like tanks and consequently have a reduced cargo capacity. ANARE has relied on the good-will and availability of OTHER nations serious aircraft for decades. A few decades back, an expeditioner was seriously injured at Davis Station. NO way of evacuating him back to Oz or even to another, better equipped station. The Yanks turned up with a fully equipped medical fit-out and team and carted him off to proper treatment.

We have ONE “research vessel”at last count. The ancient, ex-Norwegian “Nella Dan” was scuttled on Macquarie island over a decade ago and we ended up with the “Aurora Australis”. Known by all who have traveled on her as “The Orange Roughy” (typical antarctic marine humour), because of the high-viz paint job and the dubious quality of construction.

The Chinese stage their ships and aircraft out of New Zealand, for logistical and political reasons. Interestingly, they field a small fleet of rebuilt DC-3 aircraft for their polar capers. They lease these from a Canadian company who does the upgrades / conversions for people who need a “poverty-pack” utility aircraft that will not fall to pieces in the serious cold.

The Chinese presence is well inland and huge. They even made a serious feature film set around it and their brave expeditioners, a few years back. (It was shown on “Sex Before Soccer” last year).

Dispute between Clementine Ford and Nine Entertainment heads towards court

The ongoing stoush between Nine Entertainment and its newspapers’ one-time controversial star columnist Clementine Ford appears to be heading inexorably to the court house.

Ford quit The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age in February 2019 claiming she had been given an official warning for calling Scott Morrison an “f..king disgrace”. On the way out the door, Ford took a pot shot at the newspapers’ executive editor James Chessell, now Nine publishing boss.

She later claimed the former Fairfax newspapers had shifted to the right after their acquisition by Nine Entertainment in late 2018, noting Chessell’s former gig working for Joe Hockey.

However, the most recent chapter of the dispute came in January, when the Nine newspapers abruptly pulled an interview with Ford, written by Kerrie O’Brien, promoting her new book. But what most upset Ford were comments made by Tory Maguire, who succeeded Chessell as executive editor of the Herald and The Age in July.

In a quote published by Guardian Australia columnist Amanda Meade, Maguire accused Ford of spending years “making vile and personal attacks on the journalists and editors of the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age after the mastheads stopped publishing her column”.

That claim – which Ford denies, saying she has only ever targeted senior management and Chessell – has now been the subject of correspondence between Nine and Ford’s legal team, high-profile lawyer Rebekah Giles and Sydney defamation silk Sue Chrysanthou.

They claim Maguire had made out that Ford’s comments were so egregious that it required Maguire to intervene and protect her journalists, sources told Margin Call.

One letter demanded Nine, and Maguire personally, publish an apology to Ford.

In exchange, Ford would stop her legal action.

Nine’s response to that offer was brief.

“Your client’s offer is declined,” wrote Nine’s executive counsel, Larina Alick.

In comments:

Malcolm

There’s a solid honourable job shelf stacking at Coles for you Clemantine. I wouldnt pass it up if I were you.

I don’t recall Ford ever complaining when the Fairfax newspapers shifted to her much loved left.

You would think that returning to some sort of balance would be supported by all journalists. Not Ford. For her, it’s all about the battle.

CDC Admits They are Keeping Vaccine and COVID Data Hidden Because They Worry People Will Talk About It
February 21, 2022 | sundance

The New York Times reports quotes from the CDC spokesperson about why the public health organization refuses to release data on COVID-19 and the vaccines. Nothing quite builds public confidence like the CDC saying they cannot release information because they are worried people will talk about it.

If the vaccines are effective, they cannot be misinterpreted as being ineffective. However, if the data shows the vaccines are ineffective, which at this point almost everyone admits they are, then the question becomes what were all of the mandates about?

The bell tolls for thee Fiona Martin. She’s gone.

I watched a Rita clip on YouTube where she (Rita) interviewed a woman heading a group called something like “Save Women’s Sport” – a laudable cause – called Katherine Deves.

Chook Zali came up and turned out this woman was running against Zali in the upcoming election. Thinks I to myself “Hey, she is already making a stand against this woke garbage, Let’s see…”

Alas. She is running as a Liberal.

The party machine might manage to boot her over the line (not with my vote), but is she ready for the reality that while she could speak from the heart when running for the seat, as soon as she wins she must renounce that fire and instead obediently advance the limp agenda of a lazy, self-absorbed cabal who will cut deals where she will end up supporting the very people she went into politics to defeat.

You just want to shake her and ask “Do you really think you are the first person to enter politics with ideals? Then where do you think the rest of them have gone?”

Top Ender at 9:25.
I think “heading to court” might be a stretch.
It sounds like Clammie is a bit relevance deprived and doing a bit of pity trolling.
This will be an exchange of angry letters and a walk away.
All I can see is:-
.1 she got her chain yanked for shitty behaviour in 2019 and flounced out of Fewfacts;
.2 the expected job offers didn’t materialise;
.3 her latest money maker is a thrown together book, which she tried to get a friendly at Fewfacts to promote.
.4 the editor canned the book promo. Which is an editor’s prerogative.
.5 there is ample EVIDENCES to support the “vile attacks” assertion.
.6 This will not make it before a JURDGE.
.7 It is not actionable.
.8 Clammy has no standing.

Clammie has one of the most punchable faces in Australia. She has a sense of humour though, claiming fucked facts has moved to the right: tell that to BRS. Anyway here’s clammie in all her glory.

Ha!

The Margoyle!

What was the name of the new news platform she left Fauxfacts to create, with content provided by what she called ‘citizen journalists’?

I remember one of her beta-male fans gushing about it – foreseeing the day that he would tell his son (who would doubtless be wearing a dress and demanding the pronouns AO/MOD/TV.VERS) about the birth of the by then (supposedly) ubiquitous news source and how it grew so fast on the work of common citizens.

As for Clemmie, she really has an endless fountain of hate within her, and her columns were all about spreading her hate to other people so they can spit it out as well.

Without an outlet like Fauxfacts it will build up inside and erupt at the slightest provocation – real or perceived.

The Age’s business model was the same as Bedlam Asylum’s in the eighteenth century – get people to pay to watch the bizarre antics of the loonies. Clementine Ford and Catherine Deveny were, in that sense, the “star” attractions.

Huge deployment of British tanks and troops to Estonia as Russia crisis deepens (21 Feb)

According to the British Army: “The Royal Welsh Battlegroup, which includes armoured vehicles and personnel from the Royal Engineers, Royal Tank Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps and Royal Artillery, will leave Sennelager in Germany and bases in the UK, and begin to arrive in Estonia during the coming weeks.”

Troops from a Danish Company will also join the British soldiers in the deployment.

Good idea Poms. Keep Vlad from deciding he can do a clean sweep. Always a little more interesting to play chicken with a country with SLBMs.

Incidentally I wouldn’t myself have used the word “huge”. “Tiny” might be more accurate. The story is from the Express which likes huuuge exciting adjectives. But the geopolitical significance of the deployment is worth a lot more than the tonnage of steel.

But hey, he didn’t want to be the only guy not punch a protester (if that was actually a protest in the footage – might have been a guy from months ago being harassed for some other restriction-sin).

Is Channel Nein making any money from Fauxfacts/Domain?

No, Humphrey. The Fakefacts papers are a sink hole of red ink and plunging circulations and readerships with next-to-no profitable advertising content to replace the advertising “rivers of gold” they farewelled out of incompetence at the turn of the century.

Nein evidently still believes the Fakefacts papers are or can be a “strategic” investment, which gives it publishing reach beyond TV, even though Nein’s top-rating shows are: a) the news, which uses virtually zero Fakefacts content; and b) A Current Affair, which specialises in chasing consumer baddies and would be destroyed if it ever drank the toxic and unpopular Fakefacts political poison.
