NSW police are investigating after a female officer was captured pointing her loaded firearm at a male officer, who was pointing his own firearm to his head.

These people walk around the community with loaded guns and the power to use deadly force…..

Christianity, being grounded in historical events, is eminently falsifiable.

I am not sure that is strictly true, in the scientific sense. Belief in the divinity, miracles, and resurrection of Christ requires faith, and is therefore not falsifiable.

More than 19,000 refugees in Australia will finally be able to qualify for permanent residency after a decade on temporary protection visas, in a major policy change the federal government will unveil in the new year.

The change will mean the refugees would be able to freely leave the country and return, to access secure work or full social security benefits and to send for their families to come to Australia.

Now that Dr Phelps has criticised the safety of the vaccine should we start a petition to AHPRA to have her deregistered?!

Meanwhile 2GB will keep taking the money and promoting outdated vaccines without giving any warning about adverse effects.

If she promoted the vaccine after her and her partners injuries then that is incredible. Plus why did she wait well over a year to say anything. If she had said something at the time I very much doubt AHPRA would have had the guts to discipline her. Her case does show how evil the silencing of the Dr’s was.

NYC Students Refuse To Leave Campus Building Until They’re Given All “A” Grades (17 Dec)

As part of their list of demands, students at the private New York City arts school The New School (TNS) are occupying a campus building until instructors agree to give As for the semester.

According to the Instagram account New School Occupied, the students occupied the TNS University Center on Dec. 8 in support of faculty on strike for higher wages and better healthcare. While the strike ended on December 10, the occupants published a new set of demands that day that included A’s for all students, the resignation of school leadership, and the dissolution of the Board of Trustees.

“We demand that every student receives a final course grade of A as well as the removal of I/Z grades for the Fall 2022 semester,” the demand letter read. “Attendance shall have no bearing on course grade.”

‘Human dignity was violated’: Dutch wrestle with colonial past in saying ‘sorry’ for slave trade
Rob Harris
By Rob Harris
Updated December 20, 2022 — 6.19pmfirst published at 3.52pm

London: While the 17th century is widely regarded as the golden age in Dutch history, when it accumulated great wealth from trade and helped fund the likes of artists Rembrandt and Johannes Vermeer, its darker side still casts a long shadow.

The evils which fuelled prosperity generated by seafaring traders, slavery and iron-fisted colonial rulers were brought into sharp focus amid global protests two years ago, sparked by the killing of George Floyd.

An advisory panel assembled by the Dutch government later urged it to acknowledge that the century transatlantic slave trade amounted to crimes against humanity and to apologise for the Dutch role.

On Monday (Tuesday AEDT), Prime Minister Mark Rutte did just that.

“For centuries under Dutch state authority, human dignity was violated in the most horrific way possible,” he said in a 20-minute speech at the country’s National Archives in The Hague.

“It is true that nobody alive today bears any personal guilt for slavery… [however] the Dutch state bears responsibility for the immense suffering that has been done to those that were enslaved and their descendants.”

The Dutch empire of the 16th and 17th centuries became one of the world’s most dominant colonial powers, with outposts in five continents: Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. Historians estimate Dutch traders shipped more than 600,000 enslaved Africans to the Americas, mostly to Brazil and the Caribbean.

Enslaved people were violently forced to work under harsh and dehumanising conditions on plantations. And for more than 250 years in its colonies in the regions now known as Indonesia, South Africa, Curaçao, New Guinea – and beyond – enslaved men, women and children were subjected to extreme physical, mental and sexual violence.

Rutte promised the government would establish a €200 million ($318 million) fund for initiatives that would help tackle the legacy of slavery in the Netherlands, as well as a museum. The move marked somewhat of a backdown for the conservative leader, who had previously refused to deliver the apology, arguing that it could start a “polarising” debate in the Netherlands.

He said he’d experienced a personal “change in thinking” and said he was wrong to have thought that the Netherlands’ role in slavery was “a thing of the past”.

While the Dutch take pride in their naval history and prowess as a trading nation, there have been growing calls for children to be taught more about the role the Dutch West India Company and the Dutch East India Company’s slave trade played in key sources of national wealth.

But critics of Rutte have complained there was insufficient consultation on the apology and the way it had been “pushed through” by the Dutch cabinet had a “colonial feel” to it.

Most westerners would shrivel up at the idea of ‘something’ not being available at a moment’s notice but Russians aren’t like that – they simply shrug and move on to the next thing. They stuck me into a Covid isolation till their test came back when I presented at Emergency with query CHD which turned out to be gastritis. Gastritis can be a Covid symptom, so that’s why I was isolated, all hooked up to heart monitors but without a nurse call switch. At around the same time Cassie was stuck in a Covid isolation ward alone, with her knees as the issue that brought her to hospital in the first place.

They are still treating Covid as something different to any other URTI. This will go on for years.

Seventy years of isolation has had a profound impact on the Russian psyche and their capacity to either, do without, or manufacture their own. In fact Monty, if you knew any Russians, they would tell you they are proud of their national capacity to overcome western sanctions.

But I’ll tell you what, I’m get tired of reading crap by assorted MSM journalists telling us how the Russian economy is collapsing, sanctions are biting hard, the people are all depressed and miserable….. yet few, if any, of those journalists have actually set foot in Russia, and certainly not in the past eight months, but rely on some ‘newswire’ which they regurgitate and present as facts.

As in prince. Let me guess, you’re sleeping beauty.

Alarmism has legal creds where it has been held to be consistent with religious beliefs in employment rights disputes.

More generally Man-made global warming [AGW] was always a reworking of the Eden myth where the paradise of nature was despoiled by the use of fossil fuels. And just like Eden where God banished Adam and Eve to a harsh unnatural world AGW says the backlash from nature to humanity’s abuse of nature will be equally harsh.

In Christianity there has been a dispute about AGW. On one side is the more progressive forms which accept AGW and interpret the role of Christianity as assisting the people who will be affected by AGW. The 2006 Evangelical Climate Initiative for instance regarded the IPCC as foundational in developing its position on AGW; sort of like an updated version of the 10 Commandments.

On the other side has been the traditional Christian view as typified by the Cornwall Alliance. This approach took the literal Biblical view that God is sovereign over creation and therefore humans can do no permanent damage to what God has created. This view also advocates that God entrusted the earth to human dominion and we should not be afraid of economic development or other uses of human creativity.

See this discussion thread on these points at Judith Curry.

One only has to look at the fervour of the disciples, particularly the youngins, of this bullshit to see it is a religious position hiding behind pseudo science.

You’re a precious prick aren’t you.

“Former federal MP Dr Kerryn Phelps has revealed she and her wife both suffered serious and ongoing injures from Covid vaccines, while suggesting the true rate of adverse events is far higher than acknowledged due to underreporting and “threats” from medical regulators.”

For going on three years Phelps has been one of the loudest, shrillest and screechiest advocates for school closures, lockdowns and vaccination mandates. Last year she was on Twitter fawning over Andrews and dumping on the NSW government for not extending the lockdown here in NSW. She’s a member (or was, not sure whether she still is) of the Australian branch of a pseudo scientific medical activist group called “SAGE”, full of very progressive, climate and Covid obsessed nutters.

The damage was done long ago, Howard just greased the skids.

Worth noting:
Fraser was a Lefty, he led a Liberal Government.
Howard took the Liberal Party pretty far Right, the Electorate didn’t want it until 13 years of Labor had wrecked the joint.

Howard got the economy going via a building boom which wrecked the inner Cities, plus he took most of our Liberties away by stealth.

Finally, we’d hade enough and booted him, it took another 15 years to boot his Extreme Conservatism, yet there are Labor shills on this site screeching that the Liberal Party needs to go even further to the Right?

SMH – ‘Not anti-vaxxers’: Dr Kerryn Phelps says she suffered COVID vaccine injury, calls for more research

By Rachel Clun – Updated December 20, 2022 — 6.40pm first published at 6.28pm

Former federal MP Dr Kerryn Phelps says she and her partner experienced vaccine injury, calling for tests for long COVID and vaccine injuries as well as more research on the long-term harms of the coronavirus and immunisation side effects.

Phelps said that until there were vaccines that prevented transmission, stronger public health messaging and measures were imperative to protect the vulnerable – including those with existing health conditions and people who could not have the vaccine.

In a submission to an ongoing parliamentary inquiry on long COVID Phelps said she and her wife had both been injured after receiving COVID vaccinations.

She said her wife, Jackie Stricker-Phelps, suffered long-term symptoms including ongoing nerve pain and fatigue following her first injection, while Phelps herself experienced symptoms including breathlessness and irregular blood pressure following her second shot.

In an interview, the former Australian Medical Association president and medical practitioner said more research was vital to understanding both the disease and vaccine injury as the pandemic continues.

“People who have vaccine injuries are not anti-vaxxers, because they have turned up to have vaccines. They’re wanting to protect themselves against the serious consequences of COVID,” she said.

There were nearly 111,700 COVID cases reported in the week to December 13, an average of nearly 16,000 cases a day. The number of hospitalisations rose by 8.9 per cent in the same week to a seven-day rolling average of nearly 3300.

Phelps said a “significant number” of people were suffering with long COVID and it was clear that reinfection was a serious risk factor. In her submission, she pointed to World Health Organisation estimates that between 10 and 20 per cent of people who contract COVID were left with lasting symptoms.

“We are facing a catastrophic toll of disability due to long COVID with broad implications for families, community, the health system, the workforce, the economy and all levels of government,” she said in her submission.

“People who are suffering from long COVID, people who are medically vulnerable despite vaccination and people who are unable to have further vaccines are bearing an unfair burden of the pandemic as it is allowed to spread through the community in the absence of effective public health measures.”

Phelps said the ongoing pandemic response could not be a vaccine-only approach, and needed to include better ventilation at schools, a zero transmission approach for hospitals, mandatory isolation periods, access to better masks, and improved public health messaging.

Nearly three years since the first case of COVID was detected in Australia, Phelps said the recognition of long COVID was still emerging and the understanding around vaccine injuries would also take time to emerge.

She noted in her submission that for many vaccine-injured people, the symptoms were similar to long COVID, including brain fog and fatigue.

“These people would be an important subset or control group for studies looking into the pathophysiology, causes of and treatments for long COVID,” she wrote.

In the interview, Phelps said working out how to treat people suffering the long-term implications of long COVID and vaccine injury was vital.

“One of the things that we need to do is to make sure that we get tests, we haven’t got specific investigations, which will say this is the long COVID test, or this is the vaccine injury test,” she said.

More than 64 million vaccine doses have been administered across the country, as of November 16, and since December 2021 people injured by one have been able to make a claim for compensation through the vaccine claims scheme.

A Services Australia spokesperson said as of November 23, the department has received 3100 applications, and 79 have been approved for claims totalling $3.9 million.

“The assessment process can be complex, and claims may also be reviewed independently by medical and other appropriately qualified experts,” the spokesperson said.

Phelps’ submission was number 510 of 531 to the parliamentary health committee’s inquiry into long COVID and repeated COVID infections, chaired by Labor’s Dr Mike Freelander.

Phelps said the inquiry was a “real opportunity” for an informed conversation about planning for the future with the coronavirus.

When they made the video, supposing it’s not deep fake, it had to be at least 8.00 pm at night. And they were seperate from the third Train. But so far the official narrative has all three in a continual siege culminating in them all being murdered (by open admission of the media) circa 10.30 pm.

If it’s not a purely faked event it looks like they were harassed, the original gunfight coming a lot earlier than Monday, then the kids set up to be sacrificed by the deep state goons after quite a long time for staging considerations.

But seeing is not believing in these situations. Once you know it’s fake and homosexual you have to look upon these things like it’s a magic trick. In the end they can show you any movie they want to.

Virtually every policy malaise Australia finds itself being mired in today has its roots in decisions Howard and his Cabinet took. Magnetic reversals actually happen average around 400,000 years from memory. At the moment I know the earth is well past that. The north Magnetic pole is doing some funky things lately so what was talked about when I was a student that we or future generations may observe one could actually be happening.

Beazley defends frontier war expansion
Laura Placella

New Australian War Memorial chair Kim Beazley has defended the extent to which the memorial’s expansion will recognise the frontier wars, but says more needs to be done by others to educate Australians on the conflict.

Mr Beazley, who was appointed as chair in early December, said the $500m expansion of the memorial had more than “ample justification”.

However, when asked whether it is sufficient that less than 2 per cent of the expansion is predicted to be dedicated to the frontier wars, Mr Beazley told 7.30: “I think you will find that it is very substantial when it is opened and we all get a chance to see it.”

The frontier wars describe the violent conflicts between Indigenous Australians and non-Inigenous settlers during the colonisation of Australia.

“There’s an awful lot that that memorial covers and … if this is all there is going to be in terms of memorial, if you like, in Australia, then that is totally inadequate. There actually has to be much more than that but that is not the responsibility of the war memorial. They must do their bit and I think it will elevate the frontier wars in the public consciousness massively. It will be the first thing they see when they come to contemplate the war memorial. But we need to have that recognition around the country. We’ve got to enter an era of truth telling and that has got to be part of it.”

The Australian War Memorial has previously said it was up to the National Museum of Australia to tell the story of the frontier wars.

Mr Beazley confirmed the memorial, after the expansion is complete, will begin with a “pre-federation wars collection”.

“Obviously, one of the most critical elements of that is going to be the part that is devoted to the frontier wars. It’s enormously important that we do that. It’s enormously important that that gets acknowledged,” he said.

O.K, so there WAS a “Frontier War.” “First Nations” were conquered so utterly as few races have ever been, and be treated as such, with the full blessing of international law. “Land Rights” and “Native Title” are finished. Treaty? What’s that?

Ben Davidson thinks he’s narrowed down the first pole shift in 12000 years to come knock us around between 2035 and 2049. It may take a catastrophe of that scope to get us out from the grip of this communism 2.0

that explains why youtube is showing me these micronova and pole shift videos. no idea what to make of it, might still be alive by then.

I am reliably informed getting a dog grooming appointment is now harder than getting your child into private school around here.

“Magnetic reversals actually happen average around 400,000 years from memory…..”

Right but Davidson is talking about a real pole shift. He is not talking about magnetic north and south but true north. Since the planet bulges out at the equator the subsequent reshaping could be very damaging.

Armadillo

If it happened it would be gradual, a few thousand years.

We are only here for a “blink of an eyelid” as far as history goes.

Once your dead, your great grandchildren will probably struggle to remember your name. Any generation after that, no chance. Unless you were famous or something.

Here’s a little trick. My father had a brother-in-law that was a Butcher in Bondi. Mad Irishman that loved a drink. He owned the butchery, and was always on the Rum. He loved to gamble. Sadly, Dads sister and him passed away within a year of each other. They were really good people. She worked for the local parish priest. Cook/cleaner and whatever was required. They were always laughing or singing.

They didn’t have any children.

What they did was set up a “Trust Fund” for their estate. But they spread it widely. Relatives, friends, church, charities whatever. Not big amounts. Enough to make a Christmas nice for the kids. Or for the parents who might be struggling keeping up with kids endless needs. Back to school. Uniforms. Shoes. Text books. Stationary. I’m the youngest of seven.

The last cheque came in about the early 2010’s for about $42. The Solicitors took their cut over 30 years. All good. But here’s the point…….

You can’t take it with you……

However, what you can do is set up your future generations. A cheque in the mail at Christmas time. Even if you have been dead for 30 years.

They will remember you.

Or at least their kids will ask about you. Even though you are long dead.

I am in awe of the belly crawling gutlessness of H B Bear. All cause mortality up 18 per cent and climbing. And the idiot still disputes the intention of the perpetrators?

As if the killers will restrict themselves to one method only when they have that murderous intent? Not enough salt in the diet Humphrey? The testicles packing up and time for hormonal help?
