During the Arab Revolt of the late 1930’s, any Palestinians who supported partitioning the province was murdered on the orders of that barking mad fool, the Grand Mufti.

That would be the Grand Mufti who was chummy with H1tler, and blessed a Moooslim SS division?

I am not “supporting” any of those three groups. I merely pointed out that they have legitimate grievances. You may dismiss them, but there have been undeniable wrongs done to those they represent (albeit SU only started two years ago).

The truth is, most come here as adults to avoid heat from the cops or rival crims.

I mean, sure you can have a go at the Socialists for their beliefs and the history behind them, but at least they are coherent. The cookers’ belief structures ultimately lead to sovcit foolishness and Qanon rubbish. Yelling “PEEDO” through a loudspeaker from the other side of a lake at the Governor-General’s house while your mate waves an upside-down red national flag flag is not a legitimate political position, it’s just being a dickhead.

Cossack may have a legitimate viewpoint on some issues.
My point is that the organiser of an anti-mandate protest is under no obligation to hand the microphone to Cossack, Bosi or any other fruit-loop who shows up.
Bosi should run his own protest immediately afterwards.
Even with a head-start like that, I’ll bet he could clear the crowd quicker than a Moosley driving a truck through on a French public holiday crowd.

There’s always been a significant rural/urban divide. I’ve found it hard to get through to people that rural areas just flat out don’t have the services available cities do, you have to have a strong level of self reliance. Not wait on other people to pull your arse out of the fire.

It sounds like such a simple concept, but people genuinely can’t grasp it. There was a woman at my workplace who was like that. Could not believe that small towns might not actually have access to basic medical care at the drop of a hat.

BLM is based on the premise that Black people are routinely murdered by police.

American citizens are regularly murdered by police at traffic stops. This is undeniable, it happens over 100 times a year in America with a quarter of the victims being Black – twice the fraction of Blacks in the US population. That’s only 10% of the overall homicides by US police per year, but many of the most notorious recent blue-on-black killings were of this type.

BLM is not a perfect political movement – none of them are – but the things they are protesting are real.

BLM has a single purpose: to stop blacks from straying off the reservation and voting for Republicans. That was the main reason Trump had to be got rid of: he was wildly successful in getting blacks to change who they were voting for, thus threatening the electoral future of the Democratic Party.

No. I don’t believe your stat, but even if true, killed and murdered are totally different things. The use of the term “Traffic stops” is pure obfuscation. Violent, armed criminals are pulled over by police. Some of them resist and are killed. So what?

– twice the fraction of Blacks in the US population.

Black people break the law at a higher rate than whites. Therefore, it stands to reason that they are killed legally by cops at a higher rate. On the other hand, blacks kill each other at much, much higher rate than they are killed by cops. BLM don’t give a fuck. Only some black lives really matter to those grifters.

My observations on this:

Rural people tend to not have much reliance of government.

Rural people did buy the COVID hysteria, becoming particularly irritated at visitors from cities, but mainly because of the prospect of having some stupid lockdown imposed on them.

Rural police are generally better behaved because everyone knows where you live. Although there is a trend towards police not living in the areas that they police which is boosting the level of shit policing.

“One of the characteristics of the Palestinian national movement has been the Palestinians’ view of themselves as perpetual victims of others: Ottoman Turks, British officials, Zionists, Americans.”

Palestinian Arabs fail to recognize that they are victims of their own doing.

In Mark Twain’s account of his travels through Israel in the 1860’s he describes a land largely devoid of human habitation. The few Arabs he encountered were the wandering Bedouin with their goats, and the towns were chiefly occupied by the Jews.

The population began to grow in the 1870’s when the Russians pushed the Ottomans back to Constantinople and thousands of Balkan Muslims fled to Turkey. The Ottomans relocated them to the villages along the Jordan River, hence the “Palestinians” aren’t exclusively Arab, which is probably why the Arab states won’t accommodate them.

The pogroms started in Russia in the 1880’s which resulted in thousands of Jews migrating from Russia and eastern Europe to Israel. The wealthy American Jews provided financial assistance to these new settlers which resulted in Arabs from many surrounding countries moving to Israel as there was work available to them which gave them a better life.

The Ottoman censuses show that the Jews were always the majority in Israel, and that the people who call themselves the Palestinian Arabs are mainly recent arrivals who aren’t exclusively Arab, even Yasser Arafat was an Egyptian.

Risky job they have a lot of the time, and hardly surprising they’re ultra-cautious, and ready with weapons.

That’s an understatement. Frankly I’m amazed that they’re as restrained as they are given the shit that goes down. If you looked at the sum total of vehicle and badge cam footage you would conclude that it was perfectly reasonable to shoot someone as soon as they disobey a command to keep their hands on the steering wheel.

I couldn’t care less about free speech in and of itself.

I believe in reciprocity. The Golden Rule.

No commie should be allowed any rights that they say they don’t believe in. Indeed, it’s completely bizarre to me that leftists are allowed to own property or are presumed innocent or have the freedom to speak on any issue.

It’s extraordinary that so many people who believe in climate change own coastal property. The government should requisition it with zero (ie fair value (assuming climate change is real)) compensation.

It’s even more extraordinary that the Liberal government doesn’t make every Labor and Greens politician (save perhaps Andrew Barr) take 1000 vaccines every single day in order to be allowed to continue to work.

Hopefully the next time a country is formed the founders understand that anybody who calls for any cessation of rights should immediately lose those rights themselves.

So the Liberal Party in Victoria doesn’t even pretend to believe in free speech anymore…

“Bernie Finn faces Libs ousting over abortion stance
Alexandra Middleton

Outspoken Victorian MP Bernie Finn could be expelled from the Liberal Party over his controversial abortion views, just one week after resigning from his role in parliament as opposition whip.

Sky News revealed on Monday there were talks of ousting Mr Finn from the party, with three sources confirming a vote could be held as early as next Tuesday to decide Mr Finn’s future.

It comes just two weeks after Mr Finn posted controversial anti-abortion comments on social media.
Mr Finn took to Facebook to voice his “excitement” over leaked draft anti-abortion legislation in the United States, adding he hoped similar laws would “come here soon” and “killing babies is criminal”.

When approached for comment on the matter by Sky News, Mr Finn said: “I don’t know what grounds anybody would use to have me removed from the Liberal Party”.

He added Victorians should instead be concentrating on Premier Daniel Andrews’ “crimes” against his state.

Politicians on both sides in Victoria have previously voiced their opinions on Mr Finn’s abortion stance, with tourism minister Martin Pakula labelling his comments “appalling”.

Victorian opposition leader Matthew Guy – who Mr Finn said he hasn’t spoken to “for some months” – has also made it clear he was “sick” of Mr Finn’s comments.

Mr Finn has been part of the Liberal Party for nearly 42 years and a member of the Victorian Parliament for more than 20 years.”

So being anti-abortion and wanting to preserve life is “appalling”.

How long before Christians and Jews are imprisoned in Victoria?

Words fail me…and that unusual for me.

Yep.

The biggest divide in Australia is between the regions where the wealth is mostly produced and the metropolitan areas where it mostly gets consumed.

In fairness, that’s the history of civilisation. Rome did not produce its own wealth – it provided the intellectual and social and legal framework for the Empire, backed up by its military might.

To an extent we saw this with the Forgan-Smith govt in QLD, with the encouragement of the noted Anglo-Australian economist Colin Clark, which is largely why we are Australia’s most decentralised state. If it was a false flag, it was the biggest fail ever, people took their semi auto shotgun money and brought scoped rifles in .223 and .308 etc. If I was Dictator Dan I would have much preferred they kept their shotguns….

I heard one bloke turned in some old Bren gun barrels he had lying around. Actually he allegedly turned in many more than he had lying around as the money was good. He owned a CNC metalworking shop. 🙂

And speaking of plod…

FLAT WHITE

Sergeant Bruno’s big mistake
James Macpherson / The Spectator

A Victorian policeman is under investigation for posting online that there are only two genders.

And so he should be!

Everyone knows there are actually three genders: Males (pronouns he/him), Females (pronouns she/her), and Narcissists (pronouns me!/me!/me!).

The Age newspaper reported this week that 62-year-old Sergeant Bruno Staffieri was interviewed by officers from Professional Standards Command over an online comment he made to an officer working in the Gender Equality and Inclusion Command.

Staffieri reportedly wrote:

‘So you are doing tertiary education studying genders. I’ll make it easy for you to pass … there are 2.’

Someone call triple-zero!

You have to hand it to Victoria Police; they know what constitutes inappropriate behaviour.

Shoot peaceful protesters with rubber bullets? No consequences.

Pepper spray law-abiding citizens? No consequences.

Harass old ladies sitting in a park during Covid lockdown? No consequences.

Slam people into the pavement for not wearing a mask? No consequences.

But if you dare to state a biological fact, everyone – from the Deputy Commissioner down – wets their pants.

Sergeant Staffieri should demand to know how many genders there are so that he can be more accurate in future.

Google doesn’t know, so we’ll wait for the answer.

Oh, and if you’re the victim of an actual offence, you’ll have to wait too. Police are busy attending to thought crimes.

Staffieri, who has been an officer for more than 35 years and is close to retirement, could lose his job because of the online comments.

This is not the first time Staffieri has upset police command with views that, until five minutes ago, were entirely unremarkable.

Staffieri was also investigated over his public criticism of the government’s decision to cancel Australia Day and Anzac Day celebrations last year, but allow the Gay Pride March in St Kilda to proceed.

‘So the next time Australians are sent out to fight a war, maybe we can send out the 8,000 that marched today … and try to stop the enemy by waving feathers and brightly coloured boas at them,’ Staffieri reportedly posted on May 17, 2021.

‘Triple-zero. What’s your emergency?’

‘Sergent Staffieri objected to the Mardi Gras.’

‘Does anyone need help?’

‘Yes. We are all very hurty.’

‘Does Sergeant Staffieri have a weapon?’

‘It’s his words. His words! Words are violence.’

‘Stay in a safe space and practice socially distancing until a squad car full of thought police arrives.’

In June last year, Victoria Police Deputy Commissioner Neil Paterson posted on Yammer, the force’s internal communication platform, that…

‘Victoria Police is proud to have been recognised as a silver employer at the 2021 Australian LGBTQ+ inclusion awards.’

Staffieri reportedly responded by posting:

‘Yes, I agree. Great achievement. But if the public knew how much time, effort, and taxpayer dollars went into this, they would also be demanding why we didn’t get a gold.’

That’s pretty funny.

Paterson didn’t think so. According to The Age, he defended the campaign and denied it had received significant public funding.

Staffieri responded:

‘Sir, I totally value and respect your opinion and your rank, I simply ask that you value and respect mine.’

Paterson fired a broadside back at Staffieri…

‘I don’t respect or value your views as they are offensive and there is no place for those views in Victoria Police… Either limit your comments on Yammer to comments that are respectful of everyone or consider your employment options.’

So in Daniel Andrews’ Victoria, it’s an honest police officer who tells the truth who is threatened with the sack for being in possession of what police hierarchy call ‘those views’

Maybe, if Sergeant Staffieri flies the Chinese flag outside his station, all will be forgiven.

Ben Roberts-Smith loses ‘leaked email’ challenge against ex-wife

Perry Duffin
Senior Court Reporter

12:14PM May 16, 2022

Ben Roberts-Smith has been denied an appeal that could have seen him grill his ex-wife about whether she leaked his private emails to his critics in the media.

Mr Roberts-Smith is suing Nine newspapers for a series of articles that accused him of war crimes, bullying and domestic violence.

The Victoria Cross recipient denies every allegation against him and has faced off against his accusers in court including SAS soldiers, his ex-wife Emma Roberts and his alleged former ‘mistress’ who is known as Person 17.

The soldier‘s lover had appeared on the doorstep of the family home, in April 2018, and thrown Ms Roberts’ life “into chaos”, she would tell the court in evidence.

Mr Roberts-Smith and Ms Roberts separated in 2020 as his legal action worked through the Federal Court.

He launched a second lawsuit in mid-2021, against his former wife, accusing her of accessing his private emails to Nine either personally or through her best friend.

Ms Roberts denied his claims.

A Federal Court judge, in January this year, accepted Ms Roberts‘ denials and ruled Mr Roberts-Smith’s lawyers could not cross-examine her in the stand.

Mr Roberts-Smith applied for a chance to appeal but Justice Michael Wigney, on Monday, refused the soldier‘s bid.

“Mr Roberts- Smith’s real complaint appears to be that the primary judge did not weigh up the evidence in a way which favoured him,” Justice Wigney said in his judgment on Monday.

“The decision of the primary judge is not attended with sufficient doubt to warrant reconsideration by the Full Court.”

Justice Wigney also noted that Ms Roberts‘ evidence in the main trial, against Nine, touched on her access to the emails. If anything significant changed as a result of her evidence, the judge said, Mr Roberts-Smith could launch other legal appeals.

It means the original judge‘s decision will stand and Ms Roberts will not have to step into the witness box to answer questions about the emails.

Mr Roberts-Smith‘s lawyers, in the 2021 lawsuit, claimed Ms Roberts had access to an email connected with his public speaking company, RS Group, and suspected either she or her best friend Danielle Scott had leaked its contents.

Stop lying fatboy.
Two simple scenarios.
A. The police are following a car because they clocked that car going 70 in a 60 zone. The driver pulls over, appears to get something out of the glovebox, and turns towards the approaching cop.
B. The police are following a car because there’s been a report that the car has been stolen by a violent felon. The driver pulls over, appears to get something out of the glovebox, and turns towards the approaching cop.
In which scenario is it more likely that the cop will shoot (rightly or wrongly)?
Skin colour’s got nothing to do with the cop’s judgment in either case. It’s just a simple fact that violent felons are more likely to get shot. So if demographic group X is overrepresented among violent felons demographic group X is likely to be overrepresented in “shot by police” stats.

There is no point whatever in using logic, reason or anything citing numbers or calculation to m0nty. You should have noticed by now.

Poor m0nty has his own method of arriving at truth, and it involves polling his social circle. The idea that one might use numerical evidence and reason is totally alien to him. If you point out that his argument is bullshit, he’ll either repeat it or throw out more bullshit.

Chris Kenny just had Craig Kelly on and rightly took him to task about the ads indicating that Kelly will be next PM. “Buckleys and None”. Kenny offered free lawn mowing at the lodge if he wins. After interview called Kelly and the teals “loons”.

I saw a full page ad in Herald Sun with the heading Our Next PM with Kelly’s face full page. Simply delusional and shows Palmer is totally out of touch if he thinks his party can form Government.

It is rare that I read paper edition of the Oz and the Courier Mail but saw both today. Full Pages 2-3 all Palmer ads with page 3 mainly attacking PM with quotes from Barnaby Joyce.

If Kelly did not have to defend the ridiculous PM ads he could have spent the interview talking about vote for Palmer candidates who perhaps might have a chance to help with balance of power if got some seats.

Dont get me wrong as I would like to see Kelly remain in Parliament. However Palmer has just been totally delusional in relation to their ads.

Western Australia’s COVID-19 cases in hospital surge past 300 amid calls for restrictions to be reintroduced

300 people are in hospital with (note: not ‘due to’ – this data isn’t released) Covid and the medical Nazis want to mask us up again. Probably support another lockdown, too. Why not?

Western Australia is still sitting far below the expected peak in daily case numbers, which Mr McGowan said could reach around 25,000 — more than double today’s figures — according to the Chief Health Officer.

The expected peak was 10,000/day a few weeks ago and the media monomaniacally focussed on the fact that we didn’t *quite* get there. This is why the government doesn’t release its ‘modelling’. Doesn’t matter what happens, the state will always claim ‘well, this is in line with our modelling which we won’t show you – aren’t we doing a brilliant job?’. Absolute bullshit.

Who knew that Scott Morrison has taken the Liberal Party to the far-right? Well apparently he has….

Example One, yesterday I waited outside my home for a friend to collect me. An elderly man, who I vaguely know, walked past and stopped for a chat. We started talking about the election and he told me he was supporting Princess Allegra because Morrison has taken the Liberal Party to the far-right. I kid you not.

Example Two, speaking to another friend last night, she told me how she went to a party on Saturday night and whilst she was talking to a couple of people, she overheard a group of men saying how Scott Morrison has taken the Liberal Party to the far-right. I kid you not.

Example Three, today at work some of my colleagues started talking about the election. I don’t join the conversation and listening to them I felt my hackles rising. They were talking about how Scott Morrison has taken the Liberal Party to the far-right. I kid you not.
