Ahhhh yes, and remember when Morrison copped an egg too?
Even a stinking rotten egg can’t match the stink that reeks from the hypocritical left.
His sexuality is a footnote, of very little interest to most people. He was an Arian(in his day a heresy) but religion does not determine sexuality.
At his ascension to the throne, I thought the King acknowledged that his days of commenting on stuff was over. Yet, he attended COP26 and made a speech about the need to act.
On that he gets a big thumbs down from me.
I’d never heard of Peta Murphy. Her electorate is one that the Liberals should target, there will be a by-election and the Liberals can and…will win it.
It’s a marginal electorate that has long leaned and voted Liberal, and was Liberal from 1996 through to 2019.
The federal government’s DITRDCA department issued an alert on Monday for 1,659 variants of the Great Wall Motors (GWM) Ora model sold across Australia.
The recall notice identified a “programming issue” in the affected cars, said to be occurring when the operator removes the charging cable without cancelling the charge.
In this instance, an electrical arc is created between the charging plug and vehicle, which can then turn hazardous for anyone in close proximity to the car.
Didn’t Jane Caro buy an GWM Ora? I’m not suggesting for a moment that I wish any harm on the delightful lady.
Not at all. Still, wouldn’t be disappointed if the cheap, tatty bit of junk was stranded by the side of the road.
I’m talking about the car, of course.
The West is asleep at the wheel.
It would be good if the West was only asleep at the wheel. Unfortunately the revelation that the US is to shut down all coal fired power stations is about as close to the death knell of the west as it can get because many other nations, including Australia will speed up their plans for closure.
Murphy’s electorate of Dunkley will fall to the Liberals.
The Grampian Nazis are a very useful distraction from the elephant in the room though, for the left and Labor generally, and people like AG Mark Dreyfus specifically.
Assuming that the Grampian Nazis aren’t actually a false flag operation, they would have been emboldened by the government’s and the authorities’ very timid (at best) reaction to the wave of anti-Semitism in the last two months.

COP28 has shoved some very big enemas up the piffillated arse of turtle, about nuclear and even fossils with the sheik running the decadent knees up and gob fest stating that fossils can’t be phased out.
But sexuality may have much to do with religion, since religion represents the way is or is meant to be ordered and a person may find themselves in an awkward position thereby.
Assuming that the Grampian Nazis aren’t actually a false flag operation
Big assumption; too big.

It’s not the Army’s job to fix houses that will be trashed as they walk back to the barracks. And if Australians think it is, then the armed forces recruitment problem will go from chronic to calamitous.
Make the people who broke the houses, fix the houses. And don’t turn the army into house repairers – that’s not their function.
Yes.
Unfortunately, mum – always more practical than sentimental – had given all dad’s suits to Lifeline, thinking he’d never need them again given his long illness.
This necessitated a rushed trip to the local clothing emporium on my part, where I gave the rough measurements to the attendant, a middle aged lady who still took pride in serving customers, and explained the clothes were for my father.
As she was packing them up she said, “I hope he likes them. If the trousers need adjusting we have a service for that.”
Not thinking clearly, I said, “I don’t think it will be a problem; he’s dead.”
The poor lady nearly shrank under the counter.
Meanwhile in the Territory:
Seven children, aged between 14 and 17, have been arrested after allegedly stealing two cars and taking them on a joy ride from the rural area to Darwin.
The group were reported to have stolen a Toyota Hilux from Wadeye on Sunday and began driving it to Darwin.
When they got to Batchelor they allegedly stole another car and continued on their roadtrip.
Later that afternoon detectives from Strike Force Trident and the Dog Operations Unit located the boys at an address in Moil.
It was here the stolen Hilux was located and six of the group were arrested.
The second stolen vehicle was found in Palmerston where another 14-year-old was arrested.
The Voice would have fixed that.

Governments don’t have hearts.

Doesn’t accept that they might have been reacting to audience disapproval. ‘Of course’ they can make an unrelated political statement during their curtain call. Even Tingle was playing it with a straight bat.
FMD what a disgraceful harridan.
All religions have a great deal of interest in sexuality. I wonder if that is because STDs were such a huge issue in human history and controlling sexual activity was the only way to curb infection rates. Another aspect is the remarkable idea of genetic lineage being so important to the intrinsic worth and power of a person. I’ve never read enough about that issue so if anyone can point me to sources addressing why genetic lineage is so fundamental in human history I’d appreciate it.
I never seen the Karma Sutra as being referred to as “awkward positions”.
You expect not. That broke strictly along factional lines.

Why didn’t anyone have the decency to die while Gillard held a one seat majority?
Sorry, John H, really not seeing how this relates to my point as to the absurdity of depicting Isaac Newton as Indian and Dr Who as gay.
I love(d) Dr Who. In fact I own a Dalek and a Tardis, which were released to commemorate the return of the Dr in 2005.
Just as when Sylvester McCoy became the Dr and, in accordance with the money being pulled from the show, the production quality went down, which heralded the end of the show. These latest instalments “exploring” the world of woke in the cosmos as an entrée to the latest regeneration – and with David Tennant who must think he’s extending himself as an actor, but who is simply trashing his original portrayal – I won’t be returning to watch it. As I didn’t when the regeneration as a girl did not draw me in.
Not exactly, ML (unless I’ve missed something).
The current host went off-script re fossil fuels in a meeting last month.
And 20+ nations have taken the opportunity to sign an agreement on the sidelines to help each other go nuclear.
Still, pretty serious cracks in the facade.
That’s just how my memory works. I was flipping it to Newton being gay because I read about that decades ago. Dr. Who being gay is ridiculous, IIRC Dr. Who is asexual. We need an episode where Dr. Who meets Newton and asks him about why he wasted so much time on Biblical prophecy, alchemy, the philosopher’s stone, and if he was also asexual and why he thought the Trinity is nonsense.
It was 56:44 at the last election.

ML, this ghey “thing”, re Newton, reminds me of claims made a few years ago about the relationship between Bass and Flinders.
Because Flinders wrote to Bass using some very flowery language. The type of language that was popular during that period – now, it has to be seen as a ghey relationship.

My aunt read that poem at my fathers funeral. She had been on the stage, so did it really well.
Woke is a brain virus.
They inserted woke into Dr Who and he turned into a girl.
Then they inserted more woke and he turned into a gay black man.
Sad to see it go that way, I really liked Dr Who until it went mad. I couldn’t watch Capaldi, he may’ve been male but by then the whole thing was already woke as.
Hang on, isn’t she Jewish, so why pro-Paly?
Maybe I am assuming too much, but all the Adlers I have known of were.
Most people in human history, that is our grandparents, their grandparents and so on were chaste until marriage and most were faithful to their husbands/wives. The only sexual partners they had were those who they were married to. Because many women died in childbirth, men were more likely to have more than one wife but that wasn’t because of promiscuity.
Adultery and sexual promiscuity were the preserves of the upper classes.
In Judaism, divorce is allowed but was rare.
Not exactly, ML (unless I’ve missed something).

Louise Adler: artists have a right to an opinion. They’ve always expressed their views e.g. Spanish Civil War etc. etc.
Tingle lets her get away with this by not asking the obvious question, In taking that view, what are you supporting ? Look at the actions of the side you have chosen to support.

How big is your Dalek, BBS?
Went to a science convention some years back, and there were two Daleks. Each was about 1.6m tall. They stood still a lot of the time, and then occasionally burst into “Exterminate! Exterminate!” with lots of SFX noises. They could move so I presume they had people inside them, or maybe they were batteries and remotely operated.
Fun watching the looks of terror on unsuspecting kids when they suddenly started moving.
There’s the old game that the English aristocracy have played for some hundreds of years. Milady is expected to come to the alter a virgin. They walk amongst us:
An Afghan refugee released from immigration detention after a controversial High Court ruling has been charged with two counts of indecent assault.
Aliyawar Yawari, 65, appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday less than a month after he walked free from Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre in Western Australia.
Police arrested Yawari at the Pavlos Motel in Pooraka in Adelaide’s north on Saturday night after allegations a woman had been assaulted by a guest.
He did not apply for bail and has been remanded in custody until January.
Yawari was previously accused of attacking three women and was convicted of assault in 2016.

When I saw them on TV tonight, marching with the ‘Nationalist Socialist’ banner out front, I thought another TISM tour was being advertised. I didn’t see Monty on the TV trying to bash them. Maybe he is still holed up with the truck and donuts he stole on the weekend.
More details on Yawari from the Oz:
Barely three weeks ago, Aliyawar Yawari was standing outside a modest motel on Perth’s eastern fringe, smiling for the camera as he celebrated his sudden new-found freedom.
Through broken English, the Afghani refugee – who had fled his homeland for Australia via Pakistan after his father and brother were killed by the Taliban – spoke of his desire to finally get back to work. He pulled out his false teeth, and produced from his wallet an old passport photo from his younger days.
Asked about what he had done to warrant being thrown into immigration detention indefinitely, he was equivocal; he would only say that there had been some issues to do with “fighting”.
Rather than expand on the crimes that had prompted authorities to try to have him deported, Yawari was more interested in talking about his time spent inside Western Australia’s Yongah Hill detention facility and the toll it had taken on him physically.
He spoke of the physical ailments he had developed during his time in detention, and his need for a walking stick given his issues with his legs.
Afterwards, however, a quick Google search shed far more light on his backstory.
The “fighting” Yawari had described was, in fact, multiple attacks and indecent assaults on several elderly women in South Australia.
His offending was so severe that in 2016 District Court judge Paul Cuthbertson described him as a “danger to the Australian community”.
Yawari was found to have attacked three women in the space of 14 months in and around Bordertown in South Australia, where he was working at a local abattoir.
All three cases had similarities. In the first, he punched his victim repeatedly in the face before having sex with her. He was convicted of assault but acquitted of rape at trial, ultimately receiving a suspended sentence.
The crime, Justice Cuthbertson said at the time, had taken a lasting toll on his victim.
“She says that she was once a free and easy person, accepting most people and cultures, but is now somewhat less trusting of others, especially men,” he said.
Two months later, according to the Adelaide Advertiser, Yawari attacked a 64-year-old woman in her home, indecently assaulting her then hitting her in the neck with a walking stick.
His third offence again involved an incident with a lone elderly woman and had sexual overtones and in both those matters, Yawari smashed windows and kicked doors during the attack.
It prompted Justice Cuthbertson to sentence him to three years and 11 months in prison and, in the six years since serving his term, Yawari has been in immigration detention awaiting a deportation that never came.

I love(d) Dr Who. In fact I own a Dalek and a Tardis, which were released to commemorate the return of the Dr in 2005.
I never really “got” Dr Who. My love as a kid was all of Gerry Anderson’s output. As a little kid I adored Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlett. When I was a bit older I enjoyed the live action UFO and Space 1999.
It would be fair that they weren’t as well written as Dr Who, but I was captivated by the spaceship models on both shows.
Sadly, Luigi thought this would be a Torrie fighting masterstroke.
He imagined he could point across the despatch box and screech “Dutton! Islamophobia! Failed to integrate our sand-monkey brothers!” and sit back and wait for a string of Dutton-bashing pieces from the ABC, the Gruarniard and Nein papers.

TE, they’re not as big as that! If they were I wouldn’t be able to display them on our TV cabinet. They were released in a limited edition to commemorate the return on the Dr in the 2005 series. They’re perfect reproductions and are 250mm in height, but unfortunately don’t have any audio.

From Zulu’s 8:07 p.m. ‘news’ extract:
Nope. Not killed. Murdered.
People can be killed via accident, be it a human or natural cause.
Murder requires premeditation; planning, preparation, execution.
There appears ample evidence that the premeditation element can be substantiated.
Yet the Filth Filter *SPIT* persists in using the impassive, almost benign ‘killed.’
One malignance enables another; a symbiosis of nauseating, subhuman decay.

The release of the rest of the cohort as a result of the HC Case was possibly a way to show the left of the Liars that Luigi “still has it” (h/t Ralph Malph) and remains one of their own. Instead, those “angelic refugees” have been confirmed to the wider public as the hardened criminals that most of us have always thought.
Just as with the vote against da Voice, this debacle has fully opened up another taboo subject for ongoing and widespread discussion.

Up until several years ago .. just prior to BAT FLU .. the favourite method for “housos” in NSW to get a “swap”, for whatever reason, was for the abode to suddenly catch fire .. Housing didn’t refer it to plod, cos publicity backlash, they just moved the tenant(s) to another suburb …… Then, of course, it started getting out-of-hand once, unhappy where they were, folk cottoned on ….. soooooo HC started to do, official, fire investigation and if found not accidental called plod & went to eviction processing ……
Strangely, for some reason 95% of “houso” spontaneous combustion occurrences have since ceased ……!

UN and Hamas: Partners in Crime
by Robert Williams • December 4, 2023 at 5:00 am
To understand how the UN effectively runs the Hamas propaganda war, it is important to know that the UN, through its agency for Palestinian refugees, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), is effectively embedded with Hamas in the Gaza Strip…
“The UN has 13,000 employees in tiny Gaza. They know exactly what’s going on… They all knew Hamas’ terror infrastructure was in the hospital compound, where Israel wouldn’t attack. They lied to the world for 16 years. To paint Israel as evil.” — Hillel Neuer, Executive Director of UN Watch, November 16, 2023.
[T]he UN has sustained an incessant campaign, especially on social media, that accuses Israel of deliberately targeting schools, children, civilians, hospitals and healthcare workers. While those are protected from attack during war by international law, that protection does not apply to schools, hospitals and other civilian sites that are used for military purposes.
After Israel nukes gaza the UN should be next.
Matt Smith was better than Tennant — a good crazy vibe.

Huh. There’s something I was unaware of: The Peel Commission of 1937, where Arabs in then Palestine were to receive 80% of what remained after Transjordan had been sliced off. The Arabs rejected the proposal, whereas (according to this Youtube vid), the Jews reluctantly agreed.

I just read and saw a video of that bunch walking around Ballarat. They were calling out “Australia for the white man”. Maybe I missed something as that would make them white supremacists, which isn’t the same thing as being Nazis. Did I miss something?
It’s ironic that “from the river to the sea” doesn’t equal “ Australia for the white man”.
In the aftermath of the Six – Day War, the Israeli cabinet let it be known that there would be no return to the 1949 boundaries, but everything else was up for negotiation..
The Arab response was the “Declaration of Khartoum – “No recognition of Israel, No negotiation with Israel, No peace with Israel.”
Good luck dealing with that mentality.

Just so we are fully clear mate, because I’m not a sneaky shit, I down tick a lot of the mindless crap you post here.
The original Palestine Mandate included territory up to approximate 20 miles east of the Hejaz railway that passes though Amman. In 1920 the Mandate was altered, by nulling clauses for Jewish settlement east of the Jordan River. The British organised military known as the Arab Force gradually pushed the borders of the Arab state of Palestine, then called Trans Jordan, further east into Arabian regions and the part obviously ruled on a map that would protect transport from the Basra oil field to the port at Haifa with access to European markets.
Of course you would, Juan.

Mate, get the fck outta you worthless dickhead.
We’re not mates and never will be. Whack job.
Find your balls, like you do on the rare occasion and say something real but unpopular, and I’m the first to give you the big uptick.
But you prefer to waste your time on this sort of shit.
What the hell is wrong with you?
Thank God we’re not be oppressed by laughable wackanomic clowhshows you put on.
You Juan Peron wannabe.
Didn’t Daddy love you enough?
Still not talking to your mother, Juan?
Depraved and slaughtered.
My mother has been dead a year.
Next.
If you want to effectively chip me on something you have to be someone whose opinion I give a shit about.
Start contributing to the blog and you might earn that again.
Oh, okay. Last time i read you were scolding her .
Yeah right. You ignore all my comments and bare no ill will, just like now.
Why don’t you stop contributing. Last time you flounced and took off to the lollipop cat, you weren’t missed. Adam really didn’t like you much either did he? Unfortunately you skulked back here like a beaten up old dog.
..
I wish you only the best.
That’s not the same as being willing to put up with your crap.
..
If throughout your life you have mistaken those two things, it explains a lot.
I couldn’t care if you wish me the best or the worst.
And I consider your contributions here to be junk. Bolivation, and damaged ego bignoting. Just recall the recoil from folks when you posting stupid threads here. Wasn’t just me. 🙂
..
I don’t give two shits who “likes” me.
..
Can’t stand alone?

Robber Gets Beaten With A Chair
I think you did give two – three shits- even.
In any case you just continue downticking whatever you like. In fact receiving downticks from you are like upticks.
No, you ended up being disliked and took off claiming mental problems. First time I’ve agreed with you.
I haven’t been ambiguous . I’ve been pretty clear what I think of you and your worthless commenting. Surely, you don’t think I actually believe you’re a thought leader? Tell me so.
..
Nope.
And a really find this attempt by you to start an argument quite silly.
And performative for an audience. Because you know I know you.
There is no argument here.
I told you I sometimes downtick your more stupid shit and you consequently got abusive. Yet again.
The effect wears off.
Mate.
There was no need to telegraph your ticking behaviour as all you had to do is continue doing so . I really don’t give a shit.
Just like a know you. And the point is what eggsactly?
You’re the one who got abusive . No specifics, which is typical of you.
I will always explain why I find your comments stupid.
That’s totally believable, Juan
By the way, why did you remove all those thought leadership threads without even having the grace you were doing so by informing the blog owner? Classy stuff, mate.
..
Oh, poor you.
You’re a victim.
No biggie, I’m correcting your lies.
We done mate?
Just to summarise:
You say what you really think and show courage and I’ll uptick your comments.
You continue this popularity contest garbage and post simpering shite and I will express my opinion via a down tick.
We don’t like each other and I’m great with that.
I continue to wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous life.
Talk to you later.
Mate.
..
I don’t lie. I’m straightforward.
Hence my need to let you know where some of your downtick were coming from.
Later.
Mate.
They don’t f*ck around over there.
Non-essential Commentary November Highlights
I was done a long time ago, Juan.
It’s always this mal-adjusted ego problem with you isn’t it?
Posting comments on a blog isn’t courageous.
If you don’t like what the person thinks then say so, which is what I do. But courageous, get the fck out of here. Posting anon comments doesn’t have the hallmarks of being heroic.
Sure. But you could explain what exactly I’ve posted that you have issues with. You can’t though because you’re just bullshiitting
You keep saying. It’s getting old. I neither like nor dislike you I just think you’re an idiot with ego problems.
Sure.
Can you not?
You just lied accusing me being abusive, when you actually started this and ignored your own.
Do two things, down tick and explain why you have a problem. It’s actually more “courageous” seeing you have this courage thing going.
Juan
I don’t know if this is true. It is a striking example of the overwhelming supremacy of US military capability. I will not be surprised if it is true because I don’t buy into the argument that the US military has become woke and weak.
Nothing left alive.

I agree. There is one issue though, which is that the US appears to have recruiting and retention issues, possibly a problem because of the low unemployment rate and divergence between military pay vs the private sphere.
Example:
Comparably, airlines are bidding at $1 million comp at the moment from what I read rcently. The difference is enormous and guaranteed to cause attrition in the AF.
To emphasize, not all, but a decent part of the military these days – at least the US – is brain power, which is what you suggested a while ago. Within the next 30 years a lot of military work will be done with robots and AI.
The Israeli military is apparently using AI in its current Gaza operation.
By the way. the upper level with those inducements would take it up to 175K. Still a huge difference.

JC, that is a global problem. Many countries are having trouble finding military personnel. Years ago some chap stated there are more Australian fighter pilots in the Cathay Pacific pilot lounge than in the air force. Two prominent Youtubers, both former fighter pilots, are now commercial pilots.
The USA has a pilot shortage, so does Russia and I suspect other countries also have that problem. A NATO fighter pilot has about 200 flight hours per year. Transport pilots in the military accrue much longer hours. The vast majority of military personnel are not in glamourous roles. What is the incentive to join the military? Mel Gibson produced a series on navy personnel. One of the most cited reasons for joining the Navy was not to see the world or defend the country, it was for the benefits like education etc.
I don’t think it is just about pay or benefits. Military life can involve deployment here, there, and everywhere. Who wants to live a life constantly moving every few years or being away from family for months on end(navy)? Many opt for the regular stint to get the benefits and get out. Recent military adventurism by the USA has been a disaster, and no-one can seriously argue that the USA faces imminent military threats. The incentive structures are wrong.
I don’t want to diminish the role of frontline military personnel but I sometimes get the impression that people fail to realise modern military capability is very much about hardware and systems. It doesn’t matter how good the frontline personnel are, they cannot compensate for substandard hardware. Just ask a Russian tank crew. The F 35 is selling by the hundreds, they can’t build ’em quick enough, all other military aircraft are selling in low numbers. But the F 35 is slower than aircraft built 30 years ago, is not super maneuverable, and has a limited payload and range. What it has is an amazing information integration by digital means that enables pilots to focus on flying rather than managing all the other functions; and is so stealthy that long before an opponent has detected it the aircraft has fired its weapons and going home.

Good comment.
I think all NATO countries have volunteer forces. That’s costly compared to obligatory service. like in China of obvious reasons. It’s a serious issue. Government debt is big in all countries and this places financial constraints on things like pay.

Thanks Tom.
This paperback is very interesting, but I find it will never replace a hardcover book – it makes a very poor doorstop.

Someone has been into the paint thinners overnight I see.
Rule No 1.
Don’t mention down ticking to JC.
Must be the meds he’s on. The prescription medication is telling Juanita Peron he’s back to running the blog again.
The chant in Ballarat was once policy.
During World War II, Prime Minister John Curtin reinforced the policy, saying “This country shall remain forever the home of the descendants of those people who came here in peace in order to establish in the South Seas an outpost of the British race.”
Funny how the heroes of Labor never get examined by the woke mob.
Rooster, mention it anytime you like. The only time I’ve ever highlighted the ticking is that some of the worst vermin here are gaming it. That’s been proven beyond doubt Ticking suits you, because you’ve always come across as kind of weak and you can hide behind it instead of what coming out with an opinion. It’s not as though you’re not following the crowd.
Also Rooster, you obviously missed that it was Juanita Peron, who said he was into the downticking thing, and not me as I don’t tick. You’re such a sneaky, passive aggressive little turd.
