Australia ain’t what it was

Australia voted for the non-existent Palestinian state to be accorded (almost) full membership of the UN. Even the UK didn’t go that far, abstaining, along with 24 other countries. Eight honourable countries voted with Israel to oppose the resolution – the USA, Hungary, PNG, Nauru, Micronesia, Palau, the Czech Republic and Argentina.

Australia was part of the hateful 143 countries which effectively voted for the destruction of Israel and the killing of Jews. Can it be put more nicely? Perhaps. But what does it mean to Israel if those sworn to its destruction are given an elevated status in the UN, and so quickly after October 7? How can that be interpreted in any benign way?

It would be a mistake not to put Australia’s vote into context. And the context is the pernicious undermining of Australian values which has been going on since the 1980s; maybe before. It’s always hard to spot the actual start of a societal decline. But certainly the values of Bob Hawke and later John Howard are at a great distance from where we are now in the hands of Anthony Albanese and Penny Wong.

Wong calling for a ceasefire in Gaza is seemly never ending. What she doesn’t do is to clearly state the conditions for a sustained ceasefire. Namely, the defeat of Hamas or the surrender of Hamas. Everything else is a just talky-talk. Empty. It’s not hard Ms Wong, if you concentrate. One side is only interested in the destruction of the other. One side is committed to the annihilation of the other. Pardon me for being rational but there can be no sustainable peace between Nazis and Jews. The Nazi’s have to be put down. Then there can be peace.

A large part of the problem when it comes to Israel is Muslim immigration allied with politicians who will sell any principle for a vote. But really you have to go to the takeover of institutions by latter-day Marxists. That’s why we have inundated Australia with people of quite different and, in the case of Muslims in particular, clashing cultures. As, of course, have most Western countries. Multiculturism is simply another term for the destruction and replacement of Judeo-Christan Western culture – which just happens to be the best culture yet invented. Ho-hum, let’s flush it down the drain.

What a lark it must be for commies who have reached positions of power and influence in schools, in universities, in public services, in parliaments, in governments, in the mainstream media, in the legal profession and on the bench. Take aim at the successful capitalist state of Israel, overwhelm the populace with foreigners intent on not assimilating, destroy the sanctity of the traditional family with gay marriage and transgenderism, undermine traditional values full stop with critical race theory, DEI, ESG, and other woke nonsenses, and employ fanatics like Chris Bowen to destroy the cheap energy underlying our prosperity.

Game set and match. Breakdown national cohesion, sow distrust, engender impoverishment and dependency, and create a new order to solve it. Engels and Marx might have scripted it.

I remain astonished at the resilience of Israel as a nation. We Australians are soft, flabby, ungrateful, and – with statistically minute exceptions – locked into a world of fantasy.

As an individual, the only solution I can see is to disconnect, disengage, and become a modern ronin; masterless, but without purpose.

Do we have the latest poll of Gaza’s citizens re their support for hamas and it’s actions?
Is it still running at ~80% approval?

The UN’s acceptance of genocide of Jews of Israel falls neatly within the left’s destruction of western society. Jews have the honour of being the primary target of hatred by tyrannies.

The sooner the IDF destroy Hamas and those hiding them, the sooner the UN can be forced to be rational. In fact, perhaps West Israel can be made into a protectorate.

The leftist commentariat who make up most of the MSM these days continue to be a malign force. They talk about Gazans as if they were innocent civilians, not complicit in the actions of Hamas. Much was made of “denazification” of Germany after WW2, and the remaking of Japan’s constitution with an emphasis on peace, with a military structured for defence and not attack.
As long as the prevailing narrative regarding “palestinians” continues to propagandise the lumpenproletariat we will have stupidity and duplicity as the main ingredients of our political machinations. With so many state Labor government plus the Feds, you have to ask how this has happened. It has happened in no small part because of the makeup of the MSM. It’s not that long ago that many told me that “the media doesn’t matter”. It does.

Peter, it is indeed distressing for so many of us who have observed the transformation of Australian society through the welcoming of cultures which conflict with our values, But the ideological attacks on the education of our children have also completely undermined the beliefs and values of those who will inherit this nation.

Unbelievable to us of the older generation to see the applause from this cowardly Government Corporations, the Universities, students and Australians, for barbarians who advertise and celebrate that barbarity. The Nazis tried to hide what they did.
Israel is the canary and as all Western infidel nations have the islamic trojan horse within, we are in their sights. It’s not stopping at Israel.

‘Australia’ didn’t vote for that, unless you believe that Wong and DFAT are ‘Australia.’

Major decisions made in the name of the people are more and more likely to have excluded the people.

Given the significance of this vote it is telling that Wong and Albanese did not have the courage to canvas what Australia’s vote with the wider general public.

Perhaps because they feared the answer they would receive.

That this vote was done now is an indication that UN is a cesspool of Jew haters. Anti-semites is too bland a word. Tell it like it is.

Game set and match. Breakdown national cohesion, sow distrust, engender impoverishment and dependency, and create a new order to solve it. Engels and Marx might have scripted it.

The Greens have picked up the script and run with it with their ears back.

There is little or no chance of a significant ‘Muslims for Greens’ vote, but the whole keffiyeh-wearing, useful idiot, activist movement plays directly into their hands in the contested urban seats of Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

An example of Student Common Room politics – now amplified to be an existential threat to Labor government:

Just published data from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade shows that in February 2024 alone Australia directly exported over $1.5 million in ‘arms and ammunition’ to Israel.

This most recent version of DFAT’s monthly ‘country and commodity pivot tables’ shows that the value of the February 2024 exports was nearly as much as the entire value of direct ‘arms and munitions’ exports to Israel since the Albanese Government came to power, collectively over $3.25 million.

Greens Senator and Defence Spokesperson David Shoebridge said: “Make no mistake the Albanese Labor Government by permitting these exports to Israel is complicit in the genocide that is occurring.

The naked ‘two state’ nonsense is a figleaf. Albanese and Wong are staring down the prospect of a Labor-Green Coalition, with Bandt holding the family jewels in his squirrel grip.

The cost of throwing Israel to its enemies, in terms of collateral damage caused by Australia’s indirect support of the Axis of Xi, domestic social unrest, and the actual safety of Australian citizens beset by antisemitism, is a modest price to pay for more Albanese.

Apparently.

It has been very revealing to see what is inside the brains of the Labor Party, the Greens and the intellectual classes.

Ironic that we fought and so many men and women died to overthrow the Nazi regime in Germany, only for the same sort of people to now be our government and upper class here eighty years later.

For what it’s worth, and I grant you not much in the grand scheme of things, I have been wearing my “I stand with Israel” polo shirt all weekend. Whether going to the shops, Bunnings etc., I have done so.

Black polo with yellow Star of David with the words underneath, it is one of the very few ways I can show my support.

I’m ashamed of what we have done in the UN.

IMHO this vote has non-credible reasoning behind it and is certainly a departure from how previous governments would have dealt with terrorists.
So I would quibble only with this statement:

How can that be interpreted in any benign way?

You ask this as a merely rhetorical question, but it isn’t because it has an answer. Wongbot nearly said it outright.

If you grant Palestine the status of a country like any other it removes what precious little substance there is in their rationale for violence. They can’t claim to be fighting for an independent Palestine if it already is one. Only their unconscionable motives would remain.
The answers are 1) that Palestine might respect borders more if they had an equal status country of their own to protect (not credible), 2) that Palestine might be more restrained now that they have some status that can be taken away from them again for bad behaviour (not credible), and 3) that any solution likely will be a compromise that neither side really wanted which is the two-state solution (credible).

DFAT may be underestimating the obviously religious basis of the violence that has remained long after the borders were drawn. UN Observer status has no effect on that dimension.
It also ignores the role Iran is playing behind the scenes. A practical smoking gun level of evidence would be needed to punish Iran for actions taken in Palestine.

“…any solution likely will be a compromise that neither side really wanted which is the two-state solution”

Ham-arse will never accept this- except perhaps as a fig-leaf to hide behind while they re-arm.
How do I know?
Because they have been offered it before, and rejected it then – several times.

Not only that, they would then lose the UNRWA – they would no longer be “under occupation”,they would no longer be “refugees”, they would no longer be “the oppressed”, they could no longer blame others for their own economic incompetence. With no-one else to blame, the Gazans would blame their “leaders” for their malaise – as well they should. Those “leaders” – who live outside Gaza in idle luxury – will never allow it.

Comments here indicate that many people are not aware of the story of the creation of the state of Israel, which is effectively the Criminal Apartheid Zionist Settler State in Occupied Palestine. With mainly immigrant Jews murdering Palestinians and progressively stealing more and more of their land since 1948. It started during World War 1 with the British having influential Jews in the US manipulate it into joining the War effort with promise that they would create a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Which was not supposed to disadvantage people who already lived there. However, since 1948, Jews from anywhere in the world who have wanted to immigrate there have been accepted. Seems heritage of most is NOT from Palestinian Jews of biblical times but the rogue state of Khazaria north and east of the Black Sea which was converted to Judaism around 1250 years ago. Note there are decent Jews who oppose the existence and misbehaviour of the present government of Israel. Lately thanks to the Internet making more information available about it that the strongly Jewish influenced mainstream media is not inclined to publish, Palestinians are getting a lot more well deserved support. Also, now almost certain that state of Israel will lose a lot of financial and military backing from the US especially. Probably resulting in its demise as has long been hated for good reasons by its neighbours. Regarding the attack by Hamas, this was basically a long festering large sore erupting. Then the retaliation by Israeli government against Palestinians has been many times worse, Seems to me that active opponents of the Israelis government including Hezbellah some Iraqis and the Houthis of Yemen are doing a good job hindering it. Also are indications this attack by Hamas may have been a “False flag” atrocity covertly arranged by Zionists with the aim of providing excuse to drive Palestinians Gaza into Sinai desert of Egypt so they could take over the territory. Check story of USS Liberty incident of 1967 to see classic precedent of dirty tricks they get up to.

  1. No essential service should be in private hands. We let stinking effing politicians sell them so they could waste money…
