Death duties, Lysander.

Can’t have the thrifty passing on their hard earned.

Except the seriously wealthy who can make other arrangements.

I guess they must’ve all gone off to be foreign fighters for Russia, right? (Given left leanings, spitting hate of capitalism and the US)…

“And, as Cats know, you shouldn’t be in the business of making predictions, but I predict (!!!)”

All, umm, predictable.
Same old same old.
All done to same playbook.

“Here is this problem – more government will fix it and it won’t cost you a cent!”
“yay for gov, yay for free stuff – here’s a vote, go do it”
“it is done, you are saved”
“yay”

“Oh look – our glorious fix didn’t quite work out how we intended. Never mind, we can fix it. More government and it won’t cost you a cent”
“yay for gov, yay for free stuff – here’s a vote, go do it”

Rinse and repeat. And repeat… and repeat…
Eventually we get to either communism or oligarchy. Or collapse. Or civil war. Or some sort of war, anyway…

Oh look – Ukraine!
Surprise!
Might become WWIII!
Surprise!

You can all be as indignant as you want that someone dares question your moral compass…You…..I mean YOU after all it’s YOU……. how dare he question your actions or talk about right and wrong.
You’ll do what you want, fuck everybody else, and you won’t hear another word about it.

How very convenient.
If only the real world was like that.
It isn’t.

Morrison got us through the pandemic

It has not been a pandemic in Australia without changing the definition. It was Bullshit from the start when the Ruby Princess docked. Incompetents running the show. If it was a pandemic why were there exemptions for anyone? Show me one thing that wasn’t a stuff-up from start to finish and it hasn’t finished yet.

However, get your jab, have your boosters….as long as I’ve posted a few things that show just how utterly fucked in the head you’d have to be to take them, my conscience is clear.
But excuse me if I DARE criticise the participation in a segregated society and surrender to tyranny, especially to just go on holidays.

Struth, you are just obsessed. I am in my eightieth year and took the vaxx. And I have the temerity to travel in the last good years of my life, spending our own earned money. Evil incarnate, I am.
Best you leave it at that before you get any more obnoxious.

Im looking at the “ok groomers” insult being directed at the “educationalists’ who are trying their best to introduce tranny crap to pre and primary age schoolkids.

Its a brilliant insult.
(and you wont guess where its come from)

Most kids have no idea about sexuality other than boys have cooties and girls are gross.
So you have to ask why do you need to inform them if they feel like that they must be trans?
because thats about the stage its at, kids are being told they are gay/trans because their best friend in the world is the same sex.
At the best its confusing kids.
At the worst its a deliberate tactic to swell numbers of ‘confused’ kids to be harvested/enrolled into the deviant lifestyle.

These are seriously sick weirdoes.

“Here is this problem – more government will fix it and it won’t cost you a cent!”

Government does not have a dollar they haven’t taken from someone else. To give that dollar they have to receive a lot more coz only the private sector actually pay tax, all the rest are on the government teat which the private sector pay for. The private sector are the only ones paying down debt. If you think the public sector pay tax, think again, where does the money come from in the first place.

Well I thought digging post out of the ground at that time was essential work and the government agreed. Amusing it was driving though towns with signs saying “locals only stay out”.

No matter what you think, Morrison got us through the pandemic in the best position of any comparable country…. Bar none.

No. Morrison did not. He set up the secretative and unaccountable National Cabinet and handed his responsibilities to assorted State despot.

His defence actions have been the best of any Prime Minister in Australia’s history… Bar none.

That remains to be seen.

Ably helped by arguably the best Defence Minister in our history.

No argument from me there. Dutton has stood out as the more competent front-bencher under Scummo’s leadership.

It has not been a pandemic in Australia without changing the definition.

I agree. A pandemic is when a disease takes its natural course, killing many hundreds or thousands or millions in the process and ending when a population develops a degree of herd immunity and as the virus or bacterium mutates to milder forms. Cov-2 spread in Australia was artificially limited, but at a very great cost for a disease that had, in the event, a significant death rate only amongst the elderly and immune compromised. This much was obvious by October 2020 when top epidemiologists introduced a call to end lockdowns, never the way to fight any epidemic, in a document known as the Great Barrington Declaration, which I signed as an MPH. Did my bit there, Struth, sticking to what I had always done, assessed risks, as I did in March 2020 still going on my travels then too.

Morrison could have taken good advice at that time and come down hard on the Premiers and their obscene lockdowns. The Swedish example was one to follow, even if he had done it in a lesser way, he could still have saved the mass of the population from the effectively mandatory vaxxes and harsh lockdowns. Instead, we took the Chinese model, which they are still clinging to. Thankfully, we have thrown all that away now, in most places, but residuals remain, unfair and unnecessary except for those who have face to save.

In much the same way Ruddles and Goose Swansteen got us through the GFC. By blowing hundreds of billions of other peoples’ money. With precisely zero to show for it after all the hysterical chicken little screeching had finally died down.

Digger, you’ve lost your marbles. In case you hadn’t noticed, most people here don’t take kindly to commenters cheering on the gliberals. The gliberals are as bad as labore and the greenfilth and in many ways worse, as the former are actually slightly more efficient at implementing the latter bunch of idiots’ insane anti-human policies – if such destructive cloud cuckoo land brain farts could be dignified with the term.

I recall having a chat with a Minister who had received advice from the Public “Service” that was contrary to what he wanted to do (fund a program in his electorate)…

My advice to him was to “fuck the public service” because “none of them vote for you anyway.”

In addition you could leave Oz but had to submit documentation for approval to justify it . There was no specification of what was required other than going for 3 months would be more favourably viewed.

So how does that 3 months work with the treaty? It starts to sound like a fucked up overreaction between Health and Immigration.

For a bond holder to pursue Russia for a ruble payment (not USD, GBP or EUR) they would have to be sued in the jurisdiction where the bonds were sold.
We can add that to the list of things that would highlight sanctions being escalated.

So long as Russia is selling valued commodities, etc. the Ruble will be valuable.

Is it? Valuable as in what exactly? As “valuable” as the Greenback, the Euro or the Aussie. Don’t kid yourself.

In any event, you export in order to import and that’s going to be difficult for the Russians. Their exports are on balance going to sell at a discount and their imports will be at a premium. Why? Because they can be gouged as they’re in no position the bargain.

People need to stop thinking Russia has all the answers.

Three things came out of Russia.

1. Oil&gas
2. Second rate military crap (we know that now)
3. Hookers.

Oil&gas is basically fucked and if they sell any, they will generally be forced to sell below the world market. Military sales may waver as the Russians may need it themselves as most of their crap is getting blown up in Uke. Hooker? Hookers aren’t allowed out of the country as the West has blocked travel from and to Russia.

Where’s the upside that this genius Putin has considered and allowed for?

“For some unknown reason they seem to think by destroying the Liberals they are not empowering the ALP… Possibly caused by something in the water.”

The Liberals have destroyed themselves.

Morrison has been an excellent PM for the times.

Really? A smidgen of Morrison’s excellent decisions for the times….

1. Morrison’s decision to set up a “national cabinet” has been a disaster. All it did was empower leftist premiers and has helped trash federation.

2. Not once has Morrison ever spoken up when our liberties were being assaulted and trampled on. When people were being physically assaulted by police in Melbourne…Morrison said nothing. When tradies couldn’t go to work to earn a crust, Morrison said nothing.

3. Morrison has led a fiscally irresponsible government.

4. Morrison has further empowered their ABC by throwing yet more money at it.

5. Morrison has refused to engage in any culture wars. This is the same man who once said that “free speech doesn’t create one job”…or words to that effect.

6. Morrison prejudiced several trials…he trashed Cardinal George Pell, he trashed our SAS soldiers and recently, in an act of grotesque irresponsibility, he’s prejudiced any chance that the accused in the Higgins’ allegation can ever receive a fair trial.

7. Morrison refused to stand with Christian Porter and Alan Tudge. Both men were thrown to the lions by Morrison. The Porter allegations were ludicrous…..yet, in an effort to curry favour with progressive scum who would never vote for him, he deliberately fellated the whole “woman problem”.

8. Morrison left an important piece of legislation, the “Religious Freedom Bill” to just before midnight. It didn’t pass.

The above is just a smidgen of his faults and failings. Scott Morrison won’t be missed….a total mediocrity. Perhaps after he loses the election next month (and lose he will), he can travel with his wife to Cornwall and search for more of his ancestors….you remember don’t you? How, when attending the G7 conference in the UK last June, when the rest of us were forbidden to travel overseas to see our loved ones, when the rest of us were masked like hostages and when the rest of us were subjected to a variety of nonsensical Covid restrictions, Morrison took time out from the G7 to search for his ancestors and was pictured smiling, maskless and huddled together with some Cornish folk.

Here’s the truth….

Scott Morrison has been a mediocrity for the times.

• The disgraceful Labor and media pile-on against Scott Morrison on his character is excruciating to watch. Morrison’s Tuesday sit-down with Leigh Sales of the ABC’s 7.30 programme is a case in point. Sales threw everything but the kitchen sink at Morrison’s character, with no pretence of objectivity. Whatever one thinks of his transactional politics and his values vacuum, Morrison’s undoubtedly a tough bastard. His attempts to appear warm and cuddly look contrived and fake. Morrison should just seize just the initiative from his tormentors and simply say, ‘I’m a bastard when I need to be in the interests of Australians and my government. I make no apology for that. If I need to crack heads, I crack heads. Just live with it.’

Death duties, Lysander.

Can’t have the thrifty passing on their hard earned.

Except the seriously wealthy who can make other arrangements.

Of course! How did I miss death duties!!! Thanks Calli!!!

Better still, retrospective death duties by raiding people’s superannuation.

Oh, wait.

Superannuation funds are already full of jobsworths and maaates on bloated salaries, propaganda via ‘newsletters’ and their digital equivalents, political decisions about what to invest in (e.g. no fossil fuel companies) and none of the constraints of the Companies Act to keep them in check.

We were promised that universal compulsory superannuation would ensure a comfortable retirement for full time workers.

How’s that turned out in practice? Many decades later, for most people, it just means that the trifling income from their super is deducted from the Age Pension.

But, what a bonanza it has been to the spivs of the financial world, clipping a ticket here, directing an investment there, gigantic pots of gold conveniently in one place.

If anyone here still has money tied up in super, be watchful.

In the private sector, that is. For many public servants, all judges, and a few other privileged classes, generous superannuation is underwritten by taxpayers and can never be taken away.

Bit cool for that sort of thing in Perth isn’t it?

Vegan activist Tash Peterson has staged another half-naked protest outside a Perth court – just moments after she was found guilty of disorderly conduct for storming into a Louis Vuitton store smothered in her own period blood.

The 28-year-old walked out of court and took off her top to expose her breasts, with just a strip of pink tape covering her nipples as a message: “Wear ur own skin!” was scribbled on her chest.

Her actions come just moments after a magistrate found her guilty of disorderly conduct for storming into the luxury boutique store during peak hours, wearing minimal clothing where children were present.

“It doesn’t bother me at all. I’m here to speak up so I’m not going to stop,” she told reporters outside court on Wednesday. “There’s no stopping until the animal holocaust end.”

Peterson entered a Louis Vuitton store in Perth wearing nothing but a skin-coloured g-string and what she claimed to be her own period blood on August 21, 2021.

The controversial activist held a placard that read: “I would rather be naked than wear someone else’s skin”, as she yelled at customers for being “animal abusers”. “Who was murdered for your leather bags, down jacket, and woolen jumper?” she shouted at the time.

“If you’re not vegan, you’re an animal abuser. Louis Vuitton are responsible for the murder of cows, sheep, goats, foxes, minx, ducks and geese. “Louis Vuitton have blood in their hands, and so do you if you’re not vegan.”

The 28-year-old posted a video of her standing outside Louis Vuitton following the court outcome as she showed no signs of backing down.

“I’ve just come out of court and I was charged for disorderly conduct so I’ve been found guilty for a protest I did here in Louis Vuitton last August,” she said in a video posted on Instagram.

“The reason I was charged is because it’s not normal to be naked in a Louis Vuitton store so apparently that’s considered disorderly conduct but also because of the fact that I was calling people out for animal abuse and murder which is in this store.

“This store is responsible for the murder of cows, sheep, crocodiles, snakes, minx, foxes, ducks, geese – there are so many species in this store and their bodies are turned into fashion items and sold for thousands of dollars.

“And apparently that’s considered disorderly conduct for trying to stop animal abuse. It is just absurd.”

Peterson will be sentenced on Friday.

Salvatore:

This cockhead is not a real publican.
What’s he so worried about? People have always been talking shit in pubs.

He’s a Lefty idiot who has conflated two issues:
.1 The Right of Free Speech, and,
.2 The right to impose arbitrary censorship on speech he doesn’t like.
The ownership of the venue doesn’t have any effect on the fact these are his opinions and I would suggest he also believes he should have the right to censor speech anywhere, not just his pub.

It’s about people traveling along a road at night. It’s always at night. You eventually find out that this is the endless road in hell.

What’s the name?

Don’t know it.
But it sounds like an adaptation of “Outward Bound” where people consigned to hell are stuck with each other on a cruise ship.
Or maybe that was a documentary.

The West Australian are running a short story comp with $50K for the winner.

Am thinking about writing a story about a chap who lives in a State that only has one major newspaper that is just as propagandist as the National Broadcaster and he takes things into his own hands…

It’s only a story…

That’s the one I looked at, rosie. If you delve deeper, you find this:

Validity ends 270 days after vaccination (without booster)
Proof of vaccination is valid for 270 days after you received the final dose of your primary vaccination.

I am extremely reluctant to have a booster given my injured arm.

As I said, they’ll likely tone it down.

Similar, but on a desert Hwy at night and they drive for eternity meeting horrible people along the way.

Aaaand….Croatia:

certificate that they have received two doses of vaccine used in the EU Member States (Pfizer, Moderna, AstaZeneca, Gamaleya, Sinopharm, Novavax) or vaccines approved by the World Health Organization for emergency use (Serum Institute of India – Covishield, Bharat Biotech – Covaxin, Sinovac – CoronaVac) not older than 270 days,

The restriction I mentioned still stands.

Didn’t Bolt go one step further, & state that Russian people need to see Medvedev being banned from Wimbledon, so they realise what a bastard Putin is, or something?

Straight out of the CCP struggle session handbook.

Its a wonder Bold didn’t want Medvedev to disavow Russia and Putin while on his knees

For where Calli?
The Netherlands government site says
“There are no coronavirus entry rules for residents of:

countries within the EU/Schengen area
countries participating in the EU travel rules scheme.
These travellers do not need proof of vaccination or recovery or a negative test result.”

Half yer luck!

Yes Calli, but there is a simple alternative to proof of vaxx for tourists in Croatia, either a neg PRC test in 72 hours or a rat in 24.

Scary but true and is becoming more real now.

We truly are dealing with psychopathic megalomaniacs who see themselves as god.

Apropos of recent discussion of ANZ online banking.

Took a phone call this afternoon from ANZ.
Some very intrusive questioning;
The bank will want to see my tax returns, & lotsa other stuff.

I ended the call with a statement that none of this stuff is their business.

Don’t know where this came from, never had this sort of intrusive demand before – ever.

It is their business if you

1. have a loan
2. run an overdraft limit
3. Applying for 1 or 2.

If that’s not the case then you’re bullshitting as usual, Driller. More appropriately referred to as blowharding.

I’m sure that in a few days time after you’ve pretended to write a strongly worded letter in the style of Hans Blix, they send you a letter of apology. Funny how you’re always receiving apology letters. 🙂
