Funny how the moment people speak of contagion everybody automatically becomes as dishonest as Monty.

I never said Jesus didn’t believe in sickness, Rosie, calli etc.

I said he didn’t believe in contagion. Which is obviously true. At least if you accept the Gospel as being an account(s) of Jesus.

And yet you lied and pretended I said the former. You just couldn’t help yourselves.

The moment vaccines and contagion comes up, everybody turns into Monty.

It’s disgusting.

Why can’t any of you just debate honestly?

It’s alright I’ve already said why. Vaccines are disgusting. You can’t defend them without being evil.

And babies don’t get a choice to be poisoned. None of them want it. None of them are better off for it. The parents are doing it because their child’s health is secondary to missing out on dinner party invitations. 100% of parents who get them are only doing it because of malice or cowardice.

I won’t say anything about the leather pants.

Nor will I. 😀

On the other hand there’s quite a lot of evidence that Mr “Wagner” was who his photo suggests he was, and that he had interesting beliefs, lets say. The Rodnover cult is very interesting. Not only in Russia either, I saw there’s an extensive series of Rodnover groups in Poland also. Given the social flux in eastern Europe after the wall fell it seems logical that the people would be searching for meaning – some found Slavic mysticism. One of the things I like about Vlad is his encouragement of the Orthodox Church. I don’t think he believes in the gospel, but like a predecessor he recognized the social and cultural strength it could give Russia.

Scanning through this afternoon’s festivities.

The ‘lookit the pickcha’ model of identification is a method that has been tried and failed for as long as there have been photographs.

DNA, dependent on where you take it from may be compromised by transfer.

It’s teeth through forensic odontology, or the Rolls-Royce version – prints. Anything else used to try and identify someone has an asterisk next to it.

Even assuming it was a scrupulously fair election, I just can’t see any way that stacks up.

Genuinely interested to hear the alternate view.

The msn keeps mentioning the gorilla as the go-to girl as a matchup against Trump and how terrific she would be. I find it hard to see that. She appears to be as lazy as the husband, so I can’t see her trudging through snow and ice, seeing they’re comfortably well off now (being part of the.1%). She could Zoom the entire campaign like the corrupt dickhead did, but I’m not sure that would work this time around.

One more thing: I’m no religious scholar, although I’d be really, really good at it. I think you’ve totally misunderstood Jesus’ intentions. 2000 plus years ago, those who contracted leprosy were treated like “lepers”. They were totally cast out of the house, the local neighbourhood, and everything else. They were sent to leper colonies and told to never leave the place again. They would have starved to death and lived in filthy conditions. That’s what he was protesting about. I’m pretty sure that if there was a cure, the big guy wouldn’t have baulked.

Cassie this morning.

Hartford College is a private Roman Catholic boy’s school for Years 5-12, and the school is based in Sydney’s South East. The school is growing rapidly.

The founders will have to guard against their own success.
What I mean is, if they start getting good academic results through hard work, they will attract parents who want those results.
Nek minnit, some of those parents start trying to hollow out the core Christian values of the school. Hopefully they are strong enough to tell them to take their kids out if they don’t want to adhere to the values which were prominently displayed when they signed up.

The msn keeps mentioning the gorilla as the go-to girl as a matchup against Trump and how terrific she would be. I find it hard to see that.

If she were to be the final nominee, the setup would be JOE! at the convention, followed by a “last minute” issue of some sort (plenty to choose from) leading to her drafting as an unwilling “healer”.

She would neatly avoid about a year of talking whatever passes for policy these days, would speak entirely in platitudes, be “Obama!” and “First Woman President!” and thus walk it in I think. Given something vaguely approaching a fair fight, she is, if handled correctly, the Dem’s best shot.

Agreed, it does all depend on the timing… she certainly isn’t going to be up for anything like a traditional campaign, as you rightly point out. Golly gee whillickers, that really IS for proles! But a late switch would be more coronation than campaign. Think a variation on Joe’s basement and you will get the idea.

All of the noise around Joe is, at worst, not antithetical to a Michelle scenario. And as the alternative is Newsom, well…

Perfect!

‘Put it on a mug’: One Nation leader Pauline Hanson offers advice to Donald Trump following release of historic mug shot (Sky News, 25 Aug)

In his first post to Twitter (or X) since 2021, Mr Trump published the image alongside the words, “ELECTION INTERFERENCE” and “NEVER SURRENDER!”.

Ms Hanson quickly replied to the post, calling for Mr Trump to “put it on a mug” alongside a thumbs-up emoji.

Following a stint in politics in the late 1990s, Ms Hanson was jailed after being found guilty of electoral fraud, a charge that was later quashed.

In total she spent 11 weeks, or 78 days, in a Queensland prison.

On One Nation’s website, the “Pauline Hanson Mugshot 11oz Coffee Mug” sell for $10 each, or a six-pack can be purchased for $48.

Good advice from one who earned her stripes the exact same way.

You’re making one huge assumption in all that. You’re assuming the corrupt kiddie-sniffing degenerate can make it to the time he resigns and gives the gorilla his blessing. It’s not certain he can.

There’s also this to consider: if the heat gets hotter in terms of what he and the rest of the family have done with squelching money from foreigners to sell “the brand”, he could very well call it a day, pardon himself and the rest of the family, while claiming his health is failing and he has to leave office. In that situation, the laughing hyena becomes president. That’s not ideal, but if it came to the crunch, I think that rabbit could be pulled out if it became a case of family survival.

Things that never happen when using cheques:
a) the power going off & you can’t use the cheque for a day/week.
b) the cheque not clearing because it “exceeds daily transfer limit”
c) the cheque cannot be used because the phone/internet is out of service.
d) a scammer who used the name of a regular supplier banking your cheque, because though you posted it to the new address they provided, the cheque can be banked only by the person/company you actually bought goods from.

John Stapleton’s book (“Australia Breaks Apart”) on Australia’s appalling record in response to Covid has just arrived in the mail. I look forward to reading it, as I have previously read a review some months ago. He is one of the very few who enunciates the utter shock some of us suffered when the government attack on values and freedoms we accepted as inviolable occurred. The following is a summary of the reasons he felt compelled to write his book.

The humanitarian crimes committed by Australian authorities against their own citizens, beginning in early 2020, will live on in infamy, but it is the people themselves who create a nation’s history.

On the 12th of February 2022, the largest gathering of Australians in the nation’s history marched on the National Parliament in Canberra to protest the totalitarianism of the Australian Government, chanting “Sack Them All, Sack Them All”.

Crowd numbers are notoriously difficult to calculate and prone to distortion, but whatever the number, no politician, intelligence agency, police force or political strategist in Australia failed to notice that a massive number of people marched on the nation’s capital, with a remarkable amount of good cheer, jubilance and camaraderie; character traits which the nation’s leaders had failed to show in the years of authoritarian derangement.

Between 2020 and 2022 Australia was gripped by a madness which was spiritual, administrative, political, social and judicial in its dimensions. Australians who stood up against the rising tide of tyranny found themselves pepper sprayed, bashed by police, fined and imprisoned in dictatorial abuses which made headlines around the world, a warning to the world against Covid overreach.

A nation which once prided itself on its laissez faire approach to life and the friendly, easy going nature of its population lay besmirched by a descent into totalitarianism. All the systems Australians had come to rely on failed them at their time of greatest need, every last one of them: the mainstream media, the social media platforms, the legal, medical and academic professions, politicians, bureaucrats, the police, the military and the nation’s intelligence agencies.

Australia’s democracy proved virus thin.

Retired news reporter John Stapleton shines a light on one of the darkest episodes in the Australian story. Australia Breaks Apart is a fine demonstration of the old saying, journalism is the first draft of history.

Senator Linda Reynolds’ early win in defamation case against David Sharaz, Brittany Higgins’ fiance
Anthony AndersonNCA NewsWire
Fri, 25 August 2023 4:41PM

Liberal Senator Linda Reynolds won’t have to fork out hundreds of thousands of dollars as a security on potential legal costs for Brittany Higgins’ fiance in her defamation lawsuit against him.

WA Supreme Court Justice Marcus Solomon on Friday ruled against a security for costs order, in which a plaintiff is ordered by the court to put up cash or collateral to show a defendant’s legal costs can be covered in the event the defamation suit fails.

Senator Reynolds, who is from Western Australia, is suing former Canberra journalist and media adviser David Sharaz over a series of five social media posts the Senator alleges defamed her character.

She has also taken similar legal action against Brittany Higgins, who is Mr Sharaz’s fiance, and Ms Reynolds’ former staffer.

In a hearing for the security for costs order, held in the same court on Thursday, Mr Sharaz’s lawyer Jason MacLaurin argued Senator Reynolds could be made “financially uncomfortable” by her other defamation suit, and potential future suits that could be brought against Federal Minister Tanya Plibersek and fringe political commentator Shane Dowling.

Mr MacLaurin argued the cost of multiple legal battles, compounded by any potential losses in court, would make it difficult for Senator Reynolds to cover his client’s costs

Absolutely word perfect! That was fun. I got to meet my 99 yr old great aunt and her 97 yr old sister in Kingston. Formidable ladies. We didn’t have a cookout but I was allowed to go to an Appleton’s Rum corporate gig, since my distant cousin was a rep of theirs. They had a serious steel band. It was epic. I don’t know what it is about Democrat wives. Jill always looks like a sofa and Michelle seemed to wear strangely colourful garbage bags. Shapeless and weird. It was surreal. IN-DEPTH: Top Law Schools Promote Ditching the Constitution
Think tanks contend that the radicalization of attorney education threatens American freedom in a never-before-seen way

Law professors at elite schools are open about their disdain for the U.S. Constitution, the researchers found.

“They’re saying they want to get rid of the Constitution—they’re making no secret about it,” said J. Christian Adams, president and general counsel of the Public Interest Legal Foundation. He’s also worked for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

Hans von Spakovsky, a senior legal fellow at The Heritage Foundation’s Edwin Meese III Center and former DOJ counsel, agreed.

The radicalization of law schools is a threat to freedom not previously encountered in the nation’s history, Mr. von Spakovsky said.

“In fact, some of them are very direct in teaching kids that they need to be revolutionaries, according to these courses that these law school students are taking,” he told The Epoch Times.
Pitching the Ditching of the Constitution

In 2022, Ryan D. Doerfler and Samuel Moyn—who teach law at Harvard and Yale universities, respectively—wrote a New York Times editorial titled “The Constitution Is Broken and Should Not Be Reclaimed.”

In it, they wrote that the struggle over the Constitution has proven to be a dead end for liberals. They called the founding document “undemocratic” and “inadequate.”

“The real need is not to reclaim the Constitution, as many would have it, but instead to reclaim America from constitutionalism,” they wrote in the piece.

The writers reasoned that it would be far better if liberal legislators had the power to make a case for abortion and labor rights on their own merits without having “to bother with the Constitution.”

That way of thinking has pushed law schools increasingly to the political left over the past decade, Mr. Adams said.

“The stuff they’re teaching now is straight-up Marxist. There’s a big difference from just 10 years ago.”

Mr. von Spakovsky and Mr. Adams have been sounding the alarm about what’s happening within the country’s law schools through articles examining law school curricula.

Just watching Letters from Iwo Jima, the Clint Eastwood movie viewing the eponymous battle from the Japanese side.

I had a quick squid at the ‘Trivia’ section on IMDB, hoping to see an explanation of why the suiciding Japanese soldiers were ramming their grenades on their helmets before clutching it to their breasts – I guess that it, according to design, reduces the time delay.

Anyway, I came across this tidbit.

Director Spike Lee publicly criticized Clint Eastwood for the lack of African-American actors in this movie and Flags of Our Fathers (2006). Eastwood countered with the historical fact that the US military was segregated at the time, and black soldiers were generally kept away from the front lines.

Spike Lee strikes me as a small minded mole-like creature whose understanding of the whole world is the unlit, closed in, damp tactile world of Black ghettoes.

I would not be surprised to discover that he thinks it a form of white abuse that the Polish Jews appropriated the word ‘ghetto’ from the crumbling Black urban neighbourhoods in the US.

Read this: Then read what Musk had to say about it. Not only are they evil, they’re unfathomably stupid too.

The Biden Department of ‘Justice’ is suing Elon Musk’s SpaceX for refusing to hire refugees and asylum seekers.

Musk should change his name to Hunter Biden and coerce foreign entities to get rich so the DOJ ignores him.

“The lawsuit alleges that, from at least September 2018 to May 2022, SpaceX routinely discouraged asylees and refugees from applying and refused to hire or consider them, because of their citizenship status, in violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act,” the Justice Department said.

“Our investigation found that SpaceX failed to fairly consider or hire asylees and refugees because of their citizenship status and imposed what amounted to a ban on their hire regardless of their qualification, in violation of federal law,” US Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke said.

Our selective justice system strikes again.

Musk’s response:

Elon Musk
@elonmusk
·

@lrocket
Exactly.

SpaceX was told repeatedly that hiring anyone who was not a permanent resident of the United States would violate international arms trafficking law, which would be a criminal offense.

We couldn’t even hire Canadian citizens, despite Canada being part of NORAD!

The regime is suing Musk for not hiring foreigners even though there’s a law that strictly prevents SpaceX hiring foreigners.

Interesting comments re Michelle. I hadn’t realised that the cultural thing might be strong enough to sway the needle in such a key Demo demo. Her unlikeability, though, I certainly had factored in. For that to be a game changer, you have to assume that voters will get past “Obama!”, which I obviously doubt.

I’m pretty sure the whole timing thing will be neatly sorted, if that is the way they choose to go. The old codger is woeful now… another 6 or 8 months won’t change that very much. Just gives them sufficient time to jettison the necessary and line up the deck chairs.

Not, of course, that it matters. They will “elect” anyone or anything with an IQ north of the proverbial ham sandwich they want… which is why Kamala being disappeared is essential. Even the Dems can’t get her “elected”, and I suspect they know it.

I’m reading Andrew Robert’s “A History of the English Speaking Peoples Since 1900.”

On Tuesday, 11th September, the Twin Towers of the World Trade centre were hit by hijacked aeroplanes. They collapsed, killing 2,749 people. Meanwhile, a third hijacked plane hit the Pentagon, killing a further 180 people.

“The sublimely brave passengers of a fourth plane, led by Americans Todd Beamer, Jeremy Glick, Thomas Burmett and Mark Bingham rushed it’s hijackers, and in the course of trying to overpower them, the plane crashed in Pennsylvania, killing all those on board, but saving either the Capitol or the White House from a fate similar to the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Mr Beamer’s call to his compatriots just before they stormed the cockpit – “Are you ready, guys? Let’s roll!” – today ranks as one of the great rallying cries of the English – speaking peoples in combat.” Page 600.

What we see forming now is further evidence of the great energy cleaving.

As most western nations chase the World Economic Forum’s priority around ‘climate change’, the BRICS alliance hedges for more traditional energy sources (oil, natural gas, coal).

China will benefit the most as the Western industrial economies will not be able to compete in a global market using windmills and solar panels.

Vivek Ramaswammy solidly called out the great climate hoax. No-one else on that panel was game to do so, as he correctly said, because of backlash from vested climate interests. Trump ignored the climate loonies and instituted a policy of American fracking for oil which was very successful. Together they could stand up against the madness that has invaded the west since the 80’s. Someone has to, before the west goes completely under.

It really annoys both me and Hairy when we see lip service still being given by Liberals and others of the centre-right to ‘decarbonising’. Decarbonising is a fools errand, a scientific impossibility and something that should be dismissed out of hand now.
There is no need to give any credence to this religious cult any longer. Noone else outside the west is buying it.

He’s also been very left-wing, until recently, when Jordan Petersen has been influential on my sons’s thinking and his media searching.

He went to some Sydney Festival thing recently (not sure what, but something public, maybe Darling Harbour) and is outraged. $35 entry, $24 for concession card holders, and … wait for it, $12 for ‘aboriginal people’. How much for Jews? says Hairy, in deepest and savage irony. We have neither of us seen this sort of racial or ethnic division and exclusion expressed in public entrance fees previously.

My son has decided he will now move from a Yes Vote to a No Vote. I hope this has the same effect on many others, who see this as a signal of what is to come.

Donald Trump looks very good for his age, and he is tall, so he can carry some extra weight. He would be less fit as a long and thin beanpole. He’s still very mentally competent and his take on Kamala re speaking in rhythm was brilliantly performed.

He’s definitely good for another four years, in contrast to Biden who is seriously impaired mentally and physically: as Trump managed to devastatingly convey re Biden’s gait, let alone what he mumbles along about.

Biden’s treatment of major catastrophes has been abysmal, first the train explosion, and now Maui, which looks like a complete breakdown of proper administration prior to the fires and then many failures in emergency service responses. America must be deeply shamed about this, as well as their President’s unconcern, or they would be if the MSM reported it adequately.
