3 down. Australia will probably lose tomorrow. Despite all the bullshit, I still support Australia.
Well spotted Ceres.
At this moment in time, Jasprit Bumrah is playing his 41st Test and is holding a bowling average of 19.94.…
How depressing: Australia (3-12) trail India by 521 runs after day three.
Money brought peace to N Ireland. Ian Paisley, family and retainers all benefited nicely, thank you.
Same in Palestine. The terrorists fighting at the bottom on the streets are being paid off. At higher levels there would be plenty of cream going into stashes like Arafat had in Switzerland. Somebody like Trump understands this and knows how to leverage it.
It’s not hard. Fanatical ideologues but also hard men who stay in power because they pay off gunmen and private armies while mouthing slogans and exploiting and preserving poverty. It’s as corrupt as any other camel pasture.
After the shooting stops this is the dirty way forward.
they are just unpaid agents (of the ATO largely)

Kenny very good on the muzzies. What a pity he is brain dead about the screech
Matrix Transform:
There’s a lot of concrete there – it would make a great rubble pier out to the Israeli oil/gas platform.
We could call it the Gaza Causeway.
And their Greens supporters.
The mask has slipped. But who has eyes to see?
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The cops are not prohibiting people from attending the pro- Israeli rally. They urging folks not to go, and also warning them the other side are violent crims.
I don’t read this as a prohibition. They’re telegraphing potential safety concerns.
JC – It’s enabling shit behavior by a group of people who can’t control themselves, which only reinforces their perceived “right” to act out.
Short term solution is to announce that for public safety reasons the march is cancelled. Enforce that with arrests. This is neither new nor is it rocket science. They know how to do it as they have done it in the recent past, but to responsible citizens.
Long-term solution is to learn from this and stop importing them.
That would be only 125 sq miles.
Gaza is 140 sq miles (just a touch over actually)
Fair enough Zat.
We should be so grateful to the Lakemba muzzies.
Another nail into the Trots coffin.
I get this, JC.
The Premier, no less, has directed that the Opera House is lit with the Israeli flag.
The Palis/Lakembaites/Greens have decided to protest this.
Exactly who has the right to be there? The ones with whom our government “appears” to sympathise with, or the deadshits doing the terrorism?
That’s one way of looking at it. VAT and similar taxes are a lot of work, although much of it would be automated through modern bookkeeping systems. I don’t necessarily have a problem with consumption type taxes -although the failure to remove a number of the other taxes is a legitimate gripe. Collecting 20 or 25% VAT makes the temptation even greater.

Sydney Harbour is about 100 m from there. Perhaps plod could do the right thing? The water isn’t even very polluted these days.

The other thing I noted was the settlement housing isn’t suited for home defence.
The houses need to be two story, with no ground entrances and liftable stairs that can be locked.
They will require explosives to enter, and the time delay will allow the defenders to defend choke points with military grade weapons.
Time and warnings is what will make the attackers lose momentum. Once an attacker loses momentum, its over for them.
Where’s Albanese?
It was all peace and love at Lakemba mosque last Friday.
The NSW Board of Jewish Deputies is right, people who approve the atrocities committed by Hamas have no place in a civilised society.
This is Popper’s paradox of tolerance: a society that is too tolerant of intolerance will eventually see the tolerant suppressed and destroyed.
Yes excreta creature trumble actually wanted to raise the GST to 15% iirc.

Is it not obvious to everybody that it’s only a matter of time before there’s a coordinated attack inside the US?
The Biden admin is literally cutting our border fences and letting all kinds of people in!
Some light relief, courtesy of my mother. I have just spoken to my mother. Distressed about what’s happened in Israel, worried about my stepfather, she went to visit him today at his nursing home. He’s been there now for about five weeks, and for the first two weeks, when arriving, she had to have a stupid Covid test and wear a bloody mask. Anyway, the nursing home stopped the compulsory testing and wearing of mask about three/four weeks ago. However today, Mum parked her car, got into the nursing home lift and came into direct contact with the nursing home Nurse Ratched. This Nurse Ratched was new, Mum hadn’t seen her before. When Mum got into the lieft, Nurse Ratched shouted at Mum because she was maskless, My mother said “so?”. Then Nurse Ratched continued shouting at Mum. My mother tried to explain that testing and marks were no longer necessary, that they had received an email weeks ago from hospital management stating this and that every day she comes here and isn’t required to wear a mask or have a test. But Nurse Ratched couldn’t be calmed, and continued to be abusive to my mother. Mum followed her to the reception and the nurse passed Mum a box of masks, to which my mother said….”I don’t I’ll be putting on any mask, thank you very much, you can’t make me put on any mask because I know what the rules are”, then mum said she picked up the box of masks, threw them on the floor and said “I am going to see my husband now”.
All this time my mother had her glamorous walking stick which she said she was seconds away from using against Nurse Ratched. If you ever read that an elderly woman in a nursing home has been arrested for hitting a nurse with a walking stick, it’ll be my mother!
My sister later emailed the nursing home to complain, attaching the original email from hospital management sent weeks ago that said testing and masks were no longer mandatory.
Yapping and moaning just makes Israel and Jews bigger targets. As I say about the conservatives and the left, so to the Jews and the world with islam: you are not dealing with rational, reasonable humans, you are dealing with ferocious, mad animals. And what do you do with mad animals?
Only 22 seats to vote yes…..hmm, I reckon all the Teal seats will vote YES.
That didn’t age well. Expect Rowe will take it up soon.
Wasn’t John Hewson calling for a 15% G.S.T. in 1993?
… and Jesus wept.
At the Opera House, are the police going in and arresting the protesters screaming “f*ck the Jews”? If not, why not? Will the ABC report this?
This is disgusting.

That’s why they’re doing it – it worked last time, so they’re doing it again.
And police cowardice is enabling the tactic.
Did that apply to cake, or not?
So we have a lurking downticker who supports the chant “f*ck the Jews”.
Interesting

FREE PALESTINE – with every purchase over twenty dollars…
Not so sure about teal seats voting yes. I live in one. The Yes spruikers at the train station disappeared weeks ago. And I reckon about a third of the houses that had vote Mon-the-serious-wine-mum posters up during the election have Yes posters up. Yes volunteers gave up hassling people at Mailing Road shops a month ago. Mailing Road must be the most passive, somnolent and boring place on the planet. So getting scared off from there is quite a feat.
A lot of agreement, Mark from Melbin.
It’s a sensible middle ground between “nuke the following people” and being in a constant state of besiegement.
+700
Imagine if, after the Christchurch shooting, a stack of Jews had marched around yelling “F*ck Islam”??
They’d still be locked up.
This bullshit can’t be allowed to happen, as I said before it is inciting violence and supporting genocide, or cheering it on at the very least.
The cops need to shut this crap down pronto.

Then they’re admitting they’ve got their jobs under false pretences. As such, resignation is the only option. And that includes the hierarchy.
This is also why we shouldn’t we recruiting 5 ft nothing females into the police.
We need a new policy of applying force to deter those who do not wish to maintain the peace. That will require the end of all diversity picks in the police.
As Sal just pointed out, the police used force on non-threatening females during the lockdowns and had no trouble with enforcement of the rules then.

Annexing means taking in a bunch of out of control loons. Why?
Would you give them Israeli citizens?
Quite …. What they did to ordinary citizens these last 3 years has poisoned their relationships for a generation….I used to regard them as brother emergency workers, now I will never again lift a finger to help them.

It’s the same old, old story; people are killed (and kidnapped, and presumably tortured) by Islamist terrorists, but the latter are the “victims,” and they were forced into fighting back!
With the Voice and then the hideous assault on Israel taking up the Cat today, as it should, maybe a little travelogue from Italy might be very skippable, so I’ll keep it short, just as an update. We’re staying in a sixteenth century Italian villa of listed historical significance, in large and very beautiful grounds, situated outside Treviso in a more suburban area. Once inside the main gates though it is another world, one we luckily have to ourselves, the whole villa is ours to enjoy and use, as no-one else is staying till Wednesday when we leave and the last guests from when we arrived yesterday left this morning. It is unbelievably redolent of past times, furnished with wonderful antiques both large and small, and with amazing architecture and ornate gilded and carved marble topped fireplaces. The grounds are well-groomed, extensive and very walkable. The room we have two stories up a marble staircase is very comfortable with its own terrace. The ‘concierge’ is rarely around. We are lords of this manor, using the remarkable old kitchen for preparing breakfast, eating in the dining room which still has some C16th frescos, and now sitting in the main living room admiring the grand piano in the corner. We shall lunch and dine at nearby restaurants so they do not encourage much cooking, though we did eat-in salad-style from a nearby Lidl supermarket last night using the quality plates and cutlery provided.
And it is very affordable for Aussies, at just under two hundred of the Little Aussie Battlers a night. Anyone travelling this way might like details, happy to provide them.
A brief respite from the storm of the modern world. Ancestral and bucolic paintings on the walls for reflections on other things.
Seeing reports, from Palestinian accounts, that Hamas have obtained Manpads & are using them against Israeli helicopters.
They’re claiming to have brought down Four IDF helicopters – not destroyed, but damaged them causing a forced landing & putting them out of action.
The Manpaids are claimed to be diverted from munitions intended for Ukraine.

I’d demand public loyalty oaths and otherwise bribe them to leave for Egypt or the West Bank – forcibly but still give them the bribe if they left.
It would absolutely poison the “River to the sea” rhetoric.
If the PA couldn’t keep control of the West Bank or greenlit more attacks, the West Bank would soon become permanently Israeli too.
You’d expect Lebanon and Syria to wise up after that, but maybe not.
Technically it’s not a true camel toe, it’s more a faux toe on account of the stitching.

So, the human garbage marched through Sydney CBD streets, chanting death to Israel and “f*ck the Jews”. They’re calling for genocide against Jews, on Australian streets.

We are paying much less here than the usual three hundred or so Aussie dollars a night (or more) in the Alpine and Tuscany region, the cost often, but not always, depending on whether using a hotel or an apartment.
These common-area rooms where I sit are all part of the oldest section of the villa. The main living room I am in now has wall dado’s up to 5 ft in flock Italianate wallpaper, plus there are seven oil paintings, mostly large ones, two other hung watercolours, four extensive wall candelabras and a grand chandelier, plus three sets of sofas plus chairs, two consoles, two coffee tables, an occasional table and the square table I type at has six carved antique chairs; all this plus the grand piano in the corner. The gilded fireplace is breasted on each side with two C16th heads, one male and the other female. This is the sort of room around which people sometimes ‘took turns’ for privacy in discussion, a la Jane Austin.
I was down here alone last night after Hairy ‘went up’ and had to turn off all the lights before I ‘went up’ too. It was quiet, dark, and a bit spooky as the ages hung in the night air.

Well you can be certain the media will not be following up that claim.
Getting their endorsement for their Yes vote is really looking like an own goal, especially after the attack on Israel.
Sal you said 25 x 5 miles. Wiki has it at 365 sq km which is wrong. All the figures I’ve seen are all over the place. 25 m x 5 m average is about right. Your 90,000 acres is probably more right but I don’t know where you got your figures from. A bit mixed up.
Cassie, I’m the opposite. So many words that I can’t keep up. So I’ll pass for now.
In the end all goes through to the Keeper. And the judge of all the earth will do right.
Annexing a strip of ground with one of the highest population densities on Earth, over half of who live below the poverty line?

Don’t forget Australia has had homegrown terrorists for a long time.
Was better when they went to Syria and found their jihadi heaven though.
FMD, PML is a dickhead: the problem for the Israelis is how do you punish the guilty he says sweetly without injuring the poor innocent pallies. He is a fuking moron: there are NO innocent pallies/muzzies. Look at the slime we have in Australia. Some idiot from the ADF is agreeing with him. Also chatting about saving the hostages; the hostages are gone.
One of the great damaging myths is that there are bad and good muzzies.
The concierge guy who also does the rooms goes home at 8pm, comes back at 8 the next morning, and hides away in a little office near the laundry away from the house when on the premises. There is a ferocious ‘ironing system’ there which he is going to show me how to use on the washing we did in the last apartment (where the iron had gone missing). He is helpful, sub-continental in origin, and speaks almost no English.
The villa has the appearance of being slightly left to its own devices by absentee owners, who do the essentials but are just managing to keep it running.
The more I hear about your mum,Cassie, the more I like her.
They can bend the knee or live with fellow Arab Muslims with a cash gift and leave to a brethren neighbour.
Israel patrols the streets and Iranian-built rockets stop falling on Israelis, 30%+ of Gazans despise their rulers.
The idea is to absolutely poison the “River to the Sea” ideology and be a credible deterrence for states or quasi-states allowing or engaging in further rocket attacks, ambushes or hostage-taking. If it starts up in the West Bank, in a few more months, not only Gaza is Israeli, but so is the West Bank – forever.

One wonders what cyber activity is taking place against the enemy right now.
Cutting the head off the snake is easy to say and hard to do.
Annexing the lot and applying the law very, very, very narrowly might achieve that result and provide a salutary lesson or two. If it didn’t, the next annexation might.
I don’t think the Israelis have any good choices here, and I am sure that is the situation Iran wanted. They need to be very strategic, and whatever they decide to do, they need to go Nike.. just do it.
I had a sobering thought on how we are governed.
Everyone knows how much waste, duplication and outright corruption there appears to be in Aboriginal issues.
My thought.
How about it’s actually at all levels of government and departments, but because most people ” look after themselves” the dysfunction is nowhere near as noticeable?
Lets face it, some of the most screwed up people in Australia are those exposed to Moar giviment. Units, public serpents and housos.
No arrests for this I bet:

Pro-Palestine group lights flares amid Israel tribute
Members of a pro-Palestinian rally threw flares outside the Sydney Opera House, which was lit up with Israeli colours.

Sal, earlier and apropos of NSW plod:

You don’t get to wander about in tactical gear terrorising nannas in parks and sunbathers without also dealing with proper halfwits, in this instance who would also be roided up with beards down to their guts, and you know, being loud.
Wear the gear, do the job. The peace is being broken or it isn’t.
If it is, then deal with it. If you don’t, then let me be clear – any other course of action is abject cowardice, and all that fancy turtle suit equipment you wear should be thrown in the bin as you walk out the door to your next career at Bunnings or Chemist Warehouse.
Abject. Cowardice.
What better strip of ground to annex?
Half live below the poverty line? Gee, whillickers… if the Israelis can’t make a better fist of it than that, I will walk bare arse backwards down Bourke Street!

NSW Police Minister should resign over Jewish community call
SIMON BENSON
It is almost beyond belief that Jewish residents of Sydney have been told to stay in their homes because the police can’t guarantee their safety.
This is nothing short of a disgrace. And the NSW police Minister Yasmin Catley should resign for allowing this to happen.
There is almost no equivalent for the appalling lack of judgment by the NSW police to allow a pro-Palestinian march on the CBD, knowing members of the Jewish community might want to attend the Opera House.
This has denied the Jewish community the right to join in solidarity over the murder of their people in favour of a protest that seeks to celebrate it. Presumably the protest will have a police escort.
It is madness.
With all the instruments of State, it is equally implausible that the NSW police can’t keep the Jewish community safe.
And it could have easily been resolved.
Catley must bear ultimate responsibility for this decision, one which flies in the face of the decision of her Premier Chris Minns to light up the Opera House in the first place as a mark of respect to the Jewish community.
And it is one the minister will come to regret.
One can only imagine the shock from Jewish leaders when told by police that they should urge people to stay at home.
They will be justifiably outraged and should be demanding of an explanation from the NSW government and the NSW police.”
yet they did … because, Inspector Obvious … proper halfwits also wear a uniform

Still spoiling for a stoush I see, Catweazle – regardless of circumstances, and over 24 hours after you wandered in last night hoping to land another tranche of monosyllabic gibberish.
Okay then. Point out exactly what was wrong with that statement. In detail.
Not just ‘mong’ or ‘derivative’ or ‘solipsistic’ or ‘dicks wanking’ or ‘don’t get it’.
Put your actual argument up, because anything less just makes you what people take the piss out of.
A mouthy switch-flicker, lacking in substance, and extremely easy to take the piss out of.

That will be interesting when some wing of the Palestine Peoples Liberation Front decide the Chinese Oppressors are as bad as the Jewish ‘Oppressors’, and decide to do something about it.
A war of attrition will always favour the side which values their own people less.
The reoccupation of Gaza may be inevitable, but sadly, one wonders if a static occupation by itself will be a sound investment.
One can only hope that the full spectrum of weapons (including economic, financial, and informational) are utilised.
As Mark wrote above, there are no enviable choices.
I wonder who prodded Ho Chi Minns into lighting up the Opera House? .. The bloke is a follower not a leader a decision of this magnitude must have come from elsewhere cos whatever else Ho Chi Minns has shown to date it hasn’t involved “growing a pair” …….
Why doesn’t Israel get really serious with the Gaza neanderthals? .. shut off the electricity & water and tell ’em they ain’t getting it back until ALL hostages are released & back home …….. then turn the f**kin’ place into a car-park entrance for a glassed over Iran ……..
I don’t want Gaza annexed.
I want Gaza razed.
I’ll tell you what’s obvious mate
that you reckon yr a force for good and that you can do no wrong

Kinda my point, Muddy. If possibly in reverse.
It is crystal clear that some significant consequences must fall upon many, many Gazans. It is how those consequences are managed / meted out I hope the Israelis get right. Whatever that might mean.
If they get it right, the whole narrative changes.
(That would, just to make it clear, require more wisdom and mercy than I could possibly muster. But someone pays these folk to be wise… Goose’s “do that pilot shit” does spring to mind.)
I think the Israelis have already turned off the electricity and water.
are you retarded too?
Joe Hildebrand plays the “tiny minority” card re Sydney’s Opera House terrorists.
Liz Storer promptly stomped on him.
She doesn’t back off.
Yes.
A couple of us tried to help out a mate years ago whose construction related business was in strife.
After a couple of hours of raking over the entrails, I asked, “Hey, where’s the group tax?” (It was months in arrears).
“Err, well, yeah. I’ve talked to them about that. They’re fine.”
“No. They are not fine. If you tell them you can’t pay they will just say “hmmm”. But they won’t wipe the slate on that basis.”
They didn’t.
Bankrupt.
Gaza, razed, would have it’s finest hour as a car-park for the local franchise of Makka’s.
PML showed 6 folk talking about their screech vote; the 3 guys all voted no; the 3 middle aged skanks all voted yes because it was the right thing to do. A 2 week holiday for each of them on the Gaza Strip is in order.

I agree.
The seat by seat numbers will make interesting reading.
Don’t mean anything for the referendum, of course, but might make a few arses pucker if a Teal seat returns a sub 40% Yes vote.
No, but I’ still waiting for an explanation as to why my point of view that jacks in tactical gear are okay to smash nannas in parks, but aren’t okay to drag Pali supporters down NSW streets by the ankle and away from normal people – is wrong.
As Rory Breaker said in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels:
‘And now – you may enlighten me.’
One can imagine numbers of international media and NGOs clamouring to get into Gaza now. Accidentally killing too may of them may not look so good.
Serious question: Which countries are Israel’s major trading partners, and what economic pressure could be applied to Israel?
One fairly important problem with Gaza is a very large (no idea of %) proportion of the population also despises Hamas and most likely wants peace.
How do you separate the two parts?
Probably impossible – best to just push them all towards the docks and have Lebanon, the West Bank or Iran take them. Get the mussie countries to step up and Gazans can have a choice.
Then annex the lot, turn it into greater Israel.
Hamas is basically Ted Bundy in organisational form.
nice one sancho … just needs more road-rage
If Trump gets back in, he should “encourage” the UN to redefine what a Palestinian refugee is.
Currently, they’re the only group of refugees in the world who never lose their refugee status despite being citizens of another country and not being born anywhere near the place.
That refugee status in perpetuity is one of the reasons – and perhaps the main reason – why they continually remain fixated with claiming their “right of return”.
At least Ted was on the side of high tariff walls. We can at least give him that.

Unnecessarily provocative in Australia.
So, tonight Sydney Jews were told by NSW Police to stay away from the Sydney Opera House, a building where, since 1973, thousands of Jews have played, performed and visited.
And yet tonight NSW Police, the same police that allowed scum to protest a funeral earlier this year, stood by and allowed Nazis to let off flares, to burn an Israeli flag and to scream Death to Israel and “F*ck the Jews”.
Usual suspects.

Just another day at Walmart
Ha ha.
Thanks.
(I was hoping someone would do my homework for me).
Anyway, opinion polling aside, the electorate-by-electorate numbers on Saturday will be interesting.
The question is, if an opening presents itself, will the Liberals go for the juggler?
Cheryl Kernot has always been a fat bovine mediocrity.
Anybody actually seen an image of the Opera House lit up with Israeli Flag?
Mole
I think the Pali soaked left in the west has made a serious mistake by throwing their support to the loons.
People see pictures like this in newspapers or on the web (and I bet Twitter traffic has skyrocketed in the past few days), and they can’t imagine how any decent person could throw their support to the Palis.
Just a hunch that opinion on the left may have swung towards Israel, at least for now.
Thanks, JC.
Okay, Israeli govt now reporting they’ve cut off the water into Gaza.
The link to SkyNews put up by Old Ozzie earlier today where they predicted people in only 22 seats would vote Yes.
It isn’t totally polling.
It is polling, then demographic extrapolation, so the error margin would no doubt be higher, but not enough to help Luigi.
Does the AEC show stats by electorate for refs?
Always found it one of the great mysteries of human civilisation.
That Cheryl Kernot and Gareth Evans both found two people on the planet who would root them.
Who can forget her meltdown on election night after crossing to the Liars? Looked like she wasn’t going to win the seat she had been pre-selected for, so unloaded on the ALP hierarchy. I think she got up on postal votes later.
Awkward.
Oz
I reckon it’s 300 tops.
It’s not relevant as it isn’t a general election, but booth numbers would be available, and Antony Green’s compuda will then crunch the numbers.
Echoes of Kevin Rudd in Anthony Albanese’s popularity slide
DENNIS SHANAHAN
In the last six months of campaigning for the referendum for an indigenous voice to Parliament, voter satisfaction with Anthony Albanese has fallen 12 percentage points, from a near historical high of 57 per cent to 45 per cent in Newspoll.
It is clear as Prime Minister Albanese is paying a price for seeming to be distracted from the main issue of cost-of-living pressures on peoples’ lives by a moral issue that is not the top priority of ordinary Australians.
What’s more, it appears his crusade for an indigenous voice to parliament and executive government could face a devastating defeat at Saturday’s referendum.
Voter satisfaction may seem to be a mere ancillary figure to the more telling crushing support for the no vote in the referendum but there is an historical parallel which will send shivers down the collective spine of the ALP.
In the same period of time – just six months – Kevin Rudd suffered the same loss in voter satisfaction – 13 points – as he fought for the moral issue of climate change and dealt badly with illegal boat arrivals and asylum-seeker policy.
In political terms the weight given to voter satisfaction and dissatisfaction with a leader is far less important than the polling for primary vote, preferred prime minister and the two-party preferred calculation but it can presage problems for both the Prime Minister and the Government.
Voter satisfaction – which can be used to provide an index of voter feeling by calculating the difference between satisfaction and dissatisfaction – for Albanese in the latest Newspoll was minus 1, only the second time he has had a minus reading.
Just in May Albanese had a 57 per cent rating for voter satisfaction and dissatisfaction of just 38 per cent – a differential of positive 19 percentage points.
In the six months between October 2009 and April 2010 voter satisfaction with then prime minister Rudd fell from 63 per cent to 50 per cent and dissatisfaction rose from 28 per cent to 41 per cent.
Rudd’s historical high of voter satisfaction was 71 per cent and was 67 per cent in mid-October 2008.
But as Rudd started to push for his carbon pricing scheme – the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme – to address climate change as “the moral challenge of our lifetime” voter satisfaction fell rapidly. His campaign went badly, he didn’t get it through parliament and in April 2009 backed away.
Simultaneously, Rudd was failing to deal with growing illegal boat arrivals, a far greater concern among the public than climate change, and lost all credibility when an Australian ship was stranded in Indonesia with 78 Sri Lankan asylum seekers trying to reach Australia.
Rudd had been distracted from a prime concern of the public while trying to create a system to address climate change and failed. Voter satisfaction plummeted and never returned to the giddy heights of 70 per cent.
Indeed, the collapse of the climate change plans, anger over the asylum seeker issue and the onset of Labor’s mishandling of the mining tax ensured Rudd’s voter satisfaction never went above 50 per cent again and was the leading indicator for a collapse of support for him as leader and for Labor as a government. Indeed it was the end of Rudd’s leadership.
It all started with voter satisfaction falling first.
Albanese needs to ensure that if the voice referendum fails he immediately shifts back to focus on cost-of-living remedies for households and doesn’t revisit a moral campaign or blunder on a major policy.
Voter satisfaction may be the least important of the Newspoll indices but it can be a deadly leading indicator.

They think the normal rules apply.
Israel will blow up some locations, ” green helmets” will cart the same dead kid to 7 locations while fat Fatima the granny wails outside a destroyed weapons dump festooned with toddler toys like Santa’s version of Verdun.
I think the Israelis are seriously grumpy this time and a number of enablers of Hamas etc in 3rd countries may not be as immune to the blowback as they think.
A lot of people get tired and emotional on election night. Particularly those that might have to go and find a job. Wonder what sweet nothings Biggles had promised her?
Fair enough.

I think Captain Albo is going down with the Voice ship. A wag might note unlike Dad.
IIRC Dear Cheryl of the coffee plunger & recruited by nookie had a fair bit to say about the bogan demographics of the seat of Dickson & how could she be expected to lower herself to dealing tradesman, warehouse stormen, etc, & how she’s accustomed to a better class of voter, people who have real jobs (i.e. in a university or newsmedia) & how filthy she felt having to deal with the bogan whinges to the local member, etc etc.
Must have made for some subsequent interesting consultations with the electorate.
LOL.
I think I read the Israelis have cut off their phone services. Does that mean there won’t be any Paliwood or will they get the wailing Fat Fatima vids out some other way?
I wonder if toilet paper is in short supply now?
I confess, I too am “not Bob Hawke”.
(sniff)
A common affliction, or so I’ve heard.
Crikey, there’s no shortage of First Nations activists supporting Hamas, & slating the NSW & Federal govts for “siding” with the stinking Israelis.
They’ve blown up via missile/rocket much of the internet & phone repeater capacity in Gaza.
Reduced service to a fraction of before, apparently not totally cut it off. (yet)
This one’s for Cassie. Old age, and a liking for strong drink have dulled my recollection, but as Australian author, John Laffin, wrote an account of the Israeli incursion into South Lebanon, in 1982, which featured two incidents of note. One featured the veteran of all Israel’s wars, including 1948, serving alongside his two sons, and the other was an account of some of the propaganda images, created by the Pali’s….the bed sheets hung out the window, in the hope that the evil Jews wouldn’t destroy the house – in fact, it’s an old local custom, which indicates that a girl of marriageable age lives there….
Going to be interesting to see how he disentangles himself from da Voice flypaper without appearing, well, racist.
Lucky for him that Noosa Noel will fall mute on Sunday.
God knows what he might have to say if it were not for the vow of silence.
Mind you, Sugar Ray Martin has made no such pledge, so …

Got into the comfort food to console herself (Tim Tams).
ScoMo has gone, but she is still seeking solace in the Arnotts aisle.
Won’t a voice in the Constitution settle that?
I don’t pray, but heading off to bed, I’m sparing a thought for any hostages still alive. May Shin Bet have informants in your vicinity.
Daily Mail.
I remember him.
Was asked several times in France, did I know him?
I met ’em halfway & said I’d read his books, followed by lots of head nodding to imply a connection.
They’ve left the word “German” out this time.
Hence all the overseas jaunts, got keep those frequent flyer points up.
“Yes” vote will probably be under the 32% that voted for him. Serves two purposes that Australians dont want a race based constitution and that Elbow is a FW.

I was just about to nod off when I thought:
What if the Israeli Intelligence Service had a General Milley in their ranks who had refused to pass on the news of the impending attack because he was – not a traitor in the original sense – but a Leftist who got the size of the attack completely out off scale?
In other words does Israel have a much more functional Swamp where the Left have infiltrated all the Organs of the State and was trying to embarrass the government?

Andrews and Blairgowrie, Kernot and St Leo’s- says it all in both cases
Good morning, being otherwise pre-occupied with things that overtake life, I was wondering if any gatto or gattina has seen or heard a certain minister in the current ineptocracy call ‘Palestine’ -‘a rogue state’? Just wondering.
Gareth Evans was a honey trap. Poor Cheryl couldn’t resist.
Just watched last nights scene from the Opera House.
Blood boiling.
The NSW police force has allowed a large mob of people to rally in support of a group whose core tenet is indistinguishable from that of the actual NA$I party. You know, the real one.
Apparently Israel is appealing to mothers for breast milk. A lot of orphaned babies.
Petros you win the cruel and hilarious award.
You are a very mean, very funny dude.
Gareth Evans was Australias first beta male.
If you are Albanese and your whole world view has always been defined by the Inner West, then it makes perfect sense to go to the Mosque.
The Lakemba Mussies are critical to sustaining Labor in the only part of Australia that Albanese understands.
That the rest of the Nation would be shocked by such crass vote buying would never have crossed his mind.
After all, in Albanese’s mind Australia is just a big Party branch and he knows how to kick them into line.
He is completely incapable of understanding rural electorates so his old Torrie fighter instincts kick in – break them. Which is what he is doing.
Talking to people on the Downs (outside of Teachers’ Union Toowoomba) there is total disbelief at Albanese’s ignorance and contempt for Australia.
He’s going to need that Muzzie vote.
You need a permit to protest in Sydney.
How were they given one the same night the opera house was being lit up?
The White House didn’t participate in being lit up with Israeli colours.
Biden isn’t pulling the strings.
Obama is doing everything he can to let Iran off the leash.
You need a permit to protest in Sydney.
How were they given one the same night the opera house was being lit up?
Exactly and Police Intelligence didn’t see this coming? Has the appearances of another BLM type throw hands in air and shrug of shoulders.
The Washington Post is a disgrace.
Here’s what they actually published.
Trump gave Putin Iron Dome intel.
Putin gave it to Iran.
Iran gave it to Hamas.
F*ck.
Me.
Dead.
Hamas fired 5000 rockets in 20mins.
Spend 15mins on YouTube and you’ll see that Iron Dome can not handle that.
But the Washington Post publishes it was Trump’s fault.
It’s beyond TDS at this stage.
Hopefully twitter community notes will catch up to this shortly.
How does it make sense that when your cause is in trouble you choose a smaller venue to persuade people to your side? If she believed in her cause Burney would have chosen the highest rated TV network in the country to spread her word? I suspect she was afraid of a real debate where she would have to justify and support her claims.
I still think Burney is not well enough to do her job and should have retired when she first experienced health problems.
FTB not only WAPO, saw yesterday News.com literally had a sentence in an article where it was breaking down numbers of deaths, Gazan children were in the count but not Israeli. Slips are showing.
Pretty sure the people of Gaza would have seen 1000’s of rockets being deployed in the day(s) before this.
Yet no one did anything.
