People suddenly taken ill, Ambulance called.
What’s going on?

So why say it at all, if all you’ve got is gossip*?
All Mrs Jessups like you end up doing is heaping pain on grieving families by falsely attributing deaths to controllable causes when, almost invariably, there is no link.
And, if there is, an ill-informed nosey neighbour isn’t the one who should be speculating about it.

* Gossip – The common-or-garden name for “anecdotal evidence”.
How is canola oil oxidised? Are you saying have no unsaturated fatty acids at all?
If it hasn’t gone off, it isn’t oxidised. Even if it has broken down, it may have simply been hydrolysed (reduced) (and yes this can catalyse oxidation).
The worst part of the refining process is how the vitamins such as tocopherols are removed. Some people pay to have them artificially put back in.
I get the argument over fatty acid ratio and how done omega fatty acids are anti nutrients.
You’re going have to lay out this oxidation idea.
internal migration states for March 2021 (the latest) show net loss in Victoria for that quarter was 4900
When Whitlam and his gargantuan ego told us in 1972 that it was time to end the stuffy old LNP government we had had since World War Two, it was popular with the kiddies because the idea that he could put the economy into a tailspin was as fantastic as the acid haze of the 1960s. It was party time — what could possibly go wrong?
As Top Ender says, 2022 isnโt party time. Thereโs no will for an โItโs Timeโ campaign even if there were a Whitlam among us. Elbow is no Whitlam, just a grubby old Trotskyist shop steward who, like Joe Biden, has to lie about his past.
Weโve just been through the traumatic mismanagement of Kung Flu in which our bureaucrats declared war on the economy and Australian families.
Our main ally in the world, the USA, is in disarray, while its defence bureaucrats threaten to start World War Three with nuclear-armed Russia.
Itโs not 1972. Itโs no time for a frolic with a socialist alternative government that wants to use its mad ideology to wreck the economy and its ability to pay for government mismanagement.
I had a moron suggest someone facing a urgent craniotomy for metastasised cancer not get vaccinated such is the fanaticism of some of the anti vaxx crowd.

If the increased activity for ambulances is true, there may be a very simple reason.
Manyโฆmany people just canโt get an appointment to see their doctor. For a raft of reasons, but I would say isolating because covid is one of them, thus creating a huge backlog. Much the same as site closure due to rain – the momentum is lost and rescheduling creates its own log jams.
So, what to do if you think you need urgent attention? Dial 000, natch.
In the context of posters in yards , added to the millions of Labor rustedons rosie and you’re pushing shit up hill to get a sufficient swing to defeat Labor’s stranglehold domination in Vic. But we’ll see.
Irrelevant really. Oil is off 20-30%. It gladdens all hearts so no advantage one way or another.
If Australians can’t see the pain of working class Europeans over energy and food prices (a huge problem before the war in the Ukraine) they deserve what’s coming.
I suspect many post war migrants with strong ties to the old countries might have a better idea than dinki dis.

One day it might dawn that Labor is now about making the poor poorer.
Bottom line- it won’t be for a couple of years before some come back if this is reasonably accurate. A state election will occur within that window.
I haven’t scrolled back yet, bar up to Kneel’s question.
It’s quite a simple answer Kneel.
Think about living by your convictions, which I try to do.
The government is killing people.
That is a fact.
It is killing people who willingly……remembering individual responsibility……got the jab.
If the jab kills you, you have no one to blame bar yourself.
Violence can’t be justified in that situation.
Not at all.
Not by me anyway, as I didn’t take it, and am living by my convictions of non-submission.
It only gets violent when someone tries to forcefully jab me…in other words attempts to kill me.
All possible peaceful routes first.
Here’s a fact.
If everyone had taken the approach to this I and a good few million other Australians have taken, this would NEVER HAVE HAPPENED.
It would have been over before it started.
Everyone who got the jab coerced or indeed wanting it, did it.
Disobedience is the winning formula..
Violence unless targetted and precise will play into their hands.
This is a propaganda war.
A twenty four seven fear campaign for now over two years that has never stopped.
Good work. I loved my time in Melbournibad but it was 10 years ago and pre-Chairman. No way I would go back again.
That doesn’t include international migration.
Once the ponzie gets back to full swing things will be back to abnormal.
Victoria is like a Pentecostal church; as fast as they leave through the back door they’re welcoming more in through the front door, thus the illusion of growth and success is maintained.
The intensity of Albo’s grilling by the MSM is a little puzzling.
They normally test out their favourite beforehand to make sure they won’t be let down and embarrassed. KRudd’s New York strip club visit didn’t hurt him in the polls, so the media went 100% pro Rudd.
Is it possible that the MSM are worried that independents might hold the balance of power after the election?
If they make it look possible that Morrison could still win, many of those intending to vote UAP,PHON or LDP might drift back to the Liberals.
MSM can easily control the Liberals, but maybe not the outsiders.
Netflix series warning.
I watched Anatomy of a Scandal (Sienna Miller and Rupert Friend) about a married MP accused of raping a staffer in a lift in Parliament. That was a week after their 5 months affair had come out in the press.

There’ll be big flight to all the minor parties, including the “indi’s” and greens – who invariably lean left.
Elbow (noice!) might do a bradbury over the line and wonder how he got there.
Years and 2 elections (1 state and Fed each) away to be of any nett effect in Vic. So I’d say Labor look reasonably safe for now in Vic albeit with a reduced majority perhaps. Painful prospect I know- I live in Andrew’s electorate and it baffles me how Labor has a 4.5% majority here.
Adam Bandt and Simon Holmes a Court with control of the Senate would require a re-examination of the assumption the country could make it 3 years to the next election.

My vote will be starting at the bottom with the greens and ALP.. the libs won’t be too far above that low water line.
Be damned if they’re getting my electoral dollars.
The maths certainly doesnโt favour the Liborals.
If they are going to change leaders mid-stream they had better hurry up.
The how-to-votes and ballot papers are being prepared this week I think.
We are caught out by time. We can’t ask for a postal vote now as once printed it would arrive at our address here too late and we can’t rely on postal services o/s for timely delivery and return. We can’t rock up for a pre-poll yet because they are still printing this week (need to check that). We have a suspicion the first pre-poll will be on Tues 26th and we are flying out then. Anzac day takes away the Monday. Our last option is to change our itinerary and take a trip back into London to Australia House and vote there. Daniel Lewkovitz LDP in Wentworth deserves our vote so somehow or other we will get it to him.
People in Vicco had had enough of St Steve of Bracks and Brumby gave the Libs a go. Wishy washy even so you could live with them. I’m still waiting to hear why the Parrot-Health hazard or Pleasurechook are better than the dick-tator other than coming across as ‘nice’.
Not having an Opposition worth their salt helps.

Rosie,
Not Vaxxed, happy with anti-viral approach over the last 2 years, given my Son, Daughter-in-law and 3 Grandkids, all triple Pfizer Vax, and all came down with Covid last month – had been considering Novavax, but given all the vacillation on Vax Passports, will give it a miss and continue with Antivirals
Had Flu Vaccine last week, and having had urgent craniotomy in February unvaxxed, would not consider myself a Moron – Have had 3 Pneumococcal Vaccines & would not consider myself an anti-vaxxer just cynical about Vaccines that had to have the definition of vaccine changed and don’t work
Re Novavax as a booster after 2 AZ and a dose of Covid as well. We’ve both had absolutely no reactions, no sore arm, carrying on completely as usual since the jab including swimming laps (both), regular dancing (me) and regular gym (he).
A great pity this useful vaxx was stymied (see link above) by US govt’s Pfizer push. mRNA seems to have far more side effects than Novavax.
True enough, yet another reason why I think Vic Labor is reasonably safe.
Happens to the best of us young man. Hair everywhere but where you need it.

The jackals falling over themselves to attribute any death, regardless of circumstance to the vax are no better – none – than the medical cartels of two years ago attributing any death, regardless of circumstance to covid.

This simple reason was pointed out two years ago, and comes on top of the usual slew of stupid calls ambulances are called to which take time away from genuine emergencies.
It’s terrifying. People want a free lift to hospital because their family members are there visiting another family member (actually in hospital), and one of said family is likely to have some cash to be sponged. So – a 000 call feigning severe abdominal pain and blurred vision gets you a ride, and then it’s a hop skippity jump out of the ambulance at the other end.

What happened to “stand, and if necessary fall”? Was that for others?
Old Ozzie,
I have been reading your excellent and extremely useful posts (particularly on Jo Novaโs blog) for a long time – & the very LAST description of you would be โa moronโ!!! Nor, clearly, are you an โanti-vaxerโ. The latter is a description that particularly annoys me. As I frequently tell people who comment on my (Covid) unvaccinated status : โDuring my lifetime I seem to have had every vax known to man!โ This is, of course, an exaggeration …..but, as well as the usual childhood vaccinations, I certainly have had some of the โout thereโ vaccinations that you were once required to travel to, for example, Africa….. Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Diphtheria (I think) , even (as I seem to recall) the vax for โSleeping Sicknessโ….
But, I will confess, after my “heavy dutyโresearch project into immunology and vaccinology, as a result of the dubious COVID vaccines, I will be fairly circumspect about vaccines in the future. One of the most serious shocks I have suffered as a result of this reading, has been the recognition that even published and peer reviewed research papers in celebrated medical journals are now in question because of the ubiquitous โpayolaโ going on in this industry as a result of the enormous power of Big Pharma. Everyone in the medical research fraternity seems to be aware of it…..but not the bloody innocent public!
If I may say, that was apparent from the very start of this extended manic episode.
Forget? Never!
But recently read a Jeffrey Tucker article in Brownstone in which he decries the ease with which these incredible assaults on our way of life seem to be fading into just vague memories for a lot of people.
I presume that excludes Mrs MS and I who are Qlders returning back to Qld, admittedly from the fire into the frying pan. However, we have no immediate family here in Viktoriastan and the last two years of tyranny have focussed our need to be close to family, particularly as we are in the last quarter of our lives.
It may have been noticed before, but Iโll say it again.
Everyone is so heavily invested in their choice that itโs highly unlikely that anyone will change their mind, however much they are browbeaten, ridiculed and subjected to emotional blackmail.
That goes for both sides.
Endless repetition of the same talking points is just a bagpipe drone. Stirring to begin with, rapidly descending into excruciating wallpaper.
he decries the ease with which these incredible assaults on our way of life seem to be fading into just vague memories for a lot of people.
yes too true- almost like a bad dream that’s over. You’re right- we should never forget. Looking back it’s so disgusting and outrageous, it almost seems like just a nightmare.
A rise in interest rates. Collapse in commercial and residential property. Stamp duty dries up. Victoriastanis are right back in the Kennett era
It’s worse than that, Bear, because Kennett still had an infrastructure of institutions that, while crusted with Labor’s appointments, remained salvageable or sackable.
Today, consider the various cancers Labor has implanted and which continue to gnaw away at decency and probity:
VicPol — incompetent, brutal, politicised, immune to investigation or reproach, selective in its targeting, devoted to revenue raising rather than honest policing, and with a hotline running straight from the Chief Commish’s office to Spring Street.
The courts — One word: Pell.
The public service — upper levels colonised by Labor and The Greens. Like VicPol, impossible to conceive of reform other than starting out all over again.
How diseased is Vic public service? Well, when one of the enablers of the Rotherham grooming scandal lost her job in the UK as a result of that negligence, she was immediately hired to a nob position with Vic’s education department.
The media — listen to 3AW, one example, for an hour or so and count the ‘public service’ announcements hailing the state government’s many wonderful contributions to the lives of Victorians. Amongst those announcements is a beaut in which an adolescent female is hailed for coming out as gay.
You think the media doesn’t know on which side its bread is buttered? Two years of fealty to the official COVID narrative should dispel that delusion.
Victoria, rooted everywhere you look.
In my case there was no choice- get it or face unemployment
No the risk is to high, sorry.
How diseased is Vic public service?

Lizzie there is a vax better than Novavax one lurking out there. I read about it months ago, it allows the immune responses to target the nucleocapsid which has much lower mutation rates.
Osivax and 3P Biopharmaceuticals team up to develop a new universal vaccine against current and future variants of SARS-COV-2
The benefit of this vaccine compared to others lies mainly in the fact that it targets a part of the virus that is much less prone to mutation: the nucleocapsid. Osivax oligoDOMยฎ (OVX313) technology enables the transformation of the nucleocapsid into a highly immunogenic antigen to trigger potent B- and T-cell immune responses.

just like the rest of the Cartel of Stupidity
because it is absurd
another informal fallacy
like this: Milt, are you still a hypocrite ?
Brits are being prepped for war – and it looks like the Nudge Unit is in charge of the campaign:

Warmers = vaxxers = mandaters = mutilators = Ukrainers
Same people.
Most know here that I didn’t say stand and fall whatever is necessary.
That’s just a typical BEAT UP by the sneerers.
Then I thought, yep…I am, I have and I will.
Two years and still haven’t bent over for government like those bitches.
No, Aaron Mate, Scott Ritter, etc. I wouldn’t be joking about someone that may now be in custody of the SBU or one of the Ukenazi militias in Kharkov.
Exactly
When the gibber-fueled cartel is pumping the talking-points this joint is exceedingly tiresome
Is Bosi nominating for this election?
Are there other A1 candidates?
The thing about manual skills is they evolve with technology and equipment.
The manual hot riveters of the 1800s were partially supplanted by steam and compressed air-driven hammers by the 1920s and 30s. And then almost completely by cold riveting and welding in the 1940s, depending on the application.
It has never totally disappeared, since commercial and volunteer concerns alike continue to maintain, repair and operate infrastructure and machinery built using these techniques. And just as well- 150 year old riveted iron bridges still bear traffic worldwide, as an example.
And while welded pressure vessels are de riguer these days, old riveted ones are just as capable of bearing stresses long-term, so long as they are looked after and treated with care. It could be argued that riveted ones are safer, as you might get a few rivets let go while the rest hold instead of an entire weld failing. You just need to be a bit more thorough in the inspections.
All hail the BBQ smoker philosopher!
I love climate alarmists, they’re funny.
Israel to top up shrinking Sea of Galilee with desalinated water (Phys.org, 15 Apr)
Wow, that’s terrible. We should panic. I wonder how the lake is going today?
Water level of the Lake Kinneret (14 Apr)
Less than a foot from maximum capacity. Oh. As you were then.
Poor Matrix…
the immune system deals with all parts of a virus not repeatedly overtrained on a very specific subset. look up ADE and antigenic sin.
Choo choo, you’re a triple jabbed, bitch of McGowan …totally owned so you can keep your union job comrade.
Myself and many others here have daily put report after report and proof after proof that the vaccines kill.
And it’s what, just a year into it?
Struggling for proof you say…………….you and Notafan are escapees from the same funny farm of denialism.
Done your will?
I have to disagree. Pure patronising like the left did.
Heat up rivet hit in hole. The end.
Given the work, living and pay condition of those blokes. I don’t think they would see it as some golden age.
Hmmm…
Cartel of StUpIdItY vs the Cult of Struth?
Raining in NE VIC. Shed drainage upgrade work done. Burn offs this weekend all remained under control. Two more paddocks to go.
Artisanal work of that nature was treated little differently to mechanical process workers at the time.
Partial automation with hammering kit and oxy torches made the work easier, but no less time-consuming.
even using vpn, its possible to track him down if they access the telcos. if he has a mobile phone he is toast.
I’m citing Daniel Allen Butlers account of that sinking – one of the best accounts written. He said they were victims of their belief in their own technology. They envisaged no circumstances under which all the passengers and crew would need all the lifeboats simultaneously. Watertight bulkheads and pumps would delay the sinking of the ship, while radio summoned nearby ships to their aid, and the lifeboats would be used to shuttle passengers and crew to said ships.
This place reminds me of Jack Gibson at Lang Park: “They’d boo Santa, this mob.”
I am? So why isn’t he returning my calls? You slut! You’ve claimed him all for yourself, haven’t you?!
From TrUsTeD BlOgGeRs.
Who keep proving themselves as prone to hyperbole and outright fabrication as the hated government.
You’re not getting anything, Cousin Ernie. Nothing at all…
All right, it might be Uke propaganda……makes a good story, though.
And if this was truly the best you could do to defend your non-demonstrable nuffy bullshit about governments killing people with jabs (Notice how the DeAtH CaMpS are all but empty? And remarkably luxuriously appointed, too…), then I’m pretty comfortable that I’ll be tormenting you with my non-death well beyond 11.5-23.5 months from now…
Again, some of you may have read about my conclusions after years of watching “never Trumper, useless right wing country club membership over political conviction” types, babble on about how no candidate is up to scratch.
No real desire for , or understanding of politics, they want to be part of what they see as a class separation…those in the Conservative/Libertarian country club from the low lives who should never be accepted under any circumstance….and in the process show just how little class they actually have, and indeed how collectivist the mind set is.
I don’t follow Bosi, because he doesn’t play a good political game.
However, a choice of a nation of Bosi types or a nation of the lying sneering Sanchos of the slip lane types……which would you chose?
Exactly what was I wrong about?
Please show me what I said that was โwrongโ.
Otherwise, thatโs both a lie and bluster.
You took the jab, Calli?
Or was it 11.5-41.5 months from now?
Numbers are sorubbery these days…
Yes. And you know exactly the circumstances under which I took it.
Should I have divorced my husband instead? Estranged my family? Terrified my parents?
[Snerk.]
Yair, righto. Only after he self-immolated…
Too easy
I would choose
Anyone not threatening to hang everyone they deem a traitor (aka anyone who dares disagrees with their lordful selves).
Donโt forget the โ45 haircut.
That was a corker.
You’re being gaslighted by a perpetual wanker calli.
You’re probably not that sporty choo choo….just as well
The pandemic of the vaccinated.
A little musical interlude from months ago.
say their names choo choo….say their names.
This great man has had it right from the very start, but he is dismissed by KD, not because of who he is, but who the interviewer is….no shit.
of course it is
Welding is still a bit a black art. And shithouse working conditions. Always felt sorry for the boilermakers in the Pilbara pulling on their leathers to crawl into some tiny hole. Confined space allowance didnโt really cut it.
You’ll be able to answer that yourself when you see your life suddenly pass before your eyes.
It’s all coming out
Of course you would.
At least you’ve still got your boat, calli.
Is Bosi running in the Federal election?
SHUT IT DOWN!!
FIRE THEM ALL!!
Go clean the ‘chocolate’ off the Kenworf transmission, St Ruth.
Are you?
Or just doing the sneering from the sidelines?
The zingers keep coming.
That is to say; A place at the trough and the obscene super and entitlement packages post โserviceโ.
Not to mention the inside running on where to put oneโs money to best advantage and โadvisoryโ positions with corporates.
Zipster:
This has been central to the discussions of the last couple of years – the ones who accept the moral obligation to refuse illegal orders have been, or are being removed from the organisations that are in desperate need of their moral guidance, and yes, correction.
No.
But, then again, I am not shooting my mouth off about “changin’ da nation”.
More importantly though, I haven’t set up a “party” website and put a donations button on my website.
…
Oh, and are you running?
Presumably not Emma Alberscreechi who sank without trace once the severance cheque cleared.
I am not afraid of death.
a lay-down misรจre
another day, another gibber-filled OT
Well, that’s easy for you to say, being able to swan across the Styx in your flash new boat.
Matrix get fucked
Hot riveting was down to a fine art, given everything from boilers to bridges was made of riveted steel.
You just needed a well oiled team.
Love this one with the gloved guy catching the rivets thrown at him out of the furnace:

A squadron of US tilt-rotor combat aircraft depicted in dozens of Hollywood blockbuster action movies has landed in the Northern Territory.
Known as the Red Dragons, the 10 Bell-Boeing V-22 Ospreys have been assigned to support this year’s Marine Rotational Force based in Darwin.
“The Red Dragons are excited to join 5th Marines as part of the MRF-D 2022 rotation,” Lieutenant Colonel Vanessa Clark, Marine’s aviation combat element commanding officer said on Monday.
that’s the spirit, you pathetic hypocrite
St ruth and Empty gibber.
The worst.
Youse are dum.
’twas unwise to allow the public to tell you what they really think, Jonathan.

I like the cut of James’ jib. Give it back right at them.
Sorry – that article attributed to James and Sophie Elsworth.
Tom:
If government had any sense, it would be paying for the inputs to get even the marginal areas cropped with the proviso of refund if the crops come in and cancellation of the debt if they don’t.*
But I doubt there’s any chance of government finding a large supply of common sense, or being able to provide funding in time.
*Ok, there are probably other supply factors – the most obvious being farmers and machinery, but nevertheless some effort could be made.
Unfortunately all the fat has been trimmed from private enterprise, and there’s little to be done.
Again.
Why set up the AustraliaOne Party and collect donations only to run as an independent at tue State election and not run a big field of candidates at the Federal Poll?
Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit
who handed out the red jelly beans for easter?
Not to mention very hard on the Internet where even NAZIs have trouble making themselves heard.
Presumably not Emma Alberscreechi who sank without trace once the severance cheque cleared.
Severance cheque? We wish. Just like all her fellow ex-presenters she would have a very generous defined benefit pension from the ABC. Tax payers are still funding their activism.
A song for Absinthe friends.
I think you got a free bottle of red cordial with every carton of Woodstock cans.
Yep. The children bicker. They’re bored and can’t go out to play.
Not sure Alberscreechi would have been around long enough for a Quentin Dumpster long goodbye.
