Since 2008, ironically, at the beginning of the Kenyan’s presidency, the US media has been on a single course direction to portray whites as evil and blacks as permanently oppressed. All communication in fact has run that way from the MSM, blue states and the federal government.

Accept what you say JC but I would be interested in further detail. For example, does the average white US citizen recognise their society is becoming more “them and us”?

They certainly do but it is not black and white it is red and blue.

Italy: Catholic Diocese Urges Faithful to Participate in Islamic Prayers During Ramadan (11 Mar)

The Catholic Herald reported Friday that the Italian diocese of Bergamo is “instructing its priests to participate in Islamic rituals, citing Pope Francis’ directives on interreligious dialogue.”

So…which one is the prophet, Jesus or Mohammed?

I don’t suppose the bishop of Bergamo would be able to give a straight answer.

Ken Buck, a never Trumper and RINO, is leaving congress next week and apparently taking another 3 RINOs with him. This will reduce the 218 – 213 GOP majority to at most 2. If the demorats held the house when Trump became POTUS they could disenfranchise him. Lauren Boebert was going to run in Buck’s seat but could have been rejected by the RINOs after giving up her current seat reducing the majority by another. She has rejected this preserving the slim GOP House majority.

The left play politics so much better than the right.

A Dutch court of appeals has decided that a small group of climate activists who received two month in jail for gluing themselves to Johannes Vermeer‘s The Girl with the Pearl Earring no longer need to serve their sentence.

According to CNN, the court said that the three activists, who are part of the protest group Just Stop Oil Belgium, spent 23 days in holding cells leading up to the trial. The court ruled that additional prison time “would have been excessive.”

The court added that doling out a severe punishment might have a “chilling effect,” and that it wanted to ensure that those who want to peacefully protest or exercise their right to freedom of expression aren’t discouraged.

The left control the system. Anyone who seeks justice in the system has their head up their arse.

Professor Clancy and many within the medical and research community have a very different view. The symptom presentation is different. Even the claim it is a respiratory infection is up for debate because the serious impact is on the vascular network, although numerous studies highlight wide ranging organ damage.

Oh John H, you are so right! I especially think that the vascular network is severely compromised in initial and recovering phases in many cases of Covid. Why some are severely affected is no different, I guess, from most other issues in medicine.

So….even though I would concur that there are structural similarities between Post Viral Syndrome and Long Covid/Long Vax, this swine of a spike pathogen has more secret weapons than we ever imagined. As my GP mumbled, “Well, its not natural, is it?”

Prof. Clancy is such an under utilised resource for Covid! He is an expert in respiratory and other immunological disorders & from the get-go noted that it was generated in the mucosal system and predicted (to no effect!) that vaccines would ever stop it. He is currently exploring ways of helping those who are severely compromised by Long Covid or Long Vax. He is a bloody angel – because virtually no GPs or specialists seem brave enough to go near it.

Incidentally, the vascular effect of Covid is often overlooked – even though myocarditis and periocarditis are now recognised complications -especially in relation to the effects of the reproductive spike proteins in the gene therapy (AKA mRNA vaccines).

It’s not TikTok they want to ban, it X and Rumble. This is only setting the precedent. Nancy Polosi is pushing it for all she’s worth. That should tell you something.

This TikTok bill is the Alex Jones of the legislative world.

Start by targeting an app that has been demonized, and then use the tactic to stifle/suppress other social media platforms.

This will eventually target any politically disfavoured speech under the TikTok pretext.

Mainstream News is Committing Suicide

“Virtually everyone I talk to thinks mainstream news is just propaganda. COVID drove a spike through the very heart and soul of the First Amendment. Even five years later, people generally respected the news. COVID appears to have been the death knell to mainstream news. This chart shows the results of Gallop Polls, and the trust in American media is down well below 40%. Our models warn that when confidence in government falls below 40%, governments begin to collapse.

Last October, the Pew Research Center reported that Americans follow the news less closely than they used to. I remember growing up, and my father and mother would first watch the nightly news, and then the shows would come on. Never did I ever hear my father call the news fake or propaganda. Indeed, back in 2016, 51% of American adults surveyed indicated that they do so “all or most of the time.” That number dropped to 38% in 2022.”

I can’t dismiss the possibility the virus was engineered. It can’t be proven but it is a remarkable coincidence that it originated in a city with a biolab. I suspect agencies are avoiding that conclusion because there are many biolabs and governments don’t want protests about gain of function research.

I contracted the virus when I visited two people. They said they weren’t feeling well and I asked them 3 times if they did a RAT. They replied it wasn’t Covid. They never did a RAT because they had a recent booster shot so thought it couldn’t be Covid. Three days later they told me it was Covid. I was furious because in the interim I was visiting people. I was sick for one day, I had two shots to maintain access, the last a year beforehand. Both of them were sick for weeks, the older one was hit hard. When he came out of hospital I took one look at him and perceived damage upstairs. He’s been going downhill ever since. I was taking zinc, magnesium and D.

There’s esoteric and then there’s really really esoteric.

Contagious disease spread through faeces runs rampant amongst psychedelic festival-goers as health officials urge better hygiene (Sky News, 15 Mar)

A highly contagious bowel disease, spread through faeces-to-mouth contact, has broken out at a psychedelic bush doof festival in Victoria.

A Shigellosis disease outbreak has been confirmed at Victoria’s Esoteric Festival, with festival-goers warned that the highly contagious bowel infection can have dire symptoms.

Shigellosis (Shigella) is a bowel infection that is often spread by coming into contact with infected faeces.

It can be spread by getting the bacteria on your hands and touching your mouth, or sexually by oral-anal contact.

Health authorities are urging Victorians who attended the Esoteric Festival from March 8 to March 12 to get tested for shigella immediately if they experience gastro-like symptoms.

The warning follows a confirmed outbreak of the disease at the psychedelic event, held in Donald, almost 300km from Melbourne.

People with symptoms are urged to practice safer sex, maintain good hygiene, practice handwashing, and avoid preparing food for others.

Maybe get tested for monkey pox as well, you never know.

The world’s heaviest blueberry has been grown by a farm in Australia.

WE need to knock this on the head. It originated in the Wuhan Lab. Simple probability analysis shows that you can bet your dog on it. How many wet markets in China 10,000? 100, 000 – let’s say 50,000. The probability that it originated from a wet market next to a Lab working on exactly these projects then is 1 in 50,000 i.e. 0.00002%. The wet market pangolin or bat or wombat origin is just a cover. It certainly came from the Lab.

Judge asks whether Higgins should be recalled over $2.4m compo evidence

By stephen rice
NSW Editor
Updated 7:08PM March 15, 2024, First published at 5:45PM March 15, 2024

The judge in Bruce Lehrmann’s defamation case has sensationally asked whether Brittany Higgins should be recalled to give evidence about her $2.4m compensation payout, after the Ten Network suggested it would be unfair to her for the court to make findings about whether she had made false representations to the commonwealth.

Justice Michael Lee emailed parties to the defamation case earlier this week after receiving a submission from Ten that allegations Ms Higgins had “committed a fraud on the commonwealth” should not be adjudicated in the case.

Mr Lehrmann’s lawyers had argued that Ms Higgins made 11 separate representations about her alleged rape in her settlement that were either false or contradicted by her own evidence in the defamation case.

Ms Higgins made false representation “for the purposes of securing a life-changing payment” and were a breach of the warranties made by her in the deed, Mr Lehrmann’s lawyers alleged.

Ten had argued it was not its responsibility to act in Ms Higgins’ interest over the allegations, but said Justice Lee “should not make very serious findings of the kind alleged against an unrepresented witness who has not been heard in respect of them”.

Justice Lee noted Ten’s submission seemed to suggest there would be a denial of procedural fairness if he “considered it necessary to make any finding as to whether false representations had been made in the deed because it is relevant to any general credit finding made in relation to Ms Higgins”

In his email, released by the Federal Court on Friday, Justice Lee accepted he should not make any findings as to the legal characterisation of any false representations but wanted to know what Ten was suggesting if the submissions were about her credit as a witness. The judge expressed the view that recalling Ms Higgins was unnecessary but warned that “nothing in this email indicates a view, one way or another, as to the underlying merit of any credit submission based on the commonwealth deed”.

In response, Ten barrister Matt Collins KC said it would be “inappropriate for this court to make any finding as to the characterisation of Ms Higgins’ conduct contended for by Mr Lehrmann – in substance that she was prepared to tell lies, including elaborate lies, in respect of matters that she warranted to be true and correct with the intention of inducing the commonwealth of Australia to enter into the deed which provided for the payment of a life-changing settlement sum”.

“It would be extraneous to the determination of the issues in this case to make any findings as to the legal characterisation of any findings of any false representations in the deed (should they be made)”, Mr Collins argued.

The representations in the deed could only be considered “as part of an assessment of the general credit of Ms Higgins in the limited relevant sense, which is in short whether it discloses a preparedness to tell lies on solemn occasions that infects the court’s assessment of the evidence she gave in this proceeding”.

The majority of the inconsistent claims in the deed had been put to Ms Higgins in cross-examination, so Ten did not consider it necessary to recall her to the witness box to provide her with procedural fairness, Mr Collins submitted.

Earlier this month, Mr Lehrmann’s lawyers set out a detailed comparison of the claims Ms Higgins made in the commonwealth deed with her evidence in the still-to-be-decided defamation case.

Among the claims made by Ms Higgins in the settlement deed, but disputed in a submission by Mr Lehrmann’s legal team, led by Steven Whybrow SC, were:

• That Mr Lehrmann got into Ms Higgins’ taxi on the night of the alleged rape without her agreement (she testified she had agreed).

• That he directed the cab to stop at Parliament House without her agreement (she gave evidence that she “just went along with it”);

• That he directed her to get out of the cab (she testified that “I don’t know why, but when it stopped I got out too”);

• That they didn’t speak on the Monday afterwards (they had coffee and exchanged emails).

Mr Lehrmann’s lawyers also point to claims made in the deed that have been strongly disputed in evidence, including that Ms Higgins told Fiona Brown – who was the chief of staff of Miss Higgins’ boss at the time, senator Linda Reynolds – that he had sexually assaulted her, an allegation that has always been vehemently denied by Ms Brown.

The settlement deed also stated Senator Reynolds did not engage with Ms Higgins at all during the election campaign. “She avoided (Ms Higgins) and made clear she did not want (Ms Higgins) attending events with her,” the settlement deed stated.

In fact, Ms Higgins was photographed seated next to Senator Reynolds during the election.

Giving evidence at the defamation trial, Ms Higgins said she was “accidentally” seated next to the then minister because she was one of the last to arrive.

The Albanese government paid Ms Higgins $2.445m in the settlement, which relied entirely on her version of events, after a single day of mediation that excluded evidence from Senator Reynolds.

Earlier this year, The Australian revealed that the National Anti-Corruption Commission was examining a complaint by Senator Reynolds against Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus over his handling of the Higgins settlement, to determine if an investigation should be launched.

(Apologies, unable to link.) (This paper was front page of the NYT supporting the theory the virus could not have come from the lab.)

The Commentary showing the order of magnitude errors was published August 2023. The authors of the paper corrected their calculations October 2023 without reference to the PubPeer Commentary.

Work to come, from Neo. Ech., may further reduce the paper’s findings that the pandemic was the result of multiple zoonotic introductions of the virus, and demonstrate how the virus had just one source and could only have been ‘constructed’.

Lyon postcard.
It was an interesting journey.
The airport bus was a little late, I lashed out and paid 50c extra for the express.
Air Malta flight to Lyon was full so I’m glad I booked it three weeks ago. I could have gone to Brussels instead, didn’t think of that. Next time.
The Rhone Express navette is just two carriages, and was crowded. There was an ad for it running on a loop as we travelled, not quite the same as reality.
My google transport options kept changing as the journey progressed, I should have clicked on ‘start’ but decided to just get to Part Dieu and take it from there.
I thought I would be taking an underground metro but though they have those it was trams on wheels for me.
I was a little confused and asked a young lady in a jihad for confirmation I was in the right place, I was but it was a forty minutes wait. Another young women was very excited to help me, took me to the ticket machine I was a little wary, she was very helpful but put her hand on my credit card, but I was able to quickly grab it without a problem and put it away. She may have had no ill intention but it was an odd thing to do. Her and her two friends said it would be quicker to take a different tram and change, they caught the tram two stops with me. The boy wanted to practice his English asked me in a funny way where I was from. Australia. That’s near Germany he said. My father is from Germany. I think he meant Turkey but anyhow I managed to establish that Australia was not near Germany. My suitcase kept wanting to get a seat in the next carriage and another kind gentleman kept stopping it for me. After my three little friends were gone he pointed out the location of my connecting tram as we rolled to a stop. Got out, it’s dark, there’s an underground metro station nearby about six intersecting streets with buses and trams going in all directions with me peering at Google maps trying to follow the blue line. Another local, this time an older Chinese gentleman asked me if I needed help, I showed him, follow me he said, then where are you from. Australia? I’m from London myself. Tram found, boarded, offered a seat by a North African, declined. My place is on the other side of the river, location somewhat bleak so I bought a baguette to cheer myself up. My self entry instructions was via a video starting with a lock box attached to a bicycle rack on the other side of the street. Evening prayers had obviously just finished near by as there were a lot of men in traditional Muslim costume walking my way. After finding the first key, got inside, found the second set of keys, started hauling suitcase up ancient narrow staircase. Young man entered, offered some help. I gratefully accepted it for the last six steps around the corner.
Inside I smell cigarettes, not strong but there. Contracted the host who offered to switch me to a different apartment next door, so I’ll be moving today. Sat on edge of bed, mattress tipped and put me on the floor. For some reason the mattress is wider than the base and whoever had made the bed hadn’t centred it so about six inches on the left was hanging off. Then for the first time since I’ve been here I obviously hadn’t drunk enough water and got cramps in my left leg, mattress tipped again.
Fortunately Lyonese tap water is tolerable so I drank it, and all was well.
Despite the tipping quality the bed was comfortable, though I don’t know how a couple would go, it’s a very small double. The trick seems to be to approach it from the right, then it doesn’t try to throw you off.
I’m in a suburb called Caluire et Cuire, close to the river probably not the best choice but there is plenty of public transport and I’ll make the best of it.
Everything is different in daylight.

Apropos of nothing:
While waiting in line to vote early in the local council erections (sic) this afternoon, I noted a bloke sitting in a high-set wheelchair named Bob Connolly. He was standing for a division not my own, but when I voiced to no-one in particular that local councils were far too big for their boots, and that I wanted to know which candidate was in favour of a back-to-basics approach, he broke the sound of crickets and uncomfortable sky-gazing by agreeing. (I think. He started to mention living a few years in France and how their political system operated – re taxes and their destination – but I had to move on).

I haven’t followed professional sport for at least a decade, but I do know that the same bloke coached the Reds for a bit, and perhaps briefly the Wobblies as well? Dunno what confined him to the chair.

So…which one is the prophet, jesus or mohammered?

Cats, I was cogitatin’ on this controversial subject today while going about the daily business.

Let’s start with the alleged “son of god”. I can accept that there may have been a personage who existed back in Roman times in Judea who was known as “Jesus”. The Romans and their satraps correctly perceived him to be a communist hippy troublemaker.

Was he the “son of god”? Seriously?

Those simple Judean peoples existed back in very superstitious times. The Romans were about the only peoples on the planet who were even remotely “evidence based”, hence their still relevant engineering and cultural advances. They also did not put up with any crap from back o’ buggery hippy egotists, a lesson that needs to be relearned again, in this supposedly “modern age”

So, no. He was not the son of a non existent god, despite the fawning pieces posted by his j’ismist press corps (all twelve of them) claiming that he was.

As for mo the hammered – yeah, well, there is no evidence of that monumental fascist imbecile’s existence.

Religion, Cats. It is, as far as I’m concerned, supercilious, superstitious bullshit.

So feel free to have at it, I tells ya. 🙂

Not at all. It is well established that there is an element of truth in many stories but most of the story is made up. Geomythology is an interesting example. There are stories from primitive societies that mythologise a big geologic event. They dress it up with supernatural creatures. We laugh at their explanations because we know about volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis.

The gospels are like that. Why should we believe that an account written many decades after the events is reliable? In any other situation we would laugh at the idea that someone could accurately recall all the relevant details. Even studies on eye witness testimonies raise serious questions about those testimonies being reliable evidence. As a copper once said to me: there are 3 sides to every story, what the accuser said, what the accused said, and what happened. The famous experiments of Elizabeth Loftus highlight how we can easily make stuff up about past events.
