Expect the Donald will go medieval this time. Hereโ€™s hoping.

No-one expects the Inquisition.
But perhaps they should.
Apart from Thoroughly Modern Millie, I think you can expect to see a Secret Service which looks a little more Seal Team Six and a little less Girl Guides.
And I think Universities running protection rackets for anti-Semitic Hamarse sympathisers will also cop heat.
Above all, domestic squirrels can breath a little easier tonight.

And men win the 2024 US presidential election!
Considering that there are more women, and they vote in greater numbers than men, and they vote like crazy for their fellow witches, this great victory just goes to show how much better men are than women at, well, almost everything.

It wasn’t exactly legalized as in “grow your own and fire up”.

It was to be legalized in the sense that you could only buy it at hugely inflated prices from the mega-company who paid zillions to get that on the ballot.

Not only did the women not win it for Harris, the woman didnโ€™t win.

An utterly parasitic point of view. Why would you assume that โ€œwomenโ€ would vote for Kamala?

This is the crux of identity politics. If you can have a candidate who ticks several victimology boxes, the punters will fall in behind. Barry O’Bummer realised too late this was failing, hence his hectoring of young black men as misogynists for not buying into Kamal-toe’s message (whatever it was).
Incidentally, one reason I believe African-Americans dumped Kamal-toe is that she is a middle class Indian trying to pass herself off as African-American.

When you canโ€™t even define what a woman is?

Quite so.

Apparently Hispanics voted for Trump because they think he can ‘magically’ reduce grocery prices and they are misogynists.
Trump can reduce grocery prices, possibly quite quickly, by reducing energy prices.
I hope they hit the ground running.

The dire consequences of abortion bans for womenโ€™s health are now evident, and will continue under a Trump presidency.

Has anyone of these dizzyingly highly educated nufties bothered to ask themselves under what Constitutional head Trump might ban, or that tinted (but not Black) accent chameleon Harris guarantee access to, abortion.

I do understand that Harris doesn’t understand that there are limits to Presidential and Federal power, but do none of them get it?

They were arguing that you should vote for that insubstantial wraith-like creature on the basis of something she could not deliver.

I think the underlying aim was for Harris to flood the Supreme Court with new appointments extra-Constitutionally, and to bring back Roe vs. Wade.

Zatara

November 7, 2024 5:15 am

The underlying aim was to put a bunch of click bait stuff on the ballots like abortion, marijuana, etc. to attract voters.

Then you do advertising to make it seem like Trump was anti all that stuff so the click bait voting spilled over on him.

It didn’t work.

I confess that whilst I wished, hoped and prayed that Orange Man would win, I was scared shitless he wouldn’t which is why I feared the worst and couldn’t commit. You see, back in 2020 I had watched in real time the Trump election lead evaporate before our eyes when the Arizona count was shut down.

I was scarred. Tonight I met some fellow Cats for drinks, Lizzie, Tinta, Rafe, Beery and others. We’re all soooooo happy and yes, I’ve had a few champers.

I can’t tell you how happy I am. My sister is happy, my mother is happy, my best friend is happy, I’m happy!

As an aside, it was quiet at work today, with many watching the election count on their laptops. Nobody said much but their were grins and smirks. I heard some gasps of horror in the background. I did whisper privately with two colleagues, both offspring of Lebanese migrants, one Christian and one Muslim. Both Trump supporters…..telling.

Donald Trump went to Dearborn last week, where he was warmly received. He has a multi-ethnic family, standing on the podium tonight was his Arab son-in-law and his Jewish son-in-law.

Donald Trump isn’t just a deal maker, he’s also a peace maker and most critically, for the West and for you and I, he’s also a woke breaker.

I love Donald Trump.

Loads of thanks to Tinta and her spouse for arriving early with catering trays of varied sandwiches, suchi and pre-cooked and delicious chicken wings. We started after 3pm and those at work came later but still in time to share in the lead up to the call that Trump was now President-elect. Gilas kept his essential pessimism flowing until it was overtaken by chianti and other inebriating vino in our riotous crowd. Too big to rig won!!

Sydney Cats or visiting ones who’d like to join in occasional pub meet-ups should get in touch with me or Rabz via email (from Dover). I don’t wish to rain on anyone’s parade, but the time for post-Trump planning must start NOW. It cannot be taken for granted that J.D. or Tulsi will simply step into Trump’s large shoes with ease and be accepted by the Old Guard Republicans. We’ve seen what damage can be done in the short period of four years … for Trump’s second and last presidency to have a lasting legacy, it is vital that nothing is left to chance or luck.

(I recall raising a similar concern about halfway through Trump’s first presidency, to which several here responded ‘Mike Pence will be fine’).

Anthony Albanese has congratulated Donald Trump on winning the US election and pledged to work with the Republican leader, but it will be a tricky time for the Prime Minister given his past criticisms of the resurgent US president.

Kamala is about to learn just how quickly progressive idolatry can transform into communal loathing.

Look at the case of Ruth Bader Ginsberg. She was a progressive saint for – whatever passes as such among progressives, god, knows.

Even as the sight of her greyed and lost the cues of vitality that she became indistinguishable from an autopsy photo the left used to hold her up and rattle her skeletal carcass and sing orisons to this progressive semi-deity.

Then Trump got in. And scientists like those who measure magnetospheres on planets thousands of lightyears away finally conclude RBG had quietly slipped across some death horizon and could finally be counted among the carked, and Trump got to pick her replacement .

Then she was suddenly a traitor, selfishly clinging on rather than dying under the jug-eared stammering grammatical infliction*.

*The obnoxious turd thought that to anything he saw, heard, or knew, that it was he who made it real and significant. Was there ever a more self-important bloviator?

How Trump victory leaves Starmer isolated on the world stage

With Donald Trump securing a crushing victory over Kamala Harris in the US presidential election, Keir Starmerโ€™s dream of a social democratic, centre-left version of the famous Thatcher/ Reagan partnership between Downing Street and the White House is in tatters.

Instead, the prime minister is now faced with a US administration he is not just far away from ideologically, but one which is openly hostile to a Labour government that Trumpโ€™s campaign team previously described as โ€œfar leftโ€.

Another peanut.

Re the Cat POTUS poll….will wait until the count is declared or whatever they do there, and announce First and Second.

One thing I don’t understand about US politics is why they will now have two months of a “President-elect” and a lame-duck Pres (and VP) – what a lame pair Biden and Cackle will make indeed.

I presume the old administration can’t enact policy, but apart from the need to get the big podium together in Washington, and the outgoing lot to clear their desks why can’t they just roll on to a new Pres and admin straight away?

Maybe in two weeks not two months?

Yep ABC nightly news coverage was comically pathetic.
David Speers, supposed elder statesman accross multiple channels, never saw it coming, could hardly put a coherent sentence together.
Saaaraaa Ferguson waving her pen and palm around across the desk and the satellite ether as numerous scripted insights suddenly occurred to her. “Kammalla” rhymed with camera, in rapid old Adelaide.
Lotsa talk of divisiveness, personal attacks, uncertainty and disruption.
Kammalla’s supporters were a yuge crowd of twentysomething dusky femmes- who were stiffed outside her university.
Trump’s supporters were three odd hicks in a deserted ballroom.
Rabz doctrine, Trump mandate, now.

Leigh Sales brings the pathetic:

It is truly extraordinary the Democrats have convincingly lost a presidential election against one of the most discredited figures in modern American political history โ€” a convicted felon, no less.

And yet, the challenges for the Democratic Party, and the campaign’s obvious mistakes and missteps, have been clear from the day Kamala Harris became the nominee.

There is little that’s surprising about Donald Trump’s victory beyond the obvious shock that a candidate so vulgar and base โ€” last week, he pretended to fellate a microphone, just the latest pitiful example in a long line โ€” is not unelectable.

Here are six obvious reasons why the Democrats were on track to lose:

Yeah sweetheart you would have had more credibility if you published this yesterday. Instead you published some dumb Harris hagiography as if she was a sure thing. Useless lying f*cking hack.

No difference. Trump has 71m and will end up about 74m which is about the same as last time.

The difference is that they didnโ€™t turn Kamalaโ€™s (66m now) 70m into 81m this time around.

But sure. 11m people who absolutely had to vote last time stayed at home this time. Sure.

If the 20m votes were legitimate, then they could be explained with one word:

Catholics

The rising Hispanic population in the USA has meant a rising Catholic population.

One of the few advantages of Sleepy Joe was that as a Catholic himself, the Democrats had some appeal to them. Harris had no such benefit.

And rather than even see this as an issue, the Democrats gleefully took to punching down on Catholics. There was the mockery of the Blessed Sacrament by Whitmer, and othering of Christians for so much as saying “Jesus is Lord”. When a leading Catholic bishop said vote Trump last week, it was the final nail in the coffin.

If the impact of Catholics in the USA is now 20 million votes, future presidential candidates will ignore them at their peril.

There’s a developmental term for it but I can’t think of it at the moment.
And there’s no way an adult can argue them out of this belief. Because if you could, it would take them out of their childhood development stage and turn them into questioning adults – and they won’t do that because their childhood is a warm blanket against a cold and adult world.

The MSM can be expected to turn on a dime and segue from lauding the Biden Harris record of achievements to damning Trump. Of course they have been doing that all along, some really nasty ones among them!

There have been so many Big Lies, and the border has been one of them. At the end they were still saying that the Dems had a bill to fix the border but that the republicans didn’t agree!

Their bills didn’t usually do what the title said. Mayorkas should be made to pay, but he’s not the only one. I expect to hear a lot more about “healing” and “unity” from people who should be jailed.

We also have memories – Biden on Day One stopped the wall. We have watched as millions came into the US without any control apart from directing them all over the place and giving them free stuff.

This is an honest, no holds barred review of what happened from Spiked.

The crumbling of the Democratic empire

Harrisโ€™s defeat last night is not a temporary setback but the harbinger of an ongoing imperial crisis. Simply put, the empire, dominated by the rich and those feeding off government largesse, whose ranks have burgeoned under Biden, simply has no comprehension of the economic fears, or concerns over crime and the border, that are felt in large parts of the country. The fact that Harris hails from California, and rose up the political ranks in San Francisco, a city of massive class divides that has fallen into dystopian ruin, did not help.

One of the biggest disconnects between the elites and the people is on climate issues, which have achieved an almost theological hold on progressives, particularly in Harrisโ€™s California base. Yet the fact remains that only a tiny number of Americans prioritise climate change over bread-and-butter issues. Of course, investors in economically inefficient solar and wind energy favour ever more public subsidies, even if renewables cause energy prices to soar and other industries to decline.

My only regret is that the sharemarket didn’t have an attack of the Chicken Littles as it did in 2016.
Between watching the joy of people on the old Cat as the numbers came in (punctuated by IT posting “It’s happening!” every five minutes) I was madly pressing the “Buy” button on my broker’s website.
Didn’t even settle the trades.
Sold the next day when people realised the sky hadn’t fallen in, and the tidy little profit dropped into my account on the Friday.
Good times.

From Indolent’s link at 0753.

Simply put, the empire, dominated by the rich and those feeding off government largesse, whose ranks have burgeoned under Biden, simply has no comprehension of the economic fears, or concerns over crime and the border, that are felt in large parts of the country.

Change the words “under Biden” to a name relevant here, or in NZ, or the UK, or Canada or the EU, and the political problem for the western left becomes explicable.

Our so-called “elites” work for themselves, not for the wider nation.

“Funnily enough, the people on the Left and Centre most sympathetic to the Palestinians, etc. were the ones most vocally opposed to the Biden-Harris ticket.”
Biden tried so hard to appease with eyes on rafah and delaying arms shipments but only declaring war on Israel was going to be good enough.
Now dems are squauking that that cost them Michigan as muslims voted for greenstein.

I actually think outsiders are overestimating some of the influences on the results.
Grocery prices, electricity bills and housing affordability don’t get a mention by pundits but ordinary people living paycheck to paycheck really care about those things.

How wrong I was !

Iโ€™m over the moon with the result, but of course the criminal cartel called the Democrats will be up to their various shenanigans to disrupt the incoming Trump administration. But this time Trump has a very strong team backing him in Vance, Musk etc.

Why is it that every bloody right of center journo and polly insists on babbling a disclaimer whenever they talk about Trump:

“Despite his many faults”;
“A crude man who lacks grace”;
“Vindictive, undiplomatic”.

Jake Tapper is absolutely SHOCKED by the map showing that Kamala didnโ€™t outperform Biden in a single county.

Sheโ€™s a total loser!

Biden was also a loser but the Obama machine behind him engineered 20 million phantom votes just to push him over the line.

Trump and his campaign started early to change the electoral landscape and block the cheat. They succeeded enough to enable real votes to decide the election.

Former White House staffer says Kamala Harrisโ€™s actions following her loss last night to President Donald Trump was โ€œclasslessโ€ and reveals sheโ€™s a โ€œsore loser.โ€

Barbara Heineback: “I am so disappointed and really insulted that Iโ€™m a Howard alum and that she didnโ€™t have the decency to walk out and say to her, to her university, make a comment to the United States. Things were not looking well for her. It wasnโ€™t completely over.”

“I mean, it shows us how classless she actually is, a sore loser. Even though itโ€™s painful for her, for the Democrats, I think America might be relieved at recognizing and realizing they donโ€™t have to put up with this any longer.”

Sky News host: “Why do you think sheโ€™s failed? What was the biggest mistake of the Democrat campaign?”

Barbara Heineback: “She is so completely insecure that she could not have someone that bright around her to upstage her and outshine her. She made a lot of mistakes by bringing on all of Hollywood and Beyoncรฉ and all of those people. But they always do that. Beyoncรฉ wasnโ€™t very happy.”

I read on twitter there was a very large drop in mail in votes, dems weren’t able to put random ballot boxes around so much either.
Le Monde were sadly wrong with their prediction but obviously dems who voted by mail in 2020 lost their keenness this time around, 65 million votes cast by post in 2020,
https://www.lemonde.fr/en/les-decodeurs/article/2024/11/05/2024-us-election-why-absentee-voting-could-delay-when-we-know-the-winner_6731711_8.html
And here the Guardian acknowledges that democrats benefited in counties that used mail in voting in 2020.
I know Republicans encouraged early voting this time around, would be interesting to see the numbers and the split.

Righto. Soโ€ฆ. if there wasnโ€™t a massive cheat in 2020, we should be seeing bog dumps of votes for Trump that arenโ€™t enough.

But we arenโ€™t.

Why not?

John, they tried it, and it was well planned, too. They attempted to throw the GOP scrutineers out of some important Pennsylvania precincts. It was only because the courts intervened and allowed the observers back in that their plan didnโ€™t work. They made various excuses to try to close the polling booths, but this didnโ€™t work either due to court orders. There were numerous incidents in blue wall states that didnโ€™t go their way. This time, it was carefully planned and targeted at areas where they thought it would make a difference. However, it wasnโ€™t as extensive as in 2020 but very well planned and focused.

If they had managed to achieve their intended result in Penn, it would’ve been tried elsewhere.

And who’s to say they actually didn’t cheat and it was only that Trump passed through the cheat margin that he won? I’m not prepared to say that even with the win, there was no cheating with the mail-in votes. I reckon there was.

Lastly, as I’ve mentioned before Laura Trump hired 230K scrutineers and had 500 lawyers in each marginal state ready and waiting.
Summary. They did cheat, but couldn’t overcome the margin.

Climate Activists Spray-Paint US Embassy in London After Trump Win (6 Nov)

British police arrested two men after environmental activists sprayed orange paint on a section of the U.S. embassy building in south London Wednesday to protest against Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election.

Two campaigners from Just Stop Oil sprayed the embassy’s compound wall with orange paint, a video posted by the group on X showed.

“Trump’s win puts the lives of ordinary people at risk, everywhere,” Just Stop Oil said.

London’s Metropolitan Police arrested two men, aged 25 and 72, on suspicion of criminal damage, the force said.

November 7, 2024 9:28 am

Yes, yes.
Trump won. I told you last week that would happen.
No one will vote for these cackling witches they keep serving up.
My message this morning is about women voting.
Wimmin! Listen up!
I believe I have sufficiently irritated you on this point that you are now going to listen.
Sure, Trump won, yet if the electorate had consisted only of chicks Kamala would now be the leader of the increasingly not so free world.
We must stop and really look at this.

I will explain to you why this phenomenon exists. My use of logic, reason and explicit description of reality will again annoy you, and you will again want to squeal โ€œNot meโ€!
This is point one. Your very irritation at my explanation illustrates the minor reason why chicks voted Kamala: marketers to chicks use a variety of tricks and language to make you feel as if buying a thing is about you personally โ€œYou deserve itโ€. etc.
While men were raised to NOT put themselves first, to โ€œsuck it up princessโ€ and have any traces of overt self-centredness knocked out of them, repeatedly and brutally, this is not in the nature of females. If I tell my daughter โ€œharden up, itโ€™s not about youโ€ she will likely burst into tears.

So marketing to women on this point is not the same as marketing to men.

But the major point as to why women voted Kamala is: dah, dah, de, dah: social proof.
You, sweet cheeks, are driven by social proof. You are wired that way, most men are much lesser so, and insofar as they are, the effect immediately evaporates if they think marketers are using social proof towards them.

Whereas Trump marketed towards men, Kamala marketed towards women.
This should have been a winning strategy for Kamala, because as previously noted, there are more women, and they vote more often.
But because there was a sufficient number of women who like you, had over riding instincts that overcame the self centred and social proof based marketing, Trump won.
Take a second now to feel a warm glow of self satisfaction: Go, chicks like you.

But back to the point. In order to win, politicians have to choose to either go after the chick vote, with advertising and interviews that descend into idiotic, babbling totally inappropriate to the seriousness of the occasion, feely sessions. These interviews and marketing events are attempting to do three things. One, put the viewing chick in the picture by making her feel stuff and flatter her. Two, show her the celebrities she likes confirms her choice of candidate. Three, make you, the chick, feel special.
The problem is, these same marketing strategies completely turn most men off.

And the marketing to men, which usually involves a call to action after a description of reality, turns women off.

What is the solution?
The solution, as always, is to explain to women how they are being marketed to, and just how insulting and kinda demeaning it is towards you that the bastards think this should work on you.
This is done by explaining explicitly the mechanism of the marketing. When they pull out Oprah or Beyoncรฉ, explain this as a paid for marketing move. Which it is. These celebrities arenโ€™t in general doing this because they are voting for the candidate, they doing it because they are paid, or because there is some other quid pro quo involved. You actually donโ€™t know how they are really voting.
Now you already knew all this, and at this point are vigorously saying โ€œNot me Arky, I donโ€™t vote for someone because of social proofโ€.

Sigh.

Remember how we said it isnโ€™t about you?
Remember how saying to a girl โ€œIt isnโ€™t about youโ€ ends up in tears?
This is the point at which you have to overcome your nature. You have to stop now and recognise โ€œOh, thatโ€™s my โ€œitโ€™s about meโ€ thingo that has been marketed at me my whole life that just got triggeredโ€.
Itโ€™s about all the other chicks voting for feelies and social proof reasons and you have to get them to recognise when something involving social proof is being aimed at them. โ€œOh, theyโ€™re using Beyoncรฉ as social proofโ€.

Name the thing, recognise the thing, overcome the thing: break the programming.

Now, it isnโ€™t just youse. Men have their own particular hooks that marketers use, they are, in their own way, just as moronic as the ones used on chicks.
But this comment was about youse.

I think that was the true picture in 2020, but with much less cheating in 2024 (note, less cheating, not zero). To support the 2020 fraud claims, they had to suggest the popular vote was massively in favor of Dementia’. The popular vote manipulation likely happened in ‘solid’ blue states and in precincts like the Bronx, where oversight would be minimal. They tampered with machines and fabricated ballots.
